This affects so many people and no one has ever talks about it, so please understand how monumental that he covered this was. It legitimately brought me to tears to hear John Oliver talk about how deeply deeply fucked up the system is.

Um if you write Jason having to get drugs for Catherine I want you dead btw. Not only does it tell me you assume the average drug dealer would give the hard shit to a very small child and then not supervise them at all (classist stereotype that all drug dealers are inherently evil + lazy writing with no grasp on reality) and you genuinely think that Catherine was CONSTANTLY high, as if that's even possible without overdosing far sooner than she did. That's without even getting into the bad mom Catherine propaganda.

When my little sister broke her leg she snapped it cleanly at the shin and shifted it almost an inch off the bone, to the point where it was less than a centimeter away from tearing through the skin and having to have some pretty nasty surgeries. When she was brought into the little nursing office of the ski resort we were staying at, she was screaming and begging for the doctors to make it stop hurting. We could barely move her. It’s one of my worst memories and I’m not even the one who got injured. My dad wanted to pick her up off the bed and carry her to our truck that would have driven her bumpily to the hospital in her makeshift splint with her screaming in the back and no professionals to monitor her leg, which the doctor later said almost certainly would have shifted her bone out through her skin, because the ride to the hospital in the ambulance was going to cost thousands of dollars. Thousands of dollars. For a less than ten minute ride. Where all that happened was the doctors stabilized her leg and gave her morphine to help with the pain. I sat in the front of the ambulance while my dad drove separately, and the whole time I was thinking that this ride that maybe wasn’t necessary to my sister’s survival but was absolutely necessary to her comfort, health, and healing cost THOUSANDS of dollars. Even with our insurance covering the majority of the ride (thankfully) we still ended up being charged nearly two hundred dollars.
So yeah, if people are SCARED or unwilling to seek medical help freely available because it could potentially put them in crippling debt or drain their savings, if people are willing to put themselves or their families in pain or deny treatment because it could ruin their lives and wellbeing, I think something is seriously wrong with our system. And if killing a couple of ceos is the only way for that system to start changing? Then I say fucking go for it.

I have chronic back pain, have for a while. It’s not so bad now that I had surgery, but I lived with it for years. I tried to go to a doctor for it, but they just said to lose weight, so I learned to live with the pain until one morning I couldn’t get up from bed. Couldn’t move without feeling like electricity was running up and down my back, burning my spine and leg from the inside.
This had me back in front of a doctor who (thankfully) listened and then for an entire year my insurance jerked me around requiring that I try different methods to manage the pain before finally agreeing to cover surgery.
In that year leading up to surgery something inside me broke. I couldn’t do the most basic tasks. Having to learn how to move my body in just the right way so that I wouldn’t lock up trying to wipe my own ass is one of my least favorite memories. Next to it is a tie between falling at my sister’s wedding because my leg gave out and being in so much pain I couldn’t sleep for days on end. I couldn’t sit, couldn’t drive, couldn’t bend or twist or even lay down without feeling like my nerves were on fire.
Work accommodated but I felt useless. I couldn’t lift inventory anymore. Couldn’t do a key part of my job that I (oddly) enjoyed doing. Commuting the hour to school twice a week was excruciating, but it was my first year of grad school. I had to push through. My professors were kind, they accommodated so that I could be as comfortable as possible in class. But I felt like a distraction, a nuisance, a bother. It was so hard to focus on lectures and homework when 90% of the input my brain was receiving was that of pain.
I grit my teeth and bore it, my mental health hit a new all time low, and I broke down in front my my mother more times than I can count. And I did this for a year because insurance refused to cover surgery unless I proved to them I needed it. I had to jump through their hoops and play by their rules to get the procedure I needed and that my care team knew I needed. I lost feeling in my leg and foot because they made me wait.
I will forever be grateful for the doctors who listened, for the physical therapist who advocated for me, for my mom who surprisingly became my rock during the whole ordeal. But my insurance company? They can go fuck themselves.
My pain before that year was bad, but not excruciating. My pain now? It’s minimal. Sometimes I still lock up and I’ll likely never have all of the sensation return to my left foot, but I’ll take the constant pins and needles over that year of pain any day. That said, had it gone on much longer I genuinely don’t know if I’d be here typing this.
Anyways…I guess what I’m saying is IF he did it, I get it. I really really get it.

