based on the Billstill au by @jellynut! You guys should totally go check it out, it's so cool and angsty and somehow my monkey brain took that idea and made it Stan tormenting Bill forevermore. (This has spiraled rapidly not its own au of an au based on an earlier idea I had once) (might draw more of this au and that one who knows)
Tumblr media
This has been going on for at least 15 hours straight, and Stan is having the time of his goddamn life watching Bill suffer
Tumblr media
And then Bill gave Stan horrendous night terrors
And then Stan bought a giant bag of nachos and ground them up into crumbs and dumped them in the sea or some shit
Transcript and full image under cut
Tumblr media
Bill, floating intangibly: You're a loser, Mac
Stan, looking up from his magazine: Yeah? And you're an interdimensional demon dumb enough to die in my head. You're the biggest idiot I know, and I know me

Writing Phoenix is so much fun, especially with Bratworth. Like you'd think that because Miles is already a bitch, and Phoenix is the guiding moral light in his life, Phoenix is supposed to be this pure, optimistic, ray of sunshine that little by little manages to soften Miles by thawing out the icy exterior he has built around himself. But no. No no no. Because Phoenix is also a bitch. He's a sarcastic little cunt who judges everyone and everything. He's always one step away from completely crashing out and just flipping the entire defense's bench at someone. Does Phoenix soften Miles eventually? Yes. But he does it by physically breaking the ice with his bare hands if he needs to. 21-year-old Miles never stood a chance.

let me just start with....
the first word he ever heard from her with her real voice was "Baek SaEon"
the second word that she said to him was "가지마 (gajima) [don't go]"
how melancholic it is for the combine words to turns into a phrase "Baek SaEon, don't go." for someone who's life was never his since the beginning.
"did I asked for this life? stop shoving it down my throat. as I'm at the edge of throwing it all up."
"if i didn't act reckless, i have nowhere to hide. there is nowhere to hide except my back."
you don't talk about baek saeon being a red flag without understanding that he is a trauma on legs. the guy's whole life was built on lie. a lie that we currently don't know which way the writer will reveal to us. I'm not sure whether they will follow the webnovel route or their own route. from the way the story goes, maybe they'll went a different way from the webnovel regarding baek saeon's real identity.
please heejoo save this guy... you're his only salvation, the only one who can let him breathe.
"the only thing that can calm me down was the hand movement of a girl next door practicing sign language every night."
and him being protective over hee joo's hand was also because it is the same hands that always calms his down after his nightmares. the hands were precious to him probably more than she ever know.

would it be controversial if i said that within the komahina community hajime is mischaracterized far more often then komaeda is. like out of these two characters you can clearly tell which one the majority cares about more

Wait, if the volcano is going off in the background, does that mean the Chaos Island level takes place during the events of Frontiers. I really hope that's the case, because knowing that Shadow was canonically running around the island as an alien squid while Sonic and Tails were playing pinball would be so funny

Saw someone exploring the “Miles means gift from god” take. Magnificent.
Apparently something about the Chaos Emeralds creating Tails for Sonic, a “gift from god” in all its sense, I really want to see how this concept develops.
Now, kind of a previous concept here on my side, some think about the Chaos Emerals giving Sonic his little brother… have you heard about the Law of equivalent exchange?
Maybe the Emeralds didn’t create Tails, they didn’t give him to Sonic, but they did give Sonic unmeasurable power, a god’s gift, a way to change the world, and Sonic did change the world, he saved it.
That kind of power doesn’t come for free. He used that power. He has protected and saved countless lives over and over with that power. He saved the world with that power. The chaos emeralds gave him a literal divine gift, it’s only fair they take something as valuable from him isn’t it?
The Chaos Emeralds giving him Tails… What about the chaos emeralds taking him away?

My theory is Scourge is crying.
At least once.
Crying in front of Sonic
and/or
Crying in private when Fiona can just hold him.
He's gonna cry. I dunno when. But he will. I can just feel it.
The crier actually

''One night she.. simply walked into the moonlight and never returned''
I've been thinking about my Mahariel's mother a lot lately.
And my personal headcannons about those events in general. Particularly the concept of ''Mahariel is only alive because Marethari as the new keeper used blood magic to heal(?) their mother after she and their father were attacked''.
[I dont put that level of hypocrisy above her. After all, she herself is not above having shady dealings with dangerous powers, despite ousting and ostracizing her own for lesser offenses in that area. And given actions such as 'using the old magic to heal you'.. of the blight? Which you're then sufficiently recovered from until you make it to Ostagar on foot, the phrasing of 'your mother held on to life long enough to give birth to you'.. It presents a rather haunting image even when looking at it through a charitable lens. It's not like Marethari HAS NOT shown a pattern of counting certain lives as more valuable than others. And not wincing at the blood price of 'helping' them.]
In any case, in terms of Mahariel's mother.. the clan failed her. From the very start when no-one stepped in to stop the keeper getting involved with a young woman whose clan disapproved, to the very end when no-one stopped her walking off into the moonlight.
I just have this picture in my mind of her as the lone survivor, questionably alive even, rose tinted glasses shattered and reckoning with the horrors of her situation she hadn't fully recognized until that point.
The differences in age, in power. The reasons why her elders did not approve the match. Yet there's nothing to be done now.
He's dead, she's with child.
She can't go home, but the idea of staying is a nightmare.
No happy ending could ever come of this.

Good night, everyone! Let's try to follow V3's example in this one very specific fashion. Make no attempt to imitate him in any other respect. There are some things only Kamen Rider should do—

The scene in The Jedi where Ahsoka tries to get Grogu to use the Force made me realise how long it actually was at that point since we last saw him use it. He hadn't used it since he pushed back the fire from the Incinerator troopers in Redemption.
I wonder if he didn't use it very much after that point because he was trying to say to Din that he didn't really want to be a Jedi anymore. That he didn't want to be reunited with his kind and he wanted to stay with Din. If he didn't use his powers there would be nothing to train.
Until Din showed Grogu he loved him so much that he was happy to let him go. So that's when Grogu decided he should take that path and retrain to be a Jedi...
