do not joke about the advertisements, do not engage with the advertisements in witty fashions, do not, fucking, mention the contents of the advertisements. as soon as an advertisement enters your mind, you kill it, dont care how cute it is, take it out back and shoot it. install adblock, ublock, mute the volume, look away, turn off the monitor, cover your ears, paint over it. evolve your mind, your modality, your instincts, to disregard the stimuli of advertisements before you can even process it. whatever it takes, you do not let them win. and thats an order.

The day we’ve all been waiting for has arrived. Indian Ocean Friday. Since it has been asked about, today’s creature is the flamboyant cuttlefish 💙

Scientific name: Metasepia pfefferi

Status: N/A

Class: Cephalopoda

Population: N/A

Lifespan: 18-24 months

Have they been on Octonauts?: No (there was a cuttlefish, however the species isn’t stated, and it looks like a different kind)

The flamboyant cuttlefish is the only known venomous species of cuttlefish. They are carnivorous, and attack their prey by quickly reaching out with one of their tentacles and quickly striking their target. Their diet mainly consists of small crustaceans and invertebrates. The flamboyant cuttlefish’s skin contains chromatophores that allow them to change colour. They will use this to turn bright colours to threaten predators. It also serves as a warning to predators that they are venomous.
