Hi! Can you explain when in the timeline the Farmer Rand scene takes place? Is it before S1E8 cold open or after? Also at that point had Lews broken up with Meirin or did that come later? Thanks!!

Farmer Rand was 3000 years ago and the vision showed Mierin drilling the Bore and releasing the Dark One. It’s before the 1x8 cold open and after Lews and Mierin broke up.

really loving how the common theme of season 3 so far is duty. Egwene “my duty is to the light, not to you,” Rand traveling to the aiel waste to fulfill his duty as the car’a’carn, Aviendha being forced to give up the spears and go to Rhuidean, Elayne refusing to go back to Andor because of her duty to the light and andor’s future, Lan being confronted by his duty to Malkier by Melindhra, Nynaeve staying at the Tower to break her block, Mat & Min’s conversation about using their gifts/curses for good, Moiraine learning she has a duty to Rand and not just the Dragon. I mean I could go on
