Yesterday I was on flower duty for a service and our decedent had a million vases around their casket and so I had to do a million squats multiple times as we moved them from the visitation room to the chapel to the gravesite and it was incredibly windy which knocked over the vases (and standing sprays) several times so many squats and kneelings occured there especially and good god my fucking thighs today. Lord have mercy
#for the initiated a standing spray is a large flower arrangement (called a spray) fixed to a tripod stand#it was so windy that even stabbing the legs of the stands into the ground was not keeping them up

I’m moving into a new place and she has been helping and the way I have been dealing with this is declaring loudly every so often that it is time for my union break
