Progress is still progress!
It doesn't matter if you hadn't done the things you were supposed to do. It doesn't matter that if you finished 1 thing out of 4 things. You don't have 3 more things to do, you have 1 less thing to complete.
It doesn't matter if you had relapsed after a day or 3 of productivity and healing into a spiral again. What matters is that you get back up and start again. Because now you're a bit stronger and more resilient than before.
It doesn't matter if all you did today was getting out of bed, eat and change your clothes while you did nothing else. Appreciate yourself and give yourself the credit you deserve for doing those small things.
It doesn't matter if the only thing you did today was to focus on existing and on yourself alone. Be proud of surviving till the end of the day because you made it through knowing that there was a possibility of you not making it.
Progress is still progress. It doesn't matter if you take small or big steps. You're taking a step and that's all that matters.

In 2025, instead of planning and dreaming, I want to take action to get to where I want to be. I have very few goals that I want to achieve this year, and most of them are intentions than real goals. I hope this will set me up for succes and make me feel motivated to do every single day.

Graduating,
Passing my car theory exam,
Finding a fun job next to being a student and babysitter,
Writing a short novel, *at least start
Fixing my sleep schedule,
Growing my social circle and finding love,
Saving more money for travels,
Cutting down on junkfood,
Making reading part of my daily routine,
Being consistent with skincare routine,
Stop skipping practices, even if i feel tired.

Start off with a clean foundation- By using an unscented bar of soap. Take your time with this step as it is very important. It is best to wash about twice for this step . Make sure to wash with a washcloth.
Next, apply your scented scrubs or body wash - Now that you're clean from your first layer, apply your favourite scented body washes over top with a loofah, an African net cloth, a silicone body brush, or whatever exfoliating tool you have.
* You've just finished a crucial step without realising it , you've double cleansed. Similar to skin care, double cleansing ensures that your skin is clean and prepped . Before going the additional mile, it is important to start with a a clean surface.
Rinsing with cold water- it’s a game changer from someone who loves hot showers and use to find the idea of taking a cold one crazy. It has so many benefits , I feel more fresh and committed to my routine. This is just personal preference.
Put on lotion - A little tip if you use body oil mix in with your lotion , this method is is also your base to smelling good for a longer period of time .
Put on deodorant - Self explanatory
Perfume of you choice - Finish your routine by smelling good in your favorite scent and you’re done !
**Make sure your scents match , avoid mixing any scent’s together that do not go together , finding your signature scent takes time but keep scents in range **

Dr. Bronner's Unscented Bar soap - Wash twice with washcloth
Dove body wash Shea butter and vanilla scent - Wash twice with more of an exfoliating tool . Ex ( loofah , African net , Silicone brush )
Tree hut Brown sugar scrub - exfoliate twice a week at most
Vaseline coco radiant Lotion + body oil
Any vanilla scent perfume

lot of homophobes using june as men's mental health month as a gotcha at pride and i just gotta say. those fuckers never gave a shit about mens mental health. this past week, i have not seen a single post from these men about mental health from the so-called mental health advocates. its only used as a strawman's argument about pride overshadowing men's mental health. (also its not hard to see that they mean straight, cis men's mental health)
conservatives are obsessed with men and boys not seeking help with mental health issues or even expressing emotion. if they do theyll be called gay, a pansy, weak, etc. its so transparent to me how often conservatives will co-op certain things to weaponize against things they hate. you know who does care about men's mental health? the gay and trans men that have been on the other side of vitrolic attacks by former friends, family members, and politicians for their entire lives. If there is a group of people that understand the importance of mental health, it is transgender men. pride and mental health are not inserparable. fuck off with that.

𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠/𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞
Ah, it's my favorite time of the day again. As I mentioned in my morning routine post, I'm definitely not a morning person—I'm a night owl all the way. My evening begins as soon as I get out of school, and my night routine starts after dinner. I don't attach specific times to my tasks since my school schedule changes daily.
𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠.
First thing I do after getting home and eating, is starting on my schoolwork. If I finish all this before dinner, I don't have to worry about it the rest of the night. I spend 30 minutes on my homework and 1 hour on my studywork. I use the pomodoro method for this.
𝐆𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞.
After I finished, I am most likely very drained and tired. That's why I take about a 20-30 minute walk or run. This energizes me and reassures that I get my steps in.
𝐓𝐨-𝐃𝐨 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭.
I spend till dinner to finish my to-do list. Most likely they're small choirces that I have been procrasenating like cleaning my room, or e-mailing that one person.
𝐃𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞.
My dinner is spend with my family, I try to be present, be interested in their days and talk about mine.
Once we're finished, we usually watch the news together.
𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐨𝐰𝐧.
I take a 5-10 minute shower and get into comfy clothes. I do my skincare before heading down for a small sweet snack and tea.
I then watch tv for a little while or read.
I do a meditation and journal before bed and try to be in bed at around 22:30.

i love you body. i love you anxiety for always being on high alert because you want to protect me. i love you hunger for reminding me that i need nourishment and when i’m feeling down or stressed, you remind me to have a snack as a lil treat. i love you jealousy for showing me that i am not stuck and that i want to grow and have something just like they do. i love you tiredness for the way you show me that rest is just as important as doing things, if not more.
