Had a weird political dream where a new party showed up and they wore white (since the other two wear red and blue). They claimed to be here for all Americans and when asked about foreign affairs the guy just shrugged and said he wasn't too interested in that.

After some time, posters for the "Federalcrats" as they called themselves began to pop up and it was stuff like those old political cartoons. One of the ones I can vividly remember had the caption "Hold em by the nose while we kick em in the ass!" And it was a picture if a very large Jeff Besos being held by his nose by a bunch of people holding "boycott" signs while one of the federalcrats was getting ready to kick him in the bum with a shoe labeled "proper regulation"

Invasion of the body snatchers ass movie but from the perspective of a right wing conspiracy nut who assumes that as a result of Earth being elected into a Utopian Federation of socialist planets , they are all actually replacing people with aliens. Sometimes I think the funniest part about being a history student is the fact that when discussing politics, we talk about parties.

I'm constantly let down by the fact it's not a bunch of old guys fuckin it up under some wild disco lights and drinking like fifty beers as they sign some coalition treaty

Not so fun fact about WW II

Jews only made up one percent of the population back then and were used as scapegoats by the NS-regime (obvi). But not many people know the prejudices that were used to demonize them and its honestly so stupid. They were called communists and capitalistic. AT THE SAME TIME. For those who dont know: Communistic people and partys where ostracized from Hitler since day one. Communism means abolition of the estate society and sharing goods. So no poverty and no super-rich. Communism could be called the opposite of capitalism (our current system, everything for f*ucking money and capitsl).

Still Jews where called both, just to put all blame on them that could be found. They were said to be greedy but at the same time were called representatives of Marxism. Sense? No. Plus they were called pacifistic too. Pacifism basically means against violance. Apparently being against violance is a bad thing (sarcasm).

Im a student from germany (so my apologies for typos, bad grammer ect) and I'd like to know if american kids are taught WW2 like we are taught (e.g: every year, in detail, critical classifications, the years before and after the war ect)/ gen question

Me: No, see, "equity" doesn't mean that. It means we focus on the end goal, equal access. Like, you know how we give pedestrians the right of way on the road, since they're the most vulnerable group? And as the ones with the most protection and ability to cause harm, drivers take on the highest responsibility for keeping the roads safe?

American conservatives: Good point, we should give cars the right of way since they're big and fast and they've earned it.
