In a Shadow, In a Storm (redone)

In a shadow, in a storm that calls to me in the blackness of the late-night hour and through the darkness it brings I can still see a small sliver of hope. Soft, bright and warm, a welcome captured by a welcoming embrace, like a hug from a childhood memory, comforting, peaceful and safe, given with a grace not deserved.

Through the troubled rippling waters and life obstacles and challenges, a reminder of how easily it is to get put in reversed so many times. Turned down the path opposite of the passion and truth within.

But with His will, My life and the lives of others are blessed. Each hour learning. Each day growing. Each year taking new steps into becoming and evolving into a virtuous person.

  With His grace, sacrifice and His Son’s love we will find a place to belong, a better way to get there, and a voice that can be heard in a shadow, in a storm.
