I sometimes wonder how I come across to the antisemites in my life online. I rarely talk about I/P because I don't view it as constructive having a chat on Facebook or Instagram despite the fact I work with organisations in touch with the UK and Israeli governments, platform speakers, raise awareness, generally do a lot of volunteering with influential people that actually get shit done and have far more impact on what's going on than some rando on a march in London chanting the slogan of the week.

What I do post about is antisemitism in the UK because that directly affects me and my friends. We had a major bit of antisemitic graffiti within a mile of my home (big red star of David with "baby killers" written underneath it) which was felt with my our local councillors, member of parliament, the police and CST (community security trust) within hours of it's discovery. But at the same time, I'm fully aware that from the perspective of the person trying to make me look evil, I only appear to talk about antisemitism.

A single conversation would show them this is not the case and yet they have rejected every offer to talk for approaching two years.

One of us works to promote those with viable plans for sustainable peace. The other shares dehumanising, hypocritical, KKK inspired slogans online while claiming to be "progressive". I know which one I am, and I'll be proud to be open about it with my descendents because only one of us actually sees a future with peace in the middle east for everyone.

Welcome to Britain, we have six political parties now. We've got:

The Anti-muslim, antisemitic and also racist party

The "we hate the poor and also are racist but aren't racist enough according to our fan base" party

The "not quite as left as you thought we were going to be and we fucked ourselves with our manifesto promises and don't know how to turn it around" party

The antisemitic party with green policies who pretend disingenuously that no other party cares about the environment

The ultra antisemitic lefty party run by someone who described Hamas as his "friends"

The centrist party focussing on social care issues who no one seems to be able to criticise and one other party leader even described as the "nice party" so we are going to pretend they don't exist because their MPs are spending more time getting the job done than playing party politics and it's not good for the news so forget about them.

I'm really hoping this comment isn't aimed at me because I've never called for the dissolution of Israel and I do regularly criticise other countries for their actions

Gotta be honest champ, when I, a Jewish person you've known for years has openly offered to talk to you about I/P and how you can rightfully tear the Israeli government to shreds for their actions without being antisemitic, and instead you choose to reblog blood libel and actual KKK propaganda and things that are so untrue that a simple Google search will tell you what's going on, I'm starting to think the problem might be that you quite like being antisemitic

Everyone needs to be very clear about what it means that when someone hacked Elmo on Twitter, Elmo the muppet, everyone's favorite little red furry friend, they didn't just use him as a mouthpiece to yell about Trump and Epstein.

People have isolated the one tweet that says that Trump needs to release the Epstein files and calls him a "child fucker." But there was a series of tweets, and the mention of Trump and Epstein came within the context of advancing the centuries-old antisemitic conspiracy theory that Jews control the world, Netanyahu specifically controls Trump because of Trump's association with Epstein and came with two explicit and unvarnished calls for the murder of all Jews.

Viewing this single tweet about the Epstein files in isolation makes it appear like the hacker had some noble purpose. They did not. Their only purpose was to call for antisemitic violence.

The hacker cannot be applauded for any part of what they did.

Somehow, worrying about being stabbed in the back by a "friend" has become more likely than being stabbed in the front by a fascist I can see coming
