Favourite Horror Tv Shows (Unranked)

The Haunting Of Hill House 

You want trauma in your ghosts? You want plottwists and time shenanigans? You want excruciatingly beautifully shot episodes? You want m o n o l o g u e s ! Family drama! Shirley Jackson with a twist?

I’m someone who generally loves Mike Flanagan’s work, because he’s not particularly pretentious about it. He clearly just loves horror as a metaphor for grief and trauma in particular, and also his wife Kate Siegel, and I think that’s sexy of him. 

This is definitely my favourite out of everything he’s made though, movies included. 

The Exorcist

Underrated! Wonderful! Queer! It’s unfortunate that this show was so misjudged that it didn’t reach the audience that it would have thrived under. I imagine a bunch of angry edgy fanboys wouldn’t be too happy with queer priests (amongst others) and feminist horror. 

Geena Davies in season 1. John Cho and Brianna Hildebrand in season 2. And the leads (Marcus and Tomas) are the version of partners-in-crime (sometimes literally crime) who pine for each other that for once isn’t grounded in no homo.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer

The Classic! Created so many tropes! And, despite J*ss Wh*d*n being a dick, full of women who are played by wonderful, talented actresses, and who get (for the most part) interesting, harrowing, fulfilling, varied narratives. 

I really didn’t see a genre show with this many female leads again until... I wanna throw out a year like 2015-2016. And even then, this one breaks the mold in terms of sheer accessibility and fun and inventiveness!

Sarah Michelle Gellar is an icon. This is her show!

Santa Clarita Diet

You know that post that’s like: My favourite “het” couples in film are actually bisexual. You know when a woman is unhinged and her husband is simply there to assist her in that goal? You love domestic serial killers? Zombies with-a-twist? Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant being married? 

Literally what’s not to love? Sometimes your spouse becomes a zombie and because you love her, you’re going to help find the right victims (usually nazis) and hide the bodies. I don’t even like the idea of marriage, but if this is what it’s about, I finally get it!

Twin Peaks

I feel like I’m due a rewatch of this. The tragedy of it wasn’t lost on me when I was younger, but I was definitely very caught up in the eerie dreaminess and idiosyncrasies of the characters. 

Also, I still haven’t seen Fire Walk With Me, which I feel would help to recenter the whole narrative where it rightfully belongs: With Laura Palmer.

It’s aesthetically so right though. It draws you in, it unsettles you, it embodies the idea of a place being alive. 

Not to mention we love Dale Cooper in this household! 

The Addams Family

Okay before there were any other married couples, there was Morticia and Gomez Addams. 

This show is so funny - so many of the gags you see in the later movies that are also still hilarious are directly from the original show. 

I’ve got no ability to say how this was appreciated in the 60s, but considering it only had two seasons I feel like Not Enough. 

Somethingsomething ahead of its time, very subversive, Gomez Addams is Sean Astin’s stepfather, which feels important to me.

The Twilight Zone 

Speaking of ahead-of-its-time right? 

This show is everything! It has everything! It’s fantastic writing! It’s gorgeous set-up-and-pay-off! It’s political! It’s spooky! It’s anthology! It’s classic! It’s wild to me that its first season was in 1959, but it was a time of change and this fits perfectly into that push against all kinds of sensibilities and norms, both within Hollywood and America beyond.

Rod Sterling was a masterclass writer and anyone interested in the strange and unusual, but also just in good stories put to screen ought to watch this. 

Seriously: The Classic!

Hannibal

The joke I was going to make was “haha look I chose a gif for this show that’s less about Cannibalism and more about how gay these two are,” but honestly a large proportion of the gifs are about how gay these two are, and isn’t the show really a gay dramedy when you get down to it? 

The inverse Pushing Daisies, the continuation of Bryan Fuller’s perfect career of making beloved - and then cancelled - shows (Wonderfalls, Dead Like Me, Pushing Daisies, Hannibal... what next?) and my personal favourite of the bunch, because I love gothic gay idiots.

Chucky

I’ve seen the first 4 episodes. I love the film franchise (me, having watched the Child’s Play Verse films in the last two months, clutching them to my chest and hissing like a cat). 

It is more enjoyable if you watch the movies first, since it situates itself in an already-established verse and narrative, but it’s a fascinatingly built world that - because of its continued story through the last 30 years - feels very congruent to its own internal wacky laws. 

It also has queerness baked into its bones and I’m fascinated by how it’ll delve further into that legacy now that it’s become more possible to be direct about it.

