No, but I hope Superboy is their actual kid from the future not any of the other options.

I AM SO EXCITED
I am manifesting all of my favorite parts of Kon to be accurate in this version.
Bisexual Kon PLEASE
he’s a genius (whether they’re going with the version where his human dna is Lex’s, or Paul Westfield, those are both extremely intelligent scientists/evil masterminds, plus all the force fed world knowledge Kon was given in the cloning process).
He’s gotta have TTK. DC PLEASE I AM BEGGING.
If I remember correctly, it’s canon in the comics that the reason his ear is pierced is because he had an identification tag in it. This is such an interesting ( and angst filled) concept, plus it gives a reasonable explanation for a kryptonian having a piercing in the first place.
We have only so far seen him from the waist up, and I know it is probably extremely hard to animate, but he has to have at least one belt. It’s part of his Look 😭🙏

Idk if there’s anything else to say except: Oops! All Superman! (Silver Age Edition)
(Lois is the actual one who’s supposed to be in the middle, I just thought this would be funny and then spent way too long on it)

bruce characterization is so hard because he really has been written all over the place. generally i try to think of him as a man who really does mean well, but whose drive for justice and unprocessed traumas can blind him to his shortcomings and lead to him inadvertently hurting his children. i also think that comics are a medium that doesn't usually lend itself well to character growth, because they to maintain a certain status quo to keep telling stories from, and so the bruce in my mind would honestly develop and learn from his mistakes a lot better than canon bruce actually does, because for someone who espouses the values he does, it makes no sense for him to completely stagnate, right. he's a puzzle you can put together in a lot of different ways and it's fascinating but also can be such a pain because of all the different books writing him in so many different ways, but characterizing him solely as an asshole is just boring and reductive imo...
...but all of that said i still think if martha kent ever found out how he talked to kon in sb94 #85 or in those issues of batgirl '00, she should be allowed to beat his ass with a pitchfork. yknow?

Challengers (2024) is just all three of the main characters looking at the others and going “that should be me” but also not fully processing who or what they actually want

watched the first episode of that my adventures with superman show and its fun! its been awhile since ive seen a superman story that wasn’t trying to be some edgy subversion or deconstruction. i really like the voltron art style, clark and lois have great chemistry and are already an adorable duo + i like starting out very early in the story, with clark, lois, and jimmy all just interns at the daily planet and clark still learning the limits of his powers. You can see the potential for growth in the character relationships and superheroics. definitely going to keep up with this one, its got me all nostalgic for when i used to watch superman TAS and the justice league cartoon.

i think there is a criminal lack of jon and kon content like i want to see them being brothers is that too much to ask for? like give me jon being a menace of a younger brother who pinches kon and when kon complains nobody believes him because jon has mastered the image of "innocent younger sibling" or kon chasing jon around the house with kryptonite because "it builds character clark!"

Idea for a Batman vs Superman story: surprise! Batman is actually wrong for once this time. Not that he always isn't, but narrative always makes exceptions for him.
Lois and Clark pursue Batman for both child abuse and idk—everything else, how about that? I think it'd make for a very interesting plot: it goes into how you see things clearly when you're the third party. That it's very easy to say what's right or wrong when you're not the one involved.
But when it's one of your colleagues/friends who has a habit of taking orphans/abusing them or basically being a one man fascist deep state—then what do you do? He works with you. You're supposed to be a hero. When Lex Luthor does it, it's not okay? But if Bruce Wayne does it, it is? Think Clark, think. You saw he kicked Dick out, Clark. You've seen the way he treats the kids, you've seen the way he treats the League. You've seen his attitude towards the poor and marginalised. You're someone who understands him deeply and knows what makes him tick and you know why he is the way he is. But if you let him roam free and abuse everyone around you, what kind of hero do you call yourself? Do you make excuses for him because it's “not that simple?”
So, yeah. Batman vs Superman that actually makes sense.
P.S. the child abuse I'm talking about isn't the “Robin is child endangerment” argument. It's [waves hand] everything else.
P.P.S: I hate that panel of Wally tearing Bruce a new one concerning “children superheroes”. I mean, it makes sense. Wally grew up with Dick, he knows what kind of parent Bruce was. And they have the entire Justice League hissing through their teeth and going all “he did not say that. Lol.” and they think they're revolutionary or cool or any of these things.
But they're not.
What is the Justice League if it condones abuse within its circles. What is the Justice League when it sees a hero mistreating their sidekick and does nothing about it? Because they know him?
Either don't bring it up at all and I'll somehow suspend my disbelief (the way I do with really good comics like Grimm and BtAS) or if you're bringing it up make sure the narrative doesn't condone it but NOPE! DC and dudebro writers of the medium only know how to half arse things.
