Melinoe from Hades 2 inspired necklace/coronette! 😁 I am currently obsessed with playing first part through netflix but osmosis of internet showed me what the new addition is all about and I felt so inspired by seeing her stunning design that I had to make something!

Anduril - flame of the west, or maybe better known as Aragorns sword transformed into a hairstick! 🔥🗡️🗡️ I soo enjoyed this project, as any time I wear it, my nerdy soul feels soothed 😊 I am getting a comments from colleagues, if “they should be scared of me”, but that’s the price of sneaking fantasy into corporate setting 🤷‍♀️ Made of fully from weaved silver plated copper wires.

Its perfect for dramatic release of hair in one swoop! 😁

WI(E)P - work in endless progress 🥲 I started working on this idea for a Hogwarts emblem stitched pillow in October and it is still not even close to done! 😵 I am starting to understand how things like carpets or bed linens could have been family heairlooms 😵 the grid is 200x205 squares and even though many are white it is still taking forever to make any real progress! At least it is starting to roughly resemble what I was going for! 💪🐍

Watched a great talk today about web/technology accessibility, and the speaker pointed out that yes, accessibility is important for people with permanent disabilities, and we should definitely care about that. But also accessibility helps EVERYBODY, because everybody will, at some point in their lives, find themselves in situations that accessible technology can help with. Here are permanent, temporary, and situational disabilities that accessible technology can help with:

Remember that whether something is disabling or not depends on the situation, the environment, the technology, etc. We’re ALL disabled at some point. It is important to support permanently disabled people, but it is also important to remember that accessibility helps us all!