It was only Nemuri. “You, uh, you scared me…” You whisper. Your cheeks feeling enflamed as you stood outside the doors to the house you were by. “I was–”

“Thinking of ways to profess your love to little baby, Eraser?” Nemuri teases despite the own blush on her face, she was a sucker for your one-sided romance after all. “You know, for someone as observant as he is, it’s a tragedy he hasn’t noticed you’re in love with him!”

“’Muri-chan!” You shriek as you whip around as if expecting Aizawa to be lurking around for some reason. Given that you knew your crush since high school, you were sure he was busy keeping a drunk Hizashi out of trouble.

But the night was only getting later, and gifts for Secret Santa had been distributed. Most of your colleagues were, in fact, leaving now. But you knew you had to stay.

“I’ll distract Hizashi, you go get you… your man!” Nemuri slurred drunkenly, the skimpy red dress she wore was not at all in a decent place, but she wasn’t embarrassed. Nor did she want anyone fixing it for her. So most people avoided their stare from her body. 

You didn’t even have time to reject her statement as she dragged you across the room. Aizawa and Hizashi were standing where she took you. “MIC COME WITH ME!” Nemuri laughed as she took Hizashi by the hand who had been in the middle of ignoring what Aizawa had to say anyways.

Your eyes locked onto Aizawa who was looking at you. You found yourself straightening out your dress. Your drunken friends disappeared with very loud whispers. 

“T-They’re a bit too much, huh?” You ask looking at your feet as Aizawa sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. 

“I regret telling Mic that I would be his driver tonight.” Aizawa agrees as you nod your head. 

Your thoughts were racing a million kilometers a second. The horror you felt because you couldn’t keep a conversation. You knew you had to say something soon, or else you never would.

“Do you want to go outside with me for a bit?” Aizawa asks, and you freeze. “It’s a bit stuffy in here, and I’m going to pass out soon.” 

“Yeah, um, I just need to grab my, uh, my jacket.” 

“Take mine.” Aizawa offers as he shrugs off the black wool coat he had been wearing all night. 

“No wonder why you’re hot.” You laugh slightly, as the heavy coat is placed on your shoulders. The heat of the jacket and the scent of Aizawa’s cologne hit your body like a truck as you watch him walk out the door. His eyes on you expectantly. 

“Oh, man…” You mutter to yourself as you walk after him, mentally preparing to confess any second now. 

You watch as Aizawa leans against the porch, his arms folded and you walk over slowly. The two of you stand in silence as Aizawa lets out a slow exhale. The hot air of his breathes smoking against the cold air. 

“How have your students been?” Aizawa asks you, interrupting the silence. 

“Oh, pretty good.” You say with a smile before it falters. “I wish we could do something about Mirio though, it breaks my heart.” 

Aizawa nods his head in agreement as he looks up, his body stilling. But you don’t notice this as your mouth opens ready to confess your feelings.

“Do you follow the mistletoe tradition?” He asks, and your voice dies in your throat. 

“W-What?” 

“Ecto hid the mistletoe here, and well, I’m asking if you follow the tradition.” 

You honestly didn’t, but Aizawa didn’t need to know that as you nodded your head. Your body was quickly becoming hotter as he straightened out. And your eyes fluttered shut as you felt his lips press gently against yours. Your heartbeat roaring in your ears as he did so.

The kiss was short, his lips pressing against yours for less than two seconds. But the warmth that spread through your body made it seem like you had taken a shot.

He pulled away, and you felt breathless as you opened your eyes.

The shrieks coming inside made you realize that many people were watching on. You flush as you see them all cheering, now invested in their happiness for you and Aizawa. You turned your blushing gaze to Aizawa who looked… sad?

“Aizawa, I…” You trailed off, it was now or never. “I have to confess something, I–” 

“Please don’t finish that sentence, y/l/n,” Aizawa whispers, and your throat tightens at those words. 

“W-What?” 

“I know you have feelings for me.” 

And you can feel your heart slowly being consumed by the frost of the outside air.

“I can’t…” Aizawa trails off, “I can’t accept them, I’m sorry.” 

Hot, bitter tears well up in your eyes as you stare at him, unable to come up with words. “S-So, you… you ask to kiss me… under the mistletoe, knowing full well that I have feelings… and you reject me, still?” You splutter, your mind unable to make sense of this situation as tears roll down your face. You can feel them freezing against your simmering cheeks as you raise your gaze to Aizawa. Aizawa who, for the first time ever, seems at a loss of words.

“I’m sorry, y/l/n.” 

You shake your head, a choking sound escaping your lips as you shove the jacket off your body. Tossing it to the ground as you curse him through gritted, humiliated teeth. You don’t even hear him call out your name. His capturing weapon missing your wrist as you storm into the house. You slam the door with all the strength of the Pro-Hero in you.

