What a wild day! I had a great time facilitating the kid's community "Indigi-mon" mural! Thank you to everyone who came to help me paint, you all did a great job and I only have a little bit of touch-up to do before it's finished (when it is I'll post the final product)!

Creative Streets Festival in Košice

Move, by Thomas Evans, aka Detour, was created for PINCFest in Sarasota’s Rosemary District. The mural depicts Congolese dancer Enock Kadima (left) and singer/dancer Canela Vasquez (right), who performs with the Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe, which is based in Sarasota.

Evans recently completed a mural for Long Beach Walls in Los Angeles. In addition to posting recent work, he also gives useful art advice every Tuesday on his Instagram page.

Köln-Ehrenfeld / Rheinische Musikschule / Mural by Werner Wittersheim Via Flickr: This is the main building of the conservatory of the City of Cologne (the institution is decentralized and runs branches all over Cologne). Fellow Flickrist "Seltene Erden" ( www.flickr.com/photos/23436744@N07/ ) helped me out with the information that the wonderful mural is a painting by Claudio Ethos. The Brasilian artist from Sao Paulo (link: www.claudioethos.com/) created this work as a contribution to the Cityleaks Urban Art Festival (link: www.cityleaks-festival.de/claudio-ethos).
