Tidalic & Lunaric Attraction

Tidalic attraction is a type of attraction that describes being drawn to someone the way the ocean is drawn to the moon. Like waves crashing against the shore, trying to get high enough just to touch or be near the object of their desire/obsession/etc.

Lunaric attraction is a type of attraction that describes wanting to draw someone in the way the moon draws the tides. Like the moon pulling the ocean higher and higher, longing for the slim chance of ever truly connecting.

SLEDERIC

A term to describe individuals who are attracted to men in both a queer or gay way and a non-queer or gay way. This can be for any reason; including being multigender, non-binary or genderfluid, having a fluid sexuality, etc. A counterpart to Strelian.

I did not technically coin this term. It was coined by the original coiner of Strelian. They had mentioned coining this at some point in the coining post of its counterpart. However, they have since left the community and their blogs have been archived. From what I can see, they never made a post for this term, but they gave it a name and a simple description.

According to the coiner, Strelian was made as an alternative for the term Straight Lesbian with a clearer yet similar meaning. I'm assuming Slederic is supposed to be the same but for Straight Gay/Veldian/Vincian/etc.

For all extensive purposes, this is just a flag for the term and if they at some point return to the MOGAI or LIOM communities, they have the full right to make a post of their own with their own flag. Strelian just really resonated with me and I really wanted to have a flag for this term to throw into my hoard.

If the original coiner sees this and prefers I take this post down, I'll do it no questions asked.

The strangest part about my trans experience is being nervous to come out as straight

I've been an out lesbian for years now, everyone who knows me knows I'm a lesbian....but now I'm a straight man? How do I tell people that....

Also, just coming to terms with it. Being a lesbian is huge to me, being a dyke is who i am, but im a man now. How do i come to terms with that? Im starting to accept that i can be a man and a dyke. That my trans experience does not cancel out my years as a lesbian. But with the amount of identity politics going around, its hard to explain to myself, let alone others, that i am a straight man, and i am also a raging queer dyke.
