How big is that forehead?

We all know Vasily has big, kissable forehead, right? But where exactly is his hairline?

Before the duel he has his cap on, so we do not see it:

After the duel we might get a glipse on this panel:

And after joining Sugimoto's group he always has his hair down (with or without his cap):

So all I'm saying is, he could be half bald with his hair brushed forward and we wouldn't know.

The fearless hero and the "clumsy" witch

"Ehh, finally done, huh?", Kagami chuckled. The remaining few guys grabbed their weapons and ran away as quickly as they were able, shouting something about revenge on her.

Like if they could stop her. Kagami grabbed her weapon as well and was ready to leave. The camp they had set up was disturbing the peace for a day or two by then and she gladly took the commission to shoo them away. Those bandits, they were getting closer and closer to the town. Kagami sighed and decided to go back and claim her rewards, when a crack of a branch and a thud caught her attention. She looked to the side where the noise was coming from.

In front of her eyes, on the other side of the brook, a woman was lying on the rocks. The sun of the dusk made her dark skin shine in the light and her dress looked as if it was about to rip from the friction against the rocks. Her long navy hair cascaded down her shoulders onto the ground, making it seem as if she was blending in with the waves of the river.

A goddess, Kagami thought, as she was walking towards her. She left her weapon on the shore - the woman in front of her seemed to be one of the villagers. Did she get kidnapped by those bandits? Or maybe lost in the forest, with no way to come home because of the camp? It didn't matter, Kagami smiled. She would love to save her, bring her into the town and be her hero.

She placed her shoe against the edge of the brook and kept her hand out for the divine beauty to grab, while she stared and adores her from up close. The dress the woman was wearing was long and shiny - satin? But wasn't it expensive and hard to get to the town? She must have been the daughter of one of the rich families. Perfect, Kagami thought. Maybe bringing her back to her home would be enough to hopefully get a date with her. The woman slid down the rock onto the ground as she kept staring at Kagami.

"Fear no more", Kagami cleared her throat, "as I have come to save you."

Too cheesy? Probably, but Kagami regretted the first words only after they were spoken. The woman looked at her hand then back at Kagami's face and spoke for the first time with her melodic voice.

"You're the hero?"

Kagami smiled brightly. "That would be correct, my lady. Such a gorgeous dress, it would be a shame if it got destroyed. Would you allow me to carry you to the other side in my arms, then?"

The woman stared at her, then sighed and clenched her fist. The next thing Kagami knew was the agonizing pain in her back and head, and the broken tree behind her falling to the side. She gasped for air, trying to figure out what had just happened.

"So you're the one who fought, injured and killed my men?", a cold, furious growl got to her ears. Kagami opened her eyes and looked around, trying to find the clumsy woman from the other side of the river. She had to grab her weapon and save her, there was danger right next to her—

Her eyes met a witch standing right in front of her. A gorgeous witch with long navy hair, wearing a satin dress, ready to cast yet another spell onto her and throw her at yet another tree.

Oh no... Was it a trap all along?! Besides... How was Kagami meant to fight someone so hot...?!

I'm not a "new musical theatre style music" person. Never have been.

Even when I was doing voice lessons, I'd steer towards the golden age or jazzy musical theatre songs. My voice teacher would have to drag me kicking and screaming towards adding anything new musical theatre to my repertoire. For a while, the most modern song in my book was I Know The Truth from Aida, and I wouldn't count that as new musical theatre style since I mean more the Pasek&Paul or Joe Iconis type.

And now I have an audition coming up for a small production of a show in that style and I'm supposed to sing a song in a similar style. And I'm looking at all my sheet music like... let me do some Cole Porter... or Gershwin... at least Sondheim please...

18. What are you currently trying to improve on?

oh my god time management holy shit i just spent literally 2 weeks with poor sleep and doing my homework at dumb hours and last minute and it was the worst, i woke up today at 8:30am after spending all night working on homework for a class at 10:30am today. i went to bed at 7am. i regret it. but also i don't because i got my work done and now i probably will pass that class. i never want to do that again. all of my homework is drawing. at least my drawings are sexy as fuck but holy shit at what cost, i need to have better time manageme--

anyways that's not what the question is asking. there's two things!!! im trying to improve on my speed at which i draw, and like. getting things on the page instead of just like. thinking about about it Really HardTM. i've been getting much much better at Just Drawing lately and im super proud of myself!!!

in terms of actual drawing type things, im trying to get better at comic paneling and flow!! like. how to make a comic/illustration be readable and still interesting to look at!!! or even WONDERFUL to look at!!! im doing pretty decent at making a piece be readable, and preventing the viewer from looking at the wrong panel at the wrong time, but im still working out how to direct the eye around the page and make it fun while doing so. i think it's just a matter of using the negative and positive spaces constructively to make something that looks REALLY really cool, but i haven't super been able to put it into practice effectively yet. im working on it!!!!

i think reading a lot of kids comics before i dipped into marvel was both good and bad bc like i have experienced such a diverse range of art-styles and approaches to character design and now every single x men comic looks exactly the same :|

watching the crow (1994) was funny because i don't think i knew it was a comic book adaption beforehand (or i forgot) but you can just kind of tell at a certain point. there's just an air about it