Nemuri and Hizashi are at your side immediately as you walk in. They were imitating kissing sounds like a bunch of middle schoolers.

“You both were wrong,” You pant, feeling as if the world was caving in on you. “He doesn’t like me back. I’m going to leave.” 

You were out the front door the second Aizawa entered the back door. Although not everyone was still there, everyone stared at him with disappointed eyes.

“You fucked up big time, Aizawa…”

You groaned as Hizashi smacked another kiss onto your lip that night.

Your dork of a husband had gone out of his way to buy a Christmas hat with a piece of mistletoe on it. He was now deliberately using it to kiss you whenever he wanted despite the company you had over.

Setting up the table? 

“Oh my, watch out y/n, I’m falling over on top of you?! IS THAT MISTLETOE?!”

It was cute, don’t get it wrong! Yet your face had turned twenty shades of red and you were not happy to be this red in front of company.

So you were doing everything you could to avoid being yet another kiss steal from Hizashi. Because if he kissed you anymore, you were going to faint. Mixing yourself a drink, you walked back over to where Hizashi and his coworkers sat. Everyone was talking about what they aimed to do with the month they had off in March. Once school was out, of course.

You noticed that the hat was finally off Hizashi’s head, but you still sat across from him in the hope he wouldn’t put it back on. He wouldn't try to make out with you in front of his friends. But the kisses alone were embarrassing!

The night continued smoothly as everyone stayed in the comfort of your home. Everyone chatting away while playing board games you and Hizashi had in the house. Of course, when it got particularly rowdy, those U.A. alumni were some of the most competitive people ever. Hizashi would break out his quirk. Making Aizawa use his quirk. Making Nemuri rip her clothes. Making Cementoss build a wall in your living room to stop the horrible loud yells of your husband.

Every time it happened you couldn’t help but laugh, everyone was so funny in your opinion.

But as the night got later, everyone was getting a bit drunker…

“Who’s the least flustered out of everyone here, we know the most is y/n!” Nemuri slurred as everyone tried to make a mental note of who the least flustered person was. 

You were cuddled up into Hizashi’s side, blushing because they definitely weren’t wrong.

“I am!” Hizashi announced a proud smirk on his face. “I only pretend to be flustered so people think I’m just like them!” 

It must’ve been the alcohol in your system because you let out a laugh as you shook your head in disagreement. Unfortunately, it seemed that everyone actually agreed with your eccentric husband’s opinion.

“I can fluster you without a problem!” You laugh, oh yeah, it was definitely the alcohol speaking. 

“Prove it!” Nemuri squealed, her eyes materializing hearts as she stared expectantly at you two. Chants went around the room, and you stood up. Placing the mistletoe hat back onto your husband’s head who was now looking at you with traces of a blush on his cheeks.

You grabbed him by the collar and pulled him in for a kiss.

You couldn’t even hear the whoops of laughter and cheering from your drunk friends as your lips fervently pressed against Hizashi’s. Your tongue slipping into his mouth. The taste of bitter alcohol was evident in his mouth as your tongue swiped at his. You swallowed the shaky gasp that escaped his lips as your tongue traced the roof of his mouth before pulling away panting.

Hizashi was blushing redder then you had all night.

Question! So I’ve noticed that you and a lot of others have been saying stuff about the months leading up to TLJ. I wasn’t into Star Wars at that time, so I was just wondering, what was it like? Was there a lot of content being released, was there a lot of crazy speculation and such? Was there a lot of reylo content in promos and pictures and such?

And for anyone who’s reading who remembers, this is going to be long, and I’m going to miss things (I’m certain I missed some gates) because I’m just going from memory and old posts from when I wasn’t as militant about tagging (hah), so feel free to chime in if you have any other memories. Also, this took forever to compile lol.

Unofficially, we had shots from Ireland (2016) and second-hand gossip from locals about Daisy, Mark, and Adam filming in Ireland (and lots of people screeching about how the only reason KR would be with those two would be so they could team up and murder them).

But then the conversation started to shift, and we got info that wasn’t from the reylo fandom regarding their “interesting relationship,” though we were always there, saying the exact same thing.

This podcast and breakdown in the comments from May 2016 really highlights when things started to shift for our space kids (and confirmed a lot about what people had been theorizing/writing meta about, etc). We weren’t pulling things out of our asses and we were not wrong for seeing what we were seeing. It’s also a really great snapshot of what the discussion on Tumblr was like back then. Lots of great minds and fun times, as far as I am concerned.

And then there was a very long wait for 2017, when things started to shift even more.

