Coming back after being almost a week without electricity, phone, and internet connection. Huge storms with lightning and rain, and winds. We have never have winds like that here and the roof of so many houses were ripped off, stuff flying, etc. All this bc global warming, and the deforestation and mining in our lands. At this rate, in 5 years we will have tornadoes, a thing we have never ever have here. Nor our lands, infrastructures, states, and culture are prepared for this. Areas of the country are devastated, ppl have died, many are without electricity nor Internet connection so they are isolated. The houses are flooding with water, and the ones that not, are leaking from the ceiling. Too many neighbours and compatriots don't have roofs and the streets are full of fallen trees and pieces of roof material, no electricity, no signal, food rotting, but suffering at the same time for the cold of this terrible winter, and trying to do something, patching even when its gonna go to hell when the storm comes again this next days. More than 33,200 people affected and 41,500 isolated due to 5 days of rain and windstorms. In just a couple of days there were 170,000 homes left without power due to wind and rainstorms and even more as time went by.

If u want to help me to fix the roof, walls, to buy food and being warm this winter please check my PayPal. If u can't donate, please reblog bc thats the only way to make this being seen by ppl thus receiving help. I'm really not being able to keep living like this, i can no longer cope, so please share.
Here are in my PayPal or MACH . I took the kofi link bc they were charging me a fee.
Please, educate about global warming and the effects on Global South, specially for working class, chronically ill, autistic, disable, and long covid survivor ppl like myself.
Edit: I added links and pics
Edit: the weather is better (is finally spring at this current date 24th nov), but I still need to fix were I live/sleep bc the walls are broken and one of the walls is not a wall, but like 1cm wide stuff and all was bad build so even the door is twisted and dont work correctly, there is black mold that i think is damaging my ears, the paint is falling, the lamp has fallen, everything is broken and ugly, etc. I still need to buy food, meds, and everything so please, please, share or donate if you could. I don't want to survive like this and here, no one mask even when they were the ones giving me covid and they have making me also catch flu the other day bc they cogh over everything and don't care if they kill me, they are abusive and really violent people and are working to put me and everyone in danger. I dont even want to be in my country bc we will have a dictatorship soon, but I have nowhere else to go nor money to migrate (i need like $10.537 dollars or € 9.760,95 euros to pay all the documents, the bank money I have to show to prove I am a human being deserver of rights, the tickets, rent money and stuff to migrate).
I currently (date 14 Jan 2025) have $100 dollars donated (coz i spent 40 in food and meds this past month)
I know i will die here, but at least help me to survive in a less dehumanising way.
Edit: tumblr has blocked me from recive or send messages from the chat and comment of posts, so if you are trying to reach throughout there I can't see it, sorry, I'm cut from any communication (cant even see past messages from chat or asks), except send asks. I'm waiting that tumblr do something, but still hasn't even answered the help file I sent to them.

The mixture of furniture styles, materials and textures is all pulled together by a coordinated color scheme of muted earth tones. The rich upholstery fabrics and area rugs are cleverly balanced by painted white walls and dark wood tones of the floor and window shutters.

US Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has received an onslaught of criticism from anti-Israel progressives over her decision to vote in favor of a resolution “condemning the rise of global antisemitism.” On Wednesday, Ocasio-Cortez supported House Resolution 1449, which affirms the State Department-endorsed “global guidelines for countering antisemitism.” The resolution passed the House by a 388-21 margin.  Ocasio-Cortez, who commonly goes by the nickname “AOC,” voted opposite three fellow members of the so-called “Squad” — a cohort of progressive Democrats with left-wing positions on issues ranging from foreign policy to economics. Reps. Cori Bush (D-MO), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), and Ilhan Omar (D-MN) — all stalwart anti-Israel voices in Congress — voted against the resolution, along with a handful of Republicans. In the face of progressive backlash, Ocasio-Cortez took to Bluesky, a social media website, to explain her decision to vote in favor of the resolution. She implored her followers to “read the text of this bill and emphasized that it is not “an IHRA bill.” The left-wing congresswoman clarified that she would “NEVER vote for codifying IHRA.” She added that a “subclause references a separate [State Department] guideline which noncomittally references IHRA” and that it is “nonbinding.” The congresswoman minimized the bill as a right-wing attempt “to get the left infighting.”
