Quirkless AU where Izuku still tried for UA after meeting All Might and failed miserably.

In their second year, Bakugou runs into Inko at the grocery story and begrudgingly answers her questions about how he’s been. Unprompted, she tells him about Izuku who got into a great high school! And he got some tattoos, haha. But his grades are amazing! He has piercings now and shaved some of his hair off and sometimes he wears eyeliner, hahaha. He’s the top of his class! She found cigarettes in his room! Isn’t that the darndest thing? She cries and Bakugou, more mature than he used to be, reluctantly promises to talk to him. Next day he goes to Izuku’s high school after class and sees Izuku giving a cigarette to a friend. Izuku’s school is one of those “new age” schools that lets students dress how they please and Izuku is decked out like a punk. Bakugou grabs him without preamble and drags him to UA.

Once there, Izuku can’t pass the gates so Bakugou screams at him to stay put and goes in. Izuku sits down on the ground and waits, thoroughly miffed. While he’s waiting, Shouto comes through the gate with Uraraka, Yaoyorozu, and Iida, the latter of which is not happy about this rapscallion sitting in the dirt in front of their school! While Izuku tries to defend himself, Bakugou returns with All Might, who launches into a lecture about the dangers of smoking.

Turns out Izuku doesn’t smoke. His friend does, but her mom steals her cigarettes, so Izuku holds them for her. He brags that she’s been working hard to ween herself off them and is down from six a day to only two. Before leaving, he reminds All Might that they’ve already met before. He thanks Bakugou for worrying in a tone that implies he is not at all thankful.

Sometime during all that Shouto falls in love with him, idk, lol. He’s stricken by this sassy, enchanting beauty.

That’s all I got. I saw a picture on Pinterest and wanted to draw tododeku in the pose, lol. That’s really the long and short of it.

Izuku’s tattoos are the word Deku, a line of empty brackets (or brackets filled with nothing), and two zeroes. They’re all reminders that he shouldn’t have dreams because he’s worthless.
