Junior wrinkled his nose funny and looked uncertainly at Mario, who replied quickly, and the boy immediately grimaced and looked at Luigi with reluctance.
"Spinach is nasty!"
"And if I make a stew with spinach, would you try it? If you don't like it, I'll make something you like."
"Pancakes?"
Luigi nodded with a wide smile, and Junior threw his hands up in delight. He suddenly grabbed his hand and pulled him inside the castle. The guards he passed in the corridors looked after him in surprise, and some even bumped into each other or into the wall. Nobody expected him to come back of his own free will. But why?

Kaiser Permanente has the absolute nerve to call a stapedectomy—a surgery that can restore hearing for certain types of deafness—‘cosmetic’ if only one ear is affected. Honey, you read that right. Apparently, hearing out of both ears is now on par with getting your nose done. Only in the United States…

it is nice to see Americans support Luigi and bring up how evil our healthcare system is, I think it will fall on deaf ears with the next administration. Americans need to decide if our current healthcare needs to change or stay the same. so far, a lot of people in this country are squeamish about socialized healthcare.
I don't think Americans have it in them to unite & fight against the elite like it's Les Mis. we let the police & feds attack us while peacefully sitting down in a designated free speech zone. how does a revolution start with that and the fact that a lot of groups have no strong leaders or are unorganized?
a majority of people in this country simp for rich people like they're gods and don't realize that those rich people see them as human cattle. it's not to sound hopeless (but I am a little apathetic), I'm just realistic about how Americans are. face it, us Americans mobilize quicker for Stanley Cups & getting angry over pronouns than our rights. our individualism will lead to our downfall.

Bruce Wayne being the owner of the Daily Planet is just about the only reason I can believe Clark Kent would still have a career as a news reporter. And to be clear, this isn't a joke about his salary (which would probably be decent anyway since he's a senior reporter), but rather a commentary on the compromised integrity of American journalism.
Consider the news surrounding the United Healthcare shooting. The murder of a healthcare company CEO was immediately met with universal public support for the killer. Pretty much everyone in America despises the predatory healthcare system so much that they celebrated Brian Thompson's getting gunned down in the streets of Manhattan as being well-deserved, in spite of major news media trying to paint the bastard as an innocent victim and family man
Literally, the best defense of Thompson's character that they could come up with was that he was a father, husband, and a successful CEO who expanded the company. None of the articles mention that he had been separated from his wife for years. They conveniently leave out that under his leadership, UHC was criticized by the American Hospital Association and used AI to automate claim denials, forcing thousands of people to go without medical care.
The dead are lionized all the time. But this was a man whose life's work was built off the suffering of others and had virtually no good deeds to speak of. And yet the narrative that news reporting is trying to push is that the public joy at his murder is "disturbing" and "ghoulish" and even "un-American" (genuinely the most tone-deaf take I've seen thus far).
And now that Luigi Mangione has been arrested as a suspect in the case, the news have shifted to dissecting his whole life and laying it bare for people to see. He's a well-read and intelligent guy who graduated from an Ivy League college. He's a 26 year old tech bro from a wealthy family and was the valedictorian of his private school. He wrote a review of the Unabomber's book and gave it 4 stars. He had a traumatic back surgery and afterward became depressed and withdrawn. He wrote a manifesto condemning corporate America. He played Among Us (the fact that a major news company published a whole ass article about this is both hilarious and depressing).
Whether Mangione was the killer or not, the media is airing out any and all details of his personal history. But most of the articles I've seen aren't trying to analyze what would have led to an otherwise normal guy to assassinate a healthcare CEO. Because it's obvious to anyone who knows anything about American healthcare. Instead it's all talk about how he was "yelling at the press" and not about what he was yelling ("This is completely unjust and an insult to the intelligence of the American people and their lived experience").
90% of American media is owned by 6 conglomerates. It's in their best interest to diminish sympathy for someone like Mangione, who spoke out against the corporate robber barons. It's in their best interest to make people think he's a radical nutjob, a privileged college snob, a violent right-winger- anything that makes him less relatable to the people who are supporting him. And it's working.
Already we're seeing people across the political spectrum getting hung up on whether Mangione is a hero or not because his cousin is a Republican, his family was wealthy, he was college-educated, he's a cis straight white male, etc. It's worth noting that he hasn't even been extradited from Pennsylvania to New York yet, much less been put on trial or found guilty. And even if he was, his identity is not the point.
We must stop looking at the trees and take a step back to see that the entire forest was planted to prevent us from seeing the palace behind it.

I'm almost finished playing PM: TTYD on switch and I was thinking, you know how in the game the Shadow Queen offers Mario to become her servant? I was thinking of what would make Mario say yes. And ofc, my brain automatically jumps to what I would argue is Mario's greatest weakness - Luigi.