AOC doesn't hate Jews enough to please her followers.

Thousands took to the streets in cities including Madrid and Barcelona in demonstrations organised by housing activists and backed by Spain's main labour unions. In Madrid, more than 150,000 protesters marched through the capital's centre, according to the local tenants' union. People rattled keys as they walked through the city's streets, while some held up signs against short-term rentals and chanted: "Get Airbnb out of our neighbourhoods."

My Spanish lacks the proficiency of Markle's so some of this was lost in translation. No matter because Joan Callarissa still managed to expose MEgain & Sparry's fakery in every language.
A delicious megflop REVIEW. Chef's Kiss 😘
Five years after their escape from the palace, Meghan's Netflix series shows that they have become little more than two international clowns to be mocked on social media.
Tumblr media
Llegir en Català|Leer en castellano BARCELONA
When the Sussexes decided to flee to the spirit of Buckingham, public opinion was sharply divided. There was no common ground between those in
favor of the runaway marriage and those in favor of the rest of Windsor. Both inside and outside the United Kingdom, the weight of both sides was very evenly matched, something that never usually happens because the British royal family always plays with a significant advantage. But the susexito –as the farewell of Enric and Meghan Markle was then called– had been very erosive for the royal family in terms of public opinion. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had suddenly created so many opponents of the Windsors that there were even people who thought it was the biggest crisis in the British monarchy since King Edward VIII abdicated for love, married Wallis Simpson and he went away to live in Paris.
Harry and Meghan garnered so much popular support by announcing they couldn't stand palace life that some believed the British royal family would never recover from the miseries the couple would explain once they left. Although somewhat exaggerated, those fears actually had some basis at the time, since the Sussexes had made the right decision at the right time and had all the winds in their sails. They had managed to play the victim, lead the narrative, become bearers of truth against the dark conspiracies of the palace, and, above all, they had reaped the full benefit of appearing to be a modern family, infinitely more aspirational than the rest of the Windsors combined. January 18 marked five years since that moment, and of all that popular capital the Sussexes had, they have nothing left. Or practically nothing.
A Farce
A sample of their decline has been given by the last project they have signed, Cone love, Meghan, in which she appears alone but is clearly the work of both of them. This eight-part Netflix series shows how the retired actress invites people over and organizes activities. eco-friendly, child-friendly, health-friendly, dog-friendly and, above all, avorrifriendly. So much so that twelve days after its premiere, the pseudo-documentary has received nothing but negative reviews on every possible platform where a format can be criticized. Parodies on networks like TikTok, destructive tweets, and extremely low ratings from both professional and amateur critics have turned this series into a global laughingstock. Amidst all this negative effervescence, the furious reviews published by the series stand out.
TheTelegraph –"The format is this: Meghan invites people to her fake house and they tell her how incredible she is. And so it goes for eight episodes"– and
Variety –"It was made with a lot of love, meaning love as the greatest love a person can have for themselves."
– Two among many others equally powerful.
But without going into the details of the content, which would only spoil the weekend, it's worth highlighting some things about the format that make no sense when compared to his real life. The first is that it's a blatant scam to present the format as a documentary when in reality, not even the house where it's filmed is his... Even the docureality María Teresa Campos and her daughters used the journalist's house. And Campos wasn't exactly from the era of reality TV. It's clear that in a format of this type, the content is controlled to modulate the image projected of you, but trying to seduce someone when you don't even have the minimum generosity to use your house as a background is disrespectful to the viewer, who will easily feel cheated.
