My colleague said she don’t and doesn’t know how to cook so she just packed home the meals from the stalls or order delivery. I am just glad there are plenty of choices all within walking distant from my place like this Teriyaki Chicken & Chicken Bento or this Teriyaki Chicken & Saba Fish Bento. Sis asked me to pack for her the Sweet & Sour Pork Rice (咕噜肉饭) with a fried egg from the tze char (煮炒) stall.

Chinese beef and onion stir fry

Australian called it Barramundi (Lates calcarifer) but locally, it is known as (Asian) Sea Bass (金目鲈). Again, mum chose to deep-fry it which isn’t bad but we do wish she had steamed it instead. The next dish is Bitter Gourd Stir-Fry with eggs, prawns and minced pork.

Mum also like to buy Fishcakes (鱼饼) to fry them though sis doesn’t really fancy it. There you have it, two fish and a vegetable dish with prawns for a seafood dinner. I love the bitter gourd as mum prepared it by sprinkling salt on the sliced gourd then squeezing out some of the bitter juice before cooking it.

The ideal dish saving you time in the kitchen and enabling you to spend more time with your family. This delectable Filipino dish is called beef salpicao. Recognized for its succulent beef cubes cooked in a flavorful sauce with a lot of garlic. It is easy to make and can be eaten as a main course or as an appetizer.