It was pretty much radio silence concerning Kylo Ren (officially) right up until the second trailer (the first only showed him for a split second). Boxartgate happened earlier in the year. (February) when the marketing started to come out for TLJ and Kylo wasn’t on any of it (nevermind that only his mask was on the TFA packaging, but when you’re grasping at straws for reasons why the “Skywalker of the trilogy” isn’t important... I guess you’ll take what you can get).The Reylo fandom guessed (correctly) that he was basically a walking spoiler (which other sections of the fandom guessed, incorrectly, that he was irrelevant to the story and that’s why he wasn’t showing up much N O P E). 

SW Celebration happened in April 2016, and that trailer, combined with the super, SUPER amazing poster dropped:

Oh and Eric Maell’s super Reylo-tastic, officially licensed SWC poster that was available for sale at SWC (yeah, we all lost it here too). The whole thread is funny and read through to where Eric’s signature pops up on the poster.

And then we collectively lost our damn minds when the trailer dropped in October. If you’d like a trip, head into my archive and look for like October 2017 and you’ll get a pretty good idea of what that looked like lol.

It’s so damn good, I just watched it again and it STILL brings tears to my eyes. Avoid the comment section LOL. 

And then came the: “It’S NOT KYLO’S HAND, IT’S HU//X’S FI//NN’S LU//KE’S ANYONE BUT KYLO REACHING OUT TO HER.” SNOKE ISn’T TALKING ABOUT KYLO. (handgate)

As if we, a collective group of Adam stans, WOULD EVER mistake his hand for another. GET GOOD, Anne.

HE’S NOT LOOKING AT REY. HE’S LOOKING AT.... fill in the blank. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA No. We know what he looks like when he looks at Rey. 

Like, I didn’t spend 2 fucking years staring at screen shots like a maniac to NOT be able to see things for what they really are. I mean, the look he gives her when she pulls that saber from the ground on Starkiller? I WISH I could find a gif because it’s classic, “Holy shit, I think I’m in love, but I’m pretty sure she wants to murder me.” HAH Oh Enemies to Lovers, you’re such a riot.

But up until that point there was NOTHING. I’m pretty sure box gate happened somewhere in there, but then the marketing really started getting going and we got fed so fucking well it was almost too much because we’d had so little to go on up until that point that it was just like, “Is this real life? Am I making too much of this? Or are they really playing up the Kylo Ren/Rey angle in this marketing?”

October 31, 2017, we got this GREAT article from V where Adam interviewed Daisy.

AD Is there an aspect of working on Star Wars—it could be anything from the light saber battles, the travel, the catering, to getting to see me every day and do my hair—that was your favorite part?

DR I don’t know if I’ve ever properly thought about it. I love coming into the makeup trailer—everyone is there, you say good morning, and you get a little cuddle from people...I just really liked being part of something where you’re one of a whole. When filming, you’re always part of a thing. Becoming besties with you was the best thing.

AD That’s a lie, but we will make sure that’s printed.

The whole interview is really sweet and a really lovely read. Also, got some really adorable fanart of Rey doing Kylo’s hair around that time, which was super awesome.

There was some drama about Rian saying there’s “no romance in EPIX” which obviously wasn’t the case and he was misquoted anyways. Which is a good reminder not to freak the fuck out over everything, just because it seems like it’s going one way (or someone’s pushing their own thoughts and opinions onto paper in an interview). At any rate, Rian’s a big ole Romantic, so we know how it all goes in TLJ. (Romancegate)

This article talking about “the fallen son” and whether Kylo could be redeemed came out in Nov 2017 (which was LOL considering how much of the general fandom had convinced themselves this movie would be about Rey hunting down and murdering Kylo), which had this super quote from Rian:

“But I don’t think it’s very interesting if the whole story is just ‘Will Kylo get his comeuppance?’ He’s a more complicated character than that and I think he deserves a more complicated story than that. I don’t see the point of trying to get behind his mask and learn more about him if all we’re going to learn is ‘Yeah, he’s just an evil bad guy that needs to be killed.’” -Rian Johnson  

This amazing character flowchart that was marketed in Korea to show the relationships in Star Wars (it’s official, and if you’re at all familiar with kdrama’s, you’ll probably understand why half of the fandom lost their shit lol).

This post/podcast from the starwarsconnection also has a pretty great breakdown of what was going on at the time and also shows some of the kid’s toys (specifically, the Reylo dolls that were sold as a set, though there are a FEW sets of Reylo figures, this one was specifically marketed to girls as a part of the Forces of Destiny series, which I really miss).

