Perks of being disabled and multigender, theres almost always a bathroom available. Womens is engaged? Mens. Mens is engaged? Accessible? Accessible is engaged? Womens or mens. Its rare that all three are engaged so i always have a bathroom available to me.

I especially love when theres a gender neutral bathroom cause people are so scared of a trans person in the bathroom that theyd rather wait in a long line than just piss in the neutral bathroom. Theres a mall near me with a whole block of neutral bathrooms thats always empty even when both gendered bathrooms have lines out the door 🤷

So I actually am bi! I just also use the labels lesbian and gay. I use the label lesbian to describe how i am attracted to women in the way a woman is (sapphic/wlw) and also i am mostly attracted to women, to the point where lesbian is almost more accurate than any bi label. I use the label gay as well though! This is more an umbrella term for me, as i wouldnt really (pt: really) say i'm gay, due to the above mention of mostly liking women. However!! I do use the term gay for myself as an umbrella term / equivalent to achillean. I would use achillean but like...that doesnt sound nearly as flowy next to bi and lesbian like lesbigay does, and also a lot of people have no clue what that is! And i use achillean/gay to mean attracted to men in the same way mean are / mlm. I use both sapphic and achillean because i'm bi and multigender, and my attraction is gay no matter who it's towards.

And yeah im a lesboy idrk how to explain that but like my attraction to women will always be gay no matter how much i transition, hence lesboy. I use lesbian as a social description too, because no matter how i identify i will be treated as a lesbian in society.

TLDR: i am bi, i use lesbian and gay to narrow down my experience, but at the end of the day i am bi.

Aquariums and zoos are always hit or miss. I love both but sometimes they can be really overstimulating. It was so sad going to the one in Sydney because i couldnt even see the animals there were so many people :( luckily this one was fantastic! I think because i went on a weekday afternoon it was good. With zoos i always go early on a weekday so no one else is there ! Its also perfect cause the penguins get fed at opening time so i can always see them :3

And yes! Doctor who exhibit! It's an international one i think? I'm pretty sure it started in the UK and did a stop over here! I wish i could go back, it was so fun. I'll put some pictures!

I went to the aquarium today. It was amazing. In fact, i walked around happy stimming the entire time. I haven't been that happy since i went to the doctor who exhibition last year! I got stared at a lot though. Some people whispered. I walked around with a toddlers dinosaur backpack, headphones, and clutching an american girl doll. I also, like mentioned before, was visibly happy stimming the whole time. Audibly too.

Yk what tho? While i did notice the people looking, i really didnt care. I had the best time!!! I was swaying and happy flapping and humming and getting real close to look at things and i LOVED IT ! I also got to spend a day out with my doll, which i dont get to do a lot !

Let this be your sign to allow yourself autistic joy. If you can, try to ignore the looks you get. They are judging your happiness? How sad for them! How sad that someone's visible joy makes them uncomfortable. Let yourself express how happy you are!

A lot of autism can suck. From meltdowns to anxiety to self harm to a whole range of other things. Autistic joy is one of the few wonderful things we are blessed with and i love it and i think you should too. Isnt it beautiful that we feel joy so strongly that it literally bursts out of our bodies? Isnt it beautiful that we love things so passionately that we cant help but ramble about them constantly?

All of this is to say, let yourself express autistic joy when/if you can. It is a wonderfully unique experience and boy does it do wonders for your mental health !

I will end with a video i took of a stingray. I was bouncing and flapping and humming and smiling very wide while filming this (i have no idea how the video isnt beyond blurry from how much i was moving). I hope it brings you joy too :3

When i say i love possums, I don't mean this (even though they're cute)

They are the silliest of lil guys and i lub them !!!! I knew someone who raised one and it was the cutest wee (small) bean ! I have a few possum skins too and theyre sooooo soft. I will get a full taxidermy one day ! They're easy to get cause possums are pests in my country so it's actually good to k!ll them (in as humane a way as possible of course) to protect native wildlife , they're also very common roadkill. In fact, i have a fursona who is a possum called Roadkill! Wanna see him? Warning for slight gore/disturbing imagery
