I hate the way that the media... glamorises Trump. Acts like he's being so cool and exciting, presenting him like some lovable rogue smashing up the norms. He isn't, he's a petty little bully, for all this strongman image. It's not some joke. If it was some comedy from the noughties ago we'd be laughing at the president behaving like a child. It's not actually funny when the real-life leader of a country is behaving like this. The problem is that as too many people see news as entertainment, and so think that having entertainers as politicians is somehow inherently good. As Trump attracts attention the media downplays and sanewashes him, not taking a senile fascist seriously. For people seriously worried that he might invade them, it's not a joke. I live in Britain, a country that he isn't talking about taking over, and I don't find it funny. I don't want a world run by pathetic little bullies like this. The media got us here by normalising it. Don't help them.

Stop acting like he’s a little jokester next to other diplomats who are too serious like this is a 2000s romcom, he has said he’s considered taking over Greenland with military force

The prime minister of Greenland on Thursday criticized the upcoming visit of second lady Usha Vance to the semiautonomous Danish territory, saying the trip “can no longer be described as an innocent visit from a politician’s spouse” amid President Donald Trump’s annexation talk.

National security adviser Mike Waltz and Energy Secretary Chris Wright are also expected to be among the senior members of the Trump administration to travel to Greenland this week.