"a dude in Texas legally changed his name to "Literally Anyone Else" and he's attempting to run for President against Biden & Trump" [source]
okay, but putting aside the comedic aspect of this, it is concerning the amount of people who are prompted to vote for candidates just because it's funny. I'm not the biggest fan of how his policy about the boarder sounds [Site], but I do implore anyone who is able to vote in the 2024 US election to please research other candidates.
The media is only going to continue pushing the idea it's inevitably going to be Trump vs Biden 2.0 and we have no other options, that we have to vote for Biden again because of Project 2025. Is that whole thing terrifying?
Yeah, fucking absolutely.
But voting for Biden will not solidify our safety from that. Biden is exactly like the rest of them. He always has been. You can't make the lesser of two evils argument when they're both just plain evil.
You cannot say that Biden is even mildly a better choice than Trump when he is currently directly involved in a genocide. That is not some little fucking thing. That in and of itself disqualifies him as a lesser evil. Biden is just as bad as him and he will not save us because he doesn't fucking care.
Cornel West [Site] is an Independent candidate running for President in the 2024 Election. [Policies]
Claudia De la Cruz and Karina Garcia [Site] are running for President and Vice-President as the candidates of the Party for Socialism and Liberation in the 2024 Election. [Policies]
There are options.
There are people trying to change the corrupt foundation our system is built on, but we have to help amplify them because the mainstream media will not.
#have you looked at what's happening in New York & the subways#There's so many reported shootings and deaths and it just seems to be getting worse.#I just looked up subway shooting ny because I wanted to check before saying something#There's reports from like 3 hours ago about someone getting pushed in front of one of the moving subways & there's so many others#or how about the like thousands of police officers that they've got stationed at subways in ny literally doing fuck all#or how everyone's going through a housing crisis and cant afford rent and cant get medical care because it can cost#$4000 to get a fucking ambulance and that's cheap. That's a ride to the hospital less than 20 minutes away probably.#or the rise in hate crimes and bigotry and all the shit they're now trying to censor with the kosa bill#or how terrifying places like Florida have became for anyone thats not seen as an equel by people who dont view most others as equels.#or how they're pouring billions into wars while we're in the midsts of a homeless crisis#suicide rates are at record levels in the us and it's only going to get worse. theyre pulling telehealth which will take away#life saving medical care for people who dont have the ability to go in person. people's ability to get therapy and meds being taken away#Is going to kill people. or how the Biden administration has fucked up their Covid response so goddamn badly#people are referring to the pandemic in past tense and have lost understanding for others who they'd have understood before#they've lied and they've concealed and its killing millions of people and disabling even more. but they will not take accountability.#long covid is ruining people's lives and they've successfully led the narrative that its not real or not that serious.#they will sit there and they will lie. they will say they've protected women's rights and that its a top priority.#they'll say that healthcare is a top priority but have suggested that they'd veto a healthcare for all bill because of its price tag#but will spend billions and billions and billions on a genocide that the majority is against. the system isn't going to begin collapsing#it already is.#its crumbled and we must demolish the corrupt remains and rebuild a better government that gives a shit about people#ALL people.#they use basic human rights as bargaining chips.#the Democrats and Republicans on a Venn diagram is a circle. wake up.

My dad and I were chatting before bed when he said "damn shame Republicans hate Democrats too much because you almost saved the United Healthcare ceo"
And I stared at him in confusion until I remembered I convinced Democrats to write the active shooter alert system bill in 2022 & Republicans said no. Since my Twitter is gone, the thread of me @ everyone is gone. And when Trump got re-elected, I removed the video discussing the bill concept for public comments. It fully slipped my mind because I went from pulling teeth & being reluctantly patient to full on cussing, cursing, and hexing the government by the end of 2023.
I hope that Twitter DC staffer is having a good laugh- I bet their bosses are pissed wwwwww
I don't remember the exact wording I wrote to the White House when I cussed out Biden for funding war crimes (2023) & the bill itself (2022) but I did list consequences I foresaw that are happening now, so suck to suck if nobody listened & are on the receiving end of massive hexes
I guess my dad is right, the GOP technically killed Brian Thompson in 2022
#mun post#the downside of being a death witch with foretelling and pattern recognition is nobody listens until it's too late#the fed collectively moving to shut down tiktok after i cussed them out was their biggest mistake with public relations so I already#hexed and cursed many of them - they should've never fucked with Death#168 Republicans killed Brian Thompson because nobody wanted to hesr me out except th3 handful who still are at DC trying to fix the mess#i wish them the small handful the best because being inside doesn't mean they can do major change when their bosses are for greed and wealt#over democracy and the well being of the masses#o7 active shooter alert system bill- you will be deeply missed#united healthcare#and since all the public comments and thread information are deleted- Congress is on their own to figure out what to do- I refuse to assist#unless they send me 100M and total protection from all military practice and weapons testing on the US public#my dad was like WTF YOU FORGOT#and i was like WELL TO BE FAIR WOULD YOU GIVE A SHIT ABOUT THE PEOPLE WHO DIDN'T HEWR YOU OUT#and he was like YOU KNOW WHAT? FAIR- THEY SHOULD'VE LISTENED TO YOU- NOW THEY GOT EVERY CEO ON THEIR DOORSTEP BEGGING FOR PROTECTION#like i hexed everyone complicit in genocide qnd democide with ironic death#the gods and the people get to decide how it plays out- the engraved bullets is sick af#i predicted the wealthy would get shot inevitably in the next 6 yrs- i never said how because that's not my jurisdiction#artemis and apollo only came into my life recently and have doubled down on what i can see and have seen- but Death is gearing up to topple#an empire again and I told people as early as summer 2019 bht nobody cared sooo

i love when people react to stories about medical or hospital related issues with like "uhm i dont believe this no doctor would ever let [x horrible thing] happen especially for so long 🙄" like its such a weird way to say theyve never met a doctor or Needed medical assistance but whatever floats their boat

Turns out it was not an error at the MRI facility, my insurance (which is literally the best insurance available in my area as an individual) just won't cover it* That is incredibly frustrating, both because what's the damn point of paying so much for health insurance if it doesn't cover testing, and because I get so much stuff from the insurance company about how they support preventative testing and care but when it's time to pay out they won't put their money where their mouth is. *technically they are "covering" it in that it was approved and the total cost will only be what they've negotiated with the MRI provider, but the insurance company isn't covering any of that cost. At all. None of it.
