Yeah okay so I've been meaning to draw something self-indulgent like this for a while, especially because these two do not make good bedfellows while they live rent-free in my head. (Doubly so since Stary has ruled the roost for almost 20 years)

In that 20-year history of being written and roleplayed, she's developed a severe phobia of hypnosis, mind control, and anything like that. Repeated encounters with individuals who have that capacity has traumatized her and made her mega mistrustful and fearful of yet more individuals going forward.

Baggs happens to be everything she's scared of rolled into one neat little skeleton-shaped package.

Suspicious doctor of dubious morality? Check Capacity to be a very real danger to her and/or to take her apart? Check Slippery as an oiled-up eel? Check? Aaaannndd masterfully commands her greatest fear? Double check.

Granted, he's good at keeping it under wraps until it's generally too late... But you don't always need to have someone under your spell to control them, do you? Fear and the threat are more than enough to keep someone so frightened in line.

It might take a while, but over time, they could build a mutual respect and then maybe some trust. But... not until she calms down a bit and he stops occasionally antagonizing her (because, let's face it, it's sometimes funny to watch someone squirm, and to also serve as a reminder to watch her step.) At the same time, being so feared isn't comforting, and so there's likely an extension of an offer to talk about these things rather than sit on them and let them color her experience with him.

I did this on my ipad which is why it isn't... as good as my other stuff. I don't have pen pressure and it throws me every time LOL ;A;
