Test tube and Fan hide out in a now-abandoned radio station, and have been trying to contact other survivors using it. The two knew eachother for years before the outbreak began.

They manage to reach PB and Lightbulb, who they end up sticking with for a while. Sharing resources, thinking of a way out of the city, etc.

adding onto the 'how are the contestants viewed by the public' idea, if ii is viewed as scripted (because of how often reality shows are scripted or atleast less real than they make themselves seem, usually to get more drama out of it) it'd be interesting to see the canonical fandom of ii, whatever size it may be, act like a fandom basically, ships, fanart, aus ect. The reaction to the fandom would definitely depend on the character, I mean, Marshmallow and Taco don't like the show so I doubt they'd be big fans of the fandom either objects like Clover might be flattered and for some it would depend how they acted or what parts of the show they were talking about (eg: I don't think Pickle would enjoy Paco content, no hate to people who ship it obviously I want to atleast make that clear, but if you put Paco fanart/fanfic/whatever infront of canon Pickle he would really enjoy it)

Oh yeah, once the contestants breach containment (leave the island, if they so chose), they'll certainly have an interesting time meeting the ii fandom. The reaction would definitely depend on the character, and what kind of fans they meet. Marsh and Taco would not want to be around fans. Clover would think it was quite fun! Pickle would probably not have a great time with Paco content, you're correct. He might even see some people online upset with him about not forgiving Taco, which would NOT help him feel any better about her presence. Frankly, Knife might tell her about these people and she herself would step in to tell them to back off. Fan would cry having people who are fans of him and also buy every piece of Test Tube & Bot merchandise there is. He'd pay like 200 euros for a custom Egg plush. I've seen quite a few people say Painty helped them with their own self-discovery, and I think that would make them quite happy, yeah?

It's just the little label they put on some tubes in labs
