Don’t y’all just love it when you get called pro genocide when you explicitly aren’t pro genocide and have repeatedly called out nations that do genocide

since this shit was put on my dash...
excerpts Noah's original statement highlighted in blue
I am truly heartbroken to see the brutal murders of innocent children, women and soldiers fighting to defend themselves. I, like others, want peace for both Palestinians and Israelis. Let’s stop the rhetoric and choosing sides. Instead we must recognize that we are all on the side of the fight against terrorism. Choose humanity over violence.”
“I just reposted a beautiful picture of a young innocent girl whose life was taken by Hamas at a music festival,” Schanpp wrote. “I was met with comments reading ‘no one cares free Palestine’ and ‘She deserves that, and every Israeli terrorist deserves that – Free Palestine.’ I am outraged by the justification and celebration of the death of a young girls life. Have people lost their minds??? STOP!”
“I hope we can agree that Hamas are a recognized terrorist organization: they don’t represent the Palestinian people when they value murdering Israelis more than protecting their own,” Schnapp wrote. “You either stand with Israel or you stand with terrorism. It shouldn’t be a difficult choice. Shame on you.”
While you justify the murders and torture of our loved ones, we will hope and pray for safety, justice, liberation, and self determination in Palestine,”
taken from Variety as noah has deleted his original post
in noah's original post he did NOT advocate for the killing of Palestinians and yes he was being ignorant to the history of Israel attacking Palestine. and yall chose to treat him like a demon instead of educating him.
it sad that this needs to be said but visiting Israel or loving the country does NOT mean you support Neteyahu or Israel's occupation of Palestine.
the Israeli people are NOT their government
thats like saying if you came to america between 2003 and 2023 you supported the killings of innocent people in the middle east from the war on terror but no one in their right mind would say that.
Lastly the "zionism is sexy" stickers
yall claimed he was saying genocide is sexy and you should be really fucking ashamed for lying like that.
Zionism- nationalistic movement
-from britannica.com
Zionism:
a movement for (originally) the re-establishment and (now) the development and protection of a Jewish nation in what is now Israel. It was established as a political organization in 1897 under Theodor Herzl, and was later led by Chaim Weizmann.
(in southern Africa) a religious movement represented by a group of independent Churches which practise a form of Christianity incorporating elements of traditional African beliefs.
the beliefs and practices of the African Zionist movement.
anyway i know yall dont like the truth and someone will likely accuse me of being teenage fan girl or bootlicker or some other stupid shit so this is really for anyone who stumbles across it and actually cares about the TRUTH & FACTS.
side note: the next time any person, famous or not, is being loud and ignorant try to educate them instead of cancelling them. and also know some times it takes more than one time before information gets through.
Noah Schnapp trying to apologise by saying his words have been misconstrued. You were gleefully videoing your friends as they were proudly showing off stickers that read “Zionism is sexy” you posted misinformation and uplifted hateful voices of your peers. You were silent for far too long and conveniently come back when your show is being publicly boycotted on social media because of you and likeminded cast members. Nothing was misconstrued you just regret that there are consequences.

Just an unpopular opinion from my own experience , it sounds silly but i find it important.
Ever since i started boycotting (specifically october) i have been so much better in a lot of ways , first , i saved some pocket money from the snacks i used to buy , because they were expensive and high quality (like Candia and danette) that used to cause me some health issues like things concerning my weight and pain , and i was able to buy my own country's products , far cheaper , FAR more natural , helps our economy , AND are so tasty !!
Second , i've been seeing so many people around me finally starting to boycott and even ask the sellers to warn the buyers about products like coca cola , nestle...etc , and i have never been happier , i am PROUD and SO PROUD to be in a country that will never have ties with the Zionists , never.
And last , yes , your voice matters, yes , stopping from buying ur favourite zionist supporter product won't kill you , so please , never forget about palestine🇵🇸🇵🇸💕.

the level at which people are misusing the term "Never Again" in the far left absolutely infuriates me.
"Never Again" doesn't refer to the idea of no more genocides -- unfortunately people are evil and corrupt and seek scapegoats and destruction, there were genocides in the years following the Holocaust, there were genocides 10 years ago, there are multiple genocides going on as we speak
"Never Again" means we as Jews will pay attention to the warning signs, will not mindlessly allow antisemitism to fester and take over our communities, we will fight back. it means we will be proud. it means we will not let you hate us without a word of refusal.
"Never Again" is a warning for us, it is a reminder that what happened then can happen now -- is happening now. The Far Left doesn't get to use it against us. You don't get to turn our tragedies into hate-speech and antisemitic rhetoric.

There's something I need to make very, very clear.
Kamal Harris is the only option for people who care about Gaza and the Iraeli/Palastine conflict as a whole. Yes, I know she supports Israel. Guess who else does? Oh, that's right! Everyone's least favorite local MAGA fascist, Donal J Trump! These people are the only two options, we're not getting a third. Anyone telling you otherwise is either deeply misguided or a right wing propagandist trying to turn the left in on itself. Because of how the American system works, 9/10 elections are entirely based on Harm Reduction. Keep this in mind when you vote.
Because Kamala Harris wants a Ceasefire. Donald Tump will turn Gaza into a barren parking lot. Kamala Harris provides military aide to Israel, but Trump will too and he's gonna do it SO MUCH WORSE. Harris has stood up to Netenyahu. Trump is a doormat for foreign leaders, especially ones like Netenyahu. Harris might end this. Trump absolutely will, but not in the way you want.
Remember. This is the only option. If you vote for Harris, you're making it less likely that Gaza gets paved over by a bunch of genocidal maniacs. If you vote for Trump, you ensure that not only Gaza, but the entirety of Palestine gets absolutely demolished.
So I vote for Harris because I care about Gaza, not because I'm ignoring it. You should do the same.