I’m sure there’s more, but basically the movie came out and the rest is history haha. This article talking about how horny TLJ is still makes me laugh.

2. Kylo and Rey’s whole thingMany weirdos shipped these two characters after The Force Awakens, and now I kinda get it. Kylo and Rey never make out, but they still share The Last Jedi’s sexiest scenes as well as a telepathic connection fostered by sinister voyeur Snoke, the galaxy’s mightiest cuck. And how about that moment where Kylo kills his mentor — it’s always hot when a space goth murders a lazy magician — and then flips sides with Rey to kill off a straggling crew of ruby-red stormtroopers? If watching seven seasons of Buffy has taught me anything, it’s that there is no sex sign more unequivocal than teaming up with your sworn enemy to throw stage punches.

It was a special day for you today. You were sitting in front of Jin’s parents, getting to know them. It had already been 7 months of you both dating and Jin so desperately wanted you to meet his parents. And so you were dressed in one of your prettiest and cutest dress and ready to meet his parents. You were obviously nervous but also excited to know the people who gave birth to such a beautiful and perfect man.

All of you were seated on a  rectangular table with Jin besides you on your right, while his parents were right in front of you both. The conversations were going on smoothly and you were all having fun, with Jin cracking his dad jokes in between. 

The conversations had become a little quieter and chilled out and there was a comfortable peace on the table. It was at that time you felt your nose tingle and just a second later you sneezed. Now, even though you were a girl with a small frame your sneeze was one of the loudest, and this time it was no different. It was loud and embarrassing and everyone’s eyes were on you, rounded in shock. 

Jin would be the first one to laugh his famous windshield laughter while his parents too start chuckling. “Oh my God Y/n, can your sneezes get anymore louder?” He asked continuing to laugh.

It was late at night around 1:00 am and you were going through your social media. Your boyfriend, Yoongi was sleeping besides you. Actually you were supposed to be asleep too, according to Yoongi’s order, but you couldn’t sleep, so you decided to check your phone. 

And even though you knew very well if Yoongi woke up i=he would be very mad and normally you are very scared of a mad Yoongi but today you found the courage to rebel against him.

“Shit,” You cursed under your breath as the phone fell on your face, hurting your nose. What was worst, was you heard movement besides you and the light flooded in the room.

“Y/n, what the hell!! That scared me! ” Yoongi said, his voice sleepy and irritated. You picked up your phone that slipped from your hands and faced a very pissed looking Yoongi. “What were you up to?”

“Uh-uh I was just going to sleep,” You stammered, gulping. You gasped and frowned when your phone was snatched from your hands. 

“Its 1:00 in the morning, Y/n! I told you to go to bed by 11! Were you doing this the whole time?”

“Ye-yeah,” You whispered. “I am sorry,” You smiled the most innocent guilty smile you could muster and activating your puppy eyes. 

“You have work tomorrow Y/n, and then you complain about being tired.” Yoongi sighed already melting a little at the sight of your face.

“I am sorry! I promise I won’t do this again.”

“You better not,” Yoongi warned. “By the way, your sleeps keep getting louder and louder.” 

“So? What about it?” You asked a little embarassed.

At that moment the music got faster and scarier and the female in the movie was moving towards a scary looking door to a scary room. And just then as she was opening the door, before you knew you sneezed. LOUD AND CLEAR, almost like a man’s sneeze. 

“AHHHH!” You were shocked when you saw you boyfriend scream at the top of his tongue and moved away from you, falling from the couch in the process. 

“Hoseok!” You gasped. “Are you okay?”

“What the heck Y/n!!!!” Hoseok exclaimed standing up. “You scared me!! Shit you scared me bad! How can such a small female like you have such a big and loud sneeze?!” 

“Hey!” You huffed, a little offended by the way he spoke.

This has been going on for about over a month. Both of you fight a lot especially this past week. And you know the reason was the stupid cold you were suffering from and how Namjoon didn’t even bother to ask even once how you were doing.

“I know you are busy, but, you can give me five minutes of your day right?” You sighed, saddened. “You don’t even greet these days. Come home late and leave early, hardly talk. Is this how you show your love for me?”

“Well I am sorry I did that,” Namjoon answered sarcastically. “I thought you would rather let me sleep and rest so that i don’t get sick.”

Before you could answer, your nose tickled, yet again for the nth time that day and before you could stop it a loud sneeze left your mouth leaving both you and him shook. “Look I don’t have the power to fight right now,” you sighed as you scrunched your nose trying to stop it from burning.

“You have a cold,” realization hit Namjoon and you rolled your eyes. “why didn’t you tell me?”

“If only you let me, tell you,” You retorted.

