I'm gonna be honest, the number one thing that has changed my perspective on thai dramas since moving to thailand is the weather. since then, I literally CANNOT see any scene taking place outside without feeling hot & sweaty, like... they're acting as if it's good weather to hug or work out but I know the truth! it's so hot even standing there for more than 5 seconds makes you sweat buckets. they can't lie to me anymore!

Okay, I'm lying in bed, and I can't ignore it anymore. I need to shower. It's been over a week, and I can't keep putting it off. I know I've been feeling tired lately, and that's been affecting my motivation to do anything, even something as simple as taking a shower. But I can't let my feelings dictate my actions. It's not about how I feel; it's about what needs to be done.
I made a promise to myself today that I'll shower between 3 and 4 pm. That's when it's the warmest, and the water heater in this apartment isn't the best. I need to stick to that plan. I can't afford to skip another day of showering. If I do, it'll probably just lead to another day of staying in bed like I did yesterday, and I don't want that.
I know it's hard right now, and I'm lacking motivation, but I have to push through. Taking a shower will make me feel better, even if I can't see it yet. It'll be refreshing and rejuvenating. It might even give me a boost of energy. I need to remind myself of that.
The water temperature might not be ideal, but if I stick to my schedule, showering during the warmest time of the day is a smart move. I've planned ahead, and that's something to be proud of. I need to hold onto that thought.
I can't keep skipping out on my basic needs. Another day without showering is only going to make me feel worse. I have to break this cycle. I need to get up, get in that shower, and take care of myself. It's not just about physical cleanliness; it's about my mental well-being too.
I know it won't be easy to overcome this lack of motivation, but I need to focus on the positive outcomes. I'll feel accomplished and refreshed afterward. Even if it seems like a small task, it's an important part of self-care. I can do this. I just need to take it one step at a time.
I know I've been struggling, and it's okay to have ups and downs. I'll give myself some grace. But I won't let that be an excuse to neglect myself. I deserve to take care of myself, and taking a shower is a crucial part of that. It's time to get up, push through, and do what needs to be done.

I saw that tag!! dude!!! how are you going to sleep on time every day?? I get up at the same time every day and have been trying to be in bed by the same time I only fall asleep 40% of the time 😭😭
the secret answer that grownups and capitalists don't want u to know is: there's no such thing as an "on-time bedtime"
i work night shift. i usually wake up between 11 and noon. my shift ends at midnight and i crash by 3am. if left to my own devices, with no external pressures one way or the other, this is my natural circadian rhythm. during the year i had to work day shift and adapt to that schedule, i averaged six hours of sleep a night, constantly struggled to sleep on time even when i was Exhausted, and was absolutely miserable.
now this is far from a one-size-fits-all solution here - very few industries outside of production and factory work offer night shifts, and even then that might not be a perfect fit for your particular circadian rhythm. getting accommodations for an atypical sleep cycle (or a diagnosis of a sleep disorder) is like pulling teeth, and good luck trying to run errands after work. but recognizing and accepting that trying to brute-force my way into a "normal" sleep schedule does astronomically more harm than good, and learning how to listen to what my system needs and how to provide it, went a long way towards fixing my relationship with sleep.

Hi love!
I only work out by going for near-daily long walks and some minimal at-home strength training. Never personally go to the gym, I don't enjoy it and am not good at staying consistent with it. I believe that walking and a very healthy diet/plenty of water, adequate vitamin/nutrient intake, and sleep are the most essential for achieving a body you feel great in.

#Jesus fucking Christ#why do some people just. not see the mess they’re making and acknowledge that it’s their responsibility to clean up after themselves??#like. you throw your shoes in the entrance exactly where people walk. you let shared loafers stand outside for several hours#you cook the most simple dinner that one time you cook (mind you the other people have equal shares of making food)#and yet you don’t even manage to clean up after neither the cooking NOR taking the food off the table into the fridge so it doesn’t turn bad#you keep on taking the most easy solution that fits you the best without thinking about others. in a space where we all are exhausted#and I’m so done with it for now tbh. how lazy to not care about the bare necessities for others. how rude to admit to it#AND on top of this. you’ll tell stuff about your country that’s *objectively horrifying* and then add on to that that you love your country#it’s just. so many things. are so so so much of what I’d avoid in a person. a few things is fine. no one’s perfect. but damn there’s a limit#SORRY to anyone who’s read this far but I just. had to get it out#this guy is the one I’m working the closest with these two and a half weeks. hes still a kid kind of.
