With his hand against the wall, trapping me in place, Azel's brows were in a deep frown.
Azel: It's justââŚ
Azel: This kind of thingâ right?
Emma: ⌠I'm sorry. I didn't quite catch that.
Azel: That's whyâŚ
Azel: â⌠it was in the book.
(Even though we're this close, I still can't hear him.)
He was definitely mumbling about something, but his voice was so soft it was nearly impossible to hear what he was saying.
Azel: Basically, there's nothing you need to worry about.
Emma: Saying that while your face is so red only makes me morâ mmph!
Before I could finish, he resorted to the drastic method of physically silencing me with his lips.
It was apparent that Azel had no intention of backing down until I gave up on pursuing the subject. Each time I tried to speak, his kiss would grow more aggressive.
(This is so unfairâŚ)
His tongue intertwined with mine, gradually increasing the pleasure in my body. My heart was racing, and I was losing strength to keep upright.
I was about to go limp, but Azel caught me just in time, wrapping an arm around my waist to support me.
Emma: ⌠You went too far.
Azel: It's your fault.
(Not an ounce of guilt in him.)
I shot him a piercing glare to express my embarrassment, but he simply turned away.
Azel: Fine, fine. It's my fault.
Azel: Umm⌠wellâŚ
Azel: ⌠Want to go for a stroll?
Emma: A⌠a stroll?
âŚ
In what seemed to be an attempt at making up for his actions, Azel led me out of the temple to an oasis deep in the desert.
(I never knew such a place existed nearby.)
Since few people would go near the sacred grounds of the primordial temple, there were no signs of human activity.
If Azel was the only one who knew of this place, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to call it "God's Garden".
Emma: This lake is beautiful⌠it feels good to be here.
As I crouched down and scooped the clear water with my hands, Azel placed a hand on my head with his usual grumpy face.
Azel: Not there.
Gripping my head lightly, he turned it to face a different direction.
Further back, beyond the oasis, near the water's edgeâ the scenery was absolutely breathtaking.
Emma: No way⌠is that a flower field!?
Flowers of vibrant colours were in bloom around the lakeside, bringing life to the dry desert sand.
I hurried over and looked at the flowers from up close.
(These are⌠"Al Flowers".)
The flowers, named after Azel, the Living God, were a special variety genetically modified to bloom even in the desert.
Emma: I never thought they'd grow naturally.
Azel: ⌠They rarely do, so don't tell anyone.
Azel caught up to me and awkwardly averted his gaze.
Azel: This place might be ruined if people found out about its existence.
Emma: I'll keep it a secret.
(⌠What's this uneasy feeling I'm getting?)
I was curious to know, but I couldn't resist the temptation from the flower field and crouched down to gently touch a flower petal.
Azel: Do you like flowers that much?
Emma: I do. They're soothing to look at.
Azel: ⌠I see.
Azel: I don't care much for flowers, but if you like them, you can come see them again.
Emma: Please come with me when I do.
Azel: âŚ
Emma: Thank you.
Azel: I didn't say anything.
Emma: Your answer is written on your face.
Emma: EeekâŚ! What theâ!?
Although he was firmly pinching my cheek, Azel didn't look entirely displeased.
Azel: I'm charging you an escort fee.
Emma: Shouldn't it be called a date fee?
Azel: ⌠This isn't a date.
Emma: It is to me.
Azel: No, it's not. There's no way I'd do something so frivolous.
Emma: Azel⌠did you know that flower field dates are a thing?
Azel: âŚ
Emma: That means it's too late now!
I stood up and clung to Azel's arm, with him looking like he was about to flee at any moment.
Emma: Next time, let's bring a tent and lunchboxes so we can have a picnic.
Azel: ⌠Do as you please.
Despite the long and deep sigh he let out, Azel's had a tender look in his eyes.
âŚ
That night,â
(I knew it. He's reading a book again.)
I secretly watched Azel from the bed as he sat by the window, unaware of my staring.
Tonight, I wasn't awake by chance. I was only pretending to be asleep, waiting for the right moment.
(He managed to dodge my questions during the day, but this timeâŚ)
Emma: AZEL!
Azel: WHAT!?
I raised my voice on purpose, causing Azel to turn toward in me in shock, nearly jumping out of his skin.
Emma: I heard a noise coming from outsideâŚ
Azel: ⌠Huh?
The kind-hearted god didn't doubt my words. He immediately walked to the door to check on the "noise".
(I feel guilt⌠I'm sorry for deceiving you.)
Making a promise in my mind to prepare a luxurious meal for him tomorrow as an apology, I slipped out of bed and reached for the book "containing national secrets" Azel had left on the floor.
Azel: It was just your imagination. There's nothing outsidâ
Azel: âŚ
Emma: âŚ
Azel: ⌠You tricked me.
Emma: I'm so sorry. ButâŚ
Emma: ⌠I love you.

Regarding the "awful at 9" issue, I would say that while that's not so bad in a 9 year old, it tracks too closely with what we see of her later. When it is not so forgivable. I do disagree about the Seanchan experience being the source of her subsequent behavior.
First of all, there is a pattern that is established before, and continues after.
Secondly, while there is definitely misandry in her attitudes before and after (i.e. her stubborn rejection of every bit of evidence of Mat's military ability, in four straight books, or her scoffing at the idea of Mat wanting to learn anything, a week after he came to her asking advice and wanting information), her immediate response to the arrival of her rescue party is to note that her dreams of rescue were by Tigraine's boys, on horses too large to get through the hallways & doors. And I think the worst of her Seanchan-inspired trauma explains her treatment of other women, not men. Which makes sense, considering she had almost no experience of Seanchan men, aside from the one guy wanting to kill Min.
The idea of her mother's contempt for men in general, inculcated through her upbringing, is, however, a very interesting idea, worth applying to various attitudes she displays throughout the series.
Overall, I tend to shy away from using her behavior in tDR against Egwene, big picture-wise. I will happily enumerate her transgressions and explain why they were wrong, but I am not too sanguine about including them in the overall pattern, because that is what I see as the trauma response. And I believe her arc in tDR is overcoming the trauma to a degree. While it's true that trauma doesn't just disappear cinematically when you find the key to unlocking it, Egwene's doesn't, but henceforth, is largely confined to visceral reactions to Seanchan mementos or similar situations, evoking a strong fight response to immediate threats to her freedom by women (compare her reaction to Rand shielding and holding her with the Power in Tear, when he has clearly lost control, to her initial reaction of anger when Amys grabs her in T'A'R later in the book and then her panic when she wakes and realizes she is shielded - Rand's power is, and remains a Problem for her, but being held captive by him, even when madness might be in the driver's seat, does not get the same panic as when a woman is doing it with rather more justification), and I think the issues that manifest in Book 3 are a specific psychological issue that she moves past in the end of that one.
Throughout the book, she is straining against authority and perceiving absolutely any restriction of her agency as a major offense. While this is not really new behavior, in prior and later books, she tends to be a bit more devious in her rejection of authority or restrictions, while in tDR, she is all but openly challenging it and looking for excuses to fight over authority & agency. She is also operating on a hair-trigger desire to inflict violence at the slightest excuse. All this stuff seems pretty clearly a case of acting out against the leash. She overcomes most of the captivity trauma issues when a captive in the Stone, where she accepts, and even asks for, comfort from Nynaeve, and makes the conscious decision to forego murdering Joiya.
The theory about Marin instigating the relationship with Egwene is interesting, and another motive, aside from desperation to unload one of her toxic daughters, could be getting a female presence into the al'Thor household, as a member of the Women's Circle, who sees that bastion of masculine independence as a threat.
However, the thing where Egwene is thinking of herself as a passive subject of social expectations along with Rand could just be an early example of her self-gaslighting. Egwene does not really acknowledge her own role in setting things up, like with her grumbles about being expected to follow the rules and authority figures during her novitiate or apprenticeship with the Wise Ones. It's not just general dissatisfaction, but actually seeing the situation as unfair and an imposition, as if she was not the one who made strong efforts to put herself in that position. So she could easily have picked Rand because there is no Marin or Marin-equivalent figure in his house, and started following him around, gave her mother enough indications of her interest that she goes to Tam, which is the point at which Rand recalls the village suddenly treating their pairing as inevitable. His sequence is Egwene attaches herself to him, then Marin talks to Tam, then he's suddenly paired off with Egwene in everyone's eyes. It should be noted, this is the status quo in Ravens. So this is not necessarily contradicting Rand's version of events. Also, thinking that she should be taking the measure of her expected, can be a rationalization for hunting Rand down instead of concentrating on her job. The grownups expect her to bring water to workers. Hmm. Obstacle to actual desire. But wait! Grownups also expect her to marry Rand. Well, that seems like the more important grownup expectation to address! Where's Rand? It's like in the Three-Fold Land, where, more than once she stews over the impositions placed on her as opposed to Rand & Mat, as if their situations are at all analogous, and they were all just dropped in with the Aiel and Egwene had nothing to do with the active decision to go.
As for Berowyn's grief, a really good question is "Why is it also not Egwene's?" Because really unnatural behavior, in my experience, is for a nine-year old to have zero attachment to a baby in the family, and especially the loss of one.
If we want to actually say that her behavior with power and authority in the later books is not the natural outgrowth of her unchecked innate ambition, I would put that more on Siuan than her captivity. Siuan has become the toxic stage/sports parent, pushing the kid to succeed where she failed. I notice Egwene never really engages with the concept of the legitimacy of her authority or office. Who says that the Hall that raised her has the authority to do so (especially considering that they represent no more than 1/3 of the electorate - if their position is that they don't have to accept the vote by a legitimate Hall of the Tower, they have no argument but force for why the other sisters should accept the actions of a Hall chosen by a pack of cranks in a ruined village)? For that matter, who says Elaida is not really the Amyrlin? I think Siuan's goal and her resentments over her own downfall shade her tutelage to the point that Egwene actually thinks she is actually entitled to supreme authority and recognition of it by all and sundry. I maintain that Egwene's campaign for the Amylin Seat is intended to parallel Rand's downward spiral, post-box, and their starkest comparison is how in tPoD, both of them are exercising leadership in extreme bad faith, deliberately tricking their way to power and treating their own people as the enemy, and despite mental lip service to the responsibility their positions entail, are blatantly ignoring the conventional obligations and duties for which their positions exist. And in both case, their respective Blue Ajah mentors have a lot to do with shaping their actions, Moiraine in encouraging him to play Daes Dae'mar, rather than govern fairly or follow his own, more moral, instincts, and Siuan in an utter lack of consideration for any other viewpoint, certainty in right to power, and personal grudge against Elaida. Egwene is rather pro-Tower in general, before she arrives in Salidar. Her adversarial attitude toward Elaida's embassy is not personal, or as against Bad Guys, instead she seems more worried about the obvious consequences of herself getting caught or Rand ending up in the hands of people she opposes.
Elayne latched herself onto a group of people leaving for an adventure as surely as Egwene did, yet I don't see people berating her for it like they do Egwene. Almost like following someone else's call to adventure is perfectly reasonable, after all?

THE NEW 'MENU" IS GONNA BE HELL FOR SYD
I have been reading Sous Chef: 24 Hours on the Line âby Michael Gibney because I wanted to understand more about Sydney's future responsibilities. I know next to nothing about the cooking industry, and this show particularly doesn't want to waste time explaining the context to the untrained eye (which is fair, we are here for the drama).
Man, this book was so awesome. It is literally like experiencing a The Bear episode in book format. It takes you through the whole routine, explaining who does what, the expectations, skillsets, and the emotional burden of each position. The protagonist is, of course, the sous chef, and what I have read made me feel scared for Sydney next season. So, every fact I display here is because the book presented it as the expected.
THE BEAR'S CASE
Now, a clarification: As I understand, the CDC supervises the whole kitchen, which is Syd's official title. But Carmy will technically still act as CDC since most executives don't move a finger; they are supposed to be there only to ensure rules and quality standards are followed.
The CDC is the person in the kitchen that everyone answers "yes chef/Oui chef too. The one that calls the orders and keeps everyone in line. The one who has the final say about what goes out of the kitchen. Under them, there is the sous, making sure all the operations are in order.
So you will technically have two CDCs; just one of them will have the final say, and you will have Tina as the sous. But that puts Sydney in a position to act both as CDC and a Sous, so I am using the book to guide what we may expect her to endure. This as a report made last minute with only two sources (pretty good, but still only two). Now, lets begin.
A very inexperienced staff: The author created a fictional restaurant based on his experiences, merging people he has met over the years to give you an idea of the most common in the industry. But it made something very clear to me: the staff of the bear, especially the line cooks, do not possess the training to operate at the level that Carmy is requesting. They better send them to culinary school before officially opening. I don't know why (I actually blame Carmy for this), but they haven't prioritized hiring certified staff since the beginning. They should have never had an opening day without knowing their staff and, if they were as green as Syd described them, sent their asses to culinary school right away. The fact they only bothered to send Tina and Ebra is baffling. And even when training is essential, experience is what can make the difference in unprecedented scenarios, and everything that Carmy is asking is pretty unprecedented by definition.
With the menu changing every day, Sydney's job as a cook herself and as the captain of many cooks is going to be darm near impossible.
Actually, in the book, there were two sous chefs, one for opening and one for closing. Even if you delegate the administrative task normally reserved for the morning sous chef to someone like Natalie (managing schedules and callouts, checking deliveries, and inspecting the state of the food before opening), it would still leave a lot of things on Sydney's plate. I am gonna be quoting this article:
"Few are the kitchens Iâve worked or staâaged in where the Sous Chef wasnât doing all the work that the general public thinks the Chef is doing. And donât get me wrong, such is the natural progression of things and not without good reason. But more often than not, while the Chef is the General, with his/her name on the line, the Sous Chef is the lieutenant, seeing to it that the work gets done in the trenches".
During service, the chef (CDC) plates the dishes in the pass, but before that, the sous has to check the food the line cook brings; they need to be aware of how the executive chef likes a particular dish, the consistency, temperature, and other culinary details. Again, Carmy will act as CDC here and Syd as sous. Even though I didn't see them do this in f&f, it will likely be necessary for the future. Carmy changing the recipes constantly is gonna make it virtually impossible for Sydney to keep up, with their particular preparation, and since they are gonna be the final portal after the food gets to be presented to the client, it could cause a lot of friction between them.
Not only that, the sous chef normally leads the preparation of the specials (since in most restaurants, the ordinary menu has been established, only the specials can change every day) For both sous chefs in the book, leading prep consumed most of their time before opening, since, again, the executive has already trained them in how he prefers certain parts of the recipe. Again, in the Bear's circumstances, this will probably also be Sydney's job.
Replacing staff. The book even includes a scenario when a line cook fails, and the sous has to cover that station. Sydney is kind of destined to experience this, too, considering how unreliable their staff could be. If that happens, Carmy will be alone at the pass, checking every element before plating, which will obviously cause a delay.
Tina is the sous, and it will be interesting to see how she manages that; she definitely doesn't have the experience, and these expectations are definitely no industry standard. It hurts me that Sydney may suggest hiring another sous to work next to her or another cook who actually has experience operating in the industry to level up her workload. That is where I think Luca's role will be next season, if he goes to work for them. He probably has the skill set to do it. There is no point in having two people manage desserts.
Evidently, with a menu changing every day, it also means that Carmy has to make Syd come early every day to explain this recipe to her and make sure she can lead the rest of the kitchen in making them. Most of their dynamic is gonna rely on how much Syd can actually fulfill Carmy's expectations; she came here to work for him, running away from psycho chefs, and yet Carmy's expectations are going to be the most reckless the industry has ever seen.
The closing sous has to prepare everything for the next day long after the executive and the other sous are gone, revising the mistakes that were made, and preventing the ones they could make tomorrow.
Regardless of the title and responsibilities that may go on Sydney for being the only other experienced chef in the kitchen, we are talking about a 15-hour day. And I know it can be expected in this industry, but the layout for having two sous made plenty of sense. I don't know if Carmy will take part of the workload. I hope that is the case.
But yeah, the line "so you can push me, and I can push you" is taking a new connotation in my mind. What Carmy is creating doesn't make any logistical sense, with an untrained/inexperienced staff and with a sous chef that he trusts and cares about, but he is basically asking to perform to a level that defeats reason.
It is not even the level that made him "the bear" in his years as the best CDC in the world. Because even if Carmy's past executive was abusive and cruel, their expectations had to obey certain logistic logic that Carmy was completely abandoning. Carmy is not gonna be abusive, but all of this is a whole orchestra he is creating for self-punishment because even he won't be able to keep up with it, he may push everyone away because there is nobody who can. All of this is his version of self-harming. And Sydney and everyone he loves will witness, it until he asks for help.
Edit: I had to make a correction, explaining Carmy's and Syd's will technically both do the job of CDCs. Again, please do let me know more about that or feel free to correct me.

i don't believe in the fandom concept of problematic faves (all characters should have at least one Problem, i think, for flavor) but if i did, fiona pitch would have a permanent throne at the very top of my list. i just think she's neato-cheetos.
#on a scale from one to belittling a teenager who was just subjected to weeks of solitary confinement starvation torture#i think that fiona is a 10.5 and should consider prozac#rainbow has a way with multifaceted characters who do things because it's the only thing they know how to do#good things for bad reasons and bad things for good reasons and selfless things for spiteful reasons and vise versa etc#everyone is at least a bit of an asshole about something. even goodboy milk chap boyscout simon killed a bunch of vampires on sight#they were probably up to something shady but the likelihood that they were gonna kill those girls in broad daylight at a crowded renfaire?#probably pretty low. too late to un-kill 'em though. like. those were People. vampires are People. goblins too.#imagine you're a goblin looking to make some serious changes in your society and the only thing you have to do to achieve those goals?#is kill a fifth grader that already hates you and your entire species on principle and would definitely kill you first given the chance#some of those goblins were probably pretty power hungry assholes but i imagine if they have a monarchy they also have tax laws and shit#i couldn't kill a fascist cub-scout for free healthcare but i'm also very anti-murder in general and goblins seem quite pro#i am definitely thinking way too far into this but that's also my One SkillTM#the incredibly similar way that simon and fiona view 'dark' magickal creatures (and what it means about the entire WoM) is an essay itself#its also a LONG essay and i'm too much of a weenie to post in-depth fandom opinions more controversial than 'big teeth Hot'#so the gist of it is 'I JUST THINK THEY'RE ALL NEAT I LIKED THE BOOK A LOT'#del/lat