When the Shadow Queen is awakened we can see shadow hands extending all over the places you visit - Rogueport, Petalburg, etc.
Tumblr media
When she possesses Peach everything becomes dark and the ground trembles. Afterwards, during the battle one of the Shadow Queen's ability is to use shadow hands to drag Mario into the shadows and attack him. And ofc, we then see her attack the audience with those same shadow hands and basically drain/eat/kill them to restore her full health and power.
Tumblr media
Following this, the Shadow Queen will ask again if you will serve her.
Tumblr media
Mario's partners, ofc, refuse. However, what if this is the moment the Shadow Queen maliciously smiles and turns to look at Mario. His partners may have responded, but he most certainly hasn't. So, she asks him once more, if he won't serve her, otherwise, her cruel smile growing all the more crueler and knowing, his little brother will pay the price. Cue the Shadow Queen revealing that she has captured Luigi much to Mario's shock and horror.
Having possessed Princess Peach, the Shadow Queen has access to all of her memories and this, ofc, includes the loving and tight bond between the twin brothers. When the Shadow Queen regained her full power and health after attacking the audience she asked how she would 'punish' Mario and his allies for fighting against her. And what better punishment then to use the person Mario loves most.
Tumblr media
In the game when the Crystal Stars fly off, the first location is Rougeport where Luigi is shown to be cheering for his big bro.
Tumblr media
So, my thinking is what if when the Shadow Queen awakened, through her shadow abilities she is able to somehow see or sense where each and every resident is located and that includes our favorite green plumber. Thus, using her shadow hands she drags Luigi through the shadows to the Palace of Shadow where they all are.
Now, going back to the what if scenario. The Shadow Queen can use the same abilities she used to drain the audience on Luigi, the only thing Luigi able to say before being attacked, looking right at Mario is, 'I'm sorry.' And there is nothing Mario can do about it because at this point the Shadow Queen is impervious to all attacks. The situation had already been grim and dire, but now even more so. Mario's partners had already questioned what they were going to do. The situation is desperate and hopeless. The Shadow Queen knows this and she will use it to her advantage to manipulate and force Mario to bend to her will. So, she tortures Luigi in front of Mario stating she will release him and let him live if only he accepts to serve her.
All yells for Mario to not listen to her, that she's tricking him, fall on deaf ears as the only thing he can see, hear and focus on is Luigi's agonized cries as his life is slowly drained from him. Mario knows that if Luigi were able to speak, he too would also yell at him to keep fighting and forget about him, that he wasn't important compared to Princess Peach and everyone else. Yet, that isn't true, Mario thinks. Luigi is important. He's his precious little brother. He can't keep watching. He can't let his little brother die.
And so he steps forward and surrenders.

I appear to request Headcanons and shitposts
i'll do my best! hopefully these are alright, i'm not great at shitpost-y hcs but i came up with these :)
shilo wallace
• shilo is a lesbian (see: all of 'seventeen')
• she's homeschooled by nathan
• her favourite subjects to learn at home are biology, mathematics and music
• she has a blog she updates using nathan's PC whenever she can get access to it
nathan wallace
• nathan gets uncomfortable teaching shilo chemistry because it reminds him of marni's death.
• he doesn't let shilo have social media
• he's a surprisingly terrible cook. he wasn't always, he just fell off after marni's death. he especially struggles when it comes to handling meat - it reminds him too much of his repo man job.
marni wallace
• marni is also english, she moved to the USA with mag after the organ epidemic (based on how she pronounces "morning")
• when they were shilo's age, marni and mag used to day drink in a public park at 3pm
rotti largo
• rotti genuinely was nathan's best man at the wedding and he's convinced it was just to mock him.
