I'll take Tommy voicing his "jealousy"* 100 times and being good at communicating his personal frustrations instead of a guy who'd say nothing.

Tommy is showing a healthy way to communicate how he feels about Buck and what's in his life. So far it's never been in a fight but in a casual conversation, safe and respectful. We know what men not talking about their feelings does. It's catastrophic, for them and for people around them. The violence it creates is insane, and we all know that.

Haters will use that against him, of course they will. But Tommy probably learned the hard way that keeping your feelings unsaid is one of the worst things you can do to yourself and people you love. Showing this on TV in this kind of show is so important.

Once again Tommy's character is used to portray an adult man who wants to do good. He's open but has his own boundaries, he's respectful and follow cues when the other person seems hesitant, and he doesn't hide what he feels because not only he knows it's good to talk about it, but it creates a relatable moment. Now Buck knows he can talk about his family's situation with Tommy, he knows he can safely open up to him. He'll understand and will listen.

im obsessed with neil newbon the Just Some Guy / Fey Creature energy he has, he dresses like a genderfluid cybergoth pajama model, has the body language of a tiny cat in the form of a 6'2 very large man, the bubbly energy of a middle school girl, the athletic skill of a stuntman, will say the smartest and sweetest and most heartbreaking shit and then 10 minutes later while he's gaming he'll accidentally take off a companion characters undies and flash everybody, wildshape his character into a cat, meow intermittently for 15 minutes and ur not quite sure if he realizes he's still doing it? Then he'll spin the strangest little story flirting with himself of two characters he made up and talking in the voices the whole time, remind you his half wood-elf is VERY stupid and very pansexual, and then leave? The minute i saw his first stream i was like FUCK i guess i'm keeping this guy huh. 10/10

like, it has potential to be a funny idea on its own honestly. zuko doesn't survive taking that hit from azula during their agni kai but he's agni's specialist little guy so he just decides to let him do a round two. he just also has no control over where he'll end up, or who he'll be. he does at least, deign to tell the avatar about this arrangement so they spend all their free time after the war trying to find zuko.

none of them think to look in si wong desert. they're all sick of si wong desert. this is a mistake, because that's where zuko is. just this extremely weird kid with eerie out of place gold eyes and a massive red birthmark on the left half of his face. sometimes he just knows things he has no business of knowing. he's raised by his uncle because his dad wants nothing to do with him, and his mom died in childbirth. when his uncle dies, he decides to leave the desert at thirteen and make the trek to ba sing se.

he doesn't know why. he just really wants to go there for some reason.

meanwhile, the gaang is just starting to wonder if agni lied to them... when katara runs into a kid with gold eyes and a huge birthmark and is just like. holy shit. now i know what agni meant by making it obvious. she has to go and find everyone right this second. she doesn't even think about it. she just straight up kidnaps the kid.

Personal headcanon about the "you picked the wrong dellamorte" line, I don't think illario actually likes rook outside the context of them being someone close to lucanis. Like rook on their own isn't much to him, but when they meet it's yet another person talking about his cousin (why isn't he good enough for whatever job they're hiring for?) and on top of that they somehow bring him back from the dead (another whole can of worms for illario). Now he starts turning on the charm, but whether he's actually interested or this is just one more thing his cousin has that he doesn't and it gets under his skin, who knows. Either way, rook ignores illario, the guy who lives off his charm, and is instead interested in the guy who's never even dated before and thinks giving someone a knife is how to flirt. Infuriating

NO THANK YOU !! i am genuinely sorry if i have ever implied illario is into rook like i see some takes about it and unless it like ties into your rook's personal backstory i don't seriously think he's romantically jealous. at all. my enjoyment of that line stems from illario's pathological need to make it about himself and not see his strengths but what lucanis has, and therefore what he doesn't. he's annoyed enough to try and goad you in the middle of a fight about the 'wrong' dellamorte and completely blind to the fact that the venatori are at best, a stupid fucking alliance, and at worst, a cult that will devour the crows from the inside out and illario would have been the one to give them the keys. he sees lucanis make allies, needs his own, and instead of charming the other talons/houses as he should, he (probably spitefully) picks the venatori. or maybe he just thought it would be easier. ugh he makes me want to telekenetically throw him around

The Gryffindor stands were buzzing with energy as the players zoomed onto the Quidditch pitch. 

Up in the commentator’s box, Remus Lupin adjusted the enchanted microphone and smiled. “Welcome to today’s match: Gryffindor versus Slytherin!” His voice echoed over the stadium. “Let’s hope no one dies today, yeah?”

McGonagall was shaking her head exasperatedly beside him.

Remus sighed. The introductions were always the most boring part. “On the Gryffindor side, we have Alex Brown, Mackenzie Glen, and James Potter, Chasers. Our Beaters are Sirius Black and Marlene McKinnon, and Cassidy West and Noah Logsden as Keeper and Seeker respectively.”

Sirius tilted his broom in a mock bow towards the dirty blonde when Remus said his name.