The second misery worth highlighting about Markle's show is its overflowing snobbishness. She and Enric, who left the royal family because they were people who adored a simple life far from the trappings of the palace, now turn out to have their own beehives in the garden to be able to add honey to their recipes, which, on top of that, they have to collect with a beekeeper who comes to them. home To do so. It has also been widely reported that while making dog treats, he specifies on camera that he makes them with filtered water. These exaggerations suggest he's seeking market positioning. healthy obsessive that turns her into Gwyneth Paltrow's heiress. It's a shame it's not possible to take the Guinness record away from Hollywood's Oscar-winning darling. All of this is believable about her. Not about Markle. Besides, this personal branding that someone has devised for the Duchess is ten years late to the market. The thickness of Instagram, currently, loves the smash burgers much more than the flower petals she puts everywhere.
'Tradwife'
Thirdly, it's worth mentioning that the feminist, anti-racist, combative, and critical Meghan who couldn't fit into the palace corset has completely disappeared. If this is a documentary about her life, we must note that she has either abandoned all her struggles—since they are not mentioned at all—or she had only invoked them previously through fake activism. In her show, she is seen only in the role of an upmarket housewife who makes every effort to become a perfect hostess to her visitors. tradwife textbook but dressed like a rich Californian. It's hard to believe that this Meghan can continue to be aspirational for the target who idolized her when she burned the ships with Buckingham.
Finally, there is also an overacting in her positionally sought echo version of the Desperate Housewives from Beverly Hills.
Cooking with gold jewelry that can be seen from London, she betrays the desire to be appreciated as a celebrity first division to position herself as an ideal candidate to announce –on her newly launched Instagram account– any luxury item that is proposed to her in a short time.
This is also evidenced by the very deliberate phrase she says to Mindy Kaling when she goes to visit her your house The actress and comedian is being criticized for referring to her as Meghan Markle when her current "family name is Sussex." If she had told us this five years ago, we would have called it a poison campaign.
Generate rejection as a claim
The product really doesn't work conceptually because Sussex is blatantly pursuing an impossible market positioning. They want to look like a lot of VIPs and much of the people simultaneously, and to do so, they have created a product that makes no sense. They want to be characters premium to sell the brand's products that—oh, surprise!—Markle has just launched at a premium, and at the same time, they want to be straightforward and accessible to show how snotty and insufferable their royal family members are. Unfortunately, they may not achieve either of these goals, and their only option may be to continue making ridiculous televised shows.
However, the series includes enough details that make people feel both infuriated and embarrassed to make plenty of people watch it and then hate it, a very common phenomenon these days when you're paid per view and it doesn't matter whether they watch you out of affection or hatred, because the important thing is that they watch the content. In fact, some of these hateful things they do seem done on purpose.
You can't make a series where cooking plays such a prominent role and cook spaghetti as badly as she does. It can't be a coincidence. Someone with good judgment, seeing that this would be a... egoxou Insufferable, he must have asked him to include elements of edginess so that viewers would at least support him when they criticized him. He can't possibly normalize making ice cubes with water other than tap water so they're clear and putting petals inside them, not knowing that this is an insult to the working classes who watch Netflix.
Markle was one of the 100 most influential people in the world according to the magazine Time in 2018 and also in 2021. After watching the series, this fact seems implausible. But it's easy to understand the reason for his decline. The distance between the Meghan of then and the Meghan of today has only one reason:
the unbreakable will to live without working.
It's better not to talk about Enric, because he sells so little now that he barely appears in the series. After becoming two clowns International pop stars who have only demonstrated their talent by becoming the focus of sterile debates have accepted a new check from Netflix, and there will be a second season. In fact, dancing to the dream of the platform that finances their lives is the only thing they've ended up being good for. On the platform, they'll already be making brainstorming to see how they can make the next installment of the series worse so we'll keep talking about it. They know it's the only way anyone will even look at it. Hoping someone will buy it out of affection for them is a completely lost battle right now."

Like these weekly compilations? Support me on Ko-fi! Also, if you tip me on Ko-fi, at the end of the month I'll send you a link to all of the articles I found but didn't use each week - almost double the content!