• he's spent a solid amount of time visiting england due to marni & mag and he always has a great time. he enjoys wetherspoons
luigi largo
• luigi once blew a significant amount of his father's money on cryptocurrency
• he regularly takes pictures of his car. his instagram is just 99% car pics
pavi largo
• pavi is a skinny puppy fan (see: his tattoo)
• he once threw a tantrum as a child begging his father for a pony. this episode lasted a good 3 years
• pavi has been to every strip club and brothel in sanitarium, his next goal is opening up his own
amber sweet
• semi-canon since it's mentioned in her myspace, but amber has published multiple "self-help" books. they're all as entitled and tone-deaf as you can imagine
• she puts those scary eyelashes on her car's headlights & those fuzzy dice on the mirror
graverobber
• graverobber likes watching twin peaks reruns on the TVs dotted around sanitarium's back alleys
• he has been to prison once (implied by him being referred to as a fugitive). he probably got the shit kicked out of him there at some point
blind mag
• mag lives with the largos (implied canon?) and she always tries to make awkward small talk at the dinner table when the kids are causing chaos. it rarely goes well
• mag (and marni) moved to the USA due to rotti largo/geneco's influence there - she believed it'd be safer than staying in england

The One to Blame (Part 3)
Part 1 Part 2
Content Warning: Blood, trauma, graphic description of injuries
______
As the airship rose to the top of the castle where Bowser stood, Mario, Toad, and Princess Peach shared a silent agreement that their only goal at this point was to get Luigi to safety. They soon learned, once they got a better look at the situation, that this would require the difficult task of freeing Luigi from Bowser’s grasp without accidentally breaking his neck, as the koopa’s hand was still clamped down over the man’s face like the teeth of a bulldog. But they had the element of surprise on their side. The appearance of Peach outside of her cage and the reemergence of a “conquered” foe was a dual shock that caused Bowser to lower his guard, and Toad used the opening to launch a cannonball into the koopa king’s shoulder. Incredibly, the impact wasn’t enough to cause any serious damage, but it was enough to elicit a roar of pain as he released his captive to hold his injury. The second Luigi was dropped Mario and Peach rushed in and ushered his limp form to the deck of their airship.
Their greatest stroke of luck was that the warp whistle hadn't been wasted. Early in Mario's journey there was no small amount of temptation to use it to avoid certain dangers they encountered on their way to The Dark Lands, though they knew it was far wiser to save it for the journey back when things would likely be at their worst– which proved to be an understatement. By the time Luigi was on board the stollen vessel, Bowser’s pursuing forces had joined the battle, and the great flying galleon was rendered barely able to stay airborne amidst the damage laid into its hull by the attacking clown cars, bullet bills, and the jet of flames Bowser spat out in rage.
Toad, clinging to the ship’s controls in a struggle to keep them from free falling, blew into the whistle on Peach’s command, and with a shrill tweet the quartet disappeared from Bowser’s view along with the crumbling ship.
In a flash, they reappeared in The Mushroom Forest just outside of Peach’s beloved kingdom. A gentle rain shower had blown in during their absence; another stroke of luck that extinguished the flames of the airship as it finally succumbed to the damage and crashed, toppling giant mushrooms in its path as it landed with a heavy thud in the cool, damp earth. Toad braced himself against the steering wheel. Princess Peach and Mario pressed around Luigi to hold him steady.
Once all was still, save for the sound of falling rain and the creak of the airship as it settled deeper into the mud, Mario was first to act, his greatest impulse being to start carrying his brother toward civilization. When Toad emerged from the driver’s seat and finally got a proper look at the severity of Luigi’s condition, he followed suit, struggling to find some unbroken part of the man by which to pick him up until Princess Peach stopped him with a gentle hand on his shoulder.
“We’ve moved him around too much already. Wait for help to come.”
She pointed to the Mushroom Kingdom in the distance. Toad looked, and could see glimmer of lamp lights already venturing closer– excited soldiers and citizens who had noticed the ship’s appearance from a distance, and were now eager to see whether or not Mario’s mission had been successful.
Toad nodded and stayed put.
Mario, however, seemed blind and deaf to everything except his own misguided determination. He grabbed Luigi under his arms, struggling to lift his dead weight until he caught a good look at his brother’s face, and froze. Up until now, Mario had seen little of Luigi’s features through the fog of adrenaline. They had mostly been either hidden in Bowser’s hand, or masked by a thick layer of blood.
The rain had now washed most of the blood away, though more continued to flow from Luigi’s mouth, nose, and ears, turning Mario’s white gloves a ghoulish shade of pink in his effort to carry him.
Mario's mind– struggling to comprehend what it was seeing– couldn’t help but compare the appearance to smashed bread dough or a dropped cake. He felt lightheaded and distant, like all was little more than a lucid nightmare.
