Q3: How does Kalego shop for stuff? Does he go to the Magical Street? Shop online? Or just call the merchants to his house like the nobility do? A: He shops nobility style. Naberius Clan has their own exclusive merchant. [X]

Q4: Tell us about some happy or fun memory with his brother from when they were children. A: Kalego: We played with… frisbee. [X]

Q5: What does he think about Momonoki? A: Kalego: …? She's an excellent coworker. Though she still didn't shake off her nervousness. She should calm down a little. [X]

Q6: He rarely participates in the drinking parties but is there someone he drinks with occasionally? Like Balam or Dali? A: He drinks with Balam. Sometimes Yamanda joins them. Dali often invites him for a drink but Kalego always refuses so Dali ends up drinking with Otonja. [X]

I CANNOT believe Clara went SO close to eating Iruma, WTAF!!! After everything Kiriwo went through, she was literal inches from doing it?!?! AAAAAAA (kinda laughing tho)

And it was again Asmodeus who saved Iruma!!!

Btw this reminded me all of a sudden that Iruma is a human, unlike everyone else, and one of the premises of the entire story is him not to be found out and eaten... Wow, what a throwback

Also: do you think demons (all of them or just the Valac family) can eat other demons to absorb their power and personhood??? Because Clara eating Iruma to be forever with him wouldn't make much sense if she was to destroy him... But on the other hand, she's totally not clear-headed right now, and the fear of separation may be stronger than her reasoning capabilities...

IF this was true, though, since she thinks Iruma is a demon, maybe it's another aspect of her/their powers...?

And holy cow, I LOVE the chapter's last two pages 😭 the way Asmodeus knew he had to intervene that way because he already went through it...

...and the fact he used Clara's name TWICE after finding out him not using her name bugged her 😭😭😭

It's so cool to see their similarities and differences! Asmodeus chose Iruma's name as safeword, while Clara, having Iruma in front of her, went even further into her wickedness. Also, the use of names!!! Iruma's name is what made Asmodeus come to, while Clara's own name (uttered by Azz) is what is possibly working - see the shape of her pupils, which is no longer a clear heart.

And don't make me start on the first half of the chapter, I was legit crying when the "I'm worried" part started... So relatable ughhhh

man I absolutely love Clara. I've always liked her so much even if she's nothing like me because she's so sweet and kind and full of love. for me, Clara has always been like the sun, shining brightly and exuberantly, a light of its own that's very different from me.

but this chapter was so eye-opening. all of her worries, all of those thoughts she has had are exactly like mine. I can get her desire, the way she's clinging on to them. I really get her, and it's my first time since her introduction that I felt like she's like me.

I'm so happy she has Iruma and Azu. seriously. I have her fears and worries, but I don't have an Azu or Iruma of my own, so I really feel so glad that atleast she does. people who understand her and aren't going to push her away because she clings on tight enough to suffocate them. people who will hold her hands, loosen that chokehold with their love, and stay right there holding on until she gets that they're not going to leave even if she lets go. people who who will stay no matter what.
