no it doesn't matter if their fur is bound of fluff or feathers or felt. no it doesn't matter if their noses still shine or if they've gone cloudy with the years of boops and pets given so lovingly. no it doesn't matter if their eyes are of shiny glazed gems, buttons or stitches. what matters is that you love them, and they love you, and that is the power of this secret i tell..

so, laying beside you is your best friend, wrapped up tight in your arms so cuddly and warm; and what you don't know, is those stuffies, ones you love so dearly, are warriors of the night with swords of light, shields of fur and pelts of starlight guarding your dreams in paws and pads, ones your castles do keep. for they are warriors of the night, and you, their favorite delight.

Nesting

if you ever feel stressed or need a cozy place i recommend nesting!

Nesting is a process in which you gather all the things you might need for an extended period of time and put it all in one place. It's about creating a safe, comfortable, and self-contained environment that minimizes the need to break immersion. some types of items that could be good for nesting:

☁️ Your phone/iPad/ laptop/tv remote etc in order to keep yourself entertained with shows

♡ your preferred game console/ controller with the whichever game you wish to play in the console ahead of time

☁️ headphones for those who have sensory issues or just if you like to use them

♡ blankets/pillows/stuffies for extra comfort and cushion!

☁️ coloring books/sketchbook/journal in case you want to be creative

♡ Crayons/markers/colored pencils to use with the things above :)

☁️ Teethers/pacis/bottles and other gear if you use them that way theyre close

♡ Chargers!! theyre soooo important!!! make sure that you have chargers or power banks to keep everything charged up

you can put whatever you like in your nest but these are my recommendations/what i tend to put in mine

🌧thunderstorm⭐

the sky crashed and slammed, jutting swords of silvery light slicing the sky with each mighty growl ringing free of the night beyond your glassy, rain drowned window.

ah, but do not fear, little one. i may have just the solution.

pulling back blankets, propping pillows and planting sticks with ropes strung far and wide between we'll build and plan together, riddling little glowing lights spun so warm and soft to line every creese and seem of the fortress we created together till soon it did stand tall like a tower, a castle, a treehouse of hidden stories, tunes and tales spoken on a screen tucked between cozy sheets.

inside, your companions do await. ones of fur and fluff all posed by the walls deafening each roar and rattle past that window frame that now did too seem to still and settle under the new home we built; sparkling, shimmering, buttery lights weave along the ceiling spilling with delight; pillows soften your path as your knees did lead in. everything you needed, there waiting for you as droning, pitter patters of voices you now watch bundled in blankets do ring out.

there we hide, safe together, letting the storm wage on for us it won't bother. friends, soldiers, protectors we shelter there to defend with a fort ending all growls and screams that do dare echo beyond such walls. there we hide, safe together, sleep dose nag, our eyes start to flutter.

Made this one with some cool little boy blues and greens but of course this room is for any little one that likes it! Featuring some yummie Dino nuggies, a soft blanket that you can throw on top of the table to make your own dino cave, plenty of dino toys to play with, a soft book for reading and stimming with lots of fun textures, some chewies to keep those dino teeth nice and sharp and of course, a dino paci to take a nap with after a full day of fun!