Luigi’s lips, purple, swelled, and split, parted to mutter something that Mario struggled in vain to understand, and in his anxiousness he mistakenly stepped on the ruined remains of the shattered leg, causing the mutter to break into a gargled scream so horrible that Mario panicked and collapsed under his brother’s weight. Toad and Princess Peach acted quickly. They grabbed the duo as they fell, Toad taking charge of Luigi to carefully guide him back down to the floor while Peach wrapped her arms around Mario and pulled him off the deck of the downed ship, away onto the grass at the base of the wreckage. She did so with more aggression than intended. She was expecting a fight, but was dismayed when the plumber numbly allowed himself to be dragged away without resistance, fists clenched and shaking with sobs. Seeing this, she switched tactics. She held him tight and spoke quiet reassurances, struggling to hold back tears of her own. “He’ll be fine. You did it. You saved him. I promise you, with all of my heart, he’ll be alright.” Mario barely heard her over the continued patter of rain. The distant lantern lights rushed closer, rumbling in on a blur of color and voices. There were tugs on his sleeve that were batted away and a few muffled voices saying his name– conversations swelling and falling in volume as his mind drifted. ___
Mario recalled that in the short span of time since he had moved to The Mushroom Kingdom, he became renowned as the one who put an end to Bowser's reign of terror. Naturally, this meant Mario was the first person everyone looked to when Bowser was broken out of prison by his minions and successfully captured Princess Peach during his escape. They gave a lot less credence to Luigi’s abilities. The toads liked him well enough, but he was rarely regarded as anything more than “Mario’s brother.” Up until Bowser’s escape Mario had found this annoying, but when his own reputation came with the burden of responsibility he saw a bright side: Luigi had no obligation to go anywhere or do anything that would put him in danger. Mario had hoped to one day go on adventure with his brother (albeit in circumstances far less dire), but he knew that his own dreams and those of the ever-cautious Luigi were not always going to perfectly align, and this time Mario was determined not to act mindlessly like he did back in Brooklyn when he first started the plumbing business, or when he tried to save the flooding city. He would not throw himself into danger while fully expecting his sibling to follow in his footsteps.
To his surprise, Luigi had already readied a backpack full of supplies the moment he heard word of The Princess’ capture, fully anticipating adventure well before Mario relayed his plan to embark on a rescue mission. He even seemed almost disappointed to hear that the effort was in vain, as Toad already had a pack prepared with the essentials. “Well, it couldn’t hurt,” Luigi shrugged, shoving an extra box of matches into the front flap of the backpack before hoisting the straps onto his shoulders and heading toward the doorway. In the long run, his extra provisions would provide them with only some ramen cups and an extra blanket before the pack met its end in The Seaside Kingdom– grabbed in the beak of a cataquack, ripped from his back, and torn to pieces. But in that moment of preparation, losing spare supplies was the last thing Mario was worried about, and with a determination that surprised even himself he moved to intercept his brother before he reached the doorway. “Wait! Luigi, are you sure you want to do this?” Luigi stopped and stared with a confused expression. “What do you mean?” “This journey is going to eventually take us to The Dark Lands. Do you really want to go back there?” “Ha! no!” Luigi said, forcing a laugh. “But The Princess risked her life to save me. It’s only right that I do the same for her.” Luigi tried to side-step his brother, but Mario mirrored his motions to stay in the way. “We may end up facing up against Bowser again! This time we won’t have any superstar to help us out.” “But I’ll have you, won’t I? And nothing can hurt us as long-” “-As long as we’re together. I know. I know. I just…” Mario trailed off, unable to quite find the words to explain why he was so uncertain. There was more to his hesitation than just a desire to allow Luigi to make his own choices. At this point, his choice his clear. But ever since the incident in the warp pipe (and everything that followed), Mario had become far too aware of the effect his actions had on his brother. He suspected that was why he had this ugly feeling in the pit of his stomach that if they took on this mission as a team, something terrible would happen. Luigi sighed. He gave the tops of his hands an anxious rub before he spoke again. “Look, Mario, I won’t go if you don’t want me to, but first you gotta look me in the eye and say it…” He leaned down so they were face-to-face, and stared at him with a somewhat comedic intensity. “… Just say ‘Luigi, I don’t want you to come with me,’ and I’ll leave you to it. Promise.” In the end, Mario didn’t have the heart to say it. His nagging fear did not outweigh his desire to embark on this adventure with his brother by his side, and part of him knew Luigi wouldn’t have given that ultimatum if he suspected he’d actually follow through. He wanted to come, that much was clear. Who was he to tell him “no”? And it had gone so well up until the end! They were as good adventurers as they were plumbers, if not better. Mario was certain he wouldn’t of gotten half as far as he did without Luigi watching his back, and whenever Luigi was scared or cornered all he needed to do was shout “Mario” and– ___
Before he could finish the thought, Mario felt his heart seize up. His whole body felt in free-fall when he suddenly realized what Luigi had been trying to say earlier through shattered teeth and a broken jaw. Mario. “My name.” Mario looked up from his daze with a frantic desperation. “He was trying to… oh Luigi…” As the world came back into view, Mario saw that there were toad guards scattered about, working on the wrecked airship to unload its artillery and ensure that the fire was fully put out. A few of them startled when Mario moved, most of them giving sympathetic glances before returning to work, but the only truly familiar face to be seen anywhere was Toad. He was holding out his umbrella, dedicating its entirety to shielding Mario from the steadily increasing downpour, paying no mind to how soaked his own clothes were becoming with every passing second. When Toad saw Mario finally recover his senses he couldn’t help but smile with relief as he stepped a little closer.
