He didn't do this that often. Even with his mom's pro legalization stance, she always asked him to be careful, they have to cater to some of the moderates if they want to win reelection.

Can we just talk abt the scene in ggbb where ravi saw pip covered in stanleys blood and ran over to her.

Like im imagining him squeezing through the crowd after he saw the fire, and when he wasn’t able to find pip imagine how panicked he probs felt bc he probs thought smth happened to her. And then imagine the relief he felt when he saw she was alive but then the relief being washed over with panic again when he saw the blood on pip, stanley’s body, the grass covered in blood, and how terrified pip looked.

Okay, hear me out:

so i lowkey gave up on the agggtm adaptation after finishing episode 3 of the series. i was at the very middle of the show, and so disappointed by all the unnecessary changes they'd made from the books, and the snowball pacing was doing nothing to engage me whatsoever, in fact it was one more reason that i turned away from it. the only thing redeeming i think i found was the dynamics of pip's friend group. it was fun whenever they were all on screen together.

i heard someone online talk about pip and ravi's chemistry together being another redeeming point, and i thought about adding that as well, but looking back it was only okay, nothing out of the world. the fact that they were spending a lot of time alone together probably helped this person believe that their chemistry was excellent, when it was only fine. the actors tried their best, of course, but they are also very young and i personally think they were having a hard time conveying the kind of under the surface tension i would've loved to see.

lastly, i also heard someone online say that stanley forbes just never showed up. that was probably the most crushing thing i heard in the time after episode 3 and about to go on to episode 4, eventually stopping me from continuing because stanley is my man yo. you can't do me like this. you can't literally handpick one of the most memorable and important characters from the books and just kick them to them to the curb. even if stanley does end up hopefully inevitably in season 2, which i don't know yet if there will be one, it seems very sucky to me that he wasn't there at all this season, when the show is just taking off.

now although i have more to say from the first three episodes i saw of a good girl's guide to murder, i will refrain from doing that because incorporating all those things into this post will take a lot of time and make it so much longer. also, i'm waiting on the premiere of the umbrella academy season 4, if that wasn't already crystal clear enough from my last post, and will be pouncing on it the moment it's available, so i can't scar this beautiful waiting time by writing down and explaining the flaws of a show i didn't like, in length.

that'll be all. i do think i will complete watching a good girl's guide to murder someday, most probably if there's a season two later on, because then i'll need to know the show's altered version of what happened before. if there never comes a season 2 after all, then it's really in the hands of fate if i finish agggtm or not.

i will probably end up doing it though, like five years down the line. i can't handle unfinished shows, or anything else. see y'all.

Things I hope to see in the AGGGTM show

Since we now have confirmation that AGGGTM will be released in the Spring (in UK I believe this is March-June; feel free to correct me if I'm wrong), here are things I hope to see!

Pip's "Talk Nerdy to Me" shirt - It's in my username! We must see it!

Zach Chen screen time - Since he didn't do much in the book, I hope to see what he'll do in the series. I do worry that they've merged Ant with Zach since Ant isn't anywhere to be seen in the show and I don't think I can handle Zach being mean. Also, I LOVE Raiko Gohara!

Flashbacks from five years ago - Andie and Sal's relationship, the fight with Elliot and Andie, etc.

Pip calling Stanley Forbes a racist intolerant dickhead - Ngl I'm worried that Stanley has been cut since we never got any news about his casting. A part of me thinks that they're saving him for s2 as you literally can't do Good Girl, Bad Blood without him, thus making him an off-screen character that appears briefly.

More Connor Reynolds - This is partly because I'm in love with Jude Morgan-Collie. Also, because Connor is my favourite character (he's just like me ❤️).

Cara and Pip friendship - That little clip we saw in that video from the bbc of Pip and Cara jumping into the lake makes me hope that we'll get more of them in the show.

Mentions of Jamie Reynolds - Since Jamie is a core character in ggbb, I hope we get mentions of him in the first season. It doesn't have to be anything major; it can just be Connor mentioning him in conversation. I JUST WANT JAMIE REYNOLDS ALREADY 😭

Cara and Pip comforting Lauren after her breakup with Tom - This would be so sweet to see. I don't like Lauren because of ggbb but this would be such an adorable scene to include.

Sal and Ravi flashbacks - I LOVE SAL AND RAVI PLEASE INCLUDE SCENES OF THEM BEFORE SAL DIED 😭

Steph/Cara - If Steph isn't in the show, then I'll cry. She makes my girl Cara happy so I love Steph! If we don't get Steph though... I wouldn't mind Lauren x Cara...

Cara outright stating she's a lesbian - this is just to stop the Cara/Connor shippers. Guys, Cara is clearly a lesbian and Connor is in love with Zach Chen. Stop shipping them 🥰

Zach x Connor - this is literally for me y'all. I just think it would be really neat!

Andie and Sal flashbacks - PLEASEEE I WANNA SEE THEM THRIVING BEFORE THEY DIED. RAHUL AND INDIA ARE SO CUTE TOGETHER PLEASE GIVE ME CUTE SCENES BETWEEN THEM IN FLASHBACKS.

Max Hastings slander - EVERY DAMN SECOND I WANNA SEE MAX GET SLANDERED. No hate to Henry Ashton though! Love Henry but not Max (if you like Max then get tf away from me).

No Body No Crime as the theme song - this probably won't happen since Taylor Swift's music is expensive to use, but a girl can dream.

Well, happier for some than for others, it seems. Eagan Connolly is raising quite the fuss about the disappearance of someone named Will Monroe—details are light on who exactly Will is but apparently he's known to some as a local prostitute. If you see her hobbling around, maybe keep a wide berth, since they’ve been heard muttering to themselves in public. If it was something worth worrying about, the police or Mayor Nat herself would have informed us, of course.

We have multiple witnesses having seen what looked like a very upset Christopher Winters and a very concerned Jim Dunford in town the other day. They were arguing about what sounded like a cheeky New Years Eve kiss that they shared. Jim seemed to be trying to placate Christopher, who was not having it, shoving the man away and stalking off. No news yet as to whether Emma Dunford is aware of this. For all we know, this might be her way of having her cake and eating it too. Christopher and Emma are also expecting a child, which begs the question, is now really the time to try something new?

Speaking of their upcoming adoption, the baby’s birth mother has also been on her own romantic adventure. Josie Reigh and Gabriel Westfall are official, at least if the people overhearing her referring to him as her boyfriend are to be believed. The two seem to be quite happy with each other. Alas, not everyone seems to be as over the moon as they are. Nico Garcia stills seems hung up over Miss Reigh, which is no surprise, since he always was the more sensitive brother. He has repeatedly been seen intoxicated at the Sasquatch and was even heard propositioning one of their bartenders. One lucky contender who took him up on the offer is Jessica Sinclair. That girl's taste has always been questionable—but perhaps this is the one who will break her streak of heartbreak?

The younger Garcia brother isn't the only one moping and drinking his sorrows away at the bar. Theodore Collins has become the latest member of the lonely hearts club. Many have remarked he's been overly temperamental at work with some adding in that he and Kirby have officially called it quits. However, seems they're both quick to move on. Theodore was spotted hitting on Morgan Vovk, who took him home "as a friend"—you can take that as you will. Meanwhile, Kirby has been seen multiple times leaving the drive-in with Edward Langston. Now, sonsidering he should be focused on helping raise his goddaughter, you would think he'd reconsider his priorities. Kirby is fun but they're hardly the person you'd want around when you're trying to be responsible.
