hello, hello, you all — so... i hope you all are having a great thursday thus far, and i thought i'd bring this up now since i hadn't before; but with ana's zombification comes some noticeable differences to his behavior as well as appearance. because, and don't get me wrong, he was already pale before... but now anastasiy's skin now has this pallor that takes on a sickly look. and it has become necessary for ana to have to apply some concealer to his skin daily to hide the fact that his lips are, indeed, sort of tinged blue + some veins (particularly around his eyes and mouth) can clearly be seen and it definitely isn't the most uhh. natural look, to say the least JSJSJ

now, i'll probably cover more about his behavioral differences later, but one thing is that this man does have these SICK and TWISTED urges to consume human flesh as a zombie would in typical fiction would... so that's lovely / j LMAO nahhh, i'm totally being sarcastic with y'all right now as that is actually horrifying. but anastasiy does try his darndest to resist giving into this temptation because cannibalism is a BIG no-no in society for a reason (because its absolutely terrible and extremely gross) + with... slightly mixed results 😬

I caved in and finally drew some Queen fanart after nearly five or six years to commemorate this amazing musician and the incredible band he worked with. His songs, although few, are some of the catchiest and most important in all of rock history. He really was the secret weapon of Queen.

Killer Queen

He came over to my place tonight - I know Sierra Six well enough to tell he's still not convinced that these weird stalkers are gone. I mean, I say 'stalkers' but he thinks they're shady government people trying to get me to get back at him. If he was any other guy, I'd say something about an inflated ego and paranoia but...

He's not. I don't think I remember a single time where he fucked up and if I'm still alive (and out of jail), it's thanks to him. The only reason we came to my place is because he never visited before and it would be as good as any other safe house around - I don't even own the thing under my own name. For a night only, we should be fine.

And even if it was over 2am, we weren't sleepy and we ended up... Cooking. I knew Six wasn't going to rest anyway and I didn't want to leave him alone (funny, huh) and I suggested making a homemade meal and... Fuck. Cooking is an act of love, isn't it? I had some meat and stuff from the store that was fresh enough and we had rare steak and mashed potatoes with some greens.

And the look on his face - I mean; we have food at the bar, he sometimes eats there (he trusts Charlie enough by now, I feel), but it was... Different. I don't think I've seen him looking so... Unguarded. Grateful. Maybe that one time on the plane, but... God. I don't think I'll be able to forget.

He's showering now while I picked this old diary up to write this down because I don't want this to fade. Fuck, I know he can take care of himself, but... That look on his insanely blue eyes made me feel like I wanted to do it for a change. I wanted to protect him - or his heart.

Who would have thought I still had it in me, huh.

Blood Moon Rising

There is something wrong with me - I do not dare say this aloud out of fear someone else within these halls may hear me, but I believe I am... Different. The way that the woods called out to me; the moonlight that looks brighter than it ever did; the pull that the borders of the capital have over me.

I did not grow up like this - I do not recall these sensations, but they have been growing stronger over the last weeks. If anything, they got worse after I met him. He tried to scare me off a few times now but... Why?

Why is he trying to push me away from these grounds? I feel I need to go there, I feel I need to... Be close to him, in some sense. Maybe he is the one that is calling out to me without his normal voice. I felt something when we touched, some sort of charged emotion that I had never experienced. Like my heart skipped a beat and breathing became harder.

This man... Is like a key to unlocking a mystery and I just cannot help but be drawn to it. Doesn't he feel the same? Doesn't he wish to understand why we seem to be polar opposites exercising some form of attraction? And yet... I know how this ends when it happens with a princess - no heir to the throne gets to choose her own life.

(Does he know I am not the peasant girl I try to be when I visit? Is this why he pushes me away...?)

All I know is that I will continue - I will not give up trying and going there; these forests are not his, he cannot keep me from experiencing this strange... Freedom. Out of palace halls, away from the court and without any obligations. I just wished he would join me for once in real life instead of being present in my dreams alone.

These dreams are making me look forward to bedtime, but I cannot help but feel like reality would be infinitely better if he just... Told me his name. Gave in. Until then, I'll hold onto these nighttime illusions.
