"I work for a company with an incredibly generous 15 day sick day policy" pisses me right off. Fuck you, America.
Signed, someone in a civilised country who gets six months.

Yeeeeeah. We're all pretty jealous and in awe of your civilized work benefits. Can we come live with you??? What's it like just never having to deal with burnout???? How does it feel to just, like, stay home and recover from an illness instead of trying to work through it?
I currently work for a company that has "unlimited paid time off," it's literally half the reason I accepted the job, and all of my friends are SHOCKED by how generous this policy is.

anotha day, anotha american pro pali dolla 🤺
what have we covered up until now about the American Main Character Syndrome regarding the middle east conflict and Israel?
US taxes do not subsidize the israeli average life, the US ✨invests✨ in mostly private in the military (IDF, as it sees the importance of having at least one democratic allay in such a dangerous region.
most of the US taxes, stay in the US.
Today on the agenda:
🚨🥁🚨🥁🚨
“THE ISRAELI GOVERNMENT WAS CHOSEN BY THE ISRAELI PEOPLE, SO THOSE FEW EXTREMISTS DO REFLECT ON THE ISRAELI SOCIETY”
long story short? the israeli voting system is very different than the one in the US.
🔥SHOCKING FACT🔥
the prime minister is not directly chosen by the people. citizens choose a party, so he should be the leader (“number one”) of that party, then the party has to be the largest (most seats) party of the winning bloc and the leader should be able to build a coalition of at least 61 from the 120 seats in the knesset, which is basically the israeli parliament.
so that’s how dear netanyahu, as the leader for the past 20 years of the largest party in the usually winning right bloc (the right usually wins with a 60%+- 😒) has been the prime minister. not because people vote for him.
and that my self centered friends, is without mentioning the horrific political crisis israel has been going through since 2018, where no one was able to build a coalition up until 2022. then in 2022 came another crisis when fanatics netanyahu did business with to form a coalition (and for personal issues that are for a completely different day) came to cash in with passing a crazy law that gives the government the ability to overpower the supreme court & the public went C R A Z Y. after almost a year of manifesting against the law and the extremists flooding the knesset , in comes ✨hamas✨ seizing the moment for what they’ve been waiting and training for for months.
TLDR: netanyahu was never specifically chosen by the people.

you have to be liquefied and turned into pig slop you nationalist
It's not nationalist to consider free speech important, and recognize that there isn't a single country on earth where it's nearly as secure as the United States.
It's not nationalist to observe that the United States has kept international trade flowing at our own expense for seventy years and made the entire world vastly richer, bringing the populations of many countries out of poverty, by doing it.
It's not nationalist to value an individualist culture where no one is tied down to what their parents and neighbors think, where you can just hit the bricks and move to another town or the big city and find people you like better. Nor to observe that the US is wildly better at protecting individual rights and individual freedom, and fuck any group who wants to tell you you have to suffer to make a group better off in a way where they can't even point to a specific person they're helping.
It's not nationalist to note that, for all our arguments about immigration, we're still better than anyone else at taking immigrants in and giving them full citizenship. It would be nationalist to claim that they ought to want to do that in the US of A rather than the UK or Italy or Romania or Brazil. But since the prospective immigrants seem to believe that themselves, it's certainly not nationalist to observe that we are better than anyone else at giving them their wish, and considering it important to allow immigrants to get what they want is pretty much the opposite of nationalist.
It's not nationalist to look at our racial problems, which are pretty severe, and compare them to the underclasses of not-properly-citizens in most of Europe and think we look pretty okay. Let alone to look at the racial conflicts that crop up in most countries in Africa and South and Southeast Asia, and note that at least we never have annual death tolls in the thousands.
I don't really know what America has done to make its colleges in higher demand than the many, often significantly older, colleges in Europe, but we're doing something right and it's not nationalist to be pleased we've kept doing it.
The American Dream has never been nationalist; it's a dream that is offered to anyone who likes the idea of America and wants a piece of it themselves. And the Dream may be in danger, but it is definitely not dead.
There are precious few places in the world which have ever tried to be a haven for refugees, emigrants, and people locked out of opportunity where they were born, and none of them but America have succeeded. The closest is probably Israel, for a narrow but sorely needed set of emigrants, and look how that's turned out.
So yeah, I'm pretty proud of the United States of America, despite its problems. We are, by objective measures, very impressive, richer and freer and more welcoming than the competition, and that's worth being proud of, if only so we remember to protect it.

The world is now starting to condemn IsraFake after they killed white aid workers. Of course, they deserve global outrage, but so do the 40,000 plus innocent Palestinian lives.
Shame on the US for supporting this hellscape. Butcher Biden will join Satanyahu in Jahannam.