friends [ceo!h x shy!reader]
synopsis: bambi meets harry's best friends.
word count: 8.8k
contains: ceo!harry x assitant!y/n, deer!reader vibes, fluff, age gap (9 years), drunk harry, shy reader, boyfriend!h
this is part 3 of Bambi, read part 2 here
. . .
Y/N was slowly but surely finding her rhythm at Pleasing. Thanks to Harryâs advice on making the most of each day (advice he apparently wrote a book aboutâthough when Lindsey mentioned it, Harry had quickly shushed her and changed the subject), she had developed a solid morning and evening routine.
Her workdays at Pleasing fell on the busiest days of Harryâs schedule, which meant she was there three times a week. Those mornings began promptly at 7 a.m., with her clothes already laid out from the night before. After waking, sheâd prepare breakfast for herself and her brothers, speaking to Harry on the phone as they went about their respective routines in separate homes. Once breakfast was done, sheâd brush her teeth, do her makeup, and style her hair. By the time the school bus arrived to whisk her brothers away, her car would be rounding the corner to take her into the city.
Despite her hectic schedule, Y/N was managing to juggle her studiesâthough she couldnât ignore that they were beginning to take a backseat. Lately, sheâd found herself questioning whether she even wanted to continue her course. But with life moving at such a whirlwind pace, the thought of making a definitive decision felt overwhelming. For now, it was easier to just focus on the day-to-day.
To her surprise, Y/N was actually enjoying her jobâsomething sheâd never expected. Sheâd never been a fan of âadultingâ; being forced to grow up quickly didnât mean she had to like it. Paying bills, going to work, and worrying about the future had always felt like too much. But having a steady job offered her a rare sense of stabilityâone she appreciated more than she wanted to admit. It kept food on the table, gave her some consistency, and most importantly, brought her closer to Harry.
Keeping their relationship a secret, however, was proving to be a challenge. Surprisingly, Y/N was the more professional of the two, maintaining her composure in the workplace. She kept her hands to herself and avoided lingering glances, even when they were in the same room. Harry, on the other hand, wasnât quite as disciplined. He had a knack for initiating little interactions that straddled the line of proprietyâalways claiming they were âaccidents.â
Like the time he held her hand just a second too long. Or the time he âaccidentallyâ kissed her in the elevator right as the doors were opening. Then there was the incident during a meeting when, as she served tea, he tugged on the hem of her dressâapparently needing a refill.
Y/N couldnât help but adore how infatuated he was, but she was determined to keep things professional. The last thing she wanted was for her coworkers to think she had an unfair advantage because of her relationship. Still, Harryâs innocent looks and playfulness made it hard to stay mad at him for long.
âI need to ask you something,â Harry said from his desk.Â
It was Wednesday evening and everyone had gone home. Harry had needed to catch up on some work so Y/N stayed behind after some convincing with the proposition he would drop her home afterwards. Y/N was sitting on the chair opposite, her notebook open and laptop screen. Her laptop was on its last legs, taking forever to load and lagging every five seconds but she could never afford a new one and having one was better than nothing.Â
âWhatâs wrong?â She looked up, wearing her glasses and face framed by wispy bits of loose hair that had escaped her messy bun.Â
Harryâs face brightened when she looked up at him. âCâmere, Bambi. Too far away.â He pushed himself away from his desk and gestured to his lap.Â
Y/N smiled and walked around the desk to sit in his lap. She straddled herself across his lap and wrapped both her arms around his neck, âYâ smell good,â He murmurs, smelling her gingerbread cookie perfume even though it was Autumn, she was already excited for her favourite day of the year.Â
âWhat did you want to ask?â She pouted.Â
As if remembering he bought her over for a purpose, he continued, âThis weekend, yâknow youâre coming to stay the night?â
How could she forget? It was all she had been thinking about since he asked her. She had even bought brand new pyjamas with the remaining paycheck from her old job because her usual ones were worn and not as pretty. She had never been to a sleepover before let alone one with a man. She wasât sure what to expect but had seen movies where girls would sleepover and theyâd paint each others nails and eat ice cream. She knew that wouldnât be the case with Harry but she had made a list of other things they could do together that heâd enjoy too.Â
âI know,â Y/N nodded, brows furrowed as she waited for him to continue. Part of her couldnât help but worry. Did he not want her to sleep over anymore?
"Some of my friends are having a dinner get together type thing," Harry said, his tone casual but hopeful. "I havenât said Iâll go yet because I knew you were coming over, but I wanted to ask if youâd like to come with me?"
Y/Nâs eyes widened in surprise. "To the dinner party? With you?"
Harry smiled, a teasing glint in his eyes. "Yeah, with me. Who else?"
She blinked, processing his words. "Iâd be meeting your friends?" she asked cautiously. "Are you sure about that?"
"Why wouldnât I be sure?" he replied, his brow lifting slightly.
"I donât know, I just..." she trailed off, suddenly unsure of how to explain the nervous flutter in her chest.
"Ah, there yâgo, Bambi," Harry smirked, leaning in just enough to make her cheeks burn. "Getting all flustered."
"Iâm not flustered!" she protested, though the warmth in her face betrayed her.
Harry chuckled, his gaze warm and steady as it met hers. "It makes me happy, you knowâthinking about introducing you to my friends. They were excited when I mentioned you."
"They were?" Y/N asked, her brows lifting in surprise.
"Mhm," he murmured, a small smile tugging at his lips. "They know itâs rare for me to bring someone Iâm dating into the mix this early on." He leaned in, nuzzling against her neck and pressing a soft kiss to her skin. "So, will you come? We can head back to mine after."
She hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Okay... but I donât know if I have anything to wear."
Harry smirked, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Yâknow I can sort that," he teased.
Y/Nâs cheeks flushed instantly, and she bit back a shy smile as his confidence and charm worked their usual magic.Â
. . .
Y/N glanced down at her suitcase, biting her lip. Did I overpack for one night? Probably. She always did.
Growing up, money had been tight, but once Y/N started earning her own at sixteen, sheâd developed a habit of indulging herself. Not extravagantlyâthere were no designer handbags or flashy purchasesâbut enough to feel like she was treating herself after the grind of a day. Skincare, makeup, clothesâher modest earnings often vanished in the blink of an eye.
Fashion was her weakness. Her clothing rack groaned under the weight of her ever-expanding wardrobe, frequently collapsing as if protesting her relentless shopping habit. Packing for this overnight stay at Harryâs had been no exception. Sheâd started with a backpack, then upgraded to a duffle bag, only to realize that wouldnât fit everything she might need. Now, her suitcase sat by the stairs, practically mocking her indecision.
âWhoa.â Sammyâs voice broke her thoughts as he sauntered into her room, a chocolate bar in hand. âAre you moving in?â
âNo,â Y/N huffed, hands on her hips. âI just want to be prepared.â
Sammy raised an eyebrow. âYou know, he could just stay here instead.â
Y/N stilled. The boyâs first night without her had everyone feeling uneasy, and she knew Sammy wasnât looking forward to it. His gaze was guarded, but she could see the vulnerability underneath.
âItâll be fine,â she reassured, stepping closer. âItâs just one night. If you really hate it, weâllââ
âYouâll what?â he interrupted, his voice breaking slightly. âThereâs going to be a day when you move out. And leave me. With Mom. Or... without her.â
The words hit harder than he intended. Y/N swallowed the lump forming in her throat, reaching out to him. She saw the sadness etched in his eyes, a reflection of her own fears. âWherever I go, you go,â she whispered firmly.
âPromise?â
âI promise.â
Sammy leaned into her, wrapping his arms around her in a tight hug. Y/N held him close, closing her eyes for a moment before pulling away.
The sound of a knock at the front door jolted her. She glanced at the clock, muttering a quick, âThatâs Harry,â as she rushed downstairs. She wanted to intercept him before Archie could get startedâher little brotherâs chatter had a way of turning quick visits into extended stays.
Yanking the door open, she froze. Harry stood there, a beaming smile lighting up his face despite the chill in the air. He wore a puffer jacket and shorts, his casual confidence making her heart skip.
âHi, Harry,â she greeted, cheeks tinged pink, though she wasnât sure if it was from the cold or his presence. Without thinking, she leapt into his arms, her sock-clad feet barely touching the doorstep.
âHi, Bambi,â he chuckled, steadying her as his arms closed around her. âYâready to go?â
âMhm.â She pulled back, slipping on her shoes. âLet me say goodbye to the boys.â
Harryâs gaze shifted behind her, landing on the suitcase by the stairs. A laugh bubbled from him. âAre you planning on moving in?â
Y/N furrowed her brows, following his line of sight. When realization dawned, she flushed. âOh, that. I, uh... didnât know what Iâd need.â
His grin softened as he stepped closer, pressing a kiss to her forehead. âSâalright, Bambi,â he murmured. âMâjust excited to have you over.â
She smiled, her heart swelling as he leaned in for another kiss. Then, without missing a beat, he grabbed her suitcase and carried it effortlessly to the car.
After she had bid goodbye to her brotherâs and promised them some much needed one on one time with them once she came back from Harryâs house, Y/N took a deep breath and mentally prepared herself for the next twenty four hours.Â
. . .
In the car to Harryâs apartment, Y/N sat in the passenger seat with one hand intertwined with Harryâs whilst he drove with his other. The radio played through the car speakers, avoiding complete silence on the journey. The dulcit tones of Marvin Gaye playing throughout.Â
âYâ hands are freezing,â Harry said. Y/N instinctively tried to pull away as though her hand being cold was a bad thing but Harry clung tighter, raising both their hands and kissing her knuckles before blowing his warm breath over her hand. âDo you need me to up the heater?â
Y/N shook her head, âNo itâs okay, my hands get cold when Iâm nervous.â She confessed.Â
Harry frowned, âNervous? Are you okay?â
Y/N cringed, âM a little worried about meeting your friends. What if they donât like me?âÂ
Harry gave her a comforting smile, âBambi, theyâre so excited to meet you. You have nothing to worry about. Theyâve met other girls Iâve dated and trust me when I say youâre a walking angel in comparison to them.âÂ
âH-Have you dated a lot of other girls?â Y/N felt awkward bringing it up but her curiosity was getting the better of her. Harry had only mentioned briefly of the other women he had dated. Of course he had dated other women, he was a successful, handsome millionaire with a fashion company. It would be pointless trying to deny it.Â
Harry thought for a moment like he was trying to think carefully about his response, âIâll be honest, I used to date a lot of women when I first started making money. I wasnât very good when I started getting attention from the press. I drank a lot and spent money on buying out nightclubs and bars for the night.âÂ
Y/N was shocked. She tried to picture her Harry being the version of himself he spoke about. âBut my company was no where near as successful as it is now so even though I was spending a lot, I was losing a lot too. I nearly went bankrupt at one point which really gave me a kick up the ass. My sister, sheâs an accountant back home in England, she came to visit and helped me get my act together.âÂ
âOh wow,â Y/N didnât really know what else to say. She couldnât seem to envision her sweet, soft and wholesome Harry being a party animal and spening nights in bars for days on end.Â
âDid that put you off?â Y/N immediately shook her head.Â
âOf course not, weâve all got things weâre not proud of.â Y/N replied.Â
Harry smiled, âWhat about you? Any psycho ex-boyfriends I need to worry about?â
Y/N laughed, âNo lucky for you, I donât think a single guy has ever taken interest in me.âÂ
âI highly doubt that Bambi but youâre right, I am very lucky.â Harry flashed a cheeky grin, turning the wheel around the corner and stopped outside the tallest building she had ever seen that looked as though it was completely made of glass.Â
Y/Nâs was unable to say anything when her eyes gazed up at the towering stack of apartments. âYou live in this building?â Y/N couldnât take her eyes off, her neck permanently craned to look up. She was pretty sure the hjgihest point of the building resided in the clouds.Â
Harry said nothing, parking his car in the private parking spot. He went to the back to grab her suitcase, Y/N stepping out of the car and walking around to meet him.Â
âCâmon Bambi,â Harry chuckled at her awe-struck expression.Â
They walked hand in hand through the lobby which looked as glamorous as youâd expect. Harry gave a nod to the security at the door as they went past and headed towards the elevator. Y/Nâs eyes widened when his finger pressed the button for the top floor.Â
The doors to the elevator opened and Y/N thought she might actually pass out.Â
She stepped into Harryâs penthouse, her breath catching as her gaze swept over the space. The floor-to-ceiling windows framed the city skyline, all the people and cars down below looked like ants. The open layout was both elegant and inviting, with warm ambient lighting casting a golden glow over the neutral-toned furniture and rich wooden floors.
âWow,â she whispered, taking a hesitant step further inside. The plush cream sofa, the sleek coffee table stacked with books, and the faint scent of vanilla in the air all felt so Harryâeffortlessly stylish and welcoming.
Harry chuckled behind her, setting her suitcase by the door. âYou like it?â
âLike it?â she breathed, turning to face him with wide eyes. âHarry, this is... incredible.â
He smiled, rubbing the back of his neck. âMâglad you think so. Wanted it to feel comfy, yâknow? Somewhere I could actually relax.â
Y/N nodded, her eyes drifting back to the view. âSometimes I forget how rich you are.â
Harry chuckles from behind her, âIâm actually very glad to hear that.â
She walked over to the windows, pressing her hands gently against the glass as she looked out at the city sprawling beneath them. For a moment, it felt like they were floating above it all, separate from the noise and chaos of the world below.
Harry joined her, slipping an arm around her waist and pulling her close. âSâbetter with you here,â he murmured, his voice soft.
Y/Nâs heart thudded in her chest as she leant into him. Harry kissed her shoulder, turning her round to face him. He smiled when her eyes met his, âWe have some time before we need to get ready, do you want to go unpack?â
âOh of course, am I sleeping on the couch?â Harry furrowed his brows before bursting out laughing, water almost fell from his eyes. Y/N frowned, confused at his reaction.Â
âYou donât want to sleep in my room Bambi? With me?â Y/Nâs cheek scorched red but Harry just continued to laugh, âI mean Iâm happy to sleep on the couch and let you sleep in my room if thatâs what would make you comfortable.â
âNo, itâs okay! I was just messing around,â She was all flustered. The idea of sleeping in Harryâs bed with him hadnât crossed her mind like it maybe should have.Â
âAre you sure? Yâ know I wouldnât do anything to make you uncomfortable.â Y/Nâs shoulders sunk at his sincere concern, she stood on her toes and kissed his lips. This time it was his turn to be surprised since it was rare for her to be the first to initiate a kiss between them.Â
âI know,â She smiled, âI want to sleep in your room⌠with you.âÂ
Harry smiled, âGood. Let me give you a tour first.âÂ
Harry led Y/N back toward the kitchen, still holding her hand as they strolled through the open-concept living area. âFirst stop: the kitchen,â he said, motioning grandly as they stepped into the sleek, modern space.
Y/Nâs eyes widened as she took in the marble countertops, state-of-the-art appliances, and a large island that looked like it had been plucked from a home design magazine. A trio of pendant lights hung above, casting a warm glow over the pristine surfaces.
âWow,â she breathed, running her fingers along the smooth countertop. âThis is amazing. Do you even use it?â
Harry grinned, leaning casually against the island. âI use it for takeout. Does that count?â
She laughed, shaking her head. âI donât know how anyone could resist cooking in here.â
âI can resist pretty easily, love,â he said with a smirk. âBut if you ever fancy cooking together, Iâm happy to assist. Iâm great at stirring things and, uh⌠taste-testing.â
âOf course you are, no wonder you own a restaurant.â Y/N teased, giving him a playful nudge.
Harry chuckled, then nodded toward a door off to the side. âAlright, next stop: my office.â
He guided her through the door and into a smaller, cosier room that contrasted with the open, airy feel of the rest of the penthouse. The office was lined with dark wood shelves filled with books, a few framed photos, and scattered trinkets. A large desk sat in front of another set of floor-to-ceiling windows, the view just as stunning as the one in the living room.
âThis is where I get most of my work done,â he said, walking over to the desk and leaning on it. âOr where I try to, anyway. Sometimes I just sit here and stare out at the city.â
Y/N wandered over to the shelves, her fingers lightly brushing the spines of the books. âItâs so⌠you,â she said softly, glancing at the little detailsâa framed photo of him with his family, a guitar pick sitting on a stack of papers, and a candle that smelled faintly of cedar.
He raised an eyebrow. âYou mean messy?â
âNo,â she said, laughing. âI mean itâs thoughtful. Personal.â
Harryâs smile softened, and he reached out to take her hand again. âAlright, enough of the boring office. Time to show you the best room in the house.â
Y/Nâs heart skipped a beat as he led her back down the hallway to his bedroom. When he pushed open the door, her breath hitched.
The bedroom was even more stunning than sheâd imagined. The centerpiece was a massive bed with crisp white linens that looked impossibly soft, surrounded by sleek, minimal furniture. The far wall was made entirely of glass, offering an unobstructed view of the glittering city below. Heavy curtains were drawn to the sides, framing the view like a painting.
Harry watched her take it all in, a small smile tugging at his lips. âSo? What do you think?â
âItâs⌠incredible,â Y/N whispered, stepping into the room. She walked over to the windows, pressing her hands against the glass as she gazed out at the city. âI donât think Iâd ever sleep. Iâd just stay up staring at this view.â
âWell, lucky for you,â Harry said, coming up behind her and resting his hands gently on her shoulders, âthe bed is comfortable enough to make you forget about the view.â
She turned to look at him, her cheeks warming. âI donât know if thatâs possible.â
Harry grinned, his dimples on full display. âChallenge accepted, Bambi.â
He took her hand and led her to the bed, sitting down beside her. The mattress really did feel like a cloud as she sank into it.
âI was serious earlier,â Harry said, his tone softer now. âYou can sleep wherever you wantâthe bed, the couch, the office chair if youâre feeling adventurous. I just want you to be comfortable.â
Y/N smiled, her heart swelling at his thoughtfulness. âI already told you, Harry. I want to sleep here. With you.â
His eyes lit up at her words, and he leaned in to press a kiss to her forehead. âGood. Because Iâd be lying if I said I didnât want that too.â
Harry stood up, âIâll leave you to unpack. Iâve just go to make a few calls but thereâs an ensuite bathroom you can use to freshen up.â
After Harry brought her suitcase to the bedroom, he left her to unpack. Y/N unzipped it and pulled out her washbag, heading into the ensuite bathroom.
The bathroom was stunningâa walk-in shower with dark tiles and jets built into the walls. She stepped to the sink, admiring the clean lines of the vanity, and placed her washbag carefully on the counter. She couldnât help but smile when she noticed all of Harryâs skincare neatly organized in a cute little spinning containerâit was such a contrast to her own chaotic setup. But then her eyes landed on the glass by the sink, where his toothbrush rested.
Beside it was a pink toothbrush.
Her heart softened at the sight, a warm flutter spreading through her chest. There was something about that simple detail that made her feel all warm and gooey inside. Sheâd never believed she would find someone sheâd want to spend so much time with but here she was staying the night with Harry and about to meet his friends.Â
Y/N walked into the living room, where Harry was already sitting on the couch with his laptop perched on her lap. He smiled when he saw her, and then his gaze fell to the object she was holding. âIs that Monopoly?â he asked, raising an eyebrow.
Y/N nodded, her grin widening. âYeah, itâs the original version. I asked my brothers if I could bring it with me since we've had this set forever, and they would absolutely murder me if I lost any pieces. We have to be able to play it at Christmas."
The corner of Harryâs lips quirked in amusement. âHmm, may I ask why you decided to bring Monopoly with you today?â
Y/N paused, clearly puzzled. âIsnât that what people do at sleepovers? Play games?â
Harryâs grin spread wider. As she stepped closer, he reached out, pulling her toward him. She ended up collapsing onto his chest with a soft laugh.
âOh, Bambi,â he murmured, showering her face with quick kisses. His lips tickled her skin, making her giggle uncontrollably. âYouâre the most precious girl Iâve ever known, you know that?â
She smiled up at him, her cheeks flushed. âDoes that mean you want to play?â
Harry gave a dramatic sigh, still grinning. âOf course! Are you kidding me? I love this game.â
Y/N raised an eyebrow, her voice playful. âWell, be prepared. Iâm not one to brag, but Iâm pretty good at it.â
His eyes lit up with challenge. âOh, Bambiâs competitive, I see.â
A spark flickered in her eyes as she leaned in slightly, âJust a little.â
. . .
Harry loved discovering the many layers of his Bambi. To the outside world, she was shy and quiet, but to him, she was a multi-faceted woman, full of surprises he was peeling back one by one. Yet this afternoon might have revealed his favorite side of her yet.
Y/Nâs eyes sparkled with excitement and mischief as she declared her victory in Monopolyâlong before the game had officially ended. Harry had debated whether to let her win, as any gentleman might, but it turned out he didnât need to. She was fiercely competitive and had wiped the floor with him in just thirty minutes.
If time had allowed, Harry wouldâve played another round or concocted a new game just to watch her face light up with that same playful energy. The afternoon spent with her, laughing over a simple board game, had him envisioning Christmas mornings and holiday traditions for years to come. It was silly, perhaps, to think so far ahead so early in their relationship, but he didnât care. He couldnât picture a future without Bambi in it.
Still, as the game wrapped up, he could see her nerves creep back in. The mention of preparing to meet his friends made her retreat into herself, her earlier exuberance melting into quiet apprehension. Despite his reassurances, Harry knew sheâd wrestle with her anxiety until the dinner was behind them.
His friends, on the other hand, were eager to meet her. Their group chat had been buzzing with excitement about âthe girl who finally tied him down.â Since Harryâs family was back in England, his friends were the closest thing he had to family in LA, making their opinions matter. But he had no doubt theyâd love her.
In the living room, Harry waited for Y/N to finish getting ready, dressed in his tailored dark suit with a relaxed fit. The loose white tank underneath, with its wide scoop neckline, subtly revealed his tattoos, and the Pleasing logo stitched at the hem added a personal touch. Cream-colored loafers and white socks completed the look, his short curls neatly styled to keep them from obscuring his face.
The click of the bedroom door snapped him from his thoughts. He rose from the sofa, as alert as a puppy hearing its owner return. When Y/N stepped out, the oxygen seemed to leave the room entirely.
Her dress was light pink, soft and flowing, with thin spaghetti straps and a V-shaped neckline that showcased her dĂŠcolletage. The slightly sheer fabric hinted at her elegant curves, while the asymmetrical hemline added a whimsical touch. Her hair was slicked back into a high ponytail, and her makeup was pink-toned and dewy, enhancing her natural glow. She paired the dress with strappy silver heels and a small, dainty bag dangling from her shoulder.
Her hand clung to her opposite arm, feeling vulnerable as she stood before him. Harry felt his breath hitch, his lips parting as he tried to absorb how breathtaking she looked.
âBambiâŚâ he managed, his voice low and reverent.
Her cheeks flushed. âIs it too much?â she asked softly.
Harry stepped closer, taking her hands in his and pressing a kiss to her knuckles. âYou look beautiful. I donât even have the words to tell you how incredible you are.â
She ducked her head, shy like the deer he affectionately nicknamed her after. âThank you. You look very handsome, too,â she said with a smile.
âThank you, baby,â he murmured, his gaze fixed on her like she was the only thing in the world.
âDo you like my dress?â she asked, her voice tentative.
Harryâs hands slid to her waist, feeling the soft fabric and the gentle curve of her silhouette. âI love it.â
âI made it,â she admitted, her blush deepening.
His brows lifted in surprise. âYou did?â
She nodded, and Harry was awestruck. Heâd seen her sketches beforeâones she had reluctantly shared after he beggedâbut seeing her creations come to life was something else entirely.
Harry glanced at his watch, sighing reluctantly. âWe should probably get going, but firstâŚâ He pulled out his phone, aiming it at the two of them. Y/N laughed, trying to push the camera away, but eventually relented, leaning in to kiss his cheek just as he snapped the photo. His grin widened, his eyes crinkling with joy.
Taking her hand, he asked, âDo you need a jacket?â His gaze flicked to her bare arms.
âIâll be okay, as long as the bar has heating,â she replied with a small laugh.
Harry chuckled but grabbed a jacket on their way out anyway. He knew her well enough to anticipate the moment sheâd get cold but wouldnât say a word about it.
The drive to the bar felt like it took forever, thanks to the heavy city traffic. Harryâs hand remained warm on her thigh, and she wrapped her arm around his, seeking comfort from his touch. She chewed on her bottom lip, a nervous habit she couldnât seem to stop.
âA little,â she confessed, glancing over at him. âI just want them to like me. Iâve never had to introduce myself to anyoneâs friends before... I donât want to mess up.â
âYouâll be fine, Bambi,â Harry reassured her, his voice calm as always. Heâd said it so many times already, and she knew heâd say it dozens more if she needed to hear it. âJust be yourself. Thatâs all you need to be.â
Y/N wouldnât say it out loud, but the age difference between her and Harryâs friends had been weighing on her mind all evening. The nine-year gap between her and Harry had never been an issue for themâit felt inconsequential when they were together. But his friends might see it differently.
What if they thought she was too young, too inexperienced, too⌠immature for someone like him? Worse, what if they assumed she was with him for his success, for the money he worked so hard to earn? The mere thought made her stomach twist. She didnât want to be judged on circumstances she couldnât change or assumptions she couldnât dispel.
Harryâs friends meant a lot to him, and their approvalâor lack of itâwould sting far more than she cared to admit.
She nodded anyway, letting out a slow breath and turning her gaze to the window. The city lights blurred outside, their glow reflecting in her eyes. Even though his words helped calm her, she still couldnât shake the nerves.
When they pulled up to the bar, the fancy building loomed in front of them. A valet was already waiting, and Y/N couldnât help but notice how Harry always seemed to have the luxury treatment everywhere they went. It was a reminder of how different her world was from his, but she tried not to dwell on it.
As Harry stepped out of the car, Y/N noticed the photographers waiting outside. It wasnât a surprise, but it still made her stomach tighten. Harry wasnât a mega-celebrity, but he was well-known enough in the business world that the occasional paparazzi was inevitable.
Harry opened the door for her, his hand gently resting on her hip as he helped her out. His arm wrapped around her, pulling her close. He kissed the top of her head, and it felt like both a reassurance for her and a subtle message to the photographers.
The bar was dimly lit and sophisticated with shiny tables and chairs with red upholstery. Live jazz music played as people chatted over glasses of wine that probably cost more than Y/Nâs monthly wages had to offer. âDo you own this bar?â Y/N asked, clinging a little bit tighter to Harryâs hand.Â
Harry chuckled, his eyes dancing with amusement. âNot this one,â he said, guiding Y/N toward a booth at the back of the bar. As they approached, the laughter of a group already seated at the table reached her ears. The sound was warm, familiar, like a group of people who had known each other for years.
A man with long brunette hair had his arm around a woman with similar dark hair that cascaded in waves down her shoulders. The two of them were laughing, their faces lit up in shared joy, and Y/N couldnât help but feel a little nervous as they neared the group.
Before she could even take a deep breath, one of the men spotted them walking over. He had a rugged beard, and he stood up with a grin, his drink in hand.
âHarry!â he called out, extending his hand.
Harry gave him a knowing grin and shook his hand firmly, his other arm still wrapped around Y/N. âMate,â he greeted warmly, pulling him into a quick hug.
Y/N watched the exchange, trying to hide the anxious flutter in her stomach. She wasnât sure what to expect, but she knew this was an important moment for her. She hadnât met many of Harryâs close friends yet, and she couldnât shake the feeling that this would be a defining momentâhow they reacted to her, how sheâd fit in with this group that meant so much to him.
The man with the beard turned to Y/N, his eyes flickering with curiosity, and then he offered her a smile. âYou must be Y/N,â he said, his tone warm and welcoming. âItâs great to finally meet you.â
Y/N smiled, a little relieved at the friendly tone in his voice. âYeah, itâs nice to meet you too,â she replied, her nerves still there but starting to ease. âIâve heard so much about you guys.â
Harry stood beside her, his hand still resting at the small of her back, offering her silent support as she navigated this new territory.Â
The man with the beard grinned as he stepped back, giving Y/N a moment to breathe. "This is Mitch," Harry said, gesturing to the man with long brunette hair who was seated next to a woman with equally dark hair. Mitch gave her a warm, easy smile, his arm casually wrapped around Sarahâs shoulders.
"Itâs great to meet you, Y/N," Mitch said, his voice easy and friendly. "Harryâs told us all about you."
Y/Nâs nerves eased a little more as Mitchâs friendly demeanor helped her feel at home. "I hope itâs all good things," she said, a nervous laugh escaping her lips.
"Oh, definitely," Mitch replied, nudging Harry with his elbow and giving him a teasing grin.Â
Sarah, Mitchâs girlfriend, stood up from the booth with a bright smile, her waves of dark hair catching the light. She reached out to shake Y/Nâs hand, her voice warm and welcoming. âHi! Iâm Sarah. Itâs so nice to finally meet you.â
Y/Nâs heart fluttered, but Sarahâs friendly tone immediately put her at ease. âNice to meet you too,â she replied with a smile, trying to match Sarahâs warmth. "Harry's mentioned you guys a lot."
âGood things, I hope,â Sarah teased, winking as she sat back down beside Mitch.
Before Y/N could respond, a deep voice from the other side of the booth spoke up. âYou must be Y/N,â a man with a thick beard said, âIâm Jamie.â
âItâs good to meet you,â Y/N smiled.
Jamie gave her a smile that seemed to take up half his face, his eyes twinkling with humor. "Harryâs been keeping us in the loop." He offered her a firm handshake, his grip warm. âItâs about time we met the girl who finally has him whipped.â
Finally, a woman sitting across from Jamie stood up, her presence immediately commanding attention. Alessia was strikingâher short hair framed her face with confidence, and her posture was strong. She offered Y/N a small, warm smile. "Iâm Alessia," she said, extending a hand. "Itâs so good to meet you. Iâve heard a lot about you from Harry."
"Nice to meet you too," Y/N said, shaking her hand with a smile. There was something calming about Alessiaâs assuredness that made Y/N feel at ease, even though she was a little more reserved than the others.
As Alessia returned to her seat, Harryâs hand still rested on Y/Nâs back, a silent comfort in the midst of the introductions, as they sat in the booth next to Sarah and Mitch. His friends were exactly as heâd describedâkind, welcoming, and playful. They were a perfect match for Harry and that bought a sense of relief to her.Â
âCan I get you a drink?â Harry murmured to Y/N, his hand gently brushing against hers as he leaned in.
Y/N hesitated, biting her lip. She had never really drunk alcohol beforeânot because she didnât want to, but simply because she never really went out drinking. Whenever she was out with her brothers, she always stuck to something safe like Coke or Sprite. She felt a little embarrassed to admit that she wasnât sure what to order.
âUmâŚâ She fumbled for words, feeling self-conscious. "I...I don't really know what to drink."
Harryâs smile softened, as if he understood right away. âWould you like me to pick something for you?â
Y/N felt a wave of relief wash over her. He wasnât making her feel stupid. "Yes, please," she said gratefully, a slight smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
With a nod, Harry turned and motioned for the guys to follow him toward the bar. As they walked off, Y/N felt her nerves kick in again. She was left standing with Sarah and Alessia, the two women who already seemed so at ease with each other and the group.
Y/N suddenly felt a little out of her element. She wasnât used to hanging out with other women in this kind of setting. With her brothers, everything was easy and casual, but this... this felt different. She was afraid that her awkwardness would be obvious, so she searched for something to say, anything to break the silence.
It didnât take long for Sarah to sense her discomfort. She leaned forward with a welcoming smile. âWhereâs your dress from? Itâs gorgeous,â she asked, her voice light and friendly.
Y/N's face softened at the compliment, and she felt more at ease. âOh, um, I actually made it,â she said, a little shy but proud. "I love fashion, so Iâve been sketching designs for a while."
Sarahâs eyes widened, impressed. âWait, you made it? Thatâs amazing!â She looked at Y/N with genuine admiration. âIt looks beautiful on you. I honestly thought it was something you bought from a high-end store.â
Y/N laughed softly, feeling a bit shy but happy with the compliment. âThanks, that means a lot. Iâve kept a lot of my sketches in an old notebook, but Iâve always wanted to show them to someone.â
âI would love to see them sometime,â Sarah said enthusiastically. âIâm obsessed with fashion too. Maybe we can swap ideas sometime.â
Alessia, who had been listening with a smile, chimed in. âYouâre really talented. Iâm sure Harryâs lucky to have someone so creative around especially with his company.âÂ
âDo you guys work in fashion too?â Y/N asked, genuinely curious about the two women sheâd just met.
âJust Harry, Iâm afraid,â Sarah replied with a playful smile. âWe all went to art school, though. Mitch and I own an art gallery together, and Jamie runs a theatre company.â
âAnd I design album art for artists,â Alessia added, her voice warm and casual.
Y/Nâs eyes widened in genuine awe. âWow. Thatâs so impressive. Is that how you all met? Through art school?â
âYep, we were kind of the outcasts of our year group,â Sarah said with a chuckle, âso we stuck together. And look where we are now.â
Y/N smiled, feeling the closeness between the group. âThatâs so cool. And... were you and Mitch together back then?â
âOh no,â Alessia laughed, shaking her head. âSarah and Mitch didnât get together until after art school. It was excruciating to witnessâthose two pining over each other for four years and never doing anything about it.â
Y/N couldnât help but laugh at Alessiaâs blunt description. âThat sounds like a movie.â
âIt kind of was,â Sarah said, laughing with her. âBut it worked out in the end.â
âI bet Harry told you about us,â Alessia continued, leaning in a bit. âHe told us he was bringing you tonight, and we were all nervous, actually.â
Y/N raised her eyebrows, surprised. âReally? I was nervous too.â
âAre you kidding? After Harryâs last âgirlfriend,ââ Sarah said with a playful eye-roll, âwe thought weâd be meeting some bitchy gold-digger whoâd be all over him, trying to separate him from us. But then we met you, and it was like, thank Godâyouâre nothing like that. Honestly, weâre so relieved.â
âHarry talks about you non-stop,â Alessia added with a teasing grin. âFor the last month and a half, itâs been âY/N this, Y/N that,â in our group chat. Itâs kind of sweet, honestly.â
âReally?â Y/N blinked, her face softening with surprise.
Sarah smiled warmly. âYeah, donât worry, itâs nice to hear. He deserves someone who treats him right, you know? Especially after everything heâs done for all of us.â
Alessia nodded, her expression turning a little more serious. âHe got me out of some serious debt. I was on the brink of losing everything, close to being homeless... but Harry stepped in. He rented me a place, helped me get back on my feet, and even called in a favor that landed me my first real job. Heâs the most caring person I know.â
Y/Nâs heart warmed at Alessiaâs words. This wasnât the first time sheâd heard someone speak so highly of Harry, but it never failed to move her. Hearing it from his friends, people who had seen him at his best and worst, made her realise just how deeply Harry cared about the people in his lifeâand just how lucky she was to be part of it.Â
Soon Harry returned with the boys, sliding into the seat next to her. He placed a drink in front of her, âI got you an Aperol Spritz but if you donât like it I can get you something else.â He told her.Â
âThank you,â She beamed up at him and took a sip of her drink. It was light and bubbly with a slight bitter yet citrusy taste. The more she drank, the more she enjoyed the taste of it. Â
Harry continued conversing with his friends, and Y/N found herself enjoying the easy banter between them. It was nice to see this side of himârelaxed, almost boyish, and playful. The way his friends teased each other with such familiarity made her smile, and it felt like she was catching a glimpse of Harryâs world before sheâd come into it.
She liked his friends. All of them were warm and welcoming, each with their own distinct personalities, but there was a genuine closeness that she could see. They kept her in the loop, filling in the gaps on things she might not have fully understoodâlike an inside joke or a shared memoryâuntil she felt like she was beginning to grasp the dynamics between them.
Sarah and Alessia were especially attentive, constantly asking her questions and trying to learn everything about her. Y/N appreciated their curiosity and kindness. They didnât make her feel like an outsider, instead showing genuine interest in her life and her background.Â
Every so often, Y/N would catch Harry looking down at her. Heâd check in on her, his gaze soft, making sure she was okay and not feeling overwhelmed. His protective instincts were clear, and she was grateful for it. He didnât hover, but whenever he could, heâd quietly reassure her with a small smile or a squeeze of her hand under the table.
Despite the lively atmosphere, Y/N felt like she wasnât just another guest at the tableâshe was part of the conversation, part of the group. And it was easy to relax into that sense of belonging as the night wore on. Even though she was still a little out of her comfort zone, she couldnât help but feel more at ease with every passing minute, especially with Harry so nearby.
She laughed at something Sarah had said, a light, genuine sound that felt more natural than she expected. The whole night had been surprisingly fun, and for once, she was enjoying being part of something so lively, instead of shrinking back. Â
âSo Y/N, whatâs Harry like as a boyfriend?â Jamie asked, causing Y/N to freeze in her seat.
Harryâs hand stilled from where it had been drawing invisible circles on her knee. The table seemed to pause, sensing the awkwardness in the air.
âThat bad?â Jamie chuckled, trying to lighten the moment.
Y/Nâs mind scrambled for the right words. She wasnât sure how to describe their relationshipâthings were still new, and they had never really put a label on it beyond "dating." Her mouth felt dry as she fumbled for a response.
âU-um, weâre notâ I donât thinkââ Y/N stumbled, her face flushing. She didnât know how to put it into words, not wanting to make things awkward or overthink it.
Before she could continue, Sarah quickly chimed in with a grin, âA better boyfriend than you.â
The entire table burst out laughing, and the tension in the air seemed to lift immediately. Jamie threw his hands up in mock defeat, shaking his head with a smirk.
âAlright, alright. Iâll take the loss. But Iâm definitely curious now,â he said, leaning forward. âWhat makes Harry such a great boyfriend, then?â
Y/N glanced at Harry, meeting his eyes, which were filled with amusement but also a warmth that made her heart skip. "Yeah, Bambi, what am I like as a boyfriend?"
Her lips parted at the question. It was the first time he had referred to their relationship so openly, and the realisation hit her in a way that made her smile nervously.
âWell,â Y/N began, her voice softening as she relaxed, âheâs incredibly thoughtful. Heâs always checking in on me, making sure Iâm alright, andâhe actually listens. Heâs not the kind of guy who brushes off what I say or rushes through things. Heâs really present.â
Harryâs hand slid over to hers under the table, his fingers intertwining with hers in a quiet show of support. He squeezed her hand gently, his gaze tender, saying everything without needing words.
âAnd heâs fun,â Y/N added with a light laugh, her nervousness easing. âHe doesnât take himself too seriously, which is honestly one of my favorite things about him.â
Harryâs smile deepened at her words, and there was something in the way he looked at herâlike he was asking her a question without saying it aloud. âI love it⌠Being his girlfriend.â Y/N blushed but Harryâs face widened into a grin, one of his dimples appearing on his cheek.Â
The group exchanged knowing glances, clearly enjoying the moment. Alessia raised her glass, her eyes twinkling.
âTo Y/N, we wish you all the luck in the world for having to put up with us.â she said, toasting her with a wink.
Everyone joined in, lifting their glasses, and Y/N felt her heart swell at the way Harryâs friends rallied around them.Â
. . .
Y/N hadnât noticed how much Harry had had to drink until his head rested on her shoulder, in the middle of her conversing some more with Sarah and Alessia, âThink I want to go home Bambi,â He murmured. Y/N pushed his droopy curls back and saw the hazy look in his eye, a lazy smile on his lip, âSo pretty,â His lips puckered as he spoke.Â
Y/N giggled, âHow are we meant to get home silly, you drove us here.â
âOh yeah,â Harry huffed, âI did didnât I?â
Sarah chuckled, âWe can drop you guys home on the way back to our place. Weâll just tell the valet to keep hold of his car. He can pick it up tomorrow as punishment.âÂ
Y/N laughed softly, nodding her thanks to Sarah. "That sounds like a good plan," she said, looking down at Harry, whose cheek was now squished adorably against her shoulder. He was humming a tune she couldnât quite place, the sound low and soothing despite his obvious tipsiness.
Harryâs hand found hers under the table, his fingers clumsily lacing through hers. âYâ make me the happiest Bambi. âM so happy yâ mâ girlfriend.â he mumbled, his words slightly slurred but unmistakably earnest.
Y/Nâs cheeks flushed, her heart skipping a beat. âThatâs a lot of happy,â
âIt is isnât it?â Harry laughs.Â
Sarah stood up, grabbing her bag. âAlright, letâs get you two lovebirds home.â
Y/N helped him to his feet. He wobbled slightly, leaning heavily against her. âYouâre my favorite person ever, you know that?â he said as they made their way to the exit, his voice loud enough to draw a few amused glances from nearby tables.
âI think Iâm starting to get the idea,â Y/N replied, her tone affectionate as she wrapped an arm around his waist to steady him.
âIâm hungry,â he announced loudly. âCan we get chips? Or pizza?â
âLetâs get you home first, superstar,â Mitch said, clapping him on the back and making Harry stumble slightly into Y/N.
âYouâre my hero,â Harry murmured dramatically as they shuffled toward the car, his arm draped over her shoulder. âYou saved me, Bambi. Youâre the best.â
âYouâre going to think otherwise when you see how many embarrassing photos Sarah and Alessia probably took tonight,â Y/N quipped, her laughter blending with the othersâ as they piled into the car.
âEmbarrassing?â Harry blinked at her, his expression mock-serious. âNever. I look good in all lighting.â
Y/N shook her head, letting out a laugh as Harryâs head found her shoulder once more. âWeâll see about that in the morning,â she said, her voice fond.
Harry let out a contented sigh. âYou smell so nice,â he murmured sleepily.
Y/N giggled, smoothing her hand over his curls. âYouâre ridiculous.â
As the car pulled away from the bar, Harry mumbled something about her being âtoo good for himâ before trailing off into a soft snore. Y/N looked down at him, her heart swelling. Even in his drunken, clumsy state, he had a way of making her feel like the most important person in the world.
Once Sarah and Mitch dropped them off right at Harryâs front door, Y/N was left with the daunting task of lugging Harry to his room. He wasnât exactly helping, his body swaying dramatically as she tried to steady him.
âHarry, youâre not making this easy,â she huffed, half-laughing as he stumbled. By some miracle, she managed to guide him to the bed, where he flopped downâhalf on the mattress, half on the floor.
âMission accomplished,â she muttered under her breath, crouching down to untie his laces. But just as she reached for his shoe, he playfully kicked his foot away, his lips curling into a cheeky grin.
âCâmere, Bambi,â he murmured, his voice low and a little slurred.
Y/N stood, brushing off her knees, only to find herself being tugged down onto the bed when he grabbed her wrist. She landed on top of him with a surprised gasp, her hands braced against his chest.
âHarry!â she exclaimed softly, but he didnât say anything, just looked up at her with those green eyes, hazy but full of something she couldnât quite describe.
For a moment, neither of them spoke. The world around them seemed to blur as they gazed at each other, an unspoken connection passing between them. Harry reached up, his fingers gently tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. The faint smell of alcohol lingered on his breath, but his touch was steady, his expression achingly tender.
âMean it,â he whispered, his voice barely audible. âYou make me the happiest.â
Y/Nâs heart twisted at the sincerity in his words, her breath catching in her throat. Her lips curved into a soft smile as she cupped his cheek, her thumb brushing against his skin. âYou make me the happiest too, Harry.â

