NOT wading into american politics discussion IM NOT IM NOT but your basic problem is that no one fucking understands a thing about the economy even slightly. they all voted against the incumbent party bc they had inflation rise during their term, meaning they voted for Mister Tariffs. this is because they do not know what the word tariffs means nor do they know how inflation happens. I know I’m preaching to the choir but please god please please learn about money this is so important. I hate this system too but my GOD if you don’t learn about it You Will Be Scammed By Your Leaders and you won’t know why.

That anon bringing up shapeshifter abilities has me thinking now! Imagine them finding out about these abilities early on and using them to their advantage. Like they're being persued, so they duck into somewhere and change into different people to make the chasers lose their trail. Or that cabin Zack found was occupied by a couple or smth and Zack, uh, "evicted" them, then Zack and Cloud shifted into them and essentially took over their life. The horror movie emements are heating up.

Got back from my trip back down to my old area and it went... really well actually. For all that I hated, hated, HATED living there, during the last 7 years or so I found a community the next town over that was lovely and supportive and wonderfully kind. Some of them have moved away in the time I've been gone, but I had SO much gd fun visiting with everyone still there, watching the renewal of vows, dancing at the reception, getting tons of massive bear hugs and lots of cheek kisses, and I even popped into their church service this morning to visit a bit longer with everyone (hilariously i did not burst into flames or get thrown out). I missed them so much. It's not my faith anymore, and church is no longer my 'place', but my friends there... I'm glad I didn't have to leave them behind, that we all still love each other, that they're all so happy about me being happy and I'm just as happy that they're happy. And some of them said they'd come up to my city to visit! YES. COME TO ME IN THE LAND OF SNOW AND ICE, VISIT ME, LIVE HERE, MOVE HERE, I PROMISE IT'S NOT AS COLD AS YOU THINK.

Also I stopped at my family's favorite hole-in-the-wall bakery before starting home because I'd called ahead for 2 dozen of their speciality chocolate frosted, glazed cinnamon buns, they are as big as your hand, they're the most delicious things I've ever had, the bakery owner lady literally helped me carry all the boxes out to my car, I am going to freeze them and see if me and the fam can't drag out the supply for 6-8 months, I regret nothing.

For real tho health freaks who scream about how sugar and salt will kill us all and try to push for restrictions on things like candy and chips for SNAP recipients or politicians who try from time to time to replace food stamps all together and give out Government Approved Staples like bread and peanut butter and Government Cheese are gonna kill a whole lotta sick and disabled people like

Diabetics

POTS sufferers

Hypotensives

People with peanut allergies

People with celiac disease or wheat allergies

The lactose intolerant

People who can't eat solid food

People who are undernourished for any reason and need all the calories they can pack on

So-called "picky eaters" who can't tolerate certain tastes and textures without getting violently ill

A myriad of other human conditions that cannot be neatly tallied into categories because the human body and human experience is vast and infinitely variable

But I don't think ableds really care about us and our health like they like to claim so they can harass us about it, do you?

Since the weather is getting warmer, I was thinking pool/beach prompts or dialogue with inflation or stuffing! It’s whatever you want to do, no pressure!

Your character tries to dive through a tube, which they can ordinarily do without issue, but their tummy is so bloated that it gets stuck around their middle.

Your character is at the pool/beach with friends, enjoying plenty of food together. Ordinarily, their clothes would hide their tummy, but their revealing bathing suit makes it plainly visible how full they're getting.

Your character is so full of swallowed air/gas after eating that they find themself struggling to dive down under the surface, their stomach essentially functioning as a flotation device.

Your character really wants to go swimming, but they're embarrassed to change into their bathing suit after a big meal leaves their belly very noticeably bloated.

Your character dives into the pool with their mouth wide open like a knucklehead (maybe they were screaming or talking or something), forcing a rush of water into their stomach.

Your character and their friends have a poolside barbecue, intending to swim after they eat, but they wind up so stuffed that they decide to spend the rest of the day relaxing.

Thinkfast is perhaps the Most Relationship of all time. Barely any on-page development. Presumably became canon simply because nothing else was happening there. Then every 16.5 months something with insane implications will happen with them and there will be no follow up so I’ll just have to think about that for months on end
