What if Penelope was pregnant when Odysseus went off to war. Like newly newt pregnant so no way they could have known. Telemachus was AT LEAST a couple months old by that point and there wouldn’t have been reliable birth control (yes including breast feeding that doesn’t actually work as much as some people think it does even today) so it IS plausible. And that would mean when Sirenelope told Ody to “come play with me and our daughter” she wouldn’t exactly have been WRONG. Imagine after WYFILWMA if Penelope had said daughter come to be introduced to her dad. Yes this is solely for the feels. You saw/heard the Telemachus reunion tell me this man WOULDN’T fall to his KNEES here
