Saw your recent mbti post and i was wondering which of the pastas/proxies/marble hornets dudes would fit the best with an ENFP!Reader?

for proxies, i think all 3 of them are tied for #1 because with tim, its like an opposites attract situation. brian generally just loves when his s/o is outgoing. with toby, i think you being loud kind of gives him some confidence because youre def making him loud with you.

for the creeps, at #1 is DEFINITELY laughing jack, i do not need an explanation. #2 is def nina the killer, same as LJ i do not need an explanation. the rest of the creeps don't really care if you're loud but the onee at rock bottom are def Homicidal Liu and Jane the killer

alex - the walking dead. has seen every single episode even though it’s been running for over a decade. says he could probably survive a zombie apocalypse. is the biggest glenn defender ever.

tod - community. 100%. when the movie got announced he went apeshit on twitter. he loves troy, has seen every episode at least twice, and actually liked the fourth season for some reason.

george - he doesn’t watch tv unless it’s like a sport. look at him. if he had to pick, brooklyn 99.

clear - shameless. she sat through all eleven seasons, would have watch parties with her friends, and liked to take notes on the psyche of the characters. she HATED frank with a passion and loved fiona. actually cried at both finales.

kimberly - first kill. clear or shania told her to watch it saying it was like a better version of twilight. (she loves twilight). she was on the front lines trying to keep the show from getting canceled. she has probably made an edit of caliette. she’s crazy like that.

rory - he also likes breaking bad, but he’s more into better call saul. saul goodman is HIM. literally so relatable and babygirl. he saw better call saul first, so when he showed up in s2 of brba he went APESHIT

eugene - abbott elementary because there is “finally” a REAL show about what it’s like to be a teacher. he also never gets into sitcoms so it was a shock for him that he liked it so much

nora - bones. she LOVES crime dramas on daytime television, and bones is no exception. she finds herself trying to figure out the twist every single episode. she also gets way too into the characters. (tim was explaining to her that bones was autistic coded and she went :o)

tim - kid LOOKS like henry danger, but i’m gonna say malcom in the middle. secretly wished for a big family growing up. alex told him that the father makes meth and since tim didn’t know about brba he was actively seeking out that plot line.

evan - literally anything with wrestling.

kat - the office. not in like, a “basic” way or anything but because she is a businesswoman and needs to feel included. she likes pam a lot. wanted dwight to die once. she got through about eight seasons before calling it quits.

wendy - i feel like she’s a house md fan??? idk why or how but it just makes sense to me i suppose. probably an rsl fan or something

kevin - okay unpopular opinion but i feel like he’s a huge fan of the will forte era on snl. he’s a will forte fan in general so he’s probably seen clone high, last man on earth and macgruber

erin - okay this is very unpopular and very out of character but she has a guilty pleasure show and that is dawsons creek. joey is her fave and she is Completely Normal about pacey + joey. her regular show is yellowjackets, however. god bless cannibalistic high schoolers

Ok so im thinking way too much about the layout of these fucking menus (that will probably never exist. rip i guess.) so im just gonna list things out under the cut (its messy whoops) so please bear with me lol 😔😔

* RECORD puts the game into a 2.5D first person state where you can (obviously) record anything (which saves to a separate folder). Most cutscenes can’t be recorded, but some will let you. Some you have no choice but to record.

* TALK is also obvious lmao (TALKing can initiate certain cutscenes, and if(ex: when Tim and Jay team up) you want to talk to party members(or if they have something to say) you have to select TALK before doing so).

* INSPECT is, again, obvious, but doing it too much will negatively affect the (i dont have a better name for it rn lmao) Operator meter. Doing it too little and watch out. you’ll miss something and they’ll get you.

* INVENTORY. Do i even need to say anything lol The menu style will change according to who you’re playing as and what they’re currently using(ex: jay’s camera bag in #69) to store items. This also means the on-hand inventory quantity will change. Storage inventory(most of the time the cars) is for storing excess items.

