Direct from the economy rice stall in Chong Pang came this takeaway box of Brunch. Mum said the thinly sliced fried Chinese Sausage (腊肠) or lap cheong as we normally called it over here looks yummy so she asked for it. It is done savoury sweet style and I find that it goes well with the steamed rice. The rest are pretty standard fares of stewed preserved Chinese mustard greens with pork belly and curry chicken & potato.

Recognized for its succulent beef cubes cooked in a flavorful sauce with a lot of garlic. It is easy to make and can be eaten as a main course or as an appetizer. One of the greatest comfort dishes ever. Delightful with a bowl of white rice.
