Ryuko get’s a taste of his own medicine 🛌🏻
Aki tries waking up Ryuko with a shock pen on his neck since Ryuko always rudely wakes other cast-mates up during practices.
Ryuko going “大嫌い! (I hate you!)” like a three year old at the end is the cherry on top. (´・ω・`)

japan week one ➜ hidamari ga kikoeru & kurosute
for my first week in tokyo, i went to see hidamari ga kikoeru in theaters & saw the kuroko's basket stage play (on the day of mario’s birthday!!) ❤
hidamari ga kikoeru was such a delight of a movie. it was true to the original manga from beginning to end, with an added touch of artistic visuals and exceptional acting. i couldn’t help but think about how far japanese gay movies have improved in production quality since the sad days of takumi-kun and the like (the comparison is fair, we all enjoy seeing tezuka actors kissing boys). taichi’s actor was adorable and managed to make the character feel natural despite his eccentricities, and i really enjoyed mitsuya ryo (6th fuji) in his role too! but hideya (7th tezuka) was just. wonderful. it was a pleasure to see him in the main, key role of a movie after seeing him lead several theater productions. he’s talked about it several times before the movie came out, but you could tell by his interpretation that he was really serious and respectful about his portrayal of a disabled and gay person, which is really essential considering how similarly respectful the original work is. also he was really cute and handsome even if his upper lip has a tendency to disappear
kurosute!! my first time seeing a 2.5D stage play in person. i was in the middle of the 7th row too, so i could see everything and everyone so well even if i forgot my theater glasses. i have to stay, they really improved the production quality since the first one (even if the costumes are still so badly fitted and unfortunate). i was really happy to see onoken (2nd muromachi) since he’s one of my favorite voice actors, and mokkun (1.5th shinji) was my first theater actor crush... and, i’ll be honest, he definitely stole the show here! he was so charismatic and charming in all of his villainy. his versatility is like no other!! his biggest competition had to be riko and momoi’s actors, they were adorable and gorgeous. but of course, the reasons why i got tickets. makita (4th momo) still looks like a basic nerd in his hyuuga costume and my face was like :x each time he was on stage trying not to laugh but he’s. so handsome you can still see his handsome face under the nerd glasses and bad hair okay. i was really happy to get to see this part of kurobas’ story since it had a big focus on hyuuga, kiyoshi & riko and all three of their actors are wonderful people!! also maybe i was hallucinating from being in the middle of my row of seats but i swear makita kept staring in my direction. did he smell the mao on my north american self? akihiro (5th kaidoh) just makes his character (bro, i dislike that dude so much in the animanga i don’t even remember his name) waaay too cute. the cutest kaidoh ever(tm)’s legacy lives on. he was so pretty and cute and so charming in the dance numbers (as was makita--his smile is the loveliest)...
and of course, mister birthday boy. kuroba mario (7th eiji) was. stunning. despite how many western actors, seiyuu, kpop idols & music artists i’ve met and/or seen in person before, i don’t think i’ve ever been this intensely starstruck. i could literally feel the stars in my eyes (actually maybe those were just tears) while looking at him? he’s so tall and his limbs are incredibly long and slim and his legs are so silky smooth and shiny, i know that’s weird to notice but it was really striking okay. his smile is so gorgeous and his acting, as always, was fantastic (i did have to stop myself from laughing during the scene where kise cries bcuz it just reminded me of VS rikkai nationals tho). i think most of the seats in my area were reserved to people who had won their tickets through mario’s fanclub like i did, since most of us were fans lmao. since it was his birthday, onoken asked him to do the closing speech. he was so giggly and awkward and had to turn to onoken to know what to say... when it was time to get off the stage he headed towards the middle exit like the chairmen (kagami & kuroko) did, they were like ??? so he giddily was about to leave but they told him to come along anyways and was with them for the encore too... he did the classic kise wink+v sign on the first exit and blew a kiss at the audience for the second... i shamelessly joined in with the fangirl squealing XD i was so unbelievably happy to have gotten the chance to see mario, and am looking forward to seeing him again in 2 weeks for the sea opening premiere event!
