Rage and/or Paresse being deathly nervous at doctors offices to the point they like. Can't talk.

Mizho and/or Fusataro going with them and trying to help keep them calm, but answering questions for them when they can't talk any more.

Holding their hand when they have to have blood drawn or any injections.

Comforting them afterwards and distracting them with something fun.

On the topic of emotional support monsters: service vampire with a Reader who has a blood related disease (like anemia).

You turn to your undead partner, who has been nudging you relentlessly for the past ten minutes.

“I’m presently talking to someone”, you confess, somewhat irritated by the persistence.

“My beloved”, they begin, lowering themselves to your ear level and continuing in a discreet whisper: “I believe you need to lay down, or you may soon feel dizzy.”

They take another hearty breath from your uncovered neck.

“Oh yes, I’m certain. Sit down, and I’ll bring you some sugary treats.”

On one hand, Young Justice is kind of neglected by the actual superheroes that should be looking out for them in a lot of crucial ways and very much failed by the adults around them

But on the other hand Red Tornado straight up hosts a parent-teacher conference where their respective legal guardians all show up, barring Batman who’s in traffic so Nightwing fills in instead because Robin’s dad does not know he’s a vigilante which is objectively hilarious

Have there been times the Turner parents have suspected something but shrugged it off?

They have never suspected Timmy Turner of anything! Despite often expressing regret or disappointment, they still very much love their son! And all the benefits he brings them!!

The Turners are a well established family in the neighborhood. It wouldn't bode them well to go around casting doubt against their own son. It'd affect their reputation terribly!

Emotional support humans

In this au the war ended before humanity got involved in it but for one reason or another we still find out about the bots. Standard fist contact stuff happens you know but the bots eventually realize how much calmer they are around humans.

Bots find it hard to go into statis when there's a high likelihood of being attacked in your sleep, but with humans those worries seem to just melt away. It's kinda weird to them to feel protected by a very small organic creature. Regardless stuff like this keeps happening so seeing an economic opportunity humans created "Flesh therapy." (Everyone thinks it's a terrible name but it was the one that stuck)

Flesh therapy could be but not limited to: cable straightening, therapy sessions, human cuddling, car washes, becoming living fidget toys or the main thing live in human therapy dogs.

It will vary but usually a human will live most of the time with a bot (the company will provide basic necessities) and help them through daily life. They have their own vest with cybertronian writing and a government issued work id.

Pss. Can we rent a monster to keeping us out depression? A safety net, they say? We sign with a list of tastes and activities that force us to interact with the world and they can use it as suggestion. Open possibilities for relationships.

Imagine keeping a monster as an emotional support pet.

You ring the service, explain the situation, and the next day they ship you some ghoulish, nightmare creature to keep you out of your misery. It takes care of you, joins you places, and frequently compliments you and offers you words of encouragement.

You show up at some party and someone asks with a trembling voice if the beast following you around is some sort of bodyguard. In reality, it occasionally whispers “you’re doing great” and cuddles you if you’re overwhelmed, overstimulated, or sad. “K-kind of”, you respond.

Bonus: you wonder out loud if you should continue the arrangement, feeling like a burden, or doubting the genuine intentions. The monster fidgets in a nervous panic, unsure how to tell you that it has been following you long before your call, and begged the service to send it as your emotional support. Without sounding creepy, that is. It just wanted to help, you see?