1. Translocation of 2,000 rhinos in Africa gets underway in “one of the most audacious conservation efforts of modern times”
Tumblr media
“The 2,000 rhinos - more than are currently found in any single wild location in Africa - represent around 12-15% of the continent’s remaining white rhino population. […] “Rhinos perform an important ecological function in the environment as a large grazing herbivore,” says Dale Wepener[….] “The protection of rhino is far more than just looking after rhino; other species that occur in the protected areas will benefit from the protection,” explains Jooste. “This will lead to an increase in diversity and result in much healthier ecosystems.”
2. Florida Corridor Buffers Effects of Climate Change on Wildlife — And People
Tumblr media
“A massive multi-partner effort that has conserved 10 million acres for wildlife in Florida over past decades will help buffer wildlife—and people—from the effects of climate change, a new report says. […] Protecting these corridors is important for wildlife genetics, demography and connectivity […], conducting prescribed fires in the corridor can reduce the risk of more intense wildfires [… and] they can provide buffers against hurricanes and seasonal thunderstorms.”
3. Global life expectancy to increase by nearly 5 years by 2050 despite geopolitical, metabolic, and environmental threats
“Increases are expected to be largest in countries where life expectancy is lower, contributing to a convergence of increased life expectancy across geographies. The trend is largely driven by public health measures that have prevented and improved survival rates from cardiovascular diseases, COVID-19, and a range of communicable, maternal, neonatal, and nutritional diseases (CMNNs).”
4. Valencia has Spain’s longest urban park
Tumblr media
“Jardin del Turia (Turia Garden) is the green spine of the City of Valencia and Spain’s (and possibly Europe’s) longest urban park stretching for a length of 8.5 kilometres [… and] the current administration plans to make Jardin del Turia Europe’s largest city green space by extending it to the sea[….] Almost all Valencia residents (97 per cent) live within 300 metres of an urban green space. […] Jardin del Turia is a true urban oasis that provides exceptional thermal comfort, with a temperature difference of up to three degrees compared to other areas of the city.”
5. This Paint Could Clean Both Itself and the Air
“When an artificial ultraviolet light source shines on [photocatalytic] paint, the nanoparticles react with pollutants to make them break down—theoretically removing them from the nearby air and preventing a discoloring buildup. [… R]esearchers developed a new photocatalytic paint that they claim works using UV rays from ordinary sunlight, making its self-cleaning properties easier to activate. They’ve also shown that they can effectively produce this paint from recycled materials [including fallen leaves].”
6. Planting Seedlings for a Cooler Rockingham
Tumblr media
“A dedicated group of volunteers recently planted over a thousand native seedlings in Lewington Reserve [… and] re-established canopy cover to areas of the reserve to create cooling shade for the local community and provide homes for native wildlife. […] Planting lots of trees and shrubs in urban areas can help create shade and cool cities, mitigating the impacts of climate change, contributing to biodiversity conservation and building greener, more resilient communities.”
7. Sydney’s first dedicated affordable housing for trans women designed to deliver ‘positive outcomes’
Tumblr media
“Community housing provider and charity Common Equity NSW, […] which is for people on very low to moderate incomes, prides itself on creating inclusive living and promotes the independence and well-being of people and communities […, and] will deliver the first-of-its-kind social housing in a bid to provide a safe place to live for transgender women seeking an affordable home.”
8. Rewilding: How a herd of bison reintroduced to Romania is helping ‘supercharge’ carbon removal
Tumblr media
“170 European Bison reintroduced to Romania’s Țarcu mountains could help capture and store the carbon released by up to 84,000 average US petrol cars each year. […] By grazing a 48 square kilometre area of grassland in a wider landscape of 300 kilometres squared, they helped to capture an additional 54,000 tonnes of carbon each year. That is around 10 times the amount that would be captured by the ecosystem without the bison.”
9. World’s biggest grids could be powered by renewables, with little or no storage
Tumblr media
“[…] 100% renewable supply can then match the load by putting surplus electricity into two kinds of distributed storage worth that [an energy expert] says are worth buying anyway – ice-storage air-conditioning and smart bidirectional charging of electric cars, and recover that energy when needed, filling the last gaps with unobtrusively flexible demand.”