* Health is health lol the other meter is the Operator meter. That fills up/ depletes and changes colors depending on exposure to The Events™️. The more filled the bar is, the more exposed the player is, the more black the meter is, is how affected the character is( ex: so in the final scene of #72, jay’s meter would be completely filled in, with only a hint or green while tim’s meter would be completely filled and about half red, maybe a little more red of anything. Now that im thinking abt it that entry would probably knock jay out of playable character for a little while too) the more affected the character, the less control the player has

* T key to swap to Tim, J key to swap to Jay, status bars and icons grow/shrink and move over to make room(im shit at explaining things but you can see what i mean in the two screens i made lol)

* When jay is on his own, his stats/icons are pretty much where they are in the first screen i made, theres just a tim shaped hole in the menu until he teams up with tim for real(jessica im sorry i know you technically team up with jay first but,, , its not for very long,,,)

* There would be tta minigames/segments (plus whatever the fuck brian/hoody is doing. we stay silly) during which those stats/icon are set up the same as jay’s(alone), stats would def be different from normal play but idk what they’d be lol havent thought about that too much yet tbh (maybe even a little alex minigame. As a treat :3)

* during the divorce separation, tim and jay’s icons/stats are still on screen, but swapping between the two is locked. you will be who you need to be when you need to be them.

* After jay dies, all his icons black out, but they linger around. Hes not exactly haunting the narrative per se, but hes always been like, something adjacent to that to me

* Any glitches and tearing that happen in game can be separate from glitching that happens in the menu and vice versa

* Font i used for talking is the yt captions font. Id probably use it for smaller text/some bg text/item desc., but the action menu is all drawn(idk what this style is but its oddly fitting in a weird kind of way)

When it comes to the *alleged* Taylor hook ups, how do you generally differentiate between tabloid fodder and people she ACTUALLY dated to some capacity? Also, why the fuck are people SO set on Matthew Gray Gubler and Alexander Skarsgård as "confirmed" things? Those are honestly two that I'm like the least sure of.

Alex Skarsgard is not a thing at all. They worked together on a movie where they didn't even share any scenes, the only pics of them are at group dinners with the rest of the cast, he was partnered at the time, she was like obsessed with Jeff Bridges on set (not romantically lmfaooo but like in terms of asking him about how to be a better actress and shit) and spent most of her time hanging out with him (per Jeff Bridges and other people involved) and she was also spotted flirting with Brenton Thwaites (who's a lot more age appropriate lmao and actually kinda more her type) and I don't think anything happened there either but Brenton's gf hated the absolute fuck out of her so I do think there was yk flirty vibes going on. The only reason people say it's a thing is because the WD MV is set on a film set in Africa and they filmed The Giver in Cape Town but like lmao working in Cape Town really (I would know) looks nothing like that vibe and she's explicitly said it was inspired by old Hollywood and her grandma and I guess Alex Skarsgard is "so tall, and handsome as hell" but so are many, many men and she's said the song is about her very pessimistic stance on relationships at the time and how everything's gonna end and nobody's going to take it seriously (see Douglas Booth lol who is also so tall and handsome as hell and had more of a WD storyline with her BUT I don't think the song is "about" him either).

MGG went to her Fourth of July party and they were rumoured to be talking. She supposedly reached out to him, they talked, he demonstrably went to her party, then it didn't go much further. I kinda buy they may have talked for a bit and like seen where it went idk but it was obviously not super serious ever.

In terms of how to tell bs from stuff with credibility, I look at the following things personally: 1) does the TL line up? Like were both people single/mostly single at the time? Were they in the same places, so is it even possible? 2) ideally, are there pics of them together (my best is blurry potato pics lol because that means they were trying to go unnoticed) and are these 1:1 or small hangs (so for example Dougie and Taylor sitting with Lena at a Fun. concert only really caught by other concertgoers or Hozier and her walking out a restaurant with just her security - if it's a big group of people then odds are they're all just friends lol because why bring your situationship to a HUGE hang?) 3) if there aren't pics of them together, who else has talked about this and what have they said? And what have they themselves said? Like I buy the Evan thing because of the expose of him mentioning it right? And that said it wasn't deep either and never a formal relationship. 5) on that same note, are they still friends lmao? Like Garrett and her aren't (well they were through Joe for a bit there but they don't have their own friendship as far as we can tell, despite both being close to Tim and Faith and having hung 1:1 in 2011). Hozier and her also aren't (despite hanging 1:1 for a while in like 2014). Douglas and her def aren't. If you were casually hanging with someone a bit and then you stop hanging with them and there are rumours you were hooking up, I don't think they did anything wrong but you probably - after realising you don't want to date them - don't see much point in hanging out 6) again, what have other people said and what have they themselves said? Like one of the reasons I truthered Tatty 1.0 is he'd said he'd been to most of her houses. Weird thing to do if you're just sorta friendly especially since they stopped being friendly when she got with Calvin. Or like Ashley Tisdale mentioning Martin and Taylor lol like weird thing for Ash to make up for no reason.