“Hey! You' okay?” “Luigi.” Mario gasped like he was coming up for air, “Where’s Luigi?” “Don’t worry, he’s safe. The Princess is with him. He’s going to– well, he’s probably at a hospital by now. We can–” He hadn’t even finished his sentence before Mario bolted toward town. Toad tried to fold his umbrella and put it away, but finding he didn’t quite have the time he simply tossed it aside before chasing after his friend, struggling to keep up with the plumber through the heavy rain.

The affliction of the Grotesques has been said to perfectly symbolize this horrid age. The ugliness of war and chaos, now given flesh. If the Arrimaki are the sickness of this world, then these horrid abominations are perhaps the deformity of it. There is no wonder why the Church and its followers are so quick to exterminate these tortured souls, unable to stomach the sight of what they are and what they stand for. Sadly, the Grotesques never had a say in what they were reborn into, and they are clearly not that happy about their twisted forms either. They say their mangled rebirth is a curse, a blight upon man, yet the people refuse to acknowledge which party is truly cursed in all this. But they see monsters and slay them, with no hesitation. Their garbled cries and soggy pleas fall upon deaf ears, as the blades are brought down upon them. So if their suffering and cries will not bring them peace, then they must turn to violence. Thus the Grotesques give into madness and anger, throwing themselves against their persecutors and executioners like rabid beasts. If humanity is truly responsible for creating the Grotesques, then they too are responsible for making them the monsters they are now.
Not all souls twisted into these Grotesques are born from humans, as it seems all walks of life are punished. Simple animals and oblivious beasts thrown into this sickening stew, and emerging as some wretched chimera of dripping flesh. No names are given to these things, no labels outside of "monstrosity" and "abomination." Even the Beast Masters are unnerved by these creatures, less from fear and more from their tortured state. They have a deeper connection with animals than they do man, and this bond shows them the pain and anguish trapped inside this failing form. Some may try to slay these creatures to bring them peace, while others seek to kill them to cease their rampage. No matter the reason, many fail. If a wounded animal is twice as fierce and deadly as any other, than imagine the power and savagery found in those who know nothing but pain, trapped in a world of cruelty.
---------------------------------------
"Grotesque Beast"
We're pulling the strange and bizarre from all places here for the Grotesques! And once I laid my eyes upon ol' Luigi Bergomi's utterly weird creatures, they immediately felt fitting and I just had to use one. Truly some inspiring stuff!

Red looked to the side, clearly embarrassed, and mumbled something under his breath that sounded like "I have worse," but he might as well have misheard.
"Falling into things runs in the family, I see." Bowser smiled, showing his sharp teeth.
He looked sideways at Lu, who immediately turned red and stared at the floor. No one had to explain to him what the conversation was about or why Bowser was looking at him so eloquently.
"Ah! That explains the accident this morning!" Kammy cried out and tapped her rod. "If one has electricity and the other has fire, that explains everything!"
"Fire has natural chemicals in it that attract and conduct electricity, but electricity can put out the fire." Mario nodded, wiping his face. "And since I have fire abilities and Luigi has electricity, that explains why we are attracted to each other and why his power activated this morning."

Hey, same anon here who asked if he’s being hurt in prison. They’re definitely dehumanising him big time and it’s clearly backfiring on them. The excessive show of force is so disgusting. There’s no doubt they’re trying to intimidate him.
I’m worried about them physically hurting him inside. While they parade him around in chains, outside of the first outburst they don’t seem to be manhandling him. If he has injuries from his time inside, would his lawyer be able to do something about it? I swear his guards look like they want to kill him.
I’m Indian and the system here is similarly corrupt. However, a high profile prisoner does have recourse here if he/she is able to prove they’re being physically abused in prison. Is it the same in the US?
Thanks for answering!
in the u.s., prisoners are protected by the eighth amendment, which prohibits cruel and unusual punishment, including physical abuse by prison staff.
inmates can both
pursue legal action (under 42 u.s.c. § 1983: individuals to sue government officials for civil rights violations, including abuse in prison.)
+ file complaints through internal prison grievance systems or with the department of justice. however, human rights watch has highlighted how these laws are often used to dismiss cases on technicalities, including lawsuits involving sexual assault, juveniles, or those who are illiterate, deaf, or mentally ill. as david fathi from the american civil liberties union’s national prison project puts it, “this is a classic case of the fox guarding the henhouse.”
in general, proving abuse and gaining legal support is hard, i imagine this is even more so in a prison environment.
considering that luigi is considered a high profile prisoner, he may have a better chance of receiving attention and legal resources if anything happens to him. the prison has been under a bunch of scrutiny for being poorly operated before, so i guess there is a public interest and incentive there. recently the prison was involved in $10 million class-action lawsuit over “inhumane freezing conditions” during a blackout
on the bright side, the pennsylvania prisoners took an immediate liking to him, stating that they only participated in the news interview “so luigi could hear them”. according to the same article, he shares his proceeds with people around him. community building seems to come naturally to him which undoubtedly will work in his favor.

