I like the idea of Tourniquet being there for the bonding peroid with the second set of triplets simply because he can't be kept away and it was deemed unwise to atempt. After the Soundwave check that no spy, Camians are Just Like That™️, Soundwave is making sure he's sent for. Probably by putting a seguestion in Kaon's audial.

The DJD has a time with this. Vos may have fallen in love. Nickel approves of his bedside maner. The bitties are happy to be showered in affection.

And if this is in an Overlord being a menace timeline, well if he shows up quick enough he can help disposeof Overlord. If not well Tarn presenting Reader with Overlord's corpse for catharsis isn't too terrible.

Or, in the High Priest!Megatron verse, Tourniquet literally hitchhiked across galaxies to go track his child. Not only Tarn interacts with his creator-in-law, but Hook gets his wish on knowledgeable medical personnel willing to train.

And promptly starts to have regrets because it's a Camien Healer, but not to point to ask the mech to stop because Decepticon Medical Division needs trained staff.

Caminus is a very collectivist society as a necessity from their Seekerkin roots and pragmatism from resource deprivation. They take resourcefulness to a different ballgame.

Because of the low population and Caminus' inability to fully interact with them as he once did, they take communal responsibility very seriously, such as healthcare.

As far as the Order of Luminara is concerned, Tourniquet is on sabbatical and had requested he document any planetary systems that would aid their community. There are specific metals that are necessary for Titans to function, and they're constantly search for it.

Meanwhile, Tourniquet is ever-so-slowly "addressing critical issues" in mechs' medical records. He first sends a friendly warning. If there's no appropriate response (aka mechs coming into fix it), then Tourniquet starts hunting.

Mind, he's used to targeting vicious predators, cannibals, or lifeforms with extreme transformation sequences, and he trained with a Healer who was a devoted follower to the Path of Suffering that specialized in collecting rare samples in unstable/hazardous terrains.

The Decepticons got nothing on him. They think Tourniquet has a death wish as he constantly requests to be sent to Deathworlds or planetary systems that are extremely hazardous to mechanical lifeforms, and his body language is too 'open' as Camiens typically mingle in each other's space and aren't as reluctant to physicality.

Tourniquet can fold them like a chair with a pleasant expression on his face.

Most likely with Nurse's third clutch (second with Tarn as the ignitor) because Tarn jinxed them with his wet-cat sadness on how the first trio are growing up to run around instead of toddling on shakey pedes. He yearns for those early thousand years of soft frames and crawling struggles. One of them still has an endearing lisp because their mouth is crowded out by rows and rows of serated denta. Tarn will forever deny it, but he was mournful when the first clutch got their own room via converting Nurse's old habsuite. He got separation anxiety and empty nest syndrome. Nurse had to elbow his side because of all the sad music on replay, and it's confusing the newsparks.

But on the other hand, it would be hilarious that Overlord shifts his focus onto Tourniquet. Not only does Tarn have his in-law nearby, but he gets front row tickets to Overlord and Tourniquet having a Thing and a medical boot camp, Camien-Healer style.

This includes extreme survival training in radioactive terrain, learning effective pharmaceutical concoctions in a bucket, and close-quarter weaponry combat. Nurse helps Tourniquet with the remedial courses.

Oh my god sports anime’s your characters. The socs are actually just another team and rumbles are games and any kind of tussles beforehand are like scrimmages/ mock games or whatever depending on the sport. I don’t know jack about sports but I am thinking.

Idk who coaches would be. Maybe the oldest in each group or they’re just random characters

I knock on the door with quite a lot of difficulties. Well, for my defense, it's hard to lift your hand when it's full of bags for a sleepover, pastries and the Switch lying down somewhere.

We're having those quite a lot since our little "discussion". I've started coming back to my flat just so she could come in and I would not have a grinning nephew on my back. Or worse, a grinning sister. Would you believe the moment she saw Domhildr at her home sitting on my lap, she shouted in all the house "No fucking on my couch, Tyr, you horndog !"?

Gustav had to remind her Fen was upstairs. And even then, she couldn't stop laughing.

