How many dishes can the guys make? As robots, I can see that they would have a lot of knowledge due to the internet, but do they have any criteria as to the theme of the restaurant or the amount of time it takes?
great question!
the restauarant is specifically a cha chaan teng, a Hong Kong style cafe so the majority of the menu revolves around that cuisine
however!! the DCA boys often introduce new menu items, as well as weekly and seasonal specials!
Sun is the most adventurous in cooking new dishes. he is very interested in learning new recipes, new cooking methods, ingredient substitutions, etc! he takes it all as a personal challenge to experiment with new recipes
Moon will often try new dishes based on current trendsā€”like he would totally be making variations of the Dubai chocolate bar and tanghulu and cucumber salads right now haha! honestly if he could, he'd love to travel and try all different kinds of foods around the world
As the barista, Eclipse also experiments with new drinks. along with their standard cafe drinks (like tea, coffee, ovaltine, etc.) he also has a seasonal drink selection to match the themes of the season. so it's autumn now, he'd have pumpkin spice milk tea, sweet potato latte, and mooncake hot chocolate for mid-autumn festivalā€”all decadent, warm and cozy drinks that feel like a warm hug!
they have an ever-changing ā€œsurprise meā€ special, which is a unique meal that combines the dishes they've been experimenting on. it's like a very casual omakase. it's not a very popular set, since it constantly changes, but it is at a reduced price. the customersā€™ feedback also helps them improve the dishes. see, the boys can eat (as an alternative way to charge) and they do have taste and scent receptors, but they struggle with textures and mouthfeel because they don't have a squishy human mouth. so getting customer feedback on their experiments really helps them out. i imagine the "surprise me" special would be popular among students who are on a tight budget and are willing to try something new each time, cuz even though it's a mystery, they know it's great value for the price since the boys put all their effort into all their cooking

Š”heese scones with green onions and ham
It's very cheesy, juicy, and delicious! If you haven't come across the word "scones" before, don't be alarmed, we will make soft triangular treats with a crispy crust. By the way, scones can be baked in the form of a large circle, and then cut into segments, so they will be soft on the sides.
Ingredients:
For the base:
300 g of flour
200 g of hard cheese
240 ml of kefir
100 g of butter
1 tbsp of sugar
1 tsp of baking powder
Ā½ tsp of baking soda
Pinch of salt
For the filling:
200 g of ham
Green onions (to taste)
Additionally:
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp of milk
1 tbsp of sesame seeds
Recipe:
Add baking soda and baking powder to the floor, shift into a large bowl. Mix in salt and sugar. Then add pieces of butter and run the mixture into crumbs with your hands. Add grated cheese, finely chopped ham, and onions, maxwell. Pour in kefir and mix with a spoon.
Place the dog on the table and bleed it. At first, the dough will stick heavily to your hands, so you can add some flour (but just a little!). Then place the dog on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Shape the dough with your hands into a circle about 2 cm thick and put it into 8 pieces.
Mix the egg yolk with milk, brush the scenes with the mixture, sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake at 200Ā°C for 20 minutes.
You can add sausage, ham, herbs, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, and onions to the base.

Chicken roll with bacon in a cheesy-garlicky crust.
One of the advantages of this dish is that it can be prepared the day before, and literally an hour before the guests arrive, put it in the oven. By the way, as a filling, you can use absolutely any products that you like: mushrooms, cheese, prunes, dried apricots, carrots, etc.
Ingredients:Ā 
On a baking sheet measuring 40Ɨ27 cm
For the filling
600 g chicken fillet 300 g carrots (1-2 pieces) 200 g onions (1-2 heads) 150-200 g bacon (ham, bacon) 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 tsp. chicken seasoning Ā½ tsp. garlic (dried) Ā½ tsp. salt
For the cheese layer
400 g cheese 200 g sour cream 4 eggs 1 tsp. garlic (dried) 1 tsp. oregano
Recipe:
1. Cut the chicken fillet into thin slices, flatten them through food film, and rub with a mixture of salt, garlic, and chicken seasoning. Leave it on the table to marinate while preparing the other layers.
2. Grate the carrots on a large grater, finely chop the onions. Fry everything together in a pan with vegetable oil.
3. For the crust, combine eggs, garlic, herbs, and sour cream in a bowl. Add grated cheese, mix. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and greased with vegetable oil, and bake at 180Ā°C for 20 minutes. Then remove the crust from the oven, leave it for a couple of minutes, then turn it over onto foil spread out on the table and remove the parchment.
5. Place bacon on the crust (it should cover half of the crust), then chicken and carrots with onions. Roll up the roll using foil, bake at 180Ā°C for 50 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes at 200Ā°C.
