I imagine most of my Facebook friends unfollowed me because they either don't align with my politics or are annoyed by the whiplash they must get from my posts and sharing.

So I made a meme on the current whiplash they must feel from going between bears, comics, and autistic stuff back to the protests on college campuses in the US and the war in Gaza, only to go back to bears and funny memes and then right back to Gaza.

y'know, the different factions of spn fandom on tumblr do fundamentally and vehemently disagree with each other about a lot of things, and many of the factions actively hate one another, but i just want to say for the record that i appreciate the fact that this site is not overrun with painfully hetero facebook fans. i just saw someone over there saying with their whole chest that they fully expected the finale to have dean meeting jo harvelle in heaven and them getting afterlife married, and someone else angrily responded that this was obviously never going to happen because clearly dean was still in love with lisa braeden who would therefore be his finale bride (i guess this person expected her to die in the finale somehow?), and then someone ELSE responded that they wouldn't want to see either of those things happen because they like to pretend dean is their boyfriend and it would feel like cheating(!!!!) if he ended up with one of them and they'd never be able to fantasize about him anymore. and all of these comments had over a dozen people agreeing with them.

Timmy is more of a socialite than a friend-getter. He can easily make connections with others, and can slip into established groups and create a dynamic with them! The kind of guy who is always invited to events but not related to anyone.

People are angry because everyone who voted Trump actively voted against human rights for those outside of the Cisgender, White, Heterosexual group and you guys aren't accepting that. Sometimes I think to myself "actually maybe I'm exaggerating the terror I felt from being stalked", but then I remember that the person in question followed me and waited for me outside my school every day, tracked me down on every website I'd spent even the slightest time on, left physical letters in my mailbox, sent creepy as hell novel length messages on a near daily basis on FB. And then when I was living abroad and I answered the phone I told the caller to text me cause I couldn't hear, after which I had to read "I was saying that you would probably be VERY scared if you knew who's calling... hehe" with my own damn fucking eyes...

And then I'm like yknow what nevermind!!!! the fact that I'm still terrified of being perceived and seen in public not just IRL but also FFXIV might be understandable actually!!!

sorry but nobody in the buffyverse is good at videogames, with maybe select exceptions like tara and oz. some of them are decent (but not necessarily good) simply by virtue of having grown up with them (ie. riley, xander, gunn). of those people, xander tries the hardest, is the sorest loser, and is also mechanically the worst (i say this affectionately).

buffy does not play games except when she's invited once and crushes everyone because of her Slayer Instincts but she doesn't even realize the significance of what she's done. xander and riley challenge her to rematches where they get their asses handed to them over and over again, and eventually buffy's like, "okay guys it's not fun if you're losing to me on purpose" and doesn't believe them when they insist they're not.

frankly angel should not play or even comprehend videogames. angel is playing tetris and leaning his body to move the blocks. once he smashed a donkey kong arcade machine in a fit of rage and then got extremely embarrassed about it. he was not meant to game until the advent of farmville and candy crush saga.

Legit friendly PSA/reminder that this is just Tumblr, and there are a lot of reasons why people, I included, do not go into specific details about personal life/relationships/family on here. I know I talk A LOT more than “normal” people about my life and struggles on here, but I am very careful about what I post and for specific reasons I do not need to explain to anyone.

Tumblr is probably the creepiest social media I’m on, and a lot of people tend to forget how fucking scary the internet is for women. There is a 99% chance that if I talk to you on here often, we will remain friends on Tumblr only. This is literally no offense to anyone at all, I don’t even have some of my old coworkers I knew in person on my socials, and having people I simply don’t know well on my personal socials is not something I will ever change. I am simply doing this to keep myself and my family/relationships/personal life safe.

I have had people on here try to find me on other socials, try to find where I live, get mad when I don’t want to tell them exactly who I work for, etc, etc. and it’s fucking scary. There is no need to know these things about someone at all, especially someone you met online that lives hours/days away.

Please respect my decisions to not talk about certain things on here, not tell you my full/legal name (yes, people have gotten mad at me because they think they are entitled to know my “real” name), not tell you what company I work for, not want to tell you my personal socials, etc.

Like, is this wrong of me to think this way or….