Hi there! Can i request hcs of Clotted Cream Cookie x Older Sibling reader who is someone who Clotted Cream Cookie look up to, someone who Clotted Cream Cookie can just be himself and not the consul, someone who would tease him like an older sibling would do. Basically just some good old fluff of sibling interactions (the poor cookie needs some family love since Custard Cookie is a bastard of a father)
「Clotted Cream With an Older Sibling Reader」
character: clotted cream cookie (platonic)
wc: 693
cws: a bit of angst, custard being a bad father, reader is the biological child of custard cookie
sorry for taking literal months to get to this!!! i hope this is to your liking, anon!! :) i also wrote this while listening to the boilerworks theme from luigis mansion 3. Good stuff!
Tumblr media
On the outside, Clotted Cream Cookie was who his adoptive father molded him to be: a confident, smart, and intelligent consul.
It was the only person his father allowed him to be. Any kind of imperfections he saw in the young consul were strictly punished and taken care of.
Every day from early morning to late evening, Clotted Cream had to spend all his time doing boring paperwork, attending burdensome meetings, or giving speeches with that confident grin everyone was so used to seeing from him.
The time he looks forward to the most is when he is finally done with his work for the day. When he is able to trudge back to the House Custard with Financier Cookie quietly following behind him.
Though he is not there to rest, not yet, at least! He is there to find comfort in the only family he has that he can lean on: you.
You, his older sibling who is the biological child of Custard Cookie. Except despite your father’s vile personality, you were nothing like him.
You treated Clotted Cream with respect, with kindness. You spoke to him normally. You never yelled at him whenever he made mistakes. You encouraged him to take breaks whenever he needed them.
With the way you treated him so nicely, he felt comfortable opening up to you and being vulnerable around you. You allowed him to vent about your father, how awful he treated Clotted Cream. You were always there for him, no matter what he said.
You respected his feelings and his boundaries. You knew when he wanted comfort from you, or when he wanted to be left alone. Because you knew despite how much you both cared for each other, he still occasionally felt jealous of you.
He would never hold anything against you, but he can’t help the ache in his chest when he sees Custard Cookie speak to you without the usual scowl on his face that the young consul was so used to seeing directed at him.
Though of course, you would never stand for this blatant favoritism! You would always scold your father for mistreating your younger brother, even if your anger fell upon deaf ears.
Although no matter what, you will continue to defend Clotted Cream Cookie as much as you could against Custard Cookie!
Anyways, onto less angsty headcanons!
Clotted Cream’s favorite thing to do with you is playing some board games.
The consul is known for being someone very intelligent, always being a step ahead. But now, he’s able to sit back and play a simple game of checkers with you. Sometimes you win, sometimes he wins, it’s a mixed result!
You and him may also occasionally participate in a little cook-off for fun! Financier is your judge, although she may be a bit biased for Clotted Cream. No hard feelings, though!
And despite not showing it, he quite likes when you tease him in a lighthearted manner. He likes being able to have casual conversations for once. Even when he talks to Financier Cookie, he is required to remain somewhat professional. But with you, he’s able to laugh and joke alongside you!
To put it bluntly, not only does he appreciate having you by his side, but he also very much looks up to you. Despite not being involved with anything in the republic politically, you are still an intelligent and confident cookie like your brother! You’re able to help him with paperwork or writing speeches if he needs it, and he’s incredibly grateful for you.
He wants to be like you someday. You were someone very special and admirable to him…
In the end, Clotted Cream Cookie appreciates being able to have a family member who is always there for him. Even when his father isn’t the nicest to him, and his mother is kept away from him, and he feels like he has no one, he’s happy to remember the warmth and comfort you’ve brought into his life!
So remember to give him a nice pat on the back the next time he comes back from a tiring day of work. He definitely needs it.

I know I ask a lot of questions
but hear me out
the villains of Luigi's harem... Bad End (the bad guys win)
Every king needs a queen 👑
Oh dear, none are pleasant endings for Luigi but lets do it! Btw, I found two fanarts that describe the bad endings best for Bowser and King Boo, I'll reblog them when I'm done with this.