Never Really Over
Lando Norris x Sainz! Reader
*ŕŠâŠâ§âËwarnings: 18+ MDNI, one bed trope/ forced proximity but barely, slight fake dating, alcohol mentioned/ used, smut, oral (f receiving), fingering, unprotected sex, small amounts of angst, minimal swearing, talks of marriage and children, please let me know if I missed any
*ŕŠâŠâ§âËword count: 3.8k
*ŕŠâŠâ§âËsummary: You and Lando had broken up though decided it was best that no one knew. Max and Kelly's wedding forces you to come together, making it hard to disguise your true feelings. What can possibly go wrong?
.ŕłŕżrequest: found here
â§âË âŠÂ°ď˝Ąâ⥠âËâĄâĄ âËâĄâĄâ・°âŠËââ§âË âŠÂ°ď˝Ąâ⥠âËâĄâĄ âËâĄâĄâ・°âŠË
It was difficult being an open book while simultaneously attempting to hide your break up from not only your brother, but anyone who had been invested in seeing the relationship prosper. More often than not you found yourself having to make up answers to questions pertaining to the subject or switch the topic all together. And even if the news of the breakup did somehow come out, you werenât sure how youâd explain the situation that led to it. The memories of that night were hazy to say the least.Â
You could faintly remember the fuzzy feeling of alcohol and the buzz of music around you that night. There was no doubt that you had been out at some party or club, as you often found yourself at one. Though everything beyond that felt like a badly painted watercolor portrait; the colors, or events in this case, bleeding together into a cruel image of that night.Â
âWhat are you saying?â he asked, voice cracking as he searched your face for an answer. The words coming from your mouth slurred but determined.Â
âIâm not an idiot, Lando. What else would you be doing when you go out to celebrate your wins for races I didn't attend?â
âYou think Iâm cheating on you? This is what this whole thing is about?â his voice raised with slight anger.Â
âYeah,â you raised your voice back at him. You wanted to blame the sudden burst of jealousy completely on the alcohol, but you knew that would be a lie, there had always been an insecure pit in your stomach that had only been growing since you began dating. âYouâre an attractive, famous athlete. It would be weird if you werenât.â
âWhat's the point of being in a relationship if you canât trust me?â
âThe door is wide open, Lando. No one is holding you here by force,â you hadnât meant those words, but they couldnât be taken back.Â
âIs that what you want? You want to break up?â you couldnât bring yourself to look at him, let alone answer his question. âFine,â he whispered, running a hand over his face, pacing around the hotel room, âAlright.â
The only memory that seemed to feel concrete and not muddled by all the drinks of the night prior, was the moment you woke up the following day. The sloppily written note on a receipt from some club letting you know that he had left per your request. And even though he didnât explicitly say things were over, it wasnât difficult to understand what the note was implying. Beside the fact that you two no longer interacted as a couple, everything else seemed normal, especially to those who didnât pry beyond surface level. It was for good reason that you two did this; Carlos would have taken your side regardless of the situation, and you didnât want to be the root cause of a possible falling out. Maybe that's why you didnât blame Max and Kelly when they told you that you would be sharing a room with Lando for their wedding.Â
You had somehow arrived before Lando, taking that time to unpack and mentally prepare to be in such an intimate space with him after such a long time apart. Things were definitely going to be awkward; you were certain you would have to tell everyone the truth about the status of your relationship. It was becoming increasingly clear to you that lying to everyone hadnât been the best idea. But telling the truth now, when it had been months of lying, was certain to dampen the vibe of the next few days and put a rift between everyone involved. So as Lando walked into the room you couldn't stop yourself from blurting out your disapproval.Â
âWe canât possibly tell them the truthâ it would ruin everything, and I refuse to ruin Max and Kellyâs wedding week.âÂ
He stared blankly at you, shutting the door and placing his suitcase beside it, âJesus, could you give a man a few seconds. Iâve just barely walked through the door.â You ran a nervous hand through your hair, pacing across the expanse of the room. How could he look so calm about this, you envied how well he played things off. No matter how much things truly affected him, he always had to have an obnoxious nonchalant air to him. âYouâre making me dizzy,â he let out a slight chuckle that made your eye twitch.
âIâm sorry for being the only one concerned over this, Lando.âÂ
âMore like paranoid. Relax, there's nothing to be concerned about,â he said with a light shrug, throwing himself onto the only bed. It stuck out like a sore thumb, a reminder of how difficult it would be to ignore him over the next couple of days.Â
âWhat are we going to do about that?â you asked, nodding towards the bed a tense expression plastered on your usually calm face.Â
âWeâre adults, sharing a bed isnât a big deal, right?â
âNot a big deal at all,â you agreed, letting out a shaky breath attempting to calm your nerves. He nodded, giving you an awkward smileâ the only sign of the emotions he was hiding behind his mask. For a moment you were sure he was just as concerned as you were, if not more.

