for whatever reason ryuji has good synergy with like. everyone in the PT even those i headcanon as a lesbians. My own complicated feelings on makoto's poor writing and narrative choices aside, their dynamic is so. so fun. something about makoto trying to branch out from her whole persona (ha) as class president to figure out who she really is and ryuji somehow is the one that gets her in her comfort zone because he literally dgaf about appearances. she kicks the shit out of a shadow with her bare hands in a rage for the first time and he thinks it's the coolest shit ever. they absolutely had a conversation where ryuji went "woah you got a motorcycle as a persona thats so sick. mine's a pirate do you wanna see" like they're showing each other pokemon cards. if their showtime is anything to go by they're both massive fucking dorks who watch shitty action shows and go nuts for them. i love them

Lmao so this is the Trillium wip, and the general idea is that they’re being sent to liberate a planet that’s been cut off by a separatist blockade and Obi-Wan’s like “there’s a type of flower that can only be found on this planet” and Cody, who barely knows this guy - bear in mind, they’re like maybe a week into command together - sorta rolls his eyes and is like “maybe we’ll find some”

Anyways, shit happens. So much shit happens. Like. So much shit happens. Weird Force shit. Explosions. More weird Force shit. Political intrigue (to a minor extent). Flirting. Magic caves. Even more weird Force shit.

Unlikely Friends AU if you'd like to call it anything.

When Vlad got blasted by the prototype portal and was hospitalized, the future Fenton couple worked their asses off to cure the Ecto-acne, stayed close friends and were always in contact. This helped Vlad to not feel isolated, gave time to accept Maddie's new relationship and move on.

He discovered his ghost powers soon after his discharge from the hospital.

To say that he was freaked out was an understatement of a century. But he didn't want to trouble Maddie and Jack and made a decision to was scared to tell keep quiet. He kept the portal that cursed his life and worked on it separately. Be as it may between them, he no longer trusted a lab space with the Fentons in it.

He felt so hollow. Something was always missing. Being around Jack and Maddie made that pain worse.

That resulted in his portal working WAY sooner than that of the Fenton couple. He was even about to tell them! But...

The first ghost he ever actually encountered was the Dairy King. (Yes, Vlad is still a shady as hell billionaire here. Can't change the Core of the person) The Ghost was a little underwhelming but also extremely endearing to Vlad.

The Fentons wouldn't understand. They were both extremely intelligent but headstrong people. They would not change their ways. The permanent access to the Portal would put him and other Ghosts in danger.

So he kept quiet.

Years passed. He would often take trips to the Ghost Zone, or The Infinite Realms as the Ghost called it, and learn. About himself, his powers, their customs, their ways of thinking. He'd make friends with a few and enemies/sparing buddies with others.

A year into his Ghostly existence, he learnt what the hollowness was.

His Obsession. It wanted Kinship. It wanted people he felt safe around. He wanted family he could call his own. He wanted to be understood.

The Ghosts fullfilled it in a way he didn't know was possible. He loved, secretly, being a part of their community.

But no-one fully understood him.

His human needs would make them confused. Their more Ghostly ways were very hard to comprehend. The Ghost speak was a pain to learn.

So when, 20 years after the accident, he met the young Daniel at his doorstep and Saw him, he latches onto the young, green Halfa.

On that night, he came to him and offered mentorship. He may have been a little too pushy and scared the teen, earning the permanent moniker Fruitloop for his troubles.

But he managed to build up some trust when he did his best to help with some Ghost fights.

Vlad would dare to even say that they were becoming friends. The teen was highly entertaining to be around. It was freeing. He could joke, poke and talk to him almost about anything. Danny soon began doing the same.

The Dan incident was horrifying. It brought them closer. It also opened up a lot of teasing material for both sides. (Don't judge. That's how they cope)

Pariah Dark was released by an annoying Box Ghost by accident. They worked together to bring the Tirant down. Young Danny, with the help of his Father's suit, landed the final hit.

Danielle... was a terrifying but welcome accident. Vlad and Danny were doing some experiments on the Ectoplasm and how it effected different stages of the DNA. It was quite fun.

They didn't expect to accidentally clone a full Halfa of Danny when they were messing around.

Danny got a godsister. Vlad got to be a Father in the most unconventional but perfect way.

(And of course when it works he doesn't even care anymore. He doesn't care who sees or hears because it doesn't matter because he did it no one can say he failed this time. Hugs them and just looks so absent and maybe cries a little. "Mama. . .you're gonna be okay Mama. . .I won't lose you, Mama. . .not yet, not before it's time. . .not without saying goodbye. . . .")

Steph just like, fucking dies in the first two minutes of the show, total fakeout that she's in it, and Mariah spends the rest of the show playing Zoey, who is inexplicably in high school.

Paul is in several scenes and ends each line with "Oh, and by the way, I'm bisexual and autistic." It was an astounding performance, the best Jon has ever done.

PEIP shows up but only to tell the entire town they don't know what the fuck is going on and they're focusing on Clivesdale from now on.

In a shocking turn of events, the entire thing is revealed to be a dream that Peanuts the Hatchetfield pocket squirrel had.

Every single secret you've ever wanted to know about Hatchetfield was revealed, but it was done in one big scene where Nick Lang just sits in a chair on stage and rambles for half an hour about timelines. I found it pretty incoherent but I'm sure the theorists will enjoy it.

2. talk about a notable time a narrative or character has looked you dead in the eyes and said “fuck your plan, here’s what we’re actually doing.”

Hereward. jesus christ hereward. literally did not plan for him to be more than akechi's cognition who appears once or twice for plot and flavoring and then. then. some beautiful commenter came up with the theory that he was an akechi from one of the past timelines and like. while that is not what i did it did fucking inspire me to rewrite not only the cognitive Akechi's whole storyline to be a past version of his shadow instead, but ALSO had me change up my entire plan for the later plot. it improved the fic tenfold and spawned a prequel fic and dear god did it make me fall in love with Hereward as a persona but the guy derailed what was gonna be a normal timeloop fic into something new.

23. how do you deal with writers block?

i uh. dont really. i just kinda wait it out. best thing that works is watching different things until i get inspired. or daydreaming until it works. god help me