10. Supporting the Long-Term Survival of Copper River Salmon and Alaska Native Traditions
Tumblr media
“With $4.3 million in NOAA funds, the Copper River Watershed Project and The Eyak Corporation will remove fish passage barriers, opening more streams for salmon spawning and subsistence fishing. [… As part of this effort, o]ld narrow culverts that constrict water flow will be replaced with “stream simulation” culverts wide enough to fit the full stream, including its banks. They are also deep to allow contractors to place stones and other material inside to mimic a natural stream bottom.”

Black cousins at the Ministry Gala 1938, 2nd of August
Tumblr media
From left to right: Top line: Cassiopeia Black, Dorea Black (future Potter), Charis Crouch neé Black Bottom line: Lycoris Black, Cedrella Black (future Weasley), Callidora Longbottom neé Black.
Not my picture, it's from pinterest. Not my fancasts, but I just love the vibes this picture is radiating. Plus, the dresses are somewhat historicaly accurate. It's 1950s fashion from what I can tell (I'm not an expert)
«Last time all Black cousins were seen together. Despite the age differences, before that year they were rather close, but after they all walked different paths.»
The very next year (1939) Cedrella will elope with Septimus Weasley and end up burned from the tapestry. Her father Arcturus however, will attend her wedding and gift quite a lot to the newlyweds. Her sister Callidora will never talk to her again, but her sister Charis will stay close, even becoming Arthur Weasley's godmother.
Cedrella will live a life very disconnected with her pre-marriage one, but a happy life nonetheless. Her cousin Dorea and distant niece Lucretia will be with her when she dies in 1979. Charis will not be there only due to her death in 1973.
Lycoris will have a fight with her mother about woman's role, about "not wanting to be a fucking broodmare" as Lycoris herself put it. She would not be disowned, but her relationship with her family will remain cold for the rest of her life, with a few exceptions.
In 1939 Lycoris will open a salon in a house that she bought with her brother Regulus II. It would take a few years, but the "Black Vine Salon" will gain popularity, especially in the potioneer circles. The nature of Lycoris' relationship with one of the salon's visitors, Eustace Prince, are a topic of furious debate among the purebloods.
It's even rumored that Lycoris had a child with Eustace in 1950s. None of the involved give commentary on this.
Callidora will give birth to her second son Albert in 1940. Boy will be, unfortunately, born dead. Broken by the loss, Callidora, along with her husband Harfang Longbottom, will become recluse, growing famous mourning roses in the greenhouses for the rest of their life. Callidora would still keep in touch with her closest cousin Cassiopeia, whom she even named her eldest son after - Cassius Longbottom.
Charis, who lost her daughter Berenice just a few months before, unlike her sister will get more active. Together with her husband Caspar Crouch and Potter family involvement, Charis will shape the future politics of Magical Britain - firmly against Grindelwald's.
Minister for magic of the time, Hector Fawley, did not take Grindelwald's threat to the wizarding world seriously enough and was, as a result, will be forced out from his office by the public. Crouch family will support the next, more proactive Minister, Leonard Spencer-Moon. Rumors often say that Leonard slept with one or both Crouches, but in reality their interest in him was purely political.
Cassiopeia, who never strode far away from the family, will end up in St. Mungo with her mind lost in 1946. Healers would not be able to lift the curse and Cassiopeia will spend the rest of her life in Mungo. Her cousin Callidora and Lady Roanne Lestrange, mother of Rabastan and Rudolphus Lestange, would often visit her there.
Funny enough, several decades later her cousin's grandson Frank Longbottom and his wife Alice will be admitted to the same department with the same symptoms. Only connection between two incidents are the Lestranges' involvement.
Two years from that (1941) Dorea will join the war against Grindelwald, namely the "Resistance", along with her future husband Charlus Potter. As a mental mage, she will be a rather important member of comutications department. She and Charlus will be both present at the series of trials in 1945, all condemning Grindelwald's Acolyts.
However, their and some other Resistance members' involvement in the war will be hidden for the next thirty years due to secrecy protocols. It's theorised that this is because Dorea Potter was a spy in Grindelwalds ranks.