Rehearsal dinners, a momentous event for any wedding. Sure, the actual wedding ceremony and reception are consequential, but the rehearsal dinner sets the tone for those two. Landos presence alone hand you high strung, now add the high stake of this fake commitment you both had. The clamminess of your hands increased tenfold as you sat beside him, occasionally giving a small smile as Lando conversed with those around you. The conversations around you seemed to fade as you focused on the napkin in front of you. Its stark whiteness against the deep colors of the tableware around it making it stand out. It almost felt like the napkin was taunting you, as if saying, âYouâre not fooling anyone, you two stand out as much as I do in this sea of real couples.â
âAre you okay?â Carlos asks you from across the table, face etched into a mix of concern and suspicion. Your silence throughout this whole ordeal becoming a clear indicator that something was wrong.Â
âHm?â
âI asked if you're okay,â he repeated, eyes glancing between you and Lando.Â
âYeah, Iâm fine,â you responded with a shaky smile.Â
Carlos' eyes narrowed at you, clearly not buying your answer, he seemed to want to say more but hesitated. Lando quickly intercepted the conversation moving on to a topic he could easily control.Â
âHow much do you want to bet that Max will cry tomorrow?â Lando asked, a playful smirk making its way onto his face, âI say he starts crying as soon as he gets ready for the ceremony.âÂ
âI bet youâll cry more at your wedding,â Carlos says smiling at you and Lando, it's clear he's fond of the idea of a wedding between his sister and close friend.Â
âYeah, probably, but we have a few more years until we even start worrying about that,â Lando placed a hand behind your chair, his fingers gently grazing the exposed skin of your back.Â
âYou didnât deny the idea of a wedding, does that mean you plan to marry my sister?â
âLet's slow down, mate. I'm not going to deny or admit anything,â Lando let out a laugh, tracing soft shapes onto your shoulder. For once his words and actions didnât feel forced, as if this were second nature to him. It was almost impossible to tell if he was being truthful in his response or if it was all part of the act. You stared at the half empty glass of wine in front of you, hands moving on their own accord to bring the glass to your lips allowing you to nearly down it all in one go. You were going to need a lot more to drink if you were going to sell the act.
Maybe you had underestimated how much you had to drink or perhaps everything was becoming too hard to control. You felt Landos arm wrap around your waist as he guided you back to your shared room, whispering about something you had done though you didnât catch what he said and you could hardly remember the rest of the dinner.Â
âYouâre a lightweight,â Lando sighed as he sat you at the edge of the bed, kneeling down to unstrap your heels. His touch against your bare ankle felt nothing short of electric, something so intense and mind numbing.Â
âIâve missed you,â you drunkenly admit, running your foot against his chest.Â
His grip on your ankle tightens in an attempt to hinder your movement, âhm,â he hums out as a response, impulsively lifting your leg up to press a small kiss to the inside of your ankle. The familiar pressure of his lips against your skin erupts your skin in goosebumps.Â
âWeâre more in love than ever before,â you say, giving Lando one of the most sincere smiles he's seen from you in a while, his grip on your shoulder tightening slightly as you talked to Kelly, âRight, Lando?â
âAbsolutely madly in love,â he says, leaning in to press a kiss to your cheek. He hadn't expected you to move and plant your lips against his in a sloppy drunk kiss, drawing laughs from those around you.Â
His lips continue to travel up your calf, his eyes trained on your face to catch any glimpse of change in your expression. He pushes you down against the bed, hovering over you, âYouâre drunk,â he lets out a sigh, resting his head in the crook of our neck.Â
âAnd?â
âWe shouldnât do this while you're drunkâ I refuse to do this while you're drunk,â Lando whispers, unsure if he's trying to convince you or himself, âI donât want you to regret this when you're sober, and it's just wrong.â
You grab his face, pulling him away from his hiding spot in your neck. You stare at him for a while before bringing his face closer to your own, gently meeting your lips in a surprisingly fluid kiss.Â
Lando quickly pulls away, standing from his spot on top of you, âNo, not while youâre⌠like that,â he rubs a hand on his face, gesturing frustratedly at you. He grabs a pillow and a sheet from the bed, laying on the decently sized couch in the room deciding it would be better to sleep away from youâ considering the state you were in.Â
The blinding light coming from the window awoke you the following morning, your pulsating headache the only reminder of the night before. Lando was already awake, still laying on the couch typing away on his phone. He seemed to feel your gaze on him, âHow are you feeling?â he asked, sitting up to get a better look at you, his voice filled with slight concern.
âIâve felt better, canât remember shit,â you admit, placing a hand on your forehead as if it would do anything to calm the pulsing headache.Â
âThat's probably for the better,â he stares at you longingly, it's clear that he does remember whatever happened at the rehearsal dinner and your shared room, âwe should begin getting ready, we canât be late to Max and Kellys big day.â You wanted to press him for answers, force him to reveal the source of his distant attitude, but decided against it. Things couldnât get more tense between you, especially not tonight.
Ęââ Í ĚŠÍ ď¸ľ ĚŠÍ ŕ¨ âĄ ŕ§ ĚŠÍ â︾ ĚŠÍ Í É
The wedding ceremony had been beautiful, Max had indeed cried almost as soon as Kelly began to make her way towards him. And even now as they sat together at the wedding reception you could catch the hint of a happy tear poke its way out of his eyes.Â
You felt Landos hand slip around your waist, pulling you closer to his side. He had remained by your side since the wedding ceremony, refusing to leave you for even a second. His actions felt less forced than they had previously felt. And as he leaned in to whisper something in your ear bits and pieces of the day prior began to escape the floodgates of your mind.Â
You let out a small giggle as Lando whispered into your ear, âstop it, youâre not acting like yourself. Theyâll catch on,â his breath tickling you.Â
âI just love you so much,â you whispered back, placing a kiss to the corner of his lips, giggling to yourself like a child. Youâd never been big on PDA but in your drunken state you couldnât seem to keep your hands and lips off of Lando.Â
âYou too are adorable, as in love as when you first started datingâ perhaps even more in love,â Alexandra said from beside Charles, smiling between you and Lando.Â
âOur love has definitely grown. Weâre going to get married and have kids,â you leaned into Landos touch, your smile widening at Alexandra's words.Â
âOkay, you've had way too much to drinkâ I think it's time to go to bed. Weâll see you guys tomorrow,â Lando announced to the table, shaking his head with a nervous laugh.Â
âOh weâre sure you're gonna go to bed,â Daniel teased, causing the table to erupt in laughter.
âHey, you okay?â Lando asked, concern written all over his face, his eyes dancing across your face.Â
âYeah.â
âYou spaced out, didnât even react to what I said.â
âWhat did you say?â you asked, finally snapping out of the memory of the night prior.Â
He stared at you, his face still overtaken with concern, âI said, we sold the lie pretty goodâŚâ he whispered. If you didnât know better you'd think he was upset, upset that it was all a show. For a moment he frowned, quickly smiling again, âLets go dance,â he grabbed your hand, dragging you to the dance floor.Â
Lando placed his hands on your hips, pulling you close to him, moving you both to the rhythm of the song. He smiled tenderly at you, and everything began to blur into a confusing mess. You werenât sure what was real and what was a lie fabricated to convince everyone that you were still madly in love. He played the role of loving boyfriend so well that you were beginning to fall for the charade too, you were starting to believe that he still loved you and had never stopped.Â
Your head found its way to his chest, resting there as if it were its official home. The both of you continued to silently sway to the music. The world around you seemed to disappear, almost as if you were the only ones that mattered at that moment. It was confusing how you felt so connected to him yet so far.
Lando rested his shin atop your head for a moment. He straightened out his back, bringing your dancing to a halt, hand reaching to grasp your chin so that you were staring at him. âPlease tell me youâre not faking it,â he whispered, his eyes desperately searching yours, âtell you still love me. That youâve meant every fleeting touch, every stolen glance, every kiss youâve given me this weekend⌠please.â
You weren't sure if it was the alcohol or his words that made the room around you spin, forcing you to grasp onto the jacket of his suit to stabilize yourself. The music you were dancing to just a moment ago now a murmured buzz in your ear. You wanted to be truthful, to admit that you had never stopped loving him and possibly never would. The look of desperation on his face urging you to confess your soul to him. âOf course I love youâ you finally said aloud for the first time in months, relief instantly flooding his face.Â
Lando cupped your cheek, gently caressing it, a genuine smile spreading across his face. Neither of you had been faking anything, that much was clear as his lips found their place on top of your own. It was gentle, not rushed but relaxed, as if you had until the end of times to relish in each other's presence. He pulled away after a while, letting your lips hoverâ barely touching, breathing in each other's shaky breaths. âDo you think theyâd notice if we left?â he asked, looking around the reception.
âNo, everyone is focused on Max and Kelly.â
âGood,â he said, slightly out of breath as he led you towards the exit. You silently thanked Max and Kelly for choosing to have their wedding close to where you were all staying.Â
It didn't take you long to get back to your room, instantly finding each other in a heated kiss. Bodies pressing against one another as you desperately tried to get closer, almost as if you wanted to become one.Â
âTake this off,â Lando mumbled against your neck as he pulled at the zipper of your dress in a pitiful attempt to help you get undressed. You let the fabric pool on the floor, kicking off your heels, leaving you exposed to his hunger filled eyes.Â
âIt's not fair that Iâm completely naked youâre not,â you complained as he guided you towards the bed, gently pushing you onto it when the back of your knees hit the edge.Â
He tossed his suit jacket aside, his fingers attempting to quickly and smoothly unbutton his shirt, âbetter?â he asked as he was left shirtless.Â
You sat up for a moment, your hands working to rid him of his trousers, smiling and resting back on the bed when you finally succeeded, âMuch better.â
Lando pressed himself against you, placing kisses down your neck, âYouâre beautiful,â he whispered, your hands tangling themselves into his hair as you pulled him up for a kiss. It was much more rushed than the previous kisses had been, his teeth clashing against your own, your tongues pressing against one another. His hands ran up and down the expanse of your body before finding their new home atop your breasts, each one kneading at them.Â
You wrapped your hand around his wrist, pulling his hand down towards your pussy, gasping at his thumb rubbed against your clit. He pulled away from your lips, leaving you out of breath, kissing down your body. "Please,â you whispered as he positioned himself between your legs, pressing soft kisses to your thighs. Running his tongue up your slit, wrapping his lips on to your sensitive nub. Lando continued to switch between lapping at your cunt and sucking at your clitâ teasing your entrance with his middle finger, slowly pushing it in. Encouraged by your moans and the wet squelching sound coming from between your thighs, he sped up his actions, swallowing at you like a starved man. You pushed against his head, back arching off the bed as your first orgasm of the night washed over you.Â
Lando pulled away, smiling up at you, âstill know how to get you off,â he said smugly, pressing a quick kiss to your thigh.
âJust shut up and fuck me,â you urged him, pulling him back up, pressing a kiss to his lips.Â
âBut teasing you is so fun.â
You rolled your eyes, wrapping your legs around him, quickly switching your position so that you were on top of him. âDonât make me regret this,â you spat on your hand, taking his hard cock in your hand giving it a teasing jerk.Â
âPlease donâtâ he grunted, your finger running against his slit. Your brows drawn together in concentration as you lined him up to your entrance, letting out a shaky breath as sank down onto him. You took a moment to adjust to having him inside you, resting your hand against his chest to steady yourself as you lifted your hips and brought them back down. You let out a shaky breath as you began to ride him, guiding his hands up to your breasts and they bounced with your movement. You had forgotten how full it felt to have him within youâ clenching around his cock as he sucked at one of your breasts, rolling the other nipple between his fingers.Â
Your pace faltered as you lost yourself in the pleasure, letting out loud gasps as Lando began to thrust up to meet your movements. He wrapped his hand around your hips, bringing them down harder to meet his thrusts. Landos pace increased as your nails dug into his chest, rhythm becoming sloppy as he felt his orgasm approach. âI should probably pull out,â he rasped but made no attempt to do so.Â
âIt's okay, I'm on birth control,â you breathed out.Â
âShit,â he stilled your movements, spilling inside of you, his fingers finding their way back to your clit in an attempt to pull another orgasm from you. Your head fell into the crook of his neck as you came for a second time. The room around you spinning slightly as you attempted to catch your breath.Â
âDo you think theyâve noticed weâre gone?â he asked breathlessly, voice still shaky.Â
âDefinitely.â
âShould we go back?â
âNo,â you respond, lifting yourself off of Lando to lay beside him. You had no desire to redress and mingle at the reception after what had happened. You couldn't trust your feet to carry you for the rest of the night, especially when you still felt the dizzying effects of sex.

They had noticed your absence, and they teased you relentlessly about it the few days after the wedding. You had reconciled with Lando, your relationship going back to the way it was before the stupid argument. And with that reconciliation came the confession, in which you confessed to everyone that you had briefly broken up. Although the break up had been entirely your fault, upon hearing the confession Carlos glared at Landoâ muttering not so empty threats to him about not hurting you. You were certain he would have strangled Lando if you hadnât reconciled.Â
You smiled up at Lando as you lounged in the living room, resting your head back onto his chest. He placed a lingering kiss on the stop of your head, wrapping his arms around you. This had been your reality since Max and Kellys wedding, pure bliss. You couldnât experience and explore for one another every waking moment.Â
âI could stay like this forever,â Lando whispered into your hair, his grip around you tightening as if he were scared to lose you again. Or as if he thought this were a dream and you'd vanish at any moment with the simple sound of an alarm. But you were real and you werenât going to lose one another again, you wouldn't allow that.Â
âMe too,â you whispered back, âI love you.â

ËË á° ââ hyunjin messes up and kkami helps him apologize
ďšĘÉËďš. genre: fluff (might be the cutest thing i wrote recently)
ďšĘÉËďš. a/n: this is definitely inspired by the new book i'm obsessing over right now so pls enjoy and let me know what you think!! <33
âWell, well, look who finally remembered he has a loving partner missing him at home.â
You hear Hyunjin sigh on the other end, sheepish, obviously expecting youâd cut him some slack for disappearing for days, like talking to him wasnât the best part of your day. Touring was hard, and heâs been insanely busy from day one â you get it. Thatâs why, your toneâs more playful than intended, only being able to let the phone ring for two heartbeats before rushing to answer and let his velvety voice bring sunshine back into your dull life.
âHello, the absolute love of my life I think about daily.â He clears his throat, brushing over your comment in hopes youâre not truly upset he hasnât called in so long. Two days werenât a big deal, but for clingy people like you and him, going 48 hours without hearing what the other has been up to was torture. It was just enough time for insecurity to creep in, feeding you lies upon lies about how heâd forgotten your relationship and was currently in the process of replacing you with someone else, someone better and more worthy of owning his heart.
Your heart flutters, a grin finding its way onto features despite your attempts at stopping it. âHello, Hyunjin.â
âWho the fuck is Hyunjin?â
No longer able to keep the happiness at bay, you burst out laughing, the aggravation clear as day in the absence of his usual pet name. Hyunjin was your baby, nothing else. His name only ever left your pretty lips you couldnât wait to press against his only when the situation called for seriousness.
Settling down, you ignore his displeased huffing. âThe guy who hasnât called me in a week. You might know him.â
Youâre teasing. You both know it, just like he knows that behind your words, the only genuine thing is the longing and the wish to have him close again, missing the steady beat of his heart and his familiar warmth that usually lulled you to sleep, badly. Hyunjin has always been great at reading between the lines, figuring you out easily, like you were nothing more than an unchallenging puzzle he could solve with his eyes closed.
âA week? I know I messed up, love, but itâs only been two days. Not even, just about 45 hours.â You hear sheets rustling on the other end, helping you picture him lounging about in the hotel bed, hair most likely still damp from his previous shower. For once, the time difference was not absurd, allowing you to stare wistfully at the moon with certainty the other was doing the same, sharing stories of your love and trusting sheâll keep them safe.
âYou counted?â You giggle, making yourself more comfortable on the couch, right next to Kkami who is sleeping soundly.
âIâve been counting the hours until I can see you again the second I stepped outside our apartment.â He confesses, voice suddenly heavy with emotion before he gasps, ruining what could have been a sweet moment. âYouâre telling me you havenât?â
Of course, you have. Time seemed to go by incredibly slowly whenever he wasnât near, the increasing distance causing his magnetic pull to grow weaker each day, but never diminishing, never losing its hold on you. That was impossible.
âNo.â You lie blatantly, leaning back against the couch casually, one hand moving to slowly pet Kkamiâs head whose slumber gave him the perfect excuse to ignore you.
âLiar.â
For the first time in your life, the fact that he knew you like the back of his hand was annoying.
âDonât change the subject! Youâre still not in the clear for forgetting about me for two whole days, Hyunjin.â Youâre not actually mad, just feeling a little bit neglected. Hyunjin has never gone MIA like that, without even texting you brief updates throughout the day just so youâll know he was still alive and kicking. Your boyfriend was thoughtful, sweet, and considerate â the radio silence you got for the past two days was very unlike him.
âI didnât forget.â He counters, and youâre sure heâs shaking his head vehemently, denying all of your accusations. âI could never forget, not in this lifetime or any others.â
âLiar.â You mock him, making a face he canât see and tease you about like heâd usually do. âYou could have texted, at least. Let me know youâd be busy.â
âIâm sorry, love.â His voice is soft, apology genuine as can be when he doesnât try to justify himself or find excuses. Hyunjin is aware that if the roles were reversed, heâd feel the same way youâre feeling right now, the anxiety and worry eating at him from the inside and leaving behind a restlessness he couldnât shake off no matter how hard he tried to. And he does, to an extent. Not being able to contact you drove him on the brink of insanity, making him moodier and more difficult to work it, which was so unlike him.
âCan I talk to Kkami?â He adds, trying to make it up to you in his own, creative way youâve come to love.
âWhat?â You canât help but laugh, not sure you heard him right.
âPass the phone to Kkami for a moment, please?â
Now youâre curious, wondering what that beautiful mind had in store for you this time. Youâve been dog-sitting Kkami since he left, sending him regular updates in hopes of brightening up his day and keeping the homesickness at bay. Your camera roll has been full of pictures and videos of Kkami - walking him, playing together and being cute just for Hyunjinâs delight. A small price to ensure your boyfriendâs everlasting happiness.
âShould I leave you two alone? Give you some privacy?â
He laughs, and you hear the sound of a bag zipping up. âYes. This is just between us boys, sorry baby.â
Shaking your head with a smile, you do as he asks, lowering the phone close to Kkamiâs ear like the pup could actually catch Hyunjin up on whatâs been happening around the house since he left. At the sound of his ownerâs voice, Kkamiâs eyes open as his ears perk up, visibly excited to hear him after so long. With his tail waggling, Kkami listens attentively to whatever Hyunjin is telling him, sleep long forgotten as you start giggling next to him, not believing your eyes.
Kkami was not an affectionate dog, often biting or growling at your lover like he was sick of him. Hyunjinâs presence and fussing were a bore, the dog quickly growing tired of his excited nature, even though your boyfriend was the person he loved most in the world.
Thatâs exactly why, youâre taken aback when he sprints off the couch, running a lap around the living room before returning to jump at your feet, barking and licking the hand closest to him excitedly.
Dumbfounded, you bring the phone back to your ear laughing. âWhat did you say to him? Heâs suddenly so happy to see me.â
âHeâs groveling in my stead. I told him to show you how much I miss you.â
Your heart melts, and suddenly heâs all forgiven as tears well up in your eyes. âHyunâŚâ
âActually, I asked him if he wanted a treat.â Your tears get absorbed right back as a laugh bubbles out of the both of you, with Kkami jumping into your lap to beg properly. âI guess he figured I wasnât there to give him some, so now he expects them from you.â
âYou set me up.â You say, voice laced with playfulness as you stand up, scooping Kkami with one hand to fulfill his request. A true glutton, heâd never forgive you if you denied him his beloved snacks.
âMaybe. But my words had the desired effect.â His tone is softer now, and you can hear the smile in his voice. âYouâre laughing.â
Yet, the joy didnât reach its full potential, and never will with hundreds of miles between you. Happiness in its truest form found you in a handful of moments, and for most of them, Hyunjin was right by your side, fueling you with the love and devotion he held for you and you alone. He made you happy like nobody else, helping you see color even on the darkest days. Your beloved loved painting, thatâs what he did, you just never thought he could bring forth his talent and make you see beauty in everything, guiding you to see the world through his eyes that always sparkled like he held the entire galaxy in them.
âBaby.â
Hyunjin gasps so loudly, almost like he is on the verge of bursting with happiness, matching Kkamiâs energy to a T, ready to jump through the phone to feel your love and affection again.
âCan we facetime? I miss your beautiful face.â You add once Kkami is back on his own paws, devouring the stinky treat in your hand as you crouch to his level.
âFacetime? Love, Iâll literally catch the earliest flight and be there in record time! This little screen isnât cutting it anymore, I need to see you with my own eyes before I get so desperate I start walking back just to be in your arms!â
And that is your cue to get on a plane first and finally visit your boyfriend before he keeps his word and ends up at your doorsteps with nothing but a duffle bag and a sob story about how much he missed you to justify his careless actions.