But, well, today it's at her place. And I've taken everything. The onesie, the pillows (can't sleep weel without my pillows), snacks, clothing for tomorrow. Don't think I have forgotten anything...

"Tyr ! Finally here, I was waiting for you~"

In fact, I had forgotten something.

I'm covered from head to toe because the weather is still quite cold, even in the beginning of the afternoon. And, in what's left of my innocence, I expected Domhildr to do so too. But it is underestimating her.

Because she is now standing on the porch in a full set of lingerie. Nothing else.

i blink. Try to not let my eyes deviate. Yes, we are in a relationship, and yes, I've always found her beautiful, especially right now in the damn lingerie set my godforsaken sister bought her for Christmas. The dark pink is complimenting her skin tone and brown hair perfectly. Showing off her tattoos and moulding her figure so well it looks like it was made for her.

And of course, because it's Kriss and she has a taste for expensive things, her presents are also expensive. Velvet and silk expensive.

Nope. Nope. Not imagining taking that off. Get away, thoughts of kisses and brushes against my skin, fuck off, lingering feeling of velvet inbetween my fingers. Not right now, for fuck's sake !

I may be particularly red, right now, because she looks extremely satisfied.

Very much. Especially when she's posing lavishly in a way showing her tattoos and pushing forward her chest.

I let go of my bags, close the door, and that little shit is now embracing me.

Usually it's the kind of things that would make me fold. Or, before our conversation and during my seemingly hopeless pining, run away to Oli.

However, this time, it looks so exaggerated that I burst out laughing.

"Ha ! Not today, Satan."

"Heeey, are you calling me demonic-"

She looks offended, but a kiss in the forehead and every shout melt into a giggle. Gods, she's adorable.

"Well you are beautiful enough to send the most pious man to damnation. But I'm not in the mood, have not planned for this, and hell, I don't even have protection on me."

"I always do, you know~"

Oh, I'm aware, do you know how long I have known you ? But it's not an argument strong enough to weaken me, especially with your relationship to sex.

"Yeah, but this kind of things take two, does it not ? Also I am perfectly content with just seeing you, lingerie or not."

And I intend to do things right, regarding sex. Like, not do a Brynja and sleep with her drunk, unplanned and definitely not in the right headspace for this, for example.

She pouts.

"You're weak."

"If I was, we would not be talking this way right now, trust me-"

"Oh, get a room, you two," a third voice intervenes while she was about to retort. "I'm not in the mood to witness another kind of pining."

I turn towards the inside of the apartment to cross eyes with Oli, in a big sweater and pants and a teasing smile on his face.

Domhildr is still giggling and pressed against my chest. I sigh and take her cheek in my hand, she leans in like a kitten. Cute.

"So you're trying to arouse me while knowing Oli was there ?"

"Don't worry, they say with a laugh. I would be out at the first moan."

"Or I would have invited her, who knows, you still have a lot of pining to resolve, Tyr~"

Oh please not right now. I roll my eyes, pinch her cheek, she starts laughing and it's the most beautiful thing I've heard today.

"You're little shits, you know that."

Wouldn't have them any other way, but still.

"Com'on, let's go make ourselves comfortable. You look like you're freezing in there, Domi."

"Oh I think i'm rather hot~"

"That's not the question, being pretty is not warming you up. Let's put ourselves under a plaid and play a bit of Smash Bros, for lack of smashing."

Both of them burst out laughing, and Oli guides me and all my things to the bedroom while Domi is stealing the food I brought, my plaid and my Switch to prepare the games corner.

It's worth nothing that when I wake up the morning after, they're both snuggled against me under the covers, the Switch laying down on one of the bed's corners and Domhildr curled up in one of my sweaters.

