Part of the reason that Republicans are so desperately acting like they will never lose again is because they are deeply terrified that this is their last real chance to win. Soap gets Ghost a blanket with little ghosts on it right before Halloween as a pisstake, and he's positive that Ghost just tosses it in a corner somewhere and leaves it.

Until they start touching tips on the regular, and Soap decides to bother him one morning on base when they have fuck all else to do because he's bored and a little horny.

So, he finds himself outside of Ghost's door and just lets himself in instead of knocking because he's like that and instead of finding an angry 'built like a brick shithouse' man glaring at him angrily, he finds a very asleep Lieutenant in his bed. Ghost is sprawled out, hair sticking up at every angle, and Soap can hear him snoring quietly, but what he really cares about is the fact that Ghost has a death grip on the corner of the ghost blanket and the rest of it is under him.

Soap would wake him if it weren't for the fact it's the most peaceful he's ever seen the man, and Ghost is drooling onto the blanket where his face is smushed on it. Suddenly, Soap is overcome with this warm fuzzy feeling in his chest, and it hits him like a truck. He isn't content, just banging his lieutenant. Nope, he wants Ghost. All of him. He wants to wife up his lt.