You Gotta Kiss The One
A/n: This isnât my usually writing, so this is more short scenario rather than actual story, so sorry if it isnât my best. Anyways, I was in need of some fluff for the twst men so here we are. (This came out a bit cheesy honestly) Also, unfortunately no Jamil because i went through 7 drafts for his part and hated absolutely all of them.
Pairing: Riddle, Leona, Azul, Vil, Idia, Malleus, Rollo x Reader
Summary: [Fluff] In a turn of events, it seems youâve lost your voice, and itâs up to the one you love to give out the cure, a kiss from their lips to yours.
Warnings: Cheesy Fluff, Reader wasnât meant to be Yuu but theyâre friends with Grim so, 50% Yuu.
Unfortunately, making potions with Grim never goes right. One moment, youâre carefully adding in the newt that assists in projecting a beautiful singing voice to its recipient, and in the next your head gets shoved in the concoction. When you finally emerge, your throat attempts to sound out your criticisms of Grim's recklessness. But, your lips are the only thing that moves in motion, your voice not even croaking out a word.
âWhy ainât yah talkin'?â Your hands quickly grab onto the recipe book pointing at the bold disclaimer at the bottom of the page.
If the potion is consumed before the newt is added, it will have the opposite effects.
Before you can read the rest of the text, your companion snatches the book from your hands, reading the rest of it on his own. When Grim reads out the instructions, your eyes narrow when you hear a slight chuckle escape from him when he tells you your only solutions. Itâs either never talk again or...
Of course, never talking again has its pros, but, if you donât have your voice, however will you tell⌠Him, about your feelingsâŚ? Of course, you could just write your confession, but that doesnât have quite the kick words spoken from your chest doâ
"Uhh... seems you gotta kiss your little crush [Name]!"
âŚ
"What."
Before you're allowed to interject, Grim is already reaching his paw up and taking you by the hand, not even allowing you to tell Crewel about your situation. Youâre quite sure if you had just told him you couldâve avoided the whole dilemma. Alas, Grimâs very eager in bathing in your embarrassment.
âââââ
Riddle is fuming at Grim's carelessness, itâs already bad enough that you have no magic in this faraway land, but to be subjected to a potion that doesnât have a real cure? Thatâs even worse. He most definitely beheads the feline after he hears about the situation, immediately sending him onto a time-off corner, prattling on about how he shouldâve been listening to the rules and acting accordingly in class.
His lecture is cut short at the sound of scribbling, his head turning to look at you furiously writing down on a piece of paper. Your lips are straight-lined as you lift the words to his face.
âGrim said the cure is a kiss.â
Oh⌠his mouth opens to question you more about this so-called cure, though the heart shape you form with your hands, however, is all the information he needs. Itâs unfortunate that it only works if you kiss whoever it is you âloveâ, he couldâve gotten away with kissing you under the guise of helping if it was just anyone who could kiss youâ
Whoâs he kidding his face is close to turning red at such a thought. Of course the cure is something so basic, true love. Ah, no not true love, just simply a crush. Yes, a crush.
A crush that canât be him.
He stays composed externally but internally he canât deny heâs a little disappointed, it doesnât matter however, heâll help you get this kiss from your mystery student, even if it hurts a little to watch. The sound of flipping paper attracts his attention once again.
âSo kiss me. Please.â
⌠What What! What?!
His eyes widen at the words, his mouth agape at the statement, his skin quickly flushing at the thought. You. Him. You and him. Him and you.
Heâs essentially frozen in place. But, the extremely quiet sound of a broken up âokayâ signals to you his permission. The feeling of soft lips being placed on his own snapped him out of his trance. He blinks a few times at your face, a smile invading your mouth.
âThanks Riddle.â
âââââ
Your hands are furiously shaking Leona's shoulders, despite your relentless attempts at awakening him from his slumber, he doesn't even tell you to stop.
He didnât even show any signal of stirring when Grim practically shouts to you about getting that kiss from him to âfix yah upâ. Didnât show any sign when you threw one of his shoes at the cat either.
He might be dead, heâs pretty still, like a corpse⌠Nah, heâs just being a douche.
Carefully, you drop down to his level, your face smooshed into his mattress as you look at his sleeping face. He looks a lot more peaceful in his sleep, his face is less serious and a bit more softer. He does look like a prince from a fairytale when heâs asleep, actually, maybe more of a princess with how pretty he is.
If you had your voice, youâre sure there would be hushed chuckles leaving your throat as you take out your phone. Your fingers are quick to swipe open your camera, lifting the device to Leona's face. Your joy doesnât last long though, as when youâre just about to take a picture, the sight of Leona stares back at you on your screen, the subdued expression he previously held replaced with his usual face.
âWhat do you think youâre doin?â
âŚHeâs awake! Youâre quick to open the notes app, ready to explain the whole thing to him, along with indirectly confessing your feelings, unfortunately. But, he seems to think differently, as your phone is swiftly snatched from your palms and placed on his nightstand. When you reach over to grab it, his arm pulls you back down, your head buried into his chest, essentially being used as a secondary pillow for him.
âThat typingâs loud, iâm tryna sleep.â ⌠and Iâm trying to get my voice back.
No matter how much you struggle, he doesnât let you go. After a few minutes of trying to get your phone back, you give up, becoming his human-sized plushie in your defeat. Maybe heâll be in the mood when heâs awake. So, your eyes gradually shut themself, sleep taking you over as you wrap your arms around the lion next to you.
âŚ
âHey, quit talking in your sleep.â
âHmmâŚ? Oh sorryâ Wait whatâŚ?!â His palm flies of your mouth as words get muffled in his skin.
Appears you missed the Leona Kingscholar, kissing you. Thatâs unfortunate.
âââââ
âHmmâŚ? You need my help yes? Well then just sign here and Iâll get you that kiss you need!â Azul slips the golden contract across the table, the con man smiling as you read through the fine print.
In the corner, you notice the extremely tiny text saying how youâll be obligated to stand by his side for the next month and do whatever tasks he needed to be done from you.
You swiftly slide the paper back to him as your head vigorously shakes a firm âNoâ.
âOh? Do my terms not satisfy you? Your situation sounds very similar to our princess from the Coral Sea, having to kiss her prince for her voice back. I wonder how youâll get that princely kissâŚâ he shrugs his shoulders before sighing, grabbing a stack of papers along with a pen, waving you off before looking at the sales revenue from this week. âNo matter, if you donât need my help please exit, I am a busy manââ
Your hand slams on the surface of his desk, his pupils widening at the sudden outburst. He stays silent for a moment, the glimmer of his glasses covering your view of his eyes. If you had, you wouldâve seen the slightest hint of longing in him.
âA very determined soul you are⌠I'll change your conditions if you want your voice back so bad.â His fingers snap, the old contract disintegrating as a new one forms in his hands. âNo fine print, Iâll help you get your kiss, and you work for the Monstro lounge for 2 weeks. Just 2 weeks. Is that a deal?â You squint, looking to make sure there really is no fine print. When youâre assured there really is none, you take a pen from his gloved palm, writing your signature on the line.
âItâs a deal it seems, now, tell me who it is you have affections for, and Iâll make sure you get that kissâ-âThe sudden pull of his collar stops him mid-sentence, your lips connecting to his own before pulling away.
Heâs extremely flustered, his cheeks blushed, his hat lopsided, eyes the widest you've ever seen them. He did agree to get you that kiss, but⌠he truly wasnât expecting you to kiss himâŚ! Of all possible candidates at the schoolâŚ
âWha⌠Iâm⌠HuhâŚ!?â
You straighten your posture before rolling your sleeves up, âSo when do I start Azul?â
âââââ
Your eyes watch Vil meticulously crush, stir, and drop different ingredients into the cauldron, each one changing the color of the liquid inside. To be honest, youâre a little disappointed he knows a cure, youâll have to wait another time before really confessing to him. His well manicured fingers take the ladle into his hand, carefully pouring the bright drink into a bowl, handing it to you as his eyes await for you to drink it up.
When you do, you set the bowl down, ready to speak, but no sound comes out. Your eyes stare into his, confusion set in your irises.
âI thought you had a dry throat?â Oh, you shake your head, your index finger pointing toward the cauldron and signaling poorly acted-out explosions and screams. âSo it was a failed potion?â You pause for a moment before remembering what unit you were on in class. âIt was that singing potion wasnât it?â He contemplates for a moment before grabbing a small vile on the shelf, a potion the was already premade.
He pops it open, ready to pour it down your throat, but before he does, he pulls it back, quickly replacing the concoction with his extremely soft lips the taste of something good invading your taste buds, you assume it to be his chapstick. He stills for a moment, letting your lips lock and exchange touches. When he releases, he doesnât give you the chance to interject, making you chug the drink down your throat, some of it escaping the corner of your lips, his gloved thumb wiping it off your chin.
âVi⌠VilâŚ? Whyâd you do thatâŚ?â
âHow did Grim tell you to lift it?â He backs away from you, putting the empty glass in the sink.
âHe said I⌠Had to kiss someone I liked. Why?â
âThatâs what he said? Huh, I see.â He takes out his own brand of chapstick, reapplying it to his lips. You stay leant on the shelf of the rooms, watching as Vilâs silhouette moves towards the door. âNo reason. Now, I have to get back to filming. Take better care of your lips, [Name].â Heâs already out the door by the time you work up the courage to say anything else.
As he walks in the hallway, the leather of his gloves clench. It seems Grim did correctly tell you the cure. It doesnât matter though, whether it was his kiss or that potion that worked, all he cared about was getting you fixed. Heâs an actor, heâs keen to notice the presentations of people around him. He was sure you liked him, and even Rook fed into such a delusion. But, there was always a gnawing feeling of not being fair enough to you. So just in case, if you never really did like him, he wonât know.
Heâs a good actor, but even actors canât lie to themself. He really hopes it was his lips that cured you and not that potion.
âŚ
The next day, when Vil finishes applying his makeup, the door to his room is knocked on, albeit very quickly. By the time he finally opens it, nobody is found, only a gift basket filled with fruits and low-grade beauty care, well low grade to him. If his suspicions about who this came from are correct, he canât blame them for not having enough money to afford proper skin care.
When he looks in, all he sees is a card with a small smiley face and a heart. But he already knows who his secret sender truly is.
âââââ
Your knocking on Idias door gets harder and harder with every strike. You know heâs in there, but chances are heâs too absorbed in a game to notice your frantic hits. Youâre about to hit the wood one more time before the door swings open and your fist is only an inch away from his nose.
âI⌠I only heard you just nowâŚâ
Youâve been out there for 10 minutes.
âYou didnât text me beforehand like usual⌠Is⌠Is there something you needâŚ?â He steps to the side allowing you in his room, immediately having you sit on his bed before shutting the entrance. You look around a moment before handing him the note you had pre-written on your phone.
âNo voice. Cure is a kiss from person I like. I like you, Idia. Please kiss me.â
It isnât exactly the confession you wished to give him, but by the time you were typing it, you had deleted so much of the text you originally had from embarrassment, and by the time you looked up, you were already at his door⌠and Ortho was beaming in excitement behind you, you couldnât possibly disappoint him by just walking away again.
He essentially shortcircuits the moment he reads the words off the screen.
He doesnât speak, not even a panicked screech. The only sign of embarrassment he shows you is the sight of his hair turning pink.
âWha⌠Wha⌠WhatâŚ?â
You expected that, so you lifted your finger, signaling him to scroll down.
âYou donât need to like me back, just kiss me and iâll leave.â
âNo no, If we were in like⌠like a game⌠that type of game⌠you would have⌠ughhhâŚ. You would have my⌠affection bar⌠filledâ not filled maybe like 110%⌠upâŚâ he struggled to get the words out he didnât even make eye contact with you once in his speech. But, you understand what heâs trying to say to you. âNevermind, forget itâŚ! Just find someone⌠someone else⌠you deserve like a prince of somethingâŚâ
His posture is hunched over, and heâs quick to turn away from you. Youâre sure if he was closer to the wall he would curl into the corner and attempt to hide from you.
Youâre pretty sure heâs about to do just that, heâs already slowly making his way to the corner. Heâs only narrowly stopped when he feels you tug on his sleeve, pulling his face into your own.
His mouth was slightly open from shock, so his razor sharp teeth poked you, but even then it was still a nice feeling. When you part, he stares at you for an entire minute. His hair was already pink, but somehow it mustâve gotten even pinker.
âYou⌠You won the gameâŚâ
âDid IâŚ? What does that meanâŚ?â
âForget I said that. Iâm gonna die nowâ
âââââ
Itâs been at least half an hour since youâve met up with Malleus, and he seems to not have noticed you donât have a voice to reply. But at the same time, itâs nice listening to him ramble on and on about his Gargoyle studiesâ
âYou have not spoken.â Your head is quick to turn, your body slightly jolting at the sight of Malleusâs face mere inches away from your own. Sometimes, you forget he doesnât have any sense of space. This point is further proven when he moves his face away but your shoulders are still in contact. âWhy is that?â
Your hand reaches down to your side attempting to take out your phone, but, it only grasps air. You look back down into your pocket, not noticing any holes for it to fall out of.
What? Did⌠Did I loose it or something?!
âThis thingâŚâ your head flips back to the man in front of you, his gloved fingers turning the phone with narrowed eyes. âI donât understand, why not just talk to me? Would you rather use this phone than converse with meâŚ?â You can spot early signs of Malleusâs emotional turmoils. It doesnât take long for you to see the hint of disappointment in his eyes at the mere notion of you not even wanting to talk to him.
Along with that, clouds are beggining to form in the sky
You immediately shake your head at him, your fingers pointing to your throat while forming an x. Though your movements are so quick from the sheer panic of lightning striking, he doesnât understand what youâre doing until you slow down.
âAh, you did talk about that potion unit didnât you.â You nod your head, ready to perform a collection of poorly acted-out charades to showcase your cure. You only got as far as the heart in your hands before he interrupts. âIf I remember correctly, the fix to that is a kiss from the one who holds your affections⌠is it not?â The boom of thunder increases at an incredible rate, and even the pout Malleus holds on his face gets more obvious. âHave you come here to ask for my aide?â You can tell, itâs very obvious heâs trying to hide his dispiritedness beside a veneer of support. âThen⌠I will help a dear⌠friend.â
At his words, you shake your head the hardest youâve probably ever shaken it to disagree with someone. Youâre sure you mustâve swayed your brain too hard, by the time you stop you honestly feel a little dizzy.
âAh, do you not want my help?â The lightning in the air starts fading, but in exchange, itâs like the clouds have gotten darker. âAm I, not allowed the see the object of your desire?â You wish you just had your phone out from the beginning, it wouldâve made things so much easier. You bring your arm up, pointing at him.
Malleus is smart, he needs it if he will be Briar Valleyâs ruler. Yet, heâs a bit dense in terms of human emotions and relationships.
âI thought you didnât want my helpâŚ?â Youâre sure if you could make any sound, pure screams of frustration wouldâve left you. âIâm left in confusion as to how it is I can help you. I want to assist you Child of man but, I donât wish to see you kiss anyone elseââYour hands immediately take him by the tie, dragging him into you as your lips practically smash together. If anyone saw you, such a scene would be quite the scandal for the heir. Minutes go by when you finally release him, and when you look up, the sky is the clearest it's been for the past month. âSo it was me.â The look in his eyes is fond, itâs a warm sight.
âYeah, I canât believe you didnât notice sooner, I didnât hide itâŚâ
âYou didnât?â
âI confessed to you twice before this MalleusâŚâ
âââââ
(This is self indulgent cuz iâm unfortunately a Rollo fanâŚ)
Considering how far away Noble Bell is from Night Raven, you have no doubt youâd be stuck voiceless for quite awhile before you get to see Rollo again. Grim is just left to watch you sulk as your head falls in disappointment. You honestly donât know how to tell Rollo about your situation either, you could always text him, but how do you even tell him you need to kiss him as your cure? Along with that⌠over text? Thatâs just pathetic. Heâd probably shame you for being so ungraceful with your feeling towards him.
âQuit moppinâ and tell him already! Iâm gettin' depressed just watchinâ yaâŚâ with your head buried into your arms you can feel Grim practically shaking you out of your ball of shame with his tiny paws. âCome⌠onâŚ! Youâre not gonna get your voice back doin' nothinâ!â Heâs⌠unfortunately, completely correct.
With a soundless groan, you reach for your phone and open your contacts, drafting the text youâll send to Rollo.
Rollo, I need to tell you something⌠your fingers continuing to vigorously type your paragraph.
Three knocks disperse your attention.
â[Name] are you there?â The familiar voice immediately strikes panic in your body as you accidentally throw your phone into the air, pathetically catching it as you stumble towards the door with a loud thud. On the other side, the door can be seen harshly shaking at an impact from within the room, Rollo glancing to each side of him in confusion. âAre you okay?â The lack of a reply makes worry bubble inside of him.
Before heâs given the chance to open the entrance himself, the door swings inward, allowing him to peak in through the crevice. He looks inside with initial confusion before hurriedly shuffling towards the room, the sight of your body on the floor making him even more puzzled with every passing second.
He lifts your upper body, having you sit face to face with him in such close proximity. Your eyes are dazed, looking directly into his eyes before looking around as if you didnât even notice this was the genuine Rollo Flamme and not just a product of your imagination.
Damn you Grim⌠Leaving me as soon as you opened the doorâŚ
âYour room⌠is very disorderly [Name].â I was on the floor and youâre focused on how messy my room is? âI did tell you about how messy it was last time I was here too didnât I?â I get it, Iâm messy, so stop rubbing it in⌠A moment of silence passes before he quirks up an eyebrow, suspicions of his growing by the minute. âNo witty comeback this time? Have you finally decided to start listening to me?â Your lack of reply Honestly worries him. Your eyes take a glance at your phone, making his tired face look over as well.
When he moves to grab it, he pauses his hand frozen in place. Your text is still displayed on your screen, as well as the current predicament you find yourself in. Realization hits you in waves as you quickly crawl over to snatch your phone from his palm. When you tried, his hand moves away in time to avoid your reach.
âItâs quite distasteful to admit such a thing through text.â I knew it⌠your head leans down, once more, in defeat. But, that's quickly changed when his nimble fingers take your face and lead them to his own. Honestly, it felt as if it lasted for eternity when in reality, the exchange only lasted for a couple of seconds. It was as if, Rollo finally felt the need to indulge himself in a little sin, only a little. When you finally separate, you're both left on the floor of your room, awkwardly glancing at the material.
âSo⌠whyâd you come here, Rollo? I thought after everything that happened at Fleur City you wouldnât wanna come here againâŚâ
âI do. I still donât wanna be here.â
âThen why are youââ
âThereâs a holiday at Noble Bell, we have a day off. I came to spend it with you.â
A/n: If anyone has like, any thoughts for the twst characters pls share them!! I may not be doing requests right now but I might write something short of you send in an ask!! Honestly, I just really enjoy when people ramble in my inbox. Also, Iâm not too familar with writing Idia and Leona so iâm sorry if they werenât written good!