Bowser: it's hard to picture how this would turn out since he's always defeated by Mario as he's Bowser's nemesis, plus I think Bowser enjoys the chaos he causes and putting Mario through all these adventures. But it can certainly happen if Mario ends up being defeated, Bowser would not have let that win go and would either fully immobilize Mario or kill him, if he were actually that hateful towards the plumber. Finally, he can set his plan for world domination in motion and Luigi would be by his side throughout all of it. Luigi would beg and plead with Bowser to stop and do the right thing but it falls on deaf ears and none of the minions are willing to help. Everything is covered in Bowser's mark, everything is controlled to his rule and desire. But Luigi is trapped, the luxuries he receives being of no value to him, he feels like a traitor to be the only to get such lavish treatment while he friends and family are either dead or imprisoned. He had tried to fight, trying to stone his heart and fight Bowser for peace again but it was of no use, not when he's alone and everything has been remodeled to Bowser's benefit.
King Boo: This guy's main mission is to get that bad ending for Luigi, where all his friends and family are captured in paintings to be put up on the wall for display, their horrified expressions stuck in time and with Luigi by his side to see it all. If he were caught alive, he'd be put in a painting for any acts of rebellion or escape, otherwise sticking him to his side and have him watch as he terrorized the living and expanding his domain. If dead, he'd be able to have better control of him given how he's able to control and even brainwash legions of ghosts all at once so he'd have no problem trapping Luigi's ghost to his castle, he'd find it interesting to see how Luigi will adapt as one and how he'll turn out as the centuries pass by. Perhaps he could modify Luigi to be more accepting to his ways and have him terrify the living with him and his boos.
Antasma: This would have happened if he had taken the Dream Stone and betrayed Bowser before he was betrayed. Since he'd used the Dark Stone, he'd know better on how to use the Dream Stone too so he'd be an even harder boss to beat, if he had taken Dreamy Luigi hostage or done something that damaged Luigi's psyche and affected his dreamself so he couldn't assist Mario properly, he would have won and along with Dreambert, would have been captured or even dead. Pi'illo Island and even the Dream World would have been turned into a living nightmare by his design and due to Luigi's legendary powers, he would have been captured and turned into some sort of trophy, a personal buffet only the king was allowed to feed on, never to see another ray of sunlight again. The dream bats would have gone rough and some may turn into monsters too from eating nightmares instead of dreams like Antasma did but he'd never let them get as powerful. Matter of fact, he'd train and use them to conquer other regions and kingdoms.
Dimentio: What do you think would happen here? Game over. Literally. Nothing more, nothing less. The plan would go accordingly. Count Bleck would be down, the Pure Hearts useless, the Chaos Heart and Luigi at the ready to defeat the heroes. And the heroes would have lost. The worlds across the universe would have crumbled and turned to dust, not a single spec of them left to tell an old story. He would have made his own worlds to his desire, become king of them or better yet, their God. And his Man in Green would be by his side for the whole ride, drowning in guilt and despair at the cruel fate that he was given and cursed to be chained to the demented jester that created this hell using him as a tool.

But what's the bad ending then ?
Basically, this bit in Day 42 doesn't happen:
Luigi was still trying to pick out clothes when Mario wandered in twenty minutes later.
Mario gets delayed by something or goes out without checking in with Luigi first. Luigi eventually talks himself out of going back and puts his suitcase away. He tries again a few times over the coming weeks, but never manages to make that final push.
Fast-forward to Day ~80 and Bowser stages a full on invasion of the Mushroom Kingdom in order to kidnap Luigi. Which isn't great, but Luigi's caught between his own guilt for not getting in touch sooner and honestly feeling quite flattered that someone would go to such lengths for him, so he doesn't argue against it a huge amount. He figures there'll be time for that later.
However, when they get back to Bowser's castle and the troops have dispersed and the excitement of kidnapping has faded, Bowser is sort of distant. Luigi chalks it down to getting used to each other's space again; soon enough Bowser's as boisterous as ever, so he's probably imagining it. But as the days pass, Luigi notices how many extra locks and corridor shifting spells are around, he begins to question why there's always a couple of guards shadowing him at all times. Bowser might be trying to act like nothing's changed, but he's not listening to Luigi half as much as he was before.
Five days into this, Mario shows up (it would've been four, but the kidnapping initially appeared to be somewhat consentual, it wasn't until he tried to visit the next day to make sure and found the warp pipes blocked off that he realised and began the usual arduous journey across six-to-eight kingdoms). Luigi finds this out because he gets shoved into a cage for the climatic battle. No matter how much he asks Bowser to let him out to talk about this, his pleas fall on deaf ears.
It's only once Mario wins and Luigi gets back to the Mushroom Kingdom that he realises what's happened. Bowser treated Luigi like Peach (like an idea and an object instead of a person) because Luigi didn't give him any reason to think that changing things would work any better. Luigi made a promise to come back and even if he couldn't manage to push himself to make the trip under his own power, he's old enough to know his weaknesses and at least attempt to figure out a way around them (eg. he knows that if he tells Mario his plans then he's more likely to follow through). He grew comfortable and complacent and he shattered Bowser's trust.
