It really wouldn't be a bad idea to take a step back to self-reflect and educate yourselves.

Immigration is a human thing - in fact, it's the reason why we're here today, starting from our own beginnings. The immigration that you, dear white Trumpists, MAGAs, anti-immigration supporters and propagandists, are so opposed to, is only natural, because you yourselves are the cause this time. Colonialism, oppression of people of colour and minorities, the deep scars inflicted that are still kept open and rubbed full of salt today.

I'm not a US American, but the logic and rhetoric of those addressed in this post is baffling and incredibly inhuman and cruel to many, many people outside the world's most powerful country. Fascism and right-wing extremism is on the rise again almost everywhere, not just in America - as a person (of colour) living in Germany, the direction in which society here is developing politically is distressing to witness - but America in particular, as the self-proclaimed land of the free, of equality and of justice, should actively hold to those values instead of spiralling into hypocrisy.