Succubus Ellie x fem! reader
Content / warnings: 18+ content, succubus Ellie, virgin (kind of a loser) reader, Ellie is super shady and you're horny & oblivious, corruption kink, oral sex (r! receiving), fingering (r! receiving), spit play, strength kink, Ellie gets increasingly more aggressive/stronger, biting (and some blood), nipple stimulation, mentions of stretch marks on reader's thighs bc I personally love them
Word count: 2.3k
You're a lesbian in a small religious town, and all you've got going for you is reading and your own apartment. It's not your fault that you get desperate enough to check out a book on demonology, summon a literal succubus, and sign a contract stating that you belong to said succubus.
Libraries have about every book you can think of.
Some may not have the most interesting options, but upon searching enough, you can truly find anything. You love reading. You love scanning over the ink-littered pages for hours until your brain is fried from trying to make sense of a complex plot. You get off on reading Mary Shelleyâs Frankenstein because pretty words just do it for you. There is something about losing yourself in Edgar Allen Poeâs poetry that makes your blood hot. You know itâs fucked up, and yet you have no shame searching throughout your small townâs local library for something new.
Perhaps itâs just growing up in an isolated town that makes you find entertainment in the concept of everything all at onceâliterature truly has it all. There is no limit to what an author can write onto an unlimited amount of pages. Youâd rather stay underneath your blanket with a flashlight at four in the morning than actually socialize (unless itâs on reddit, like a freak). Sometimes, you do get lonely though. Books donât satiate your physical needs, and no amount of masturbation with a vibrator from an adult store a few towns over will truly make you cum like a woman could. You know that, but do nothing about it. You downloaded a dating app only to delete it when you had to set your profile picture.Â
That is exactly why you find yourself in the occult section of your lovely local library scanning through books to find one about demons. Unsurprisingly for a library in the middle of a religious town, there are little to no books on the subject. Just one. Demons and Demonology.
Youâre lonely, remember? Summoning a succubus is a low blow even for you, though. You donât meet the librarianâs judgemental gaze, and you rush home to your humble apartment to hopefully read all about demonology, specifically the sexual kind. Little do you know what is in store for you.
Succubus are romanticized in the media; pretty women who seduce humans and sexually drain them. That sounds appealing to many who can imagine someone sleeping with them so willingly, something that you fall victim to simply because youâre lonely. That is exactly what demons prey on, though. People who are lonely and vulnerable. But did you ever really think that a malicious soul could give you one night of pleasure and stop there?Â
You light the candles in just a cute, lacy tank top and a pair of white cotton panties. Your feet are cold, so you do have these little patterned, fuzzy socks on. You look desperate, but why would you need pants? A succubus wants to fuck you. You definitely donât want to be wearing any pants for that.Â
And before your very eyes is a woman you will grow to wish you never summoned.Â
Dark, auburn hair with sneaky strays that you wish to tuck behind her ears as she fucks you. Youâd like to tug on that hair or grasp at it with her lips tending to your clit. Your thoughts are flooded and you canât even categorize each filthy need upon each beautiful feature your eyes are granted. Your lust is beyond repair.
Your brain should realize that all of the feelings you cling to involving this girl are persuaded by simple vulnerability and need. Her appearance isnât humanlike. She is a demon, and she has resources to lure you in. You should be realizing how unsafe you are with this girl, not hoping that she will fill you until sunrise. You donât realize, though. Instead, you find yourself looking up at her as she stands in front of where you sit on your bed.Â
âYou summoned me, huh?â Her eyes are unbelievably green, vivid in different shades that make you want to squint.Â
âWell, yes.â
Such a simple answer, but she appreciates that you are getting straight to the point. Some girls waste her time with nerves and stuttering, but you know exactly what you want. She almost feels sorry for you.
The succubus seems to know where your drawer with your journal is already. She rips out a page and grabs one of your black ink pens, throwing it precisely onto your lap.Â
âSign yourself to me.âÂ
You look up at her quickly, brows slightly furrowed in confusion. The demon sighs, impatient.
âDonât you know how this works? You have to write it out. You write out your full name, mine, and that you give yourself to me. Otherwise, I canât touch you.â
In all honesty, Ellie is a little nervous that youâll back out. You seem like a smart girl. Maybe youâll realize that signing yourself up for âgiving yourselfâ to a demon is simply foolish. She finds herself feeling something akin to disappointment when you scribble down your name.Â
âMy nameâs Ellie. Write it down somewhere, it doesnât matter where. All I need is our names, and something that states that youâre mine.âÂ
Ellie. You write that down.
Once you dot that final period, Ellie is done with the whole patient act. She grabs your sock-clad ankles with rough hands, pulling you to lay down with your ass just off the bed. You squeal in surprise, but she pays no mind. She hasnât had a virgin in a long damn time, and she is starving to make you cum for her.Â
Her hips part your legs and she leans down to press hungry, sloppy kisses onto your pulse. You feel like youâre about to explode with need, pressure within you building, but with no stimulation. Nobody has ever touched you like this. Youâve never felt a personâs tongue swirl over your collarbone, or youâd realize that this feeling of pure need isnât in the amount that a human should even be able to feel.
âI need you.â You plead with her, fingers pulling at strands of short hair. This seems to encourage her in ways you didnât expect, because Ellie is already kneading your tits through fabric, fingertips rolling stiffening nipples with ease.
âTell me what you want most.â She buries her face into your sternum, hands making haste of pulling the flimsy tank top over your body.Â
âI want you to touch me.âÂ
Ellie grabs your face, hands unfortunately leaving your tits. âNuh-uh, none of that vague bullshit. Tell me exactly where. How. I need to know.â There is an aggression in her voice that makes your heart drop and your clit throb.
You trail your hand down to the soft fabric of your panties and Ellie doesnât care that you skimp out on actually telling her. She only peels them down to your ankles and tosses them carelessly. Before you can even beg for her touch, she grabs your hips and throws you into the middle of your bed in a flash. Your head is spinning from the action, the logical part trying to make sense of how she could pick you up and toss you so quickly like you weigh nothing to her.
Before you can register her next actions, her tongue is tracing foreign patterns onto your thighs and her hands are forcing your legs wide.Â
âSay you want me to fuck you and ruin you.â Sharp teeth sink into your left inner thigh, branding you.Â
âI want you to fuck me, please.â Your voice is breathless, your hips are shifting with impatience and need.
âAnd you want me to ruin you? Ruin this pussy for anyone but me?â
You let out a whorish whine at her words, a sound you want to be embarrassed about, but your brain canât grasp the idea of protecting your dignity.Â
âSo fucking needy, Iâm about to have the time of my life taking you apart.â She snorts at the way you try to pull her mouth down onto your sex, but to no avail. She wants you at your most needy so that she can milk every drop of pleasure from your body until youâre a panting, sweaty, and fucked out mess.
It feels like forever since she has been between your thighs, tongue swirling over stretch marks and fingers digging into the fat of your thighs.Â
âPlease, I canât take it anymore. I need you to fuck me.â Youâre a mess beneath her, desperately trying to lift your hips enough to feel her tongue swipe over your clit. Instead, all you get is her warm breath over your aching pussy. Youâve been begging relentlessly, and you canât tell if itâs working or not.Â
Until you feel her spit drip from the hood of your clit, further down to your perineum. You gasp at the sudden warmth, and your legs squirm within the hold her hands have on them. Youâve been soaked for a while now, but it seems that Ellie thinks that your pussy wasnât wet enough.Â
You canât even get out another round of begging before you feel her wet tongue slide up between your pussy lips and dig into your clit. You jolt and pull her head down, wanting to feel completely connected. You want her mouth onto you without any separation after so much teasing.Â
The more pleasure flows through you that Ellie causes, the stronger her hold on you gets. You donât seem to think much of it within your horny haze, but her nails grow sharper than your soft skin would like them to be, and her hold is more firm and decreasingly human-like, but the way she just eats you up makes you forget it all. It doesnât matter now, you already signed yourself off to this.Â
She is a succubus. You canât be surprised when she moans like a goddess when you feel a particular jolt of pleasure in your body or when your free hand grasps your bedsheets for support. Itâs a dangerous kind of perfection; even when you donât physically show that her lips suckling onto your clip makes your vision blurry, she somehow knows and spreads you further.
Youâve never felt like this before. Youâve finger your own pussy and used vibrators in the past, but this is otherworldly. You wonder how you could ever live without this. You know that after youâre all fucked and spent, every bit of your need satiated, that you will never be able to have sex with a regular person. That should scare you enough to beg and cry for her to rip up the contract and leave, but there is a knot in your stomach that needs to snap in half. Ellie scratches every inch inside you, knows where you need her. When you crave her tongue deep inside your pussy, her taste buds are suddenly printed onto your inner walls, curling up into your sweet spot. When her mouth isnât on your clit, her nose steadily fucks it. As if you need any of that to simply cum, though. Just grinding your pussy against her face in such a shameful manner as youâre doing now could be enough. That isnât how this works, though. She needs you feeling the best.
You feel her middle finger part your folds and slip into your hole, and the feeling of anotherâs fingers inside of you besides your own for the first time is an experience that you simply will never be able to forget. She reaches places inside of you that you didnât know about whilst flicking her tongue over your clit at a steady pace. You soon feel another finger inside you, and you realize how truly deep her digits can reach. How nicely they can stretch you, make you feel all full and warm.Â
Her tongue pulls away from your clit, her thumb replacing it. The view above you makes you wonder how youâve lasted this long. She leaves bites all along your navel while fucking you into a whining mess.Â
âFuck, youâre just so tight for me. Pussy needed to be ruined, didnât it? You needed this.â She sounds breathless, and you canât even dwell on it because suddenly her teeth, which are noticeably sharper than before, are sinking into your hip. You cry out, and she soothes you with her tongue as it laps up some blood that trickled out of the bite.Â
Her fingers make your pussy squelch as they drill in and out of you and curl deep within your insides. You feel tears form in the corners of your eyes from the pure, unfiltered pleasure she sends through your body.Â
âCâmon, baby. I need you to cum. Give it to me.â
When her mouth trails up to suck on one of your nipples, swirling over the soft bud like she did your clit, you cum hard.Â
There are no words to describe the way a demon can drain your body. It should be labeled horrific, not in a goreish way or in a truly depraved sense, but instead, in a way that leaves you truly ruined. Youâre hers, now. Not that she plans on fucking you again, unless you really leave a good mark on her. The feelings that flow through you and transfer over to her are ones youâll never be able to replicate again. No amount of one-night stands or kink-finding will lead you back to this orgasm. No book can make you feel hooked again, not after the feeling of her nails digging into your skin. Itâs almost sad that your first time will actually fuck you up like this. If Ellie is able to feel any sort of guilt for you, sheâll find herself back in your bed. She can do that now. You signed yourself over to her, whenever she wants you. Youâll never find it in you to hate it, either. Youâll crave her so much that anytime she comes back to take care of you and feed off of your need, you will be begging on your knees for just one more orgasm from her.Â
For now, you simply lay limp in your bed, body aching and covered in marks from someone who isnât even human. The bites on you wonât leave your body, and youâll be lucky if the hickeys fade. You can only hope that she will visit you again soon and give you what you need.

His nerves were tingling with anxiety. He had imagined a day like this since he laid eyes on her.
His crush first stemmed from middle school. Then it followed him through high school, and now his college career.
Y/n had always been the typical token super pretty and popular girl. She was funny too, he couldnât help but giggle to himself when she was making jokes with her friends across the room.
Jungkook was beyond nervous. Heâs had a crush on her forever, and now he was standing in front of her home for their very first tutoring session.
Jungkook had arrived at Y/nâs home, exhaling to himself. âI can do this.â He mumbled before knocking on her door.
The door opened and there she was. A short denim mini skirt and a matching top.
He was already done for.
âOh hey Jungkook.â She smiled, âYouâre here already. I didnât think youâd be early. Come in.â
He feels his heart skip a beat as Y/n opens the door, a genuine smile spreading across his face.
âH-hi! Yes, it's meâ He clears his throat. âThank you for inviting me inside.â He steps inside, taking in the sight of her apartment.
âOf course.â She led him to the dining room table her hips swaying in her mini skirt that showed off her figure beautifully.
His eyes widen and follow her every move, watching as she leads him to the dining room table.
He can't help but feel a rush of excitement as he takes in the sight of her hips swaying in her skirt.
He had never imagined theyâd be in such a small space. Alone with her. His heart could almost explode with excitement.
Her home didnât look much like the google maps photos like he seen online.
âIs right here okay?â She asked him, her table with the notebooks and studying material she needed already set up.
He swallows hard and nods, feeling his cheeks heat up. âI-Itâs fine.â
The two sat at her table studying, Jungkook using more complex language than she was used to.
She could grasp some of it, but Y/n wasnât necessarily the strongest in the subject.
âIâve always sucked at math. Let alone calculus.â She laughed. âIt must be nice to know everything.â
He chuckles nervously, shaking his head. âNo, not everything. Just... some things. Math is definitely my strong suit.â He takes a deep breath, gathering his composure before turning his attention to her math homework âOkay, let's continue.â
She simply nodded. She leaned closer to him, reading the book that was further in his direction.
Her breasts were huge. He wondered how her posture managed to stay so straight with those jugs weighing her down.
Her right breast was pressed against his shoulder, driving him crazy.
He tries to focus on the homework, but finds himself distracted by her low cut top and her large breasts on view.
He can't help but glance, feeling his face flush with embarrassment as he realizes she might notice. âUh, so... uh...â
âAre you okay?â Y/n asked him.
âYes.â He cleared his throat.
âAre you sure?â
âYes, yes I'm fine. It's just... uh... hot in here.â He tries to refocus on her homework assignment, but his mind keeps drifting to her body and how close she's standing next to him.
âIâll go turn the ac onâ She got up, hips swaying as she went to turn on the AC. She eventually came back. âBetter?â She sat back down.
âSomeone kill me.â Jungkook thought to himself.
He tries to focus on the books and studying material, but his gaze keeps drifting back to her exposed thighs and the way her skirt rides up
He nods, grateful for the cooler air. He watches as she sits back down next to him, hips swaying in a way that makes his heart race.
âThis is so hardâ She groaned. âCalculus is so difficult.â
He nods in agreement, trying to stifle a smile at her cute groan. âYeah, uh... It can be tough sometimes.â
He starts going over the problem with her, letting his hand rest on hers gently as he points out what she did wrong.
âI think itâs the table.â She tells him. âI focus more on my bed, itâs where Iâm most comfortable. Jungkook, would you be okay studying there with me?â Y/n suggested.
His heart races at the thought of having her in a more private setting, but he knows he shouldn't let his crush get the best of him.
He nods and starts gathering the homework assignments and books. âYeahâ sure, let's move to the couch.â
She smirked to herself on the way to her bedroom. Her plan was working perfectly, and working quicker than she expected.
His eyes widened at her room. He was finally inside. He always seen a few corners when he was stalking her Instagram late at night, but now being there in person sent him over the edge.
It was so her. The decorations, the layout, the scent. It was perfectly her.
âMuch betterâ She sat down on her bed, starting to write in her notes with him.
He watches as she writes, trying not to get too distracted by the way her hair falls over her shoulders and the way she bites her lip in concentration.
He clears his throat and starts going over the problems again, trying to focus on the homework instead of his crush.
About an hour had passed of them studying, and she was beyond bored. Y/n was over hearing about stupid questions she had no interest in finding the solution for.
âLike I said, when you plug in the formulaââ
âDonât you have a girlfriend waiting on you?â Y/n interrupted him. âYouâve been here for a while.â
âI-I donât have one.â He swallowed. âAnd I told the professor Iâd spend as much time as needed for you to pass.â
He was still talking about school, making her boredom increase. âDo you do anything outside of school?â She changed the topic.
He blinks at her, surprised by the sudden question. He fidgets with his glasses and stammers a bit before answering. âI...I go to the internet cafe with my friends and do coding and stuff.. I help code games and such. It's...it's not very exciting, but it keeps me busy.â
âCute.â She chuckled. âSo youâre like a full time nerd?â
He blushes at her teasing and nods, looking down at his hands. âY-yes, I suppose you could say that. I do enjoy learning and electronics...and working on computers gives me a chance to use my skills to help others. It's...it's important to me.â
âIs that why youâre single?â She asked him. âToo busy studying and programming?â
He nodded.
Wasnât necessarily the entire truth. Some of the other girls at the cafe definitely took an interest but he was all about you.
He was a quiet guy but he always spoke up about you. All of his friends at the internet cafe knew about his crush on you. He would be teased daily because well, look at him and you.
He didnât care. He knew from the start it wasnât realistic considering the crowds you stuck around with.
Jungkook would rather be at home with his computer while youâd be parting with sororities and frat boys.
âYouâre a busy guy hm? Well when was the last time youâve had a girlfriend?â Y/n asked him, moving the text books as she inched closer.
âI-Iâ Well.â He swallowed, âIâve never had one before..â He itched the back of his neck.
Her eyes widened. âYou canât be serious.â
âIt justâ never happened.â He told her.
âThatâs just so hard to believe.â She analyzed him with her feline like eyes.. âI think youâre really handsome and cute.â
âReally?â His voice came out a lot louder than he meant to, clearing his throat. âY-You do?â
She nodded, âI always have.â She suddenly climbed on his lap, making Jungkook let out a slight gasp in surprise.
He looks up at her in surprise, his heart beating faster at her words. He stammers out a thank you, feeling his face heat up again. âI...I'm...I'm glad you think so...â
âItâs okay if I sit here right?â She asked, making him nod rather quickly.
âGood.â She giggled. âSo youâve never had a girlfriend⌠you at least have lost your virginity right?â
Jungkook looked away shyly. âN-No..â
She had always had the reputation of being the popular pretty girl. Her entire friend group and social circle was like that. So naturally it was expected for her to end up with a frat guy.
Y/n had been with a few, and was absolutely bored out of her mind. They were cocky and disgusting, seeming to like their bros more than actual women.
She had no interest in anyone like that.
She always had a thing for nerdy and loser men who looked like they had never had a chance with losing their virginity.
Her friends were always teasing her about her type. No one could understand how she could really be attracted to a guy like that.
Y/n noticed Jungkook towards her sophomore year of high school. He had always been attractive to her but she really took a notice to him at that time.
He was tall, handsome, and quiet. Super shy. The only time she had seen him really talk was during a history presentation when he had to read off some slides.
Her horny teenage brain definitely took notice towards the bulge in his pants whenever she looked his way.
Y/n was always with her friend group and Jungkook was always in way better and smarter classes than her. He never had any social media either, so she never had the chance to really make a move on him.
It was now their junior year in college and once she heard he was assigned to be her tutor, she had to do something.
Jungkook had hardly ever kissed a girl. A girl pecked his lips in his junior year of high school and he absolutely hated it.
Hated it because it wasnât her.
She shifts on his lap. âThatâs so cute. Are you waiting for someone to take it?â
He nodded quickly. He was hard as a rock. Her skirt was practically all the way lifted as she sat on his lap, driving him insane.
âMm Iâd be honored to volunteer.â She suggested.
âT-Take itâ P-please.â He was practically whimpering out to her.
She didnât waste her time, leaning forward to kiss his lips. She wasnât too rough on him, but she definitely was working her lips on his.
âGonna make you feel real good.â She smacked her lips against his, grabbing his hands, placing them over her ass cheeks. âGrab it okay?â
Jungkook bent his fingers, now holding her ass in his hands.
She traveled her lips down to the crook of his neck, creating a trail of dark hickeys.
Y/n was grinding on his lap with her skirt on as she marked up his neck. âNo hickeys before either?â
There was no way this was really happening. Jungkook could go into shock. This was even better than he had ever imagined.
His breathing becomes heavier and heavier as she grinds on his lap, feeling the friction between their bodies.
He moans as she marks up his neck, his mind clouded with pleasure. He whimpers as she asks about hickeys, shaking his head slightly. âN-no...â
âYouâre so much more vocal than I imagined. and Iâm just kissing you.â She giggled.
He blushes profusely as she speaks about his vocalness, feeling embarrassed at how turned on he is by her touch.
He looks up at her as she pulls away from his neck, seeing the marks she left on his skin.
âSo cute..â She pulled away from his neck. âAll marked up, it looks intense.â She grabbed her handheld mirror, showing him what she did to him.
He gulps, reaching up to touch them gently. seeing the marks she left on his skin. He gulps, reaching up to touch them gently.
âYouâre comfy right baby?â She asked him, making sure he was at ease while she tainted him.
âI-Iâm fine.â He shakes his head, leaning into her touch as she runs her fingers through his hair. âN-no... it just... makes me want more... of you...â He confesses, feeling vulnerable and honest in front of her.
âYouâre more than ready to lose your virginity huh baby?â She baby talked him. âPoor baby wants to be touched so bad.â
He blushes deeply at her words, nodding slowly. He's been a virgin for so long and he wants nothing more than to experience it with her.
âY-yes...â He stammers, his voice barely above a whisper. I want to... be with you...â
âIâm almost there sweetheart. Youâre doing so good being patient for me.â She comforted, seeing how whiny and desperate he was. It didnât help that he was incredibly hard under her.
Her praises were driving him insane and she hadnât even took his pants off yet. âWhaâ What now?â He asks softly, hoping he doesn't sound too desperate.
She was practically drooling over the sight of him. His dick had been teasing her for centuries through his jeans, and she finally had it at her disposal.
He lets out a involuntary gasp as she unzips his pants and pulls out his dick. He blushes as she compliments him on his size. He never thought anyone would say that about him. âI-it's not that big...â
âYouâre so humble.â She smirked. âI donât even think Iâll be able to fit it inside me or my mouth.â She chuckled. âLet me know if itâs too much. Mm gonna sit on it first okay? Donât have a condom so youâre going to have to pull out when you feel it okay?â
He nodded eagerly. âI-Iâll try my best.â
âThatâs all I can ask of you.â She latched her lips onto his lips once more before sliding herself onto him, making their lips disconnect from their moans.
He was a mess from the start. Her pussy was so tight and wet, driving him insane.
He had always imagined what it would feel like but this was even better.
âO-Oh wow.â He whined, âF-Feels so t-tightâ
Y/n bounced on him slowly, allowing him to feel all of her.
âItâs good huh baby?â Y/n cooed. âYouâre so big babyâ
âMmphâ itâs so wetââ He whimpered.
He lets out a gasp, his hands instinctively reaching out to grab onto her hips for support. "F-fuck!"
She was moving her hips in a rhythmic motion that sent waves of pleasure coursing through his entire body. He moans softly, biting his lip to keep from making too much noise.
Y/n took a notice of his actions. âDonât want you being quiet. Iâve waited so long to have you like this.â She stopped moving on top of him.
Jungkook's eyes snap open as Y/n stops moving, his cock throbbing with need and frustration at the sudden lack of stimulation.
He looks up at her with a desperate expression, pleading for her to continue with his actions. "P-please..."
She grabbed his neck subtly, not enough to really hurt him. She turned his chin to the side, âCovered you in so many hickeys, all for you to be quiet now?â
Jungkook's heart races as Y/n grabs his neck, a small whimper escaping his lips at the touch. He looks at her with a mixture of surprise and arousal, his mind racing at the sudden change in her demeanor. "I-I'm sorry...â
âWhatâre you going to do differently if I keep moving?â She growled into his ear. âTell me. Use that pretty mouth.â
Jungkook's breath hitches as Y/n growls in his ear, his heart pounding in his chest. He swallows hard, trying to find the words to answer her question. "I-I'll... I'll make more noise...â
âGood boyâŚâ She began moving again, âMmâ feels so goodâ Y/n moaned into his ear.
Jungkook's eyes roll back in pleasure as Y/n begins moving again, her moans in his ear sending chills down his spine.
He grips the sheets beneath him tightly, his body trembling with need as she bouncing on him. "F-fuck...Iâ never imagined p-pussy would be this goodâ
His desperate pleas sent her over the edge. She loved how he was so whiny and desperate all for her.
âNever baby?â She hummed, her voice sensually whispering against his ear.
Jungkook lets out a low groan as Y/nâs words register in his head, his mind filled with filthy thoughts. He nods his head, unable to find the words to speak. "N-no... I never thought... f-fuck..."
He was absolutely pussydrunk, the feeling of his cock being sunk into her pussy made him go insane.
If he was already obsessed with her before, he knew he was absolutely fucked now. âI-I m-might⌠mmghâŚâ
She knew how lost he was in her pussy, knowing he was close to cumming at any second.
She quickly got up off his cock, making him whimper at the sudden separation.
âCanât have you cum inside baby.â She hushed him, knowing he was about to complain.
âI-I want to cum so badâ Please let meâ He whined.
âYouâre gonna cum baby. I wouldnât do that to you.â She made her way off his lap.
She got in between his legs and on her knees. âGonna suck you off pretty boy.â
She had no problem sucking him off after he was just inside of her. She opened her mouth, licking his tip to test the waters.
He can't help but moan as she licks his tip. He doesn't know what came over him, he bites his lip as she starts bobbing her head up and down on him.
He lets out a deep moan as she takes him all in. He's never felt anything like this before. He tries to hold back, but he can feel himself already getting close. He whined, warning her that he's about to cum.
She let him cum all in her mouth, not dare wasting a single drop as she swallowed.
He couldnât believe what just happened. He's cumming in her mouth and she's swallowing every drop. He's never felt so satisfied in his life. He pulls out and pants. âThank you... that was amazing.â
He was so infatuated with her. He had been beating his dick for years, whining and whimpering in his bedroom at merely the idea of his dick being sucked by her.
He blushes and stutters, trying to find the words. He can't believe what just happened.
âY-you.. it was... amazing. I don't know what to say. Thank you.â He turns to face her, his eyes filled with gratitude as he repeated his thanks.
The two hung out for a bit longer, actually getting her tutoring done. She giggled. âiâll see you at school tomorrow.â She waved as they bid their goodbyes.
He smiles and nods, still in shock about what happened. âY-yeah, see you then.â He watches her shut the door, his heart racing with excitement. He can't believe she just sucked his dick, took his virginity, and then he was back to tutoring her.
His dreams finally came true.
ŕźâ
The next day she was walking with her friends, and seemed to pass Jungkookâs friends group. She could hear Jungkookâs friends teasing him.
âBro you have a hickey?!â They stared at his neck in amazement, adjusting their glasses to look closely.
Like stated, they were nobodies. All of them. Never had any interactions with women in their lives.
Jungkook covers his neck with his hand, trying to hide the hickey. He didn't realize it was so obvious, but he's glad he got it. He can't stop thinking about last night and her. âSh-shut up gu-guys!â
His face turns bright red, shushing them and trying to avoid any more attention. âF-Fuck this is embarrassing.â He can't help but think about her again and the amazing time they had last night. He's already looking forward to seeing her again and continuing their tutoring sessions.
Y/nâs friends looked over at the boys. âWhat do you think thatâs all about?â They asked amongst themselves.
âWhy does it matter? Probably just some boring video game release. Or maybe a new textbook was added to the library!â One of the girls laughed.
Y/n couldnât help but chuckle to herself, knowing damn well there would be more where that came from.