“On the Slytherin side,” the werewolf continued, “we have Dorcas Meadowes, Mark Sanders, and Darcy Avery as Chasers, Kim Johnson and Carmilla Rivers as Beaters, Jackson Mulciber as Keeper, and their Seeker is Regulus Black. Yes, another Black! Because one wasn’t enough, apparently.”

Regulus scowled at the commentary box, adjusting his gloves.

“And they’re off!” Remus announced as Madam Hooch blew her whistle. The players soared into the air, James immediately snatching the Quaffle.

“Potter has the Quaffle- shockingly, not his biggest achievement today. He managed to  not fall on his face this morning, folks. It’s a miracle.”

James threw him a dirty look as he dodged a Bludger.

“Oh, McKinnon with a fantastic hit! That’s right, show them how Gryffindor Beaters roll.”

Meanwhile, Regulus darted across the pitch. Remus just managed to catch a glimpse of his face before he flew away.

“And there’s the younger Black giving us all a masterclass on brooding while flying. A true Slytherin strategy- if they can’t win, they’ll look better losing.”

James shot toward the goalposts, weaving through the Slytherin defense with Sirius taking out anyone who got too close.

“Potter goes for it- he shoots, he scores!” Remus cheered. “Look at him. So proud of himself. That’s Gryffindor ten, Slytherin zero!”

A few moments passed without any excitement- until a well-aimed Bludger from Sirius sent the Quaffle spiraling out of a Slytherin’s grasp. James dove to intercept.

“Look at older Black and McKinnon proving that teamwork makes the dream work! And Potter- oh, look at that catch! Someone’s showing off.”

Remus watched as Sirius and Regulus crossed paths mid-air, gazes locking briefly before the younger flew away in search of the Snitch.

“And there’s the Black brothers, sharing a tender sibling moment,” the werewolf drawled. “Truly touching. Almost makes you forget they’re trying to knock each other out of the sky.”

James’s next pass was intercepted by a Slytherin Chaser, who charged toward the Gryffindor goalposts.

“Finally, some action from Slytherin! And there goes West, looking vaguely concerned. Can she- oh, no, she can’t. Goal for Slytherin. It’s ten-all, folks!”

A Bludger shot past his friend by mere inches, Sirius swerving out of the way when he saw it hurtling at him. Remus breathed out a breath of relief, announcing, “Sirius Black narrowly avoids a Bludger! Shocking reflexes from a man who tripped over his own feet this morning.”

A cheer sounded as Marlene sent Carmilla reeling with a Bludger to the shoulder.

“McKinnon, good job,” Remus said, his grin audible. “Show those Slytherins who’s boss around here.”

Eventually, Regulus dove for the ground, looking as if he had spotted the Snitch. Noah followed him, but the moment he realized it was a feint, he swerved upwards.

“And Baby Black pulls a Wronski Feint! Probably trying to pull more than that today, if you know what I mean,” Remus remarked with a sly tone.

Despite the chaos, the match pressed on.

“And that’s Potter with another goal- I think his ego is taking over, folks.”

Noah suddenly shot forwards, having spotted the Snitch. Regulus tailed him, but the Gryffindor grabbed it a millisecond before the younger Black brother would have, cinching a win.

Remus leaned back in his chair, smiling. “And that’s the game, folks! Gryffindor takes it, thanks to teamwork, skill, and, let’s face it, sheer dumb luck. Better luck next time, Slytherin. ”

He started a timer in his mind. One, two, three…

Sirius flew right in front of the commentary box, grinning broadly. “I guess that good luck kiss really did work, Moony.”

i’ve definitely said this before but in a universe where shen qingqiu was kind to luo binghe and luo binghe had fallen in love with him, i don’t think bingjiu would happen at all, mostly because shen qingqiu would rather die than get with his own disciple.

there’s already enough false rumours about him perving on his female disciple, i don’t think shen qingqiu would want to prove them right by getting with his youngest disciple.

I'm a JayVik fan, I'm a MelJay fan, and I'm a MelJayVik fan (as well as a fan of all these characters), full disclosure, but it's really annoying how people in this fandom still only use Mel and Jay as props for Viktor, whilst ignoring who they are as characters outside of him. This is especially prevalent in shipping spaces where people will frame MelJay as being boring (they aren't, many people just can't get over themselves enough to see the value between them), to the point where you can hardly find things in their tag without it resorting back to Vik, over JayVik, but then, in turn, hardly add anything of equal value to Jay in JayVik regards, it's all about Viktor or how Jayce needs to make amends and grovel, but nothing of value besides making him the punching bag---something a lot of people in this fandom do (not saying all JayVik shippers do this, just to clarify). Like it's also very telling with the fact that you have two nuanced poc/poc coded (in Jayce's regards) characters, but can't/won't give them equal time of day as their white counterpart unless it's to elevate said counterpart (this is also prevalent in MelJayVik where some still completely push out Mel and make Jay oc just to focus on Viktor, yall are not slick). And this isn't me saying that you can't enjoy either of these ships or characters, nor dislike them, but it doesn't take much to see the flaws (and thinly coded forms of racism and misogynoir) that also play a role in this fandom. It's so frustrating to see.
