but. hmm... let's see. a few of my favorite little (hah) qsmp age regression headcanons, for you?

• pac primarily bunny regresses. mike calls him baby bunny when he does, and it never fails to make him smile.

• and instead of parental caregiver titles, pac calls his favorite caregivers "fitchi," "mikey," and "bitty" (cellbit's title!) respectively :)

• cellbit develops a mild case of separation anxiety when regressed, and becomes paranoid and flighty when he's small and on his own. this is most easily soothed by roier, or badboyhalo, both of whom cellbit feels very safe around, and will cling to whenever he can while regressed.

• cellbit is an involuntary regressor, and he often has to have his regression pointed out to him to realize what's happening, why he feels off that day :( poor kitty

• ooo... cute thought that just came to mind? roier also regresses. sometimes his and cellbit's regression overlap. this leads to them clinging to each other like lifelines and snuggling in a blanket fort or their bed (turned into a nest by cellbit) until they fall asleep. cozy tiny guapoduo...

• phil occasionally makes bird-calls consistent with calling for one's mate. he misses his wife dearly when he feels more like a fledgling than an adult man, but fit never judges him, instead always letting phil make those calls, rubbing his back or brushing fingers through his wings, half-mumbling gentle reassurances.

• tiny cellbit melts into a puddle when he's praised. being told "good job!" or "im proud of you!" or "good boy/kitty!" from whoever he just helped makes his eyes go wide and he always starts smiling, torn between excitedly wiggling around and burying his face in his hands and hiding his embarrassment. he's always so happy he can make someone proud!!

Just this week, I had to interact with extremely racist rhetoric about Asians with a de-ager that genuinely put me in a bad spot mentally, but i dud it becayse i thought that person coud be educated. Since 2021, I've had to watch as droves of people commented & replied & posted racist, xenophobic, biphobic arguments about JayJon simply because they didn't enjoy teen Jon. Arguments saying Jay, who in the story is an immigrant freedom fighter, is a terrorist. Arguments saying Jon right now is better off dead which mocked teen Jon fans for finding any aspect of Jon's bisexuality relatable.

I've been trying to be polite & mostly keeping my thoughts offline the wider Internet & public platforms for YEARS. I know of multiple POC (specifically Asian) Jon & Jay stans who have had to go inactive or delete accounts, because certain people have decided even EXPRESSING, merely saying you like Jon as he is now warrants a witch hunt & microaggressions which they assume is "harmless" because they're unwilling to examine any of their own biases. On top of that, rn many queer DC creatives are also constantly getting harassed and literal war criminals are being upheld as good writers, purely for fanon ship reasons.

Do you have any idea how fucking tiresome it is, to fight conservatives who want my meager rights gone online spewing homophobia because Superman came out, alongside comic fans who gladly take up similar arguments just to get their headcanons to be real? Do you have any idea the mental toll it takes, seeing a character who represents real life struggles of fighting against colonialism who LOOKS so much like thousands of queer POC kids, be called a terrorist & a villain because he is in love with a white character?? Not for any grand reason. SOLELY because he's paired with Jon.

Why should we be nice & polite when all it has gotten me in return is trying to explain to people that hey calling freedom fighters terrorists in a story about US hegemony and saying the bi rep is "not correct" is just fuelling bigotry?

But when teen Jon fans make stupid jokes & give slight pushback, we're the bad guys.

You are not the victim. There's literally thousands of you and like, 10 of us who consistently post. DC comics does not have a grand agenda against you, white boy character enjoyer.

The least we ask for is to leave us alone & just let us enjoy canon Jon in peace but we can't post a meta thread or fanart or fucking ANYTHING without people calling us fake fans & throwing in a little bigoted comment to top it all off. Block us. Again, there's like 10 accounts.