“Shit,” Namjoon cursed as he moved closer to you. “I am so sorry babes.”

“it’s okay, just next time, at least spend a little time with me. 5 minutes is only what I ask, Joonie.”

“I know and I promise I will give you that” Namjoon smiled. “But Y/n, how do you have a sneeze louder than a man?”

“Namjoon!”

“What? Its true,” He laughed.

“It is not!”

“You have a sneeze louder than Taehyung, Y/n,” Namjoon laughed and you blushed in embarrassment. 

“So what if it is?” You asked, offended.

“Nothing, its just so funny and cute, I always am left shook,” He winked. “Now let’s go to the doctor, or else I will have to keep laughing.”

“Haha,” You mock laughed. “Very funny.”

“Yes very,” Namjoon laughed and you just huffed.

Park Jimin:-

You and Jimin were in the dance studio, where you were watching him dance. You always loved watching him dance and today was a special day you could do it. And he especially got ready for it because you were down with a cold and wanted someone to cheer you up.

He was dancing on lost, one of your favorite thing to watch anytime any day. You just adored watching it. He was on your favorite part of the song, when you felt the same sensation of the sneeze coming. Jimin’s eyes widened as he watched you mouth open to sneeze and he expected the loud noise of your sneeze coming but unfortunately it never came. It was one of those annoying sneezes which never came just gave you the feel of coming.

Jimin smiled in relief and continued to dance, and just as he turned to do a step, a VERY loud sneeze left your mouth. And the next thing you saw was Jimin slipping in shock and falling on his butt on the floor. “Shit,” You cursed as you got up and ran towards him, trying hard not to laugh at him..

“Ahh, Y/n,” He groaned. “Your sneeze really scared me!!”

“I am sorry,” You smiled apologetically, holding back the chuckles threatening to escape..

“How is it even so loud?” He asked as he sat up straighter and turned off the music with the remote control.

“How are you always so surprised and scared of it?” You retorted.

“Well you sneezed so suddenly and its not exactly low, so it is scary!!” Jimin replied back. “Also it always surprises me so much.”

“What the hell,” You mumbled. “I never thought a man would get scared of a sneeze.”

“Any man would get scared of that loud sneeze.” Jimin replied and you scowled.

“I am not talking to you,” You huffed as you turned around.

“Sorryyyyyy, to be honest I find them so cute afterwards” Jimin smiled his adorable puppy smile and your heart immediately melted. “By the way, let’s o get your medicine.”

Kim Taehyung:-

“Ah! What a save,” You said as you pressed the buttons on your remote control and controlled the character in the video game. You were just about to lose, but your amazing game skills saved you.

“Not gonna last for long though,” Taehyung smirked. “You are soon gonna lose.”

“Keep on dreaming. I am surely gonna win this round.”

“Aren’t you saying that for like last 5 rounds?” Taehyung teased. 

You huffed. “This time, I really will,” You declared determinedly.

But just as you said that, your nose started tickling and the urge to cover your nose and mouth kicked in but you ignored it and focused on your game.

And just after few seconds, you sneezed, loud and clear shaking yourself and even your boyfriend besides you. “Ah!” Taehyung screamed and started laughing as both the characters died due to your sneeze.

“Y/N!!” Taehyung shouted and stood up trying to look upset fighting the amused smile threatening to appear on his face.

“What?! Even I lost!” You retorted.

“Then why did you have to sneeze so loud?” Taehyung asked sitting back down a and letting chuckles he was holding escape. “It’s just so damn funny.”

“Don’t laugh,” you sighed. “I really wanted to win.”

“So you should keep your sneezes low.”

“Talking the guy who has one of the loudest sneeze I know.”

“Well I am man, obviously I will have a loud sneeze,” Taehyung countered smirking trying to look cool but turning out to be adorable. “You are girl and that too so small and then you sneeze so loud, always surprises and shocks me.”

“Well not like I can change that!” You rolled your eyes.

“I know,” Taehyung smiled. “I like your sneeze actually. We match better! So let’s not change! And then let’s sneeze together to scare people.”

“What are you even saying,” You laughed as you hugged him totally surprised by his cuteness. “Our conversation doesn’t even make sense.”

Jeon Jungkook:-

It was kind of a cold day, with cold wind blowing. But you loved winters, so you and your boyfriend, Jungkook were out for a walk till the park. 

“Aren’t you cold?” Jungkook asked as he slid his hands deeper into his jacket.

“I am,” You replied, your cheeks getting rosier as you smiled, “But I like cold weaather.”

“I am worried you will catch cold,” Jungkook sighed as you both continued walking. 

