I understand! Things I do in line with this concept include:

- using my nice serving dishes at least once a week. I put the frozen taquitos in the oven and then place them in a nice pattern on my fancy serving tray instead of just putting the cooking pan on the table.

- I buy really cheap lotion and soap, but it goes into a pretty dispenser bottle. It feels nicer for some reason.

- I pour cheap juice into my crystal punch bowl for parties. I bought it for my wedding and I like using it even though I don’t want to spend a lot of money on drinks.

- dollar tree candles in pretty vintage candle holders.

-Arizona tea in a glass pitcher

Using my nice things on average days instead of making myself save them for the “right occasion”.

one thing no one ever teaches you is that you can just make things nicer and more intentional- you can take your energy drink, pour it in a rocks glass over ice with a slice of lime on the rim, and sip it slow. and you'll think, "wow i am the biggest faggot to have ever lived". and you know what? you're right.
