Hi guys.
I haven't been very active on this blog at all but I just wanted to say that I miss all of my fellow bowie lovers... And I miss the great starman himself so much... I hope all of you are doing alright. If any of you need to talk, I'm right here. Not a day goes by that I don't think of David. You are very missed. ❤️

me watching shows alone: tears up at every little thing, cries at every death & the climax of every arc, is generally very gay and emotional
me watching shows around other people: never cries, makes bad jokes and smart ass comments the entire time

do you ever see a photograph of someone really attractive from like the 1800s and you suddenly get pissed because they’ve been dead for like 200 years and you probably don’t have a chance with them

School is coming (or here), and we are all going to try our best, okay? I know school is difficult, especially since a lot of us have mental illnesses and disabilities, so I’ve included some things to help with your mental health. I’ve also included lots of my own personal tips. Enjoy! Do well, my sweethearts!

Organize!
If you don’t have the money for a planner (which you need!!!) use google calendars or download this handy-dandy Passion Planner.
Try to talk to your teachers before class and make a connection with them; it makes them value you, and it makes them less scary.
Get separate binders for all of your subjects, or consolidate them all into one big binder. Be sure to know what your teacher wants beforehand though: some teachers grade your binder on organization. Here’s how.
Organize your locker.
Succeed!
Goals, Goals, Goals: Write them down and tell people your goals.

Choose your topic: go for the ones you know will have lots of information.
Read, take notes, and write down the source and page number for everything. If you use the internet, use databases and NOT Wikipedia.
Teachers hate Wikipedia. It’s useful to familiarize yourself with the topic, but don’t take notes on it or use it as a source. However, scroll down to where Wikipedia cites its sources. There’s often great stuff down there you can use.
Begin to form opinions on your topic and use mind mapping to expand on them. These opinions will form your thesis.
How to Write a Thesis: [opinion] because [supporting evidence]. Go over your thesis with your teacher; they can offer you suggestions.
Research more on your thesis. Find supporting evidence and the supporting evidence for the supporting evidence.
How to Outline
How to Write: Go straight from your outline.
How to Make a Bibliography: MLA, APA, and Chicago styles
Editing and Proofreading: Start with the big stuff, then the little stuff like grammar. Make structural changes first.
Remember to check the rules for the paper and standard conventions.

Study Playlists
If you listen to music, make sure there’s no voices. Choose instrumental stuff, it’ll help you focus more.