“I won’t,” You waved his concern off and skipped towards the park. There were really few people and you liked it that way. Another reason to like winter. 

It was 5 minutes after entering the park that you started to feel the tingling sensations in your nose. And now you were sure that you had caught the cold, and all you could do is get it all out. So you started to sneeze. But the problem was, your sneezes were loud and continuous.

You sneezed 6 loud times continuously. “Y/n,” Jungkook laughed as he looked at you flushed face as you tried to catch your breath. “I knew you sneezed loud but like this? 6 time is a row?”

“Yah! Jeon Jungkook!” You tried to say but another sneeze interrupter you and followed another sneeze. “Shit!”

“I told you not to come out!” Jungkook said between his laugh. “Damn that was so meme worthy! If only I recorded it!”

“I thought you were worried about me,” You huffed.

“I am,” Jungkook laughed. 

“You don’t look like it.”

“But your sneezes, they are so funny! Such a short little girl sneezing o loud and so many times, its so damn funny!”

“They are annoying!”

“They are equally fun! Makes me want to record you and show it you to show how cute and funny you look.” 

“Ah my nose still tickles,” You complained as you rubbed your nose.

“Oh I should keep my camera ready then! I will show everyone that you sneeze as loud as V hyung!”

“Yah!”

“Ok ok sorry!” Jungkook laughed. “Let’s go home and get you some cold medicines. And next time listen to me.”

“As if, I will listen,” You smirked and started running as soon as you said that, with Jungkook chasing you.

Just to get out of my system #1

Do you ever feel like you want somebody to hear your thoughts? Like a terrible need to confess though you haven't really done anything wrong. I just have to write this and post it here, probably will delete it after (can you even delete Tumblr posts?), but just the sheer knowledge that half a person will see this text (you don’t need to read it) makes me feel better. Sort of, I want to socialise and avoid socialising at the same time. 

So, most important things first - you do not need to read it, acknowledge it or comment on it. These are just words that fill my chest up to the point where I can barely breathe and start just talk-talk-talk to myself, or to people around me. It’s like a weird Tourette’s, where I can’t stop, and I won’t be able to do anything until I finish it. Say it. Even if nobody would hear it. A closure. 

Once again - stop right here, unless you want to dive in into petty anxieties and pointless worries. And complaining, loads of complaining. 

I hate my job and a town I live in. As any young idiot, I have always kinda hated the places I lived at. Its not that I thought I deserved any better, its just I would listen to classmates or neighbours, see their houses, watch films, and realise that I am, pretty much, worse than them. I remember the times when I would compare myself to everyone and see that e-v-e-r-y-o-n-e is better than small and useless me. Better artists, better performers, better mathematicians, better at languages, at PE, at socialising, at getting to places. More beautiful than me. There has always been a place, like a Wonderland, basically “the Betterland” (cringe I know), where everyone was, and I was forgotten. Long story short, I moved multiple times, and ended up here. What is this place? An absolute disaster. I am very nature-oriented person, and there’s no forests or parks. There’s no rivers or sea either. No beautiful places. It’s just and industrial working town, surrounded by terrible grey fields. I haven’t got any DL yet, but I am on my way of getting it. I suffer here. An outgoing person years before, I get anxious before getting out of my room. I need freedom, and this town destroyed it. Only one year left, and I am going away. I do not care where, just somewhere with forest and sea. And the workplace... A lot of responsibility. A lot of important conversations and being “proper” towards people. I can’t be around people, I always behave like an idiot. But this job is my only chance. Christ, I am afraid of getting back after the lockdown, I will not cut it. 

Can’t make any friends, don’t know how to. Never in my life I knew anyone who would socialise with me because they like me or think I am funny. As a matter of fact, I am most definitely unfunny, boring and fail to establish a human-like (empathetic I guess?) relationship with people. Some would think it is weird, and, well, they will be absolutely right. I do not know if I need friends, but sometimes I think... it would have been nice, right? To socialise with someone (not romantically), talk about bullshit, and just be friends. Share weird situations, secrets, and generally fun stuff. Be fans of something together. I don’t know, maybe I have a strange understanding of how friendships work, but I’d like that kind of person. My partner has friends, and I am kinda jealous because I want to have them too. But I am always getting ghosted, ignored or just... well, “a classmate\colleague” and no more than that. People say I talk a lot, and generally am weird - maybe that’s the reason? People feel like I am a freak and an outcast and they don’t want to be around me? I don’t know. I don’t know how to become friends with people, I do not know what is the difference between a close friend and an acquaintance. I will tell them both same thing, and I will hide same things from them two. Never have I managed to get along with someone who would think “wow, RaginReptile is so amazing, let’s be friends!”, people mostly tell me that I am weird. And talk a lot. I am so scared to admit that I hit the point when communicating turned into the unnecessary activity, I prefer to be by myself and talk to myself, do things on my own. So scared. Don’t know which one I want more, have friends or be ascetic. 