Silent treatment
info: pretty self-explanatory I think. Law and reader have a pre-established relationship. I believe I'll soon post a version of Zoro too (it was supposed to be today, but I don't really believe in my ability to review more than one content per day)
pairing: Law x reader
Crossing my fingers and promising to stop writing only about Law
It was nothing new, far from it.
When you started living with Law years ago, you knew that he could occasionally be a little cold. Of course, within the crew itself, during the many days and nights spent underwater, he became a more communicative and accessible person - but sometimes not. That didn't bother you, not at all. At least not until the relationship between subordinate and captain turned into a relationship between two lovers.
He wasn't the clingiest person in the world, and neither were you, but he was still present. Stolen touches during the day, you leaning against his body while you drank with others. All of this was almost trivial to those who saw it and for you, everything was fine. The relationship between the two of you was constantly improving, except for one small fact: communication.
Now, the periods when Law was absent seemed to bother you even more than before and even with some indirect messages from you, he didn't seem to understand (or at least didn't care).
"Law, did you see that book I lent you?" You entered his small office. The brunette was buried in his own notes, lost enough in them to not look in your direction.
"I don't remember, love. Maybe on the bedside table?" He mumbled, distracted.
"No." You limited yourself to answering, hoping that maybe he would give you more hints. "Law!?"
"Hm?"
"Forget it."
You tried not to sound angry. That wasn't even the best word to describe your situation, maybe frustrated would work better.
When you returned to your room, you began to list the pros and cons of all this. Of course, the list of pros was immensely longer when it came to Law, but these lapses of attention still bothered you. An unhealthy idea crossed your mind.
First, you rethought everything you did and excluded part of the things you shared - lunch hours together, possible visits to him during the afternoon and anything else that could make you give in. Now all you had to do was avoid opening your mouth when you were in the same room and wait to see if you would succeed.
The first thing Law noticed was your disappearance. Okay, you were definitely mad that he had lost one of your books, and you were absolutely right. Maybe the fact that you hadn't gone to visit him was because you had found the book and were immersed in reading it.
The second thing was your absence during dinner, and that set off a red alert in his mind. Your absence wasn't physical, which only made the man's situation worse. Before he sat down at the table, your voice echoed about some subject he couldn't quite make out. All he had to do was show up and for the rest of the hour he stayed there, he only heard the sound of the cutlery against your plate.
The third thing was your absence from his bed. Okay, you didn't sleep together every night, but at least you took a few minutes for yourselves before going to sleep, even if it was just to cuddle for a bit. Tired of turning over in bed, dazed by the discomfort, he hurriedly walked to the door of your shared room with the only other female companion, who was the one who answered him.
"Hello, captain!" Ikkaku's mood was suspicious to him, but Law could wait to understand that later. "I think the one you're looking for is a little busy." She opened the door a crack, revealing your sleeping figure.
"Has she been here for a while?"
"Yes, sir. What happened, trouble in paradise?"
"Nothing much." He tried to avoid the subject with a weak smile. "Have a good night."
From then on, it was six days. Six days of pure torture for the captain of the heart pirates. You had entered radio silence mode. Every "good morning" or "can we talk?" was ignored. Law even tried to bring up one of your favorite singers and saw you remain silent. He couldn't understand why. He was going to go crazy, that was the only certainty he had at that moment.
The seventh day was the limit. Dark circles were forming on his face - and he could clearly see them on your face. His mood was unbearable, in addition to the atmosphere between everyone when you were present. Everyone already knew that there was indeed trouble in paradise.
You and Ikkaku were packing up the clean clothes that had arrived when you didn't notice him signaling to your partner to leave you alone.
"I think these clothes are enough for me to take. What do you think?" Your shock was evident when you saw your boyfriend there. Instead of answering, you turned your back and went back to rummaging through a small bag, putting the folded clothes in it.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Law's defeated tone of voice broke your heart, but you still tried to resist a little. "You're not leaving, are you? I know I messed up by losing your things, but please, please let's talk."
"That's the problem, Law." Even though your tone wasn't the most gentle of all, the man was washed with relief upon hearing your voice. "You don't
talk to me, don't pay attention to me."
"What do you mean?"
"You know that book I asked for? You didn't even look at my face to answer and then I found it there, on your desk. The other day you didn't hear me repeat the same thing more than three times." You blurted out, seeing that his gaze wasn't just on you but was going towards the bag on your bed.
"And you're leaving me because of this?"
And there was the sound he loved, even if the reason wasn't clear to him yet. With a light laugh you approached him and didn't hesitate to touch his face, turning his attentive gaze in your direction.
"Yes, I was upset about the situation, yes, I purposely gave you the silent treatment, but no, I would never leave you for something so trivial."
His eyes closed along with a relieved sigh that escaped his lips. Understanding that your closeness was an authorization, he intertwined his arms around your waist, ending any distance the two of you had.
"Can you forgive me? Sometimes I can't help but get lost in my own tasks and you've always been my lifeline, pulling me out of it." He explained, letting his fingers glide over your skin. "I think I took you for granted and I promise not to do that anymore. And if I do, please let me know, hit me, dunk me in seawater. Just please don't walk away from me, don't go without talking to me."
"I promise and I'm sorry for acting like this."
His lips captured yours quickly. Almost as a way of sealing the little promise between the two of you. However, you saw his eyes drift towards the suitcases.
"Promise you're not leaving me?"
"Oh babe." You laughed once more at his desolate expression. "These are some clothes I want to donate. Some of them don't fit me anymore, I really need some new things too, so I decided to clear the space."
"So that's it. You go, get rid of these clothes and then we'll go buy everything you need. And I want to hear everything you've done this week."

đ đđđđ đđđ, steve harrington
steve harrington x fem!reader (1771 words)
in which steve sneaks into your bedroom at night and you canât help but let your late insecurities out
warnings: making out, insecurities, fear of being used, mentions of sexy times if u squint a lot, soft steve âšď¸
âžâ。𦹠°âŠ
You flip the page of the romance book in your hands, humming along the music playing softly on the record player. The soft material of your pyjama pants rubs against the freshly washed comforter under you, a content smile displays your lips.
Itâs quite late and you canât deny your eyes start to fell more droopy by the second. But itâs Friday after all, and all you want is to enjoy the peace of not having to worry about school tomorrow.
The once happy smile dissolves with the sudden sound of something hitting your window.
Discarding your book, you slowly approach the window, immediately catching a glimpse of the figure with messy brown hair climbing his way to your window. Steve.
You canât say youâre surprised, itâs Steve after all. But it is late and he definitely walked the few miles that separate your house from his, you can tell by the way his nose is reddened from the cold.
It does leave you wondering why heâs here, in your bedroom, in the middle of the night. Not that you donât question why heâs at your side at all, you do. Heâs âking Steveâ after all and itâs quite hard to believe heâs all yours sometimes.
You push the window open as fast as you can without making too much noise. Your parents would kill you if you woke them up, let alone if they knew you had a boy sneaking in through your window.
âSteve-? What are you doing here?â You question, trying to sound reprehensible but failing as he grins so nicely at you.
He climbs clumsily through the window, lading with a soft thud on the carpet.
âHi, baby.â Steve avoids the question, closing the window before turning to look at you with wide eyes.
âSo?â You press.
âSo? I missed you, had to see you.â Taking a step closer, he reaches to rub your jumper sleeved arm with his thumb, ever so tentatively trying to make sure youâre not upset that he showed up.
Upset is definitely not the word to describe how you feel, but you at least have to pretend your stomach isnât doing flips with excitement at the moment.
âYou walked me home earlier, Steve.â You pretend to be logic, grabbing his hand to play with his fingers as a reassurance.
ââS too long.â His hands tug at your jumper to pull you close, cold nose nuzzling your cheek and pressing a smooch to your jaw. âAnd stop calling me Steve.â He grumbles against your skin.
âIsnât that your name?â You feign innocence.
âTo you itâs baby, handsome, sweetheart- you smell nice. Did you know that?â You giggle at the way he changes subject mid sentence and pouts when you do so.
Before you have a chance to teasingly apologize to him, his attention drifts to looking around your bedroom. Itâs still quite new to him, heâs only been here once or twice very briefly.
He walks up to your record player, looking through your small collection of records before picking one that fits his liking. It plays a soft melody, fitting the moment in the best way possible.
You lean against your desk as Steveâs eyes dance across the pictures on your wall, his lips turning up when he comes across a picture of the two of you kissing.
Finally, he walks to your bed, discarding his sneakers along the way before sitting against the heard board.
âCome here.â Steve pats the space beside him, voice gentler than ever.
Shuffling nervously on your feet, you comply slowly. He slings an arm around your shoulders, your side pressed against his as he picks up the book that had your attention earlier.
âI donât know how you can read this without getting bored.â He says while flipping through the pages lazily.
âI like it.â You answer simply, though you know heâs anything but making fun of what you like to do. Steve makes sure to pay extra attention anytime youâre talking about your books.
âI like you.â His answer is probably the cheesiest it could be but it doesnât stop your heart from almost jumping out of your mouth.
You move your head to look at him, finding that is eyes have been set on your face this whole time. His head is slightly turned to the side as if to hold him back from leaning into you and you canât help but wonder if he can look any prettier.
Steve brings one hand up to tuck a strand of hair behind your ear, the featherlight touch bringing shivers to your skin.
Without wasting another second, you tug him by the shirt to brush your lips tentatively against his. He takes it as a hint to fully lean in and finally kiss you.
Itâs only now he realizes he didnât kiss you as soon as he jumped through that window and oh does he regret it.
His hand gently cradles your face, thumb brushing against your cheekbone as his lips slowly move against yours.
You almost whine when he moves to take his arm from itâs place around your shoulders, but immediately relax once he guides you to lay down, body towering over yours in a comfortable manner.
His lips return to yours in a more passionate kiss now, one hand resting comfortably on your waist as the other rests by your head where is elbow presses against the bed to support his weight.
Your fingers grip the sweater by his chest, feeling the buttons of the button-up underneath it and you relish in the way his fingers gently play with the strands of your hair.
Steve swears he can fell the warmth of your skin radiating through your jumper and gives in to the urge of sliding down the zipper. His hand slots in the space between your tank top against your ribs and the jumper. Itâs an innocent act, no second intentions, at least he doesnât mean to come off that way.
Though itâs all it takes for you to freeze right on the spot. You donât mean to, really. But thereâs the voice in the back of your head thatâs filled with questions. Does he expect more? Is he here just for this? Does he actually like you?
You try hard to make a quick recover, to push the questions away - and youâre quite glad he doesnât realize. But before you can rethink it, youâre breaking the kiss, the words practically spilling out of your mouth.
âMight start thinking youâre only here for the kisses.â You manage for it to come out teasing, pushing your lips into a smile.
âWould that be too bad?â He teases back, grinning gently while running his eyes through your face.
You hum unenthusiastically, trying hard to keep the smile going. Itâs not like you donât know heâs joking, but thereâs still a part of you that wonders - is he really joking? You hate to think of Steve, your Steve, this way. So much it makes your throat feel tied with a knot.
âHey, iâm just teasing, angel. You know that, yeah?â Steveâs grin turns into a concerned frown, noticing the way your lips twitch slightly
âYeah.â You whisper meekly, not daring to look him in the eye as you know heâs gonna be looking at you with those upset puppy eyes and it might just make you feel even more guilty.
Out of instinct, you reach to tug at your jumper to seek feeling less exposed. In the process, you barely notice that you push Steveâs hand away and the confused expression on his face pulls at your heartstrings.
âHey, iâm sorry- i really was joking. Didnât mean to upset you, i promise.â Heâs now genuinely concerned, trying hard to decipher your expressions.
âI know. Itâs just that you unzipped my jumper and i just thought you-â You cut yourself off before getting to finish the sentence, feeling your cheeks burn with embarrassment from how silly you think you sound.
Steve feels as if his stomach has dropped, suddenly realizing what had brought you to act like this and itâs like all of it clicks inside his head. He made you uncomfortable. The last person he would ever intend to do so.
âWait- i wasnât trying anything.â He curses himself internally at how stupid he sounds before continuing. âBaby, i would never do anything that youâre not ready for. I came here cause i couldnât stop thinking about you and there was no way i was waiting until tomorrow. And as much as i love your kisses, theyâre not even a quarter of why i enjoy being with you.â Steve moves to sit up, not daring to have the chance of overstepping again.
âWait- donât go. I know that, Steve.â There its is again. Steve. And do you really know it? He canât get himself to feel convinced. He knows about the whole role heâs supposed to play at school, the âno attachmentâ guy. But heâs let go of that long ago and he canât blame you for being a bit hesitant, as much as it hurts him.
âNo but i need you to actually know. I love you- and i want this to be perfect, us. And i understand you might have doubts but baby, i am so serious about you. Thereâs nothing i would hate more than to ruin what we have and to hurt you.â He practically pours his heart out to you, obviously nervous as he fiddles with his fingers.
âYou love me?â Thatâs all you managed to get out, heart pounding wildly and eyes wide.
âYes.â Steve breaths out.
You pull him hastily by the neck, pressing a long clumsy kiss to his lips. It seems quite ironic due to the situation but thereâs really no other way you could think of to express how grateful you are.
âI love you, handsome.â Now thatâs more like you, adding up to the giddy smile plastered across your face. âSorry again.â
âDonât say that. I should have been more clear.â Thereâs something about the way he says it that just makes you know heâs sincere, you feel overly silly for even doubting earlier.
Wrapping your legs around his waist, you pull him with force to fall on top of you. A giggle escapes your lips as he huffs jokingly, nuzzling into your neck and breathing in.
Steve wraps you in his arms, squeezing tightly before pecking your neck repeatedly, mumbling sweet âi love yousâ in between each.
The content smile from earlier returns to your lips, the romance story becoming your own reality.

Family Friend [PG10]
Summary : You and Pierre had been dating for a while but the last thing you expected was to see a picture of you kissing on social media. Except that's not how your brother's found out it was him.
Pairing : Pierre Gasly x Leclerc!Reader
Warnings: Google Translate French
When you woke up that morning, the last thing you expected to see was a billion text messages from only three people. Charles, Arthur, and Lorenzo. Reading through the texts, they were all variations of
You looked down with Pierreâs arm tightly wrapped around your waist. You opened the Twitter well now X app to see millions of pictures of yourself kissing a guy -Pierre- explaining all the texts from your brothers. Your face dropped as you shook Pierre awakeÂ
âWhen were you going to tell us?â
âWho is that?â
âWhat the hell Y/NâÂ
âAmour? Quâest-ce qui ne va pas?â (Love? Whatâs wrong?) He asked, voice deep and full of sleep
âWeâve been caught. Thereâs pictures of us kissing. My brotherâs have already seen itâ You panicked as he pulled you closer now more awake.Â
âChĂŠrie. Take a deep breath.â (Darling) You copied his breathing. Your head placed against his chest, his heartbeat against your ear resting right above his heart, relaxing you more.Â
âI guess. I miss your blonde hairâ You changed the subject as you always did when you panicked.Â
âNow letâs see this picture?â He muttered, taking your phone and looking at it
âOkay. So itâs just a picture of you kissing someone. Itâs also a very old picture ChĂŠrieâ He rubbed your arm gently with his hand
âYouâre changing the subject. This could be anyone in this picture, so letâs continue with our plans of a day on the boat. Thereâs gonna be other people there, so letâs get ready for thatâ You nodded, kissing his jaw.Â
An hour later, you were following Pierre onto Charlesâ boat after not answering any of your brotherâs texts. Lando thankfully followed behind you so it didnât look too suspicious. Not that he knew that you were using him to hide your panic.Â
âLook who finally showed upâ Charles rolled his eyes, and you dropped your headÂ
âItâs an old picture. I promise. I was like nineteen in those pictures. Like four years agoâ you sighed, sitting down next to Pierre. It's more like you had been hiding your relationship for four years. It was perfect. You got to quarantine together and just pretend it was because Pierreâs house offer had fallen through. Well, it had, but he definitely could have got another.Â
âQu'est ce qui ne vas pas chez toi?â (What is wrong with you?) Arthur asked Charles, pushing him aside and wrapping his arms around you from behind. Being just a year younger than Arthur, you had always been close. He was more interested in who it was to annoy you about it than Charles, who wanted to kill whoever it was. Lorenzo just wanted to be nosey and know all the details. A little longer, you were talking about stories of your childhood with the Leclerc brothers. Pierre had left to go to the bathroom and then get the next round of drinks.Â
âY/N started a fight once, and it got a little too violentâ Arthur laughed, and you shook your headÂ
âI did not start the fight. I joined in on the fight and got violently attackedâ you replied, rolling his eyesÂ
âViolently attacked?â Lando asked, and you nodded
âEnzo pushed Cha. Who fell into me, and I went through the glass table. Maman was not happy. I broke her glass table but was even less amused when she realised I was bleedingâ You looked at Arthur, who was sitting on the other side of you.Â
âItâs a nice scar now. One for the history booksâ Arthur laughedÂ
âWhat scar?â Pierre asked, handing you a glass of wine as he took his seat back next to you, his hand instinctively going to your thigh, which was hidden by the table you were sitting at.Â
âThe one from going through the table when the boys were fightingâ Â
âThe one on your right ribs?â He asked, and you nodded. He paused only now, just realising what had left his mouth. Shit.Â
âQue viens-tu de dire?â (What did you just say?) Charles asked, standing up and rounding the side of the table
âI didnâtâ He shrugged, and you rolled your eyesÂ
âItâs not exactly hidden, is it?â You asked with a shrug
âIâm sure Lando even knew it was thereâ you added, and Lando shook his headÂ
âOf course you didnâtâ This really wasnât how you wanted your relationship to come out. Your leg bouncing under the table. Arthur took your hand, giving it a squeeze, knowing exactly how this was about to go. Arthur had definitely pieced it together today, and he didnât care.Â
âC'est bon. Il s'en remettraâ He whispered in your ear as Charles continued to go off on Pierre for getting with his little sister. You stood up, pushing Charles backÂ
âShut up! Charles. Youâre not my keeper. No wonder I spent the last twenty-three years hiding all of my relationships. Including this one. Pierre looks after me, Charles. More than you ever had during your travelling. Itâs all Iâm the best with you. Arthurâs never been good enough, Iâve never been good enough. So stop it, will you?â You shook your head walking inside the boat, Pierre, following behind you. His arms wrapped around your waist as your hands rested against the counter. Your head fell back onto his chest as you tried to hold back your tears. His head resting on your shoulder.Â
âAmour. Je t'aime et je t'aimerais toujoursâ (Love. I love you and always will) He kissed your neck softly as his thumbs gently rubbed against your hips.Â