Basically exercise media literacy and common sense and also check the dates and see if it's even possible or if it's contradicted by a whole bunch of other stuff.

And my thing is also the simplest explanation is usually the best: so for Alex Skarsgard to "work", we have to tie ourselves into pretzels for it to be a possibility. Theoretically weird shit is possible, but it's highly unlikely. For her to have gone on a few dates with Garrett in 2011 when both were in Nash and were set up by mutuals and given she was sad about Jake and they were both single and the rumour mill says like they tried but just weren't really hitting it off like that makes perfect sense. So yeah. Kinda assess each thing case by case.

I can't list one without the other ofc. Sausage's lore captivated me in Empires s1, and hasn't let go yet. The lore he's running in Empires s2 is just incredible. It's made me cry far too many times, and I'm just so invested in whatever the hell he's got going on. Also I love a good excuse for religious world-building, and having Santa Perla to work with has been so fun. <3 I'm really looking forward to what Pearl decides to do with her side of the lore now that she remembers as well.

2. Something that makes you laugh

It's Mark Watson, Alex Horne, and Tim Key! This is collectively representing them as a group of friends and just doing stupid shit together, but also No More Jockeys, Mark's long shows, Key's works, and the non-Taskmaster stuff Alex does, though there's not much outside of the Horne Section these days lol, he's a busy boy.

For digital things, may I offer the following: - Longform: Big Fat Quiz 2015. It starts off fairly sensible then gets derailed by bad dong, and only gets more off-track from there. A classic. - Shortform: Carrot In A Box. Need I say more. rip Sean Lock, you bastard genius. </3 - TV series: 15 Storeys High, Sean Lock's sitcom from way back when. It was rec'd to me by a friend, and I don't regret finding a copy to download bc it's so good. <3 - TV series: This Is Jinsy, weird, full of songs, nonsense and whimsy, def worth tracking down a copy of this show. It's so good. Makes me laugh so much. <3 Greg Davies in drag is also a lovely touch lol.

Cub omg. <3 I just find his voice so soothing and comforting, and bingeing through his episodes or watching his streams is very comforting for me. I'm really enjoying all the daily speedrunning streams atm bc they're on when I'm awake during the mornings for me, so I can have breakfast and chill with Cub and it's so so nice. <3

6. A TV show or movie you hope more people will watch

Double The Fist is an old Aussie TV comedy that I maintain is actually a metanarrative about the intersections of queerness, homophobia, and toxic masculinity (ESPECIALLY in the second series) that I am woefully inadequately skilled enough to actually write on, but trust me bro, everyone in the main cast is some flavour of queer and I'm here for it. It's very good.

bonus shout out for Set The Thames On Fire, bc it's such a good movie and more of you need to see it frfr. <3 There were some really, really interesting headcanons going around linking Noel's character in this movie back to his character in The Mighty Boosh as a bonus if you like that kind of thing.

I can't remember which specific episode order I prefer out of the five or so that exist, but yeah!

I've written crossovers with The Prisoner for my last 2/3 fandoms, so maybe I'll get there for Hermitcraft one day. :D?

my thoughts are pretty similar tbh, and i also lean into not really liking him for another kind of simpler reason than those you listed aka i feel bad about thinking this it since he was dying and their relationship was obviously complicated and he obviously had his own trauma but god do i judge him for just unloading it all onto arizona and callie too and not just as a partner of his childhood best friend but as a doctor whose services he needed

also alternative medicine um…

overall he just seems selfish and not that calzona both aren’t selfish in their own special ways but to show up to basically die? that’s pretty freaking selfish