Can’t do any more of studying. I said it. Finally. Five years is more than enough, I went from fascination for the subject to absolute hate. I can’t stand the assignments, can’t stand “another cool idea”, no more grades, no more pass criteria, all I want to do is write my own scripts and sell them, but how can I do so if all I manage to think about is deadlines-college-call-work-deadline-money? And those college assignments do not seem to make sense either, I just do not want to do them anymore, I wish to carry on with my own thing. But it would be stupid to quit - I got into student debt, moved from my home country for this education, and didn't even finish school there, just quit in 10 (out of 12) year to go straight to college and upgrade there from Level 2 to Level 5 (Level 6 if Bachelors degree, it is after this year). And, being so close to the end, I realise that I cannot do it anymore. I have so much respect for my tutor, but myself I am... tired. I think I completely destroyed my mental health because of juggling studies, work and family troubles, and moving. If two years ago I cared about my grades and my future, now I am just trying not to sleep 70 hours per day.

Suspecting ADHD and am afraid to go to the doctor’s. I am afraid that it will forbid me from driving (though I do not have any problems with it, lol, just anxious that I will be restricted from it), and I am afraid my family will think of me as of a weak and useless person who can’t take care about themselves. I have been taking care about myself as much as I could. I looked online for the “home” treatments for ADHD (I already checked the symptoms and as far as I am concerned it fits, but it would be a subject for some other post, really), and it worked up to a couple years ago, when college kicked me so hard I had my first public proper nervous breakdown and I have never got well again. Actually, there are much more problems now - for example I hate, hate-hate-hate making decisions, if before I could have forced myself, now I am willing to let everything go and just fail, I won’t feel neither good or bad about it. Sometimes I feel like I am alien to my own body. So many thoughts in this pumpkin-head, everyday I feel like a completely new and different person, and it just circulates in my mind, every day of every week. I think I need to get my head checked, haha, but I know I will not trust a doctor, I’ve seen enough of them and most of them are such an utter dog shite. Well, tomorrow will be another day, ain’t it?

Tired of fighting. “Forcing myself is the best tactics ever” was my working motto for most of my life. Force through reading, watching, walking, organising, planning, doing what I liked and didn't like. It worked up until the events I described earlier. I don't know how to get back on track with my life. How to get back and start again, be cool and happy and beautiful once again. Just wanna breathe some sea air and... Well, what else do I need?

I love this headcanon???? But also consider, if his boyfriend is Kaminari, Sero’s hair is always super staticky once he’s stopped petting it. Like, his hair just sticks in every direction, it looks super funny. Or, his boyfriend is Bakugou (or his girlfriend is Mina! same scenario plays out) and Sero has to wash his hair after Bakugou/Mina is done because their hands are dangerous and having flammable hair isn’t much fun, Neither is having acid very slowly corroding his scalp Poor boy, three out of four of my fav partners for him are dangerous for his hair haha

You’re not the only one!! That’s one of my favorite things out of bnha and also one of the reasons why I’m such a fan of the adults of the series - not all of them, but most of the guardians have a great grasp on what they should expect out of kids and what they can ask of them and what they should instead keep them away from, which I appreciate a lot. And some of them (Aizawa, Toshinori from some point on, Bakugou’s parents, Fatgum to say some) have a great understanding of the kids they’re responsible for and make decisions based on what’s right while at the same time accomodating the kids’ aspirations and dreams, which is super amazing because it doesn’t negate the fact that even if they’re just kids they’re still people, you know? They talk to them and understand them and act as guardians without clipping their wings, you never see this sort of things in media tbh so I appreciate it a lot

Yeah I’m sure that’s how it went! Well, I was about to say that maybe even if Izuku hadn’t been the last one Aizawa would have let the last one stay anyway since 1A is a pretty impressive class, but the 19th place was Mineta that time so honestly who knows. Maybe we were one step away from not having Mineta in the class and Izuku ruined it for us. Who knows. (lol)

Oh my god I know so many but a bunch of friends and I were celebrating midsummer and we had this wooden cross which we’d decorate with branches and flowers and one of my friends (he’s got long wavy hair) stole my flower crown and carried that cross halfway home through half of the town we live in and it was like half past 1 in the morning and the people on the streets were shouting ‘oh my god it’s Jesus’ all the time and that was freaking hilarious