Hockey seems like a good choice for Anakin. He'd be one of those controversial figures. Like, he's a great player, future hall of famer, star of his team. He also lost his temper last game and boarded a player so hard and illegally the guy had to be stretchered out. He wears all the cause jerseys and took his kids to the Pride parade, but he had to be restrained from climbing over the bench during a game to punch the other team's coach. Voted least likely to use drugs and most likely to murder.

and anakin DOES lend himself to aggressive play in hockey in a way that is worrying but also makes him a great player. Full of contradictions. Will smash anyone who looks at him twice into the boards. Will also carefully and gently guide his kids around the ice during family skate with both hands out in case they fall

obi-wan has no idea what to make of him and also anakin is very out of his league - of sports, of understanding, and of dating

VAMP ROGER AU QUESTION! how would he and barnabas interact together (if they ever interact)? :3 💜

excellent question! this family and their sharp-toothed men will be the death of ... well, several community members of Collinsport, i suppose.

to start — Barnabas gets out of the box slightly differently than in canon, which colors his relationship to Roger and the rest of the household. Roger kills Willie after his attempted assault on Carolyn and Vicki (who is, by that point, his wife); Willie's mysterious disappearance and Roger's suspected involvement makes Jason that much more panicked, desperate, and correspondingly aggressive. Liz goes searching for the lost family jewels in a last-ditch attempt to buy Jason off, and, inadvertently, lets their ancient family sin out of the tomb.

ergo she's made Barnabas' thrall instead of Willie, but this goes unnoticed for a while — even though her brother would, in theory, recognize the signs, and his suspicions are raised, but she's already acting so much unlike herself with Jason around that he doesn't suspect anyone else of doing her harm. yet.

at the start, he and Barnabas get along very well, even before they discover their shared affliction: they're both relatively sophisticated, well-traveled, intelligent people, and for all that Roger decries Liz's emphasis on the Collins name, he leans towards familial connections instinctively (Roger hasn't got much in the way of friends outside of the house even in canon, and he's even more isolated as a vampire).

after he finds out Barnabas is also a vampire, things get a little more complicated, but overall, they're still friendly. Roger doesn't have much sympathy for Barnabas' relentless self-pity and decrying his doomed fate to live as a monster, because Roger on the whole enjoys his vampirism and has made a decent un-life for himself out of it (thanks in no small part to Vicki). but having someone like him around is a comfort in ways he wouldn't have expected, he's no longer solitary or uniquely monstrous out of the Collins family, he has someone else around through the night, and someone who understands the sufferings of bloodthirst and being shut out of the sun.

furthermore, Roger's very much interested in his family history and stories of the past, the building of Collinwood, Jeremiah's ships – and Barnabas was there. there's potential for some very interesting conversations about the past, and the arc of the Collins family history to the present, not to mention literature, travel, fashion, politics and the rest. Roger's his cousin's mirror in modernity in many ways, and that's something potentially interesting to explore: the world changes around them, but Collinses do not.

as an aside, they both have a funny sort of relationship to Burke. Barnabas hates him for his resemblance to Jeremiah and envies his friendship with Vicki and thinks he's crude, and Roger ... well. it's complicated. it's closer to antagonism than not, and Burke has tried to kill him once in this au, and Roger resents his flirting with Vicki, but then there's everything else with their past. so I don't think Barnabas' treatment of him would sit particularly well with Roger, he'd take the attitude of hey, only I can be a dick to Burke >:(

the definite fracture point is Barnabas imprinting on Vicki. Roger's already jealous and possessive by nature, and it's amplified by the supernatural nature of his relationship to Vicki (being closer, bodily and mentally; being necessary to each other; being, quite literally, sustenance) so he's already a little on edge when Barnabas starts paying attention to her, giving her presents, and appreciating the scenery — Barnabas doesn't, exactly, tend to have much in the way of moral inclination to leaving women alone when they have prior engagements, but it's fair to point out the irony of everything Roger was doing with his bloodbag governess when he was still very much a married man.

anyway: Roger finds foreign bite marks on his wife's neck, and he's understandably immensely upset by this. partially out of territorial sentiment, but he also knows Vicki, and he knows that she wouldn't have invited another vampire willingly — which means that she was forced, or hypnotized, or attacked in secret, and there's only the one potential suspect. this is already enough to lose his good will, but he might have been willing to let Barnabas go with a "hands off," had this discovery not lead to finding out what he'd also been doing to Liz. the combination of the two is unforgivable, and it's Barnabas' error to have made an enemy who is very personally aware of all his vampiric weaknesses, and Burke's already carved a stake.