Go through the tumblr tag rn, 90% of it is kid Jon posts. We can't have that fucking 10% though can we? No,that'd be the....idfk the DC agenda of the totally scary homeless freedom fighter boy manipulating the pure, totally powerless white boy who can literally topple nations if he wanted and is a grown man. 👏👏👏👏 congrats, you've identified the Agenda & defeated The Evil by putting down POC characters, their struggles, & looking down upon bi repbecause it diesnt specifically fot your vision of bisexuality or your experience. Ooh that's hard: I think that the fanon version of Grillby is definitely a caregiver!

Three Headcanons:

1- Grillby helps take care of the biokids in Snowden: especially those that are neglected and might need a safe space to shelter, or some extra food on certain weeks

2- as those kids grow up, if they happen to be regressors, Grillby remains a safe space: he remembers the little treats that make them happy

3- his fire isn't actually hot it just tickles when he hugs you so people usually start laughing when he gives them affection and it's not ideal sometimes but at least it helps to cheer regressors up!

Okay so - I know I haven't talked about my flip in depth a lot but he is actually thr bestesy caregiver ever and I love him to death AND because of that I love it when he does anything to me. Especially when it comes to picking my outfits n stuff!! He does my hair sometimes and makes it all cute so I don't really have a favorite! Just whatever my papa thinks is cutest on his little doll (me) =w= BUTTTTT!!!! I do draw myself in the teeniest tiniest pigtails mostly!!! OwO

7. "What's your favorite color?"

ALL OF THEM!!! >:3 (I only like pastels but with the inclusion of vermillion I think kts so fancy and classy and I love the way you say it n how it's spelled :3)

Waaaah!! I never wanna sound full of myself so I dunno if any of the things I do are talents or make me talented QwQ but!! I do think I'm good at some things!! Like drawing, baking stuff and writing!! :> I also love to do makeup and fashion stuff!!

With my sibbies anything like games n stuff to play together!! And we would have matching outfits!!! And we could do a sleepover too!! (Me n my papa live together so every day is the bestest sleepover!) Anything would be okay with me as long as it's super fun with cute clothes!! :D

i have a agere one shot book saved and it had little!jason and cg!lucas (temp bc chrissy was his actual but yknow) and i don’t know how to feel about it(;_;) because on one hand it’s cute and fluffy, but on the other hand he’s a bad person who did some messed up stuff but on the other other hand the writer did a good job and made me want to read more and now i’m stuck:(

i know that jason lowkey wouldn’t like me because i’m weird and black but it was a good fix so i need your opinion since my own is letting me down rn😔

hm...this is a toughie, & woo do i suck at giving advice, but here i go! <3

i actually go through the same thing with billy & steve regression fics, bc in the show those two did not like each other (not to mention all the other messed up things he did in the show - i mean, i know why he did the violent things he did bc of neil, but that doesnt excuse them), but fanfic writers do a really great job at giving him character development & making readers (me included) root for their relationship and billy in general.

the thing is, ficwriters take a messed up character, LITERALLY go "hm ... i can fix them >:]" & do just that - and they do a real swell job hdjsjrjwb it literally gets me going "oooo yes billy you go baby" HDKSHDKD

there's nothing wrong with indulging in fics about bad characters interacting with characters they have hurt in different lights. they guilt may eat away at you - it eats away at me sometimes when i realize im reading harringrove - but fanon exists for a reason. fanon exists for people to warp & morph any character they want for the sake of their fanwork.

canon jason may not like lucas, but fanon jason may lean on him for support when he's small.

if they make you wanna read more, read more of it! canon may say one thing, but fanon can say another. that's not so bad, right? fanon can make interacting with a fan base so much more enjoyable. fanbase interaction is supposed to be fun % enjoyable, & if that means writing a little!jason cg!lucas fic even if jason & lucas don't have the best interactions in canon & giving their relationship more debt in this fanon verse, then that's okay. there's nothing wrong with indulging yourself; you're not a bad or weird person for doing so <3

What if, after a truce, Dream and Nightmare both want to relive their childhoods, due to them being... Not Great?

What if they organise meetings to go back to Dreamtale every so often and role-play a new childhood for themselves

They get to be like kids again? YEAH!

It's a time where they both get to mentally regress, and relive childhood without active trauma this time.
