The Big Bad Wolf reminds his cubs in the Silly Symphony entitled Three Little Wolves (1936): "No one eats till pop comes home!" He certainly can't be referring to these tasty spareribs, since our friend will never get his paws on a succulent little pig. But how would he like his ribs cooked if he did come home with a fine pork booty? Tender on the inside and crunchy on the outside, in a sweet-and-sour sauce that's paw-lickin' good.
"Roasted pork, glass of schnapps, ham and eggs, pork n' chops, pigs n' feet, sausage meat— Little pigs is good to eat."

HOW TO MAKE IT
4 Servings 1 1/2 Days Preparation Time
INGREDIENTS
1/2 teaspoon - salt 1/4 teaspoon - black pepper 1/4 teaspoon - cayenne pepper 2 pounds - spareribs 1/2 cup - red wine vinegar 1 1/2 ounces - grated gingerroot 7 ounces - ketchup 1/4 cup - Worcestershire sauce 1/2 cup - finely chopped onions 4 ounces - brown sugar 1 orange, juice only 3 ounces - coarse mustard 1 pound - blackberries 1/4 teaspoon - salt 2 bay leaves 2 cups - cider vinegar
Combine salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper, rub mixture over ribs , and cover. Marinate overnight in refrigerator.
Combine all remaining ingredients except the cider vinegar, and place in a stockpot. After bringing to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cook for about 1 hour. Purée and strain well. Adjust salt and vinegar to taste.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees (Fahrenheit). Place ribs in an ovenproof pan and pour the cider vinegar over them.
Roast for approximately 1 1/2 hours, until the vinegar has evaporated, turning ribs about every 20 minutes.
Remove ribs from oven and lower oven temperature to 325 degrees.
Baste ribs on both sides with sauce and bake for 15-minutes intervals, baking for a total of 45 minutes. Slice each rib between bone and meat, and serve with sauce on the side.
NOTES
Frozen blackberries work fine in this recipe. They may replaced with raspberries, lingonberries, or marionberries.
VARIATIONS
As the Big Bad Wolf is the master of disguise, you, too, can be a master of disguise with this sauce. Use it on chicken, beef ribs, or even on and in burgers, turning ordinary meals into enticing gourmet dishes.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS
Potato-egg salad, and lots and lots of napkins.

My brother brought my mum and me along with one of my nephews to Andy’s Grill Express near where he was staying. The stall’s front is pretty narrow that it had to display the menu on the side wall. We went for their Super Combo Deal as it offered the best value. Ordered freshly squeezed Orange and Watermelon Juices to quench the thirst.

My nephew and I had Ribeye Steaks (2 for S$22) which is served on top of a bed of fries and crispy salad and drizzled in brown gravy. While it isn’t the best ribeye I had, it was juicy and tender plus the portion was big.

Mum and my brother went for the Fish & Chips (2 for S$14.90). It came with the same sides of fries and salad plus a squeeze of tartar sauce on the side. Mum gave me a piece of the fish which was well seasoned and crispy.

I've tried a couple different chaffle recipes, but this one is my standout favorite. I have used them as breakfast waffles, or as sandwich bread for a turky and ham club sandwich - so good!

I really dislike the idea that just bc Ganyu is old she has experience with everything, like that's not how it works lol. And this includes serious romance, esp when she didn't even feel like she belongs in human society until recently + not everyone is desperate to date.
The way i see it she's been struggling with her identity and finding a sense of belonging among humans, as well as dealing with going against her peaceful nature during war, while also being someone who appreciates just being alive, and simple things in live unrelated to social stuff, and nature and Liyue as a whole. She has a lot of things to deal with mentally bc of her half-qilin identity, devotion to Rex Lapis and Liyue, and everything she's been through. I think she doesn't exactly need romance. And she has that mysterious qilin side to her, which we don't truly know or understand. It's perfectly fine for her to be a character that was never all that interested in romance, and doesn't have direct experience with it.
And there's really never enough time to experience and learn everything, it doesn't matter how old she is. I find making her this perfect, hypercompetent and experienced at absolutely everything flawless being to be very limiting. Why deny her the space to still learn and grow? I believe we learn all our lives, and it's the same for Ganyu. I mean, literally just look at her being completely perplexed by Keqing and Rex Lapis' fondness of her lmao. And the entire fact of their eventual reconciliation.

Ganyu somehow just couldn't ignore Keqing's existence, even if it was absolutely an option for a 3000+ yo half-qilin. Perhaps because Keqing was kind and truly did care about Liyue and its ppl, making Ganyu have very mixed feelings. She left a strong, hard to ignore impression. And so Ganyu eventually learned more about this human enigma called Keqing lol, and grew as a person.
And generally that's also how i see ganqing's relationship, neither of them rlly need romance, they're not desperate for it. Keqing has her own passions and dreams, she has her life figured out. Ganyu doesn't have her life as figured out so there's a lot to consider here. But they simply decide a romantic relationship witch each other is what they WANT!! Bc it does enrich their lives. They chose to do this, even if they never actually had to.
Long story short, yes Ganyu is amazing, talented and carries Liyue on her back, but she's also only human, and only qilin. Her being so old doesn't automatically mean she must have romantic experience. And she's still learning, growing and experiencing new things.