Not to call the ICC Dreyfus trial cosplayers ... But like.... Fuck me this is genuinely insane.
They know full well that the leaders of Hamas will never stand trial, but there's a chance that they might get Netenyahu and Gallant. This is genuinely the ICC setting Israel up to be prosecuted as a scapegoat for the worst pogrom, the worst orgy of violence commited against Jews since the second world war.
Do I think there needs to be an investigation, post war, into how it was handled? Duh.
Is this the fight way to go about it? Absolutely not. The ICC is gonna be so fucking embarrassed about this one in years to come (except they won't as they have no shame and have been repeatedly useless at condemning violence if it's not got Jews involved)

Kinda wondering if any conservative voters who want the government to be American first are gonna be upset seeing the government they love choose another country (a war criminal at that) over America and be upset. I want to know really badly. It’s aching my bones seeing those racist crackers stand up and applaud him while people in Gaza are dying by the minute and people in the US starve by the day. It’s so evil seeing how hitler came to power in real time. Also reminder Netanyahu not even Jewish and he’s also polish. He’s a Nazi that deserves a bullet to the dome. No jail time just straight bullet. Also nothing will stop me from shitting on his grave when that old fuck dies.

And for anyone who’s (understandably) concerned about the Israeli government’s treatment of Palestinian civilians, may I suggest the following:
Calling for Hamas to surrender is by no means the same thing as thinking Netenyahu and his cronies are the good guys, or that they should be let be.
Prior to the attacks, Israeli citizens were protesting for months against Netenyahu’s administration’s attempts to overhaul the courts to escape his many, MANY corruptions charges. Now he’s using the attacks as a means to try to hold power.
I’ve frequently opined, “Fuck Hamas.” and variations of “Fuck Bibi.” for a reason. They are two sides of the same coin - turning the citizens they claim to represent into mulch to act as fuel for both the war and to keep themselves in power.
If Israel and Palestine are to have peace, the first step will be getting rid of both of these groups of power-hungry fucks.
Hamas must surrender. And Benjamin Netanyahu must resign.
@neil-gaiman @seananmcguire @dduane sorry but you’re the only famous people i know on here @shiraglassman
"The quickest path to a ceasefire is a unified international call for Hamas to surrender
Rallies by human rights and pro-Palestinian activists around the world have called for an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. Many of those rallying have only good intentions at heart: they seek no more harm to innocents. They seek to protect the children of Gaza, who have no responsibility for the crimes of members of their parents’ generation. They seek to mitigate the chances of an outbreak of a regional war that could cause further damage to even more innocents across Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt. They seek peace.
Seeing Israel as the stronger party, these well-intentioned activists have come to a simple conclusion: if only Israel stopped its military operations, a ceasefire would emerge. Hostages would eventually be returned. Lives would be saved. The problem is, as the leadership of the US and EU have already concluded, that is not realistic. In past wars with Hamas, Israel has ceased fire and increased economic development for Gaza. Each time, Hamas used the time and money they siphoned off to build weapons of war and aim those at both Israelis and the Palestinians who disagree with their theocratic dictatorship. Which is why the only way for the Left, us progressives, to live up to our morals and keep the high ground is to call for the immediate unconditional surrender of Hamas.
Calling for the unconditional surrender of Hamas would prove that the Left cares about children of all countries, without ascribing to a hierarchy of human life. It avoids the moralistic laziness of publicly funded intellectuals such as Nicholas Kristof, among others, who essentially argue that a person planning to shoot you or your children has the same right to life as his victims. It avoids the abdication of responsibility by progressive leaders who forgive the war crimes of the party dedicated to carrying them out.
Calling for the unconditional surrender of Hamas — as opposed to a ceasefire — is not only the right thing to do, morally, it is also the right thing to do, politically. As Hamas official Khaled Mashal told Saudi journalist Rasha Nabil, Hamas is depending on international pressure to stop Israel from destroying its military infrastructure so that it may live to fight another day.
Those who care deeply about protecting the lives of innocents need to think not just about today, but tomorrow."
...
"Postscript for those engaged in public diplomacy: How can you help the Left do the right thing?
Affirm: Instead of arguing with those who call for a ceasefire, agree with them that we need to end all violence, and call on them to do the right thing by joining in the call for Hamas to unconditionally surrender.
Strengthen: Many on the Left are already calling out Hamas’s atrocities. Strengthen their case by adding to their argument in moralistic terms. Do not seek to shame them for previous statements they may have made. People change.
Amplify: When you see someone calling on Hamas to unconditionally surrender, share that call. Without caveats. We can work out the details for how to achieve peace in the Middle East the day after the war is over. For now, let’s focus on what matters: an immediate ceasefire after the unconditional surrender of Hamas."

Just boosting this as a reminder:
acknowledging and criticizing Netenyahu and the Israeli government's treatment of Palestinian civilians
AND
recognizing that Hamas are fucking monsters
are not mutually exclusive positions.