(It takes a while, but Mario eventually manages to get it into Luigi's head that the kidnapping isn't his fault. The broken promise, yes, but Bowser's actions are always his choice and they can't say for certain how things would have gone if Luigi had managed to visit.)
And that's kind of it, a dead end of a relationship. Bowser's never going to believe that Luigi will stay unless he's forced to and Luigi doesn't have the emotional capacity necessary to mend bridges from their current state.
They're both miserable. Bowser's next hostile takeover is in another kingdom and that's pretty much the end of it.
(And Bowser tried, but he's still spent years as the bad guy, with all the problems that come with that. He held off for a week before he started to make kidnapping plans as a hobby. As the days dragged on those plans got more and more elaborate and angrier with every iteration. No one ever comes back. And wasn't it easier when Luigi was just stuck in his castle?)

Hang In There, Weegee!: bowser x luigi (CH 1)
based on THIS comic by @dibujos-de-la-orilla + some of my replies on that post
kamek thinks he hears an intruder in the royal office and goes to investigate
story under the read more
Hang In There, Weegee! (also on ao3)
Chapter 1, Chapter 2
“Mwuah! Hehe.”
Kamek stopped in his tracks, the sound of muffled giggling coming from behind Bowser’s royal office door. Who in the world would have the audacity to do such a thing in the king’s personal office?
The magikoopa adjusted his glasses with a huff; not on his watch!
BANG!
“Who is trespassing on royal property!?!” Kamek shouted, wand blazing. He would be sure to restore the lord’s honor even if-
Oh, it was just Bowser.
The koopa king crossed his arms, smoke billowing from his nostrils. Even while sitting he was easily 5 times as big as the royal advisor.
“King Bowser?!” Kamek exclaimed, confused. He could have sworn he’d heard a second voice. There was no way he was that old... was there?
“You just gonna stand there or what?” Bowser snorted impatiently, tapping a claw against his arm. “I’m still busy doing all this paperwork, ya know.”
Said paperwork was scattered across the desk and floor, probably a result of the advisor’s hasty entrance. Flushing in embarrassment, Kamek quickly waved his wand and whisked the documents into organized piles.
“Many apologies, Your Industriousness; I thought I heard...” Oh dear. The older koopa felt rather silly now, taking his glasses off and cleaning them on his robe to give his hands something to do.
“Well? Out with it!”
The king scratched around his collar in irritation.
“A-ah, it was nothing, Sire. Sorry to have disturbed your paperwork, I’ll be going now.” And with a quick bow the magikoopa fled in a puff of smoke, not wanting to anger the king any further.
...
“Phew!” A loud sigh was heard from behind the large koopa’s shell, The green clad Mario brother hopping down from the other’s spikes. “I almost-a thought he caught us!”
“Uuuuggh,” Bowser groaned, sliding down his seat. He wasn’t worried about the tears in the fabric, it was self fixing, like most of the furniture in his castle.
Rubbing a paw over his eyes the king lazily turned to look at his secret human boyfriend of 3 months, offering his other paw for him to take. Luigi smiled and placed a gloved hand in his, Bowser tugging him into a side hug.
“Crud,” He sighed, giving the plumber an affectionate squeeze. “We really gotta tell someone ‘bout us soon. Sneaking around’s fun but it’d be so much easier if you could just come into the castle without immediately getting attacked, y’kno?”
“Maybe the next-a time you go to-a capture ‘Princess Peach’,” Luigi winked.
“Oh shut up,” Bowser laughed, giving the other a little shove before unclasping his collar and rubbing his neck. “I think you actually gave me a hickey, Green Bean.”
“Really?” The plumber went to touch the other’s neck, Bowser leaning a little lower so he could reach. “Does it hurt?” He asked, gently pressing against one already starting to bruise.
“Psshhh, naw. I’m the biggest, baddest brute around, and don’t you forget it!” He boasted.
Luigi hummed. “Okie dokie.”
“I’m lightning in a bottle! I’m an earthquake in a can! I-” Bowser would have kept going if it weren’t for the feeling of Luigi’s tongue laving over his bite marks. The king shuddered, eyes struggling to stay open when the other kissed his jugular.
“H-haaah.”
The plumber pulled away and grinned up at him. “Why don’t-a we make-a some more, then?”
Bowser gulped.
Oh boy.
BONUS:
'there was no way he was that old... was there?' is talking about old age and deafness
bowser was scratching around his collar because he was worried kamek would see the bite marks so he was trying to cover them more with his hand
'I'm the biggest, baddest brute around, and don't you forget it!' and 'I'm lightning in a bottle! I'm an earthquake in a can!' were taken from the list of bowser quotes from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