⥠Levi being awkward about his feelings for you and not knowing how to act around you.
⥠SFW, pretty fluffy ⥠Levi x Fem!Reader ⥠One shot, soft Levi ⥠Word count: 2431 ⥠Summary: You work at the orphanage that Levi helped facilitate. You think he doesn't like you -- he definitely doesn't act like it. But it turns out, you couldn't be more wrong.
Levi tends to visit the orphanage now and then, when he can. He doesn't like to make a big show of it -- he just wants to check in on things, make sure everything is running smoothly and that the children are being properly cared for. After all, this is a project that he had helped bring to fruition.
He's pragmatic with his approach to his visits -- he wants to know updates, facts, and problems to which he can find solutions by leveraging his position as Captain. He doesn't interact much with the children, it's not exactly his strong suit. Still, he seems to linger longer than he needs to. He usually just leans against the fence along the perimeter of the grounds, taking in the idyllic scene of children, no longer lost and alone, playing in the field together.
There was no need for him to do this, but he did it anyway. And you had noticed.
But, you could never get a read on Levi, really. The two of you hardly interacted outside of meetings, during which, you'd often feel his eyes burning into you, narrowed and tense. While others in the meetings talked about numbers, resources, and operations, you typically told stories about the children -- their personalities, preferences, funny habits, concerns you had for each of their small, little hearts. It didn't help that you frequently bent the rules, too, finding them too constricting and unnecessary.
This often dragged the meetings out longer than necessary, and you could sense the annoyance emanating off of Levi. He wasn't fond of you and your sentimental musings -- this much you were sure of.
You missed today's meeting, somewhat purposefully, trying to avoid subjecting yourself to Levi's gaze and mutterings.
It's one of the first Spring days that feels truly in bloom, the sun kissing your skin, blossoms dotting the trees, the grass lush and vibrant. So, you sit out in the field and read a storybook to the children, who are either sitting at your feet or laying down, one of them tucked up into your lap.
Some of them had been falling behind in learning to read and write -- it wasn't their fault, and you wanted to help. You show all of them each of the words in the book and help them sound out the letters, guiding them through the story.
After the meeting inside draws to a close, Levi makes his way out into the field as he always does, expecting to see the children running around as they usually are. Instead, he sees you. His posture stiffens as he approaches you, his expression unreadable.
"That's not your job," he comments, a flat statement, as he leans against the fence. He looks down at you, his gaze scrutinizing. "They have teachers."
You tilt your head up to look at him, a soft smile on your face. "I know, but," you look at the children, "they don't mind that, do they?"
The children collectively shake their heads, tiny giggles rising from the group.
Tch. He's officially annoyed.
"Suppose it doesn't matter then, huh?" His voice drips with dry sarcasm. "Just do whatever you want."
The child who is curled into your lap gently tugs on your sleeve, lifting themselves up to whisper into your ear, not very discreetly, "Miss Y/N, why is Captain Levi always so grumpy?"
You catch Levi's frown, subtle as it may be, and the low rumble that comes from the back of his throat.
You laugh, an effortless, melodious sound, your lips curving into a wider smile that reveals your teeth. "I don't know," you whisper to the child with just as much indiscretion, "why don't you ask him?"
The child's face flushes bright pink, nuzzling their head into the fabric of your shirt, too sheepish to talk to Levi themselves. Your hand lifts up to stroke the child's hair.
For a moment so fleeting you can't be sure it actually happened at all, his eyes follow the tender, gentle motion of your fingers stroking the child's hair, before he looks away. Your gaze lingers on his profile, tracing the outline of it, the way his hair blows in the breeze, revealing a clearer look at his eyes than usual.
He shifts his weight as he stands there, just barely, a signal that he's waiting both for this scene to end, and to speak to you, likely about logistics. You get the hint.
"Alright, my sweethearts, why don't you all head inside?" You look at the group of children, nodding your head toward the large farmhouse. "Go on and get cleaned up for dinner, I'm expecting no dirty little hands at the table, hm?"
The children scramble to their feet and begin running off, giggling and mumbling to each other as they do. You rise up, closing the book and tucking it under your arm and brushing off the blades of grass that have stuck to your clothes.
"Come inside for some tea?" You ask, your eyes drifting back to Levi after you watch the children run off, the bubbly sounds of their laughter popping in the air.
He pauses for a beat. The faintest twitch of his lower lip. "Sure, 'ppreciate it."
You grin. "Okay, great." You begin walking. "You usually decline that offer."
You look at him from the corner of your eye. His movements as he walks are precise, economical, his eyes cemented forward.
"So?" The word is terse, even a tinge defensive. "Doesn't mean I hate tea."
You accept his answer; with him, you tend to take what you get. The rest of the walk is silent, apart from the gentle hum of springtime bursting to life around you.
Inside, the kitchen is washed in golden sunlight, specks of dust hovering in the air as if the moment is completely suspended in time. Without a word, Levi takes a seat at the small table by the window, his head turned to look outside as you set the kettle on the stove. You can't help but catch glances at the back of his head, the tilt of his shoulders.
You make two cups of black tea -- both with milk and a drop of honey. This is how everyone you know drinks it, and you can't imagine anyone would have a preference for it plain, bitter.
You settle into the chair next to his, and you hand him the teacup, which he takes from you by the top, your fingers briefly brushing against his in the exchange. His skin is dry, rough. He peers into the cup, his teeth grinding together imperceptibly as he notes the light, creamy color of the tea; he takes a sip and his eyelid flutters, faintly.
Normally, with anyone else, he'd have pushed the cup to the side, his mouth set in a curt line of disapproval at the unnecessary sweetness. But for some reason that he's not quite sure of, with you, he can't. He sips the tea anyway, forces himself to.
"One of the other workers ratted on you." He breaks the silence. He leans back in his chair, slinging one leg over the other, his ankle resting on his knee. "Told me you let those brats sneak into the kitchen at night and take extra food."
"Oh," your teeth clench together, your nose scrunches, embarrassed to be caught. "Well, the thing with that- it's-"
"Why?" He cuts you off, a single word urging you to get to the point. God, you think, he must think I'm a complete idiot.
You inhale deeply. "I think they're just hungry, you know? Their meals aren't always that big, and they're still growing, so..."
"That's not what I'm asking," his gaze bores into yours with an intensity you're not sure he's completely aware of. "I'm asking why you let them do it."
"Oh," you sigh softly, your eyes tracing over the patterns in the wooden table, collecting your thoughts. "It wouldn't feel right to scold them, to dissuade them from wanting something as simple as food. They've never been allowed to want... anything before. I don't want them to feel like they're not supposed to want even the most basic things. I think it would make them feel like... like they don't deserve anything."
"You're not wrong about that." His voice is low, hardly above a whisper, and he turns his head to look out the window. "I'm not going to stop you from letting them do it. I just... wanted to know why."
You see the clouds swirling in his irises for a moment, his jawline tense with thought, with memory, with contemplation.
You look away, feeling as if you're intruding on something private just by looking at him. You lift your teacup and take a long sip, then set it back down.
At the sound of your cup fitting back into its saucer, he's brought back to reality. His gaze narrows, helplessly fixated on the rim of your teacup, on the faded pink lipstick stain you left on it, that somehow blends perfectly into the intricate floral pattern painted onto the cup. A short, barely perceptible puff of air escapes his nose.
He looks at you, again, his eyes catching the sunlight in a way that makes them look silver, but not icy or cold -- like delicate dew drops that form in the gray early morning mist after a rainy night. Rare, and oddly comforting.
He's too busy looking at you to notice you looking at him. His eyes trace over you, as if he's searching for something. Something that he's not sure if he wants to find, but has to -- in the way the light catches your hair and brings secret tones and shades out of it, the softness of your breathing, the lingering redness from the sun that glows on your cheeks, nose, and shoulders.
He doesn't understand it -- you -- how you've remained good, compassionate, free, warm, even hopeful, despite the cruelty and ugliness of the world you both live in. But he wants to understand it, just by looking at you.
"You look..." he begins, the words tumbling out of his mouth tightly, awkwardly, as if by accident.
Your eyes snap to his, widened slightly like an animal caught in the woods, and your hand flies up to your mouth. "What? Is there something on my face?"
Your fingers wipe across your lips preemptively, the apples of your cheeks and the bridge of your nose turn rosy. He watches this motion, and his brows press together, his jaw clamps down. You think he's become actually repelled by you.
"No. Shit. You look," his voice is flat, dry. His hand gestures vaguely, the movement stilted and rigid, as if he's trying to find the word he's looking for in the air, "nice. Now. In the sunlight." He grumbles the last part.
You couldn't help but smile. It was endearing in a way, seeing Levi, who is typically calm and collected, stumble his way through a simple sentence.
"Thank you, Levi." You mean it, genuinely.
"Yeah." He clears his throat. The grip of his fingers flex slightly, tightening their hold around the rim of his tea cup.
"I always thought I bothered you." Your head tilts to the side, your hair flowing with the movement. A glint of amusement, teasing shines in your eyes.
"You do bother me," he breathes out, firmly, his eyes darting to the side. "Just not in the way you think."
Oh.
"I see..." The words come out of your mouth in a single breath, your heart catching in your throat, preventing you from saying anything more.
He looks at you. The tension in his jaw releases, his lips relax, parting ever so slightly.
"Is that alri-"
"Yes." You cut him off before he can even finish the thought, before he can question this fragile moment and retreat back inside himself.
He nods, strands of his hair swaying in front of his eyes. Your hand, drawn to him by an invisible force, reaches up to his forehead. You hover, hesitantly, before pushing the hair away from his eyes, slowly, your touch feather-light.
Instantly, instinctively, he turns his head away, pulling away from your touch partially. His top lip tugs upward, a movement of subdued discomfort, uncertainty. Your hand slides down to his chin, gently coaxing him back toward you, and he allows it.
"Sorry." He mutters. "I don't..." The rest of the sentence evades him. But you know where it was going. He doesn't do this. He doesn't know how.
You nod, your expression melting into one of understanding. Your eyes glide around his face, your fingers returning to his hair, pushing away the curtain that his eyes often hide behind.
"What are you doing?" He's not defensive -- he's genuinely curious.
"I want to see your eyes better." You tilt your head as you look at him, your eyes meeting his, looking into them for what feels like the first time, with a clarity and honesty that feels palpable. He lets you.
Your lips curl up into a perfect curve, and his eyes shift down to them immediately. His expression doesn't waver, but his dilating pupils reveal his hand.
You begin to lean in, little by little, as if testing how far he'll let this go, what he truly wants. His eyes meet yours again with a softness, a vulnerable longing that grants you permission. Finally, you close the space between the two of you, your lips lightly brushing against his. You feel a small breath escape from his lips, melting against yours.
His head tilts and he leans in further, his lips molding against yours with a whispered intensity. A soft sound rises in the back of his throat, as his hand finds its way to the back of your head, his fingers tangling into your hair. His tongue presses against your lips, realizing he's enjoying the taste of something sweet for the first time.
He tugs your hair, not forcefully, just enough to pull you back so he can look into your eyes; you can see the thoughts reeling through his head as his eyes shift between the two of yours.
"Y/N," his voice dips into a rare tenderness, "you bother me. A lot."
You're not sure if you're imagining it, but you think you even see the smallest upturn to his lips.
"Then I suppose I'll have to keep bothering you," you match his tone, your words wrapping around him with a warmth he's never felt before.
He makes a hm sound of approval. He nods. He smiles -- you're sure of it this time.

People's first impression of you
This reading is about how people in general will perceive you at first impression. Which might not be true to how you really are. People's perception are easily skewed by their own biases and experiences, so take it with a grain of salt. You may use this to compare to your perception of yourself and see the similarities and differences so you might take action to align them better.
This is a general reading meant for multiple people. Take only what resonates and leave out the rest.
Your feedback is much appreciated. If you find the reading resonated with you, leave a comment, Iâd love to know đ

Book a reading with me - KO-FI (â personal reading)
CUBE 1
⢠Your presence unsettles people on first sight. They don't usually see this kind of energy often. It's foreign and distant, out of reach. Even if you don't do or wear anything out of the ordinary, your energy is different from the people around you. Unsettling is because some people can feel uncomfortable with the unknown, they don't know how to act or react to the differences.
⢠Yet people can feel like you're someone they've already seen somewhere, especially in their childhood. You remind them of their distant memories, nostalgic, fuzzy, magical.
⢠Soft and kind looking, but not too easy to approach.
⢠Different people will form different impressions of you. Each person sees a different image of you. Some can be wildly different from each other.
⢠They may think you do something related to art, artistic, and creative.
⢠Good self-control, you seem to be the kind that doesn't get angry easily, and you keep your opinions for yourself. You don't seek to control other, the only one you control is yourself. But you know how to protect your beliefs and your values when challenged.
⢠Honest, pure intentions, don't like to meddle in other's business but will help with all you can if asked.
⢠Private, quite closed-off. You don't speak about yourself much or at least about matters that are personal. People find it hard to read your emotions and thoughts from the first meeting. They get a sense that to get close to you emotionally, to get you to trust them, to get a peek at your deeper affection, they have to try harder and be serious and patient.
⢠But you don't seem to have problems with being yourself in public. You can be witty, charming, a little detached. Having a few pleasant exchanges with you is easy, going deeper is not.
⢠Some people would want to form friendship with you immediately, wanting to get closer, to understand you better. This could make you uncomfortable sometimes, being the target of people's curiosity.
CUBE 2
⢠Mysterious and mysterious. People feel like you will take them away, into an unknown path full of twists and turns. What they see is not what they get. There's so much more hidden underneath that they want to uncover. Which may feel invasive at times.
⢠The impressions can be polar opposites. Love and hate, attraction and repulsion, safe and scary. But it's definitely not mild.
⢠Mysterious but still approachable enough, people will feel an urge to get closer.
⢠People think you are a spiritual person, someone who practices occult crafts, or at least interested in those fields. Someone who likes a good mystery, darker, taboo subjects.
⢠You seem to value different things. Your definition of what is valuable might not align with theirs.
⢠This may sound uncomfortable, but some people will wonder in their mind, quietly, about your sexual preferences. Are you a passive or an aggressive person? Are you passionate or cold?
⢠Beautiful hands and voice. Something about your voice seems different, a little odd, unique, memorable.
⢠You don't seem to have a good sense of money. Maybe you're forgetful or spend money on things that are considered unnecessary or odd by other people. People get the impression that you are flexible with money and generous. You don't mind spending on things and on people you love, you don't put too much weight on material possessions, things come and go, if you lose some, you will gain some. That's the impression that people have of you.
⢠You have a large well of knowledge at your expenses. You learn things quickly. In fact, learning seems to be an easy thing for you, something that you don't have to put too much effort into to get good results. Information flows smoothly, absorbed and moulded into unique perspectives.
⢠Some people can sense that you are hiding some difficulties, pains, or a hurtful past inside, but you're not ready to reveal them to anyone.
⢠People feel you're someone who has been well disciplined since childhood, which has made you behave in a very proper and restrained manner. Very strong boundaries. Some might think that your silent and mysterious manner is, in fact, just a cover for some social anxiety. That you're not ready to show yourself fully.
CUBE 3
⢠Nervous energy. You don't seem calm at first impression. You want to be constantly on the move, changing things.
⢠You might have an oblivious and detached look, the look of someone who is tired of the world around them, someone who is not too attached to anything.
⢠People might notice that you have a worried look on your face. Something is constantly bothering your mind and they don't know if they can have a place in there. And if they do, they don't know if they can stay for long. You seem like someone who's always ready to leave people and things behind in chasing a distant dream.
⢠Commitment is there, but not to them, but to something else. You might trigger abandonment issues in some people. Those who are more down to earth, who prize loyalty and groundness, might not feel at ease with you. Your energy is too fast for their comfort.
⢠This can also make people wonder what it will be like if they do get your attention and commitment. Because the idea of it is so elusive, it becomes even more desirable.
⢠People might question your age, you look young for your age.
⢠The way you communicate is fascinating but can be confusing. You might jump from topic to topic seamlessly, which can be quite hard to keep up with. Maybe you even purposefully (or just obliviously) left out some crucial details in your story that can give off a totally different impression. People might frequently ask you to clarify your words.
⢠You seem close to one of your parents, but at the same time, there's a desire to break away. To stand on your own.
⢠Some people can sense a desire for acknowledgement. You want people to see your talents and creativity just like how you see yourself. I think they do believe in you, they believe that you can achieve great things from the sheer intensity of your being. Some people are well-known for their contributions, their help given to other people, while you, people can sense that just by being yourself, people will gravitate towards you.
⢠You seem to be popular, someone who knows a lot of people and has a lot of acquaintances and friends.
CUBE 4
⢠Stern, intense. Someone who is in their power, their own authority. Someone who is so confident and so sure of themselves that other people's opinions can't sway them.
⢠They think that you know exactly where you want to go, what your life's trajectory is, and they can see that you're actively pursuing it. A clear vision and an active drive.
⢠People might assume you're in an authoritative position. They might even subconsciously feel an urge to submit, to give the power of decision to you. Because somehow they can feel that you're a trustworthy person. As someone who knows their life so well, you sure can lead other to their destination also. That's how people think.
⢠You seem wise, mature and generous, ready to help, to give guidance and advice. People can sense you've seen and experienced a lot of things in life but you still keep true to your Ideals. If you give someone advice or correct their behaviour, it's because you care and want them to be better. It comes from the desire for improvement.
⢠You don't talk much and seem to prefer listening. Taking in what the other person is talking about and thinking deeply about it. People might feel validated by this.
⢠But you can be defensive when your beliefs and values are challenged. There are certain topics that can make you talk passionately, which can be a surprise for people who don't know you well.
⢠A meticulous person who prefers things to be neat or in a specific order. Maybe your style and your surroundings seem really neat.
⢠Someone who knows how to appreciate small and mundane beauty in life.
⢠Some people might have heard about you before meeting you. And the stories seem kind of painful, serious, not sunshine and rainbow. So they could already develop some preconceived notions about you that are heavier than who you actually are.

niccolo bf headcannons, how would he be with his gf, particularly a shy girl :))
oh my gosh heâd be insufferable (but also the sweetest guy ever?)
i did this with a few headcanons and a short imagine cus i didnât know what one youâd like! enjoy!! đ¤
- this boy would love to see you get all flustered from his compliments, or hide your face to not let him see how red itâs getting. - if you were diverting your eyes from him for whatever reason, heâd definitely make you look at him - âlemme see that pretty faceâ - âcâmon ma, i donât biteâ - âunless you want me toâ - all jokes aside, if someone were to talk over you when you were finally trying to speak your mind, heâd make sure you knew he was paying attention atleast. - âshut up and let her finish, yeah?â - heâs the only one allowed to tease you for how flustered you get - someone else goes âoooh sheâs blushing, nicco, look whatcha do to her,â - he is pissed - âyeah? what about it?â heâd snap, knowing you wouldnât want him to be too rude, but simultaneously not wanting you to be embarrassed - heâd def say some choice words to them later, regardless of if they were his friend or not đ - if you wanted him to, heâd order for you at a restaurant, or things of that sort
â Ë・âŕ¨ŕ§Ë
you and niccolo were sat on his couch, with brando and vittorio sitting beside the two of you, chatting mindlessly about something trivial. you had your legs splayed over niccoloâs thighs, his hands holding them in place.
you were reading a book, one that he had gotten you a few days ago, his excuse being he had just saw it and remembered you wanting it. the reality had been that he had waited for it to be released, just to be able to purchase it for you as soon as it did.
either way, heâd never forget the way your face had lit up when he presented it to you. with your expression, it couldâve been guessed that he gave you some crazy expensive gift, rather than just a fifteen euro book.
the boys continued talking, though niccoâs gaze kept flashing back towards you, as if he couldnât bare to draw his eyes away for longer than a couple minutes.
you finished the chapter you were on, putting a small slip of random paper in as a bookmark.
he turned towards you, noticing the look in your eyes. it was always like he could read you like the books you always had your nose stuck in.
brando and vitto turned the conversation to just be between the two of them, letting niccolo talk to you rather than them.
you started chatting about the book, slowly changing subjects into how your day was. he listened close, occasionally nodding you along so you felt more comfortable letting him know about all these things.
that was, until brando started tapping the boyâs shoulder, trying to get his attention. you stopped talking, wanting niccolo to be able to talk to his friends, not wanting him to feel obliged to listen to you ramble.
this made him suddenly frustrated. he couldâve dealt with the incessant hits against his shoulder. but now that you had stopped talking, now that he wasnât able to listen to your sweet voice, he was upset.
âbro, âm right in the middle of a conversation here, fuck off,â nicco sassed towards his friend, causing him to hold his hands up defensively and turn back to vitto.
then, his voice softened as he looked back towards you, âgo ahead, babe, âm listening,â he urged, his eyes scanning over your face.
you shrugged, âitâs fine, you can talk to your friends,â you assured, opening up your book again.
âcâmon, please,â he practically begged, just wanting to hear more about how you were doing. he disliked doing this in front of his friends, as he hated for people to see the softer side of him, especially people like vitto.
still, heâd do anything for you, and heâd do it a thousand times more.
âtell me more about the girl you saw in the halls. what was her name? ludo?â
it was as if a switch in you flipped, as you nodded at the mention of your friend, going into a more in depth story about the dark-haired girl.
you had no clue what was yet to come with her.
