Got bored and decided to do the doors as a small project, but it ended up being a bit larger than needed for a size, so it ended up becoming a medium card instead or rather it ended up the size of a medium card in regards to that it needed to be multiple layers. Regardless, still working on something else in the mind. It’s complicated, but I was thinking perhaps a little smallish thing. Haven’t exactly started on another idea, still thinking of something.

Had to pause with the book stuff to make a few Christmas presents for the younger kids. You can do some pretty cool stuff with an old 2x4 and some left over leather scraps. My eldest made them all matching Dunedain cloaks to go with their swords. They'll be quite the crew.

I've been working on this chainmail shirt for about 3 months now. It's slowly coming together and I will be needing it for a Lord of the Rings cosplay.

I’m still a beginner and I’ll probably start hating them by tomorrow lol

The first one (green) is inspired by the fellowship of the ring, the second one is inspired by the elves ✩°｡‘(* · * )

So I found this stick on a beach in Oregan and decided to bring it with me on the plane all the way back home. (And yes it looked hilarious coming down the conveyor belt with all the rest of the luggage)

Anyway, I brought it back so I could turn it into a wizard staff. Because look at how cool this thing looks.

I wanted to carve some kind of message into the wood. And because I'm a Supernatural fan, I was thinking some kind of enochian sigil or something. Or perhaps a quote from Good Omens, Lotr or The Hobbit.

I'm having trouble figuring out ideas to do, I really wanna carve some kind of sigil that's for sure but idk what I want it to say.

So I'm open to any ideas. I figured if anybody would have any cool ideas it'd be all the Tumblr nerds lol. Feel free to leave any suggestions in the replies! 🧙‍♂️

Progress on the warhammer board! Foam is down and landforming has begun!

First were two soon-to-be rivers, carved with great difficulty. They will be made more aesthetic when the time comes for modelling compound to be slapped on it.

Tonight’s actual work was a lot of raised land,l. Cut using a wire cutter (with probably not enough ventilation) and currently sitting without glue on top of the table, as I have not totally decided on positioning for everything.

Anduril - flame of the west, or maybe better known as Aragorns sword transformed into a hairstick! 🔥🗡️🗡️ I soo enjoyed this project, as any time I wear it, my nerdy soul feels soothed 😊 I am getting a comments from colleagues, if “they should be scared of me”, but that’s the price of sneaking fantasy into corporate setting 🤷‍♀️ Made of fully from weaved silver plated copper wires.

Its perfect for dramatic release of hair in one swoop! 😁

I made my wigs interview design into a shirt and a very sweet person sent me pictures of them wearing it with Elijah Wood and Dominic Monaghan :’)

apparently they absolutely loved it and lost their minds. I hope I can get one to them someday :’)

Still a long way to go with the pattern of Adars breastplate *sigh*

I decided to include a seam in the center to make it fit my body a little bit better, i'll fill it in and sand it until it's not visible anymore but the effect will be worth it i think.

Having to work with very little reference material due to the non-existent lighting in this show is not easy... ( ╥ω╥ ) Also still shopping around for ideas on how to make his chainmail... Those tiny elven chain rings are no joke and i do not have the patience to craft a whole knee-length chainmail out of them. (⇀‸↼‶)
