I hope you know Anon you just reawakened my knowledge of DC stuff, and asked this because you saw some of the DC fandom works I posted in the early days of this blog’s time. [*CRACKS KNUCKLES TO START TYPING*] {Points to Long Text below}

Oh boi. Ohhhh boi. Where do we even start with this? So much to delve into.

Alright, let’s start of what we know Krptonians; they are basically very human-like but with advanced biology where they are able to utilize their body’s energies in elaborative ways. Depending on which Earths (universes), how they come with their powers depends but let's say in this case, they can get their powers from the Sun (Red or Yellow sun). Powerwise, full-blood Kryptonians, there’s the solar radiation absorption that allows them superhuman strength and stamina, invulnerability, longevity/immortality (under Yellow sun), superhuman speed, super senses, self sustenance, accelerated healing, super breath, heat vision, amongst a few others.

As demigods though, it’ll depend greatly on their godly parent because even half-Kryptonians and Half-humans have different arrays of powers or delayed. So imagine being half god and half kryptonian? Some of the Kryptonians' aspects may come forward alongside corresponding to the godly parent’s domain, with little wiggle room.

For example, Kryptonians have already accelerated thinking so they’re more calculating and process things faster, so imagine that being the probably their main aspect when they’re also a child of Athena. They probably have their super strength and senses, but they wouldn’t have stuff like laster heat vision or something. Trade offs if you will. However, they’ll also probably have telekinesis and telepathy instead with the Kryptonian genes being brought forward by Athena’s aspects. Think of all an Owl has and put those into the Kryptonian demigod with Athena. Other quick examples include: Demeter-Kryptonian demigod being able to grow plants and burst with their solar flare ability and photosynthesis with their yellow sun absorption. Ares-Krytonian demigod having even more insane super strength and senses. Zeus-Kryptonian demigod who comes to their power of flight much earlier than most half-Kryptonians. You get the point. Then there are some that are just being a child of whatever god and being half Kryptonian. Not really any different from any other demigod problems, just with the added learning of coming into their Kryptonian powers like Jon, son of Clark Kent and Lois Lane.

There are probably exceptions but what is probably an OP godly parent that makes them an exception to the whole rules is Apollo, since he’s the god of the Sun. An Apollo-Kryptonian who has access to the Sun is probably going to be a full Kryptonian nonetheless. If anything a lot of Kryptonians will probably worship Apollo more above Zeus because he’s the Sun god and is the closest thing to Rao, the chief god of Krypton who is also the Sun. 

Despite being so powerful, no matter who their godly parent is, they all have similar weaknesses that wouldn’t differentiate them from normal demigods. They’re all still going to be vulnerable to magic, chi, and other mystical forces. Maybe even more affected than their half-human counterparts since they can’t be harmed by mundane means with their Kryptonian part of them absorbing the sun.  It’s also a risk because Ambrosia and Nectar are considered godly food so who knows what effect it’ll have on them as well.   They’re aspects are also probably less flexible in adaptability as well so there are no gray areas or technicality in powers; due to the fact that we’re talking about the Gods, conceptualization and representation made up by human mortals on Earth of thousands of years of civilization, culture, and history. So those concepts might not translate over to Kryptonian aspects as much due to being from literally a different planet with its own history, civilization, culture and so forth.  Like if a Poseidon-Kryptonian demigod can only control sea water and cause earthquakes, but they can’t control fresh water or anything outside of Sea water since Poseidon is the god of the sea, talk to only actual horses and not Zebras, and etc.

However, what probably the Kryptonian demigods are going to face unexpectedly is the fact they’re going to have an unexpected connection with their own Kryptonian gods and boy, that’ll be fun and no I won’t expand on that.

Dick spent so much time climbing, hanging off things, or solving problems upside down that it became a joke with the Titans that Robins think better like that. Fast forward a couple of years and Jason threatens to shoot the next person who flips him upside down when he's scheming (Artemis gets Bizarro to do it). Tim nearly kicks Kon in the face for flipping him over. Kara does it when Stephanie's being annoying, but mercifully by the time Damian's there, no one does it to him. Still, occasionally one of the Bats will be upside down because they got caught like that or fell through a vent and have a Eureka moment and everyone will feel vindicated and it starts up all over again.

Just a cute lil thought:

Since Bruce's kids all love to play around and hide in his cape as Robins, I wonder if he makes them blankets out of the same materials as his cape so they can have a piece of security when Bruce isn't there?

I remember in Dick and Jason's older comics (correct me if I'm wrong), they used to stay up late waiting for Bruce when he'd go out as Batman alone, so I'm gonna take this as confirmation that all his kids have done this at some point.

So now I'm totally gonna hc that in order to encourage his kids to not stay up late for him or as a way to help them feel more safe and secure when he's not there, he makes them all blanket replicas of his cape for them to snuggle with :')

And also just imagine his kids all grown up, and they STILL have the blankets with them, regardless of if they've moved out.

My take on the whole 'the JL gets mad at Batman for having a child soldier when he gets robin' thing goes like this:

The League is having a fight with Batman saying it's wrong to bring a child, especially with no powers, into fights with supervillains and it's irresponsible to put children in danger

And Batman interrupts with "so you take him then"

And the League just kind pause, like "huh?"

"One of you can babysit Robin for a week and then we can revisit this discussion."

They're a little confused but eventually Wonder Woman agrees to take him in.

She returns with him a week later. "I apologize Batman, we have misjudged you. I adore him but please take him back now."

(she couldn't get him to stop sneaking out to fight crime without physically restraining him)

Teddy bear!reader forced to be into human form so one of the boys can take them out and spoil them. But it’s only to show others that you belong to them if you somehow escape them.

But that only stops when you get shocking pain in your neck. You roar, clawing at your own skin and fur. You transform between bear and human. Dick frowns as he hold the controller down. Damian could only hold a scowl watching his beloved animal act out.

Jason sits watching you beg for the pain to stop, Tim could only smile. Bruce has a hand on Dick’s shoulder. He squeezed it seeing you about to pass you. Dick stops the shocking pain.

You whimper, holding your arms. You feel your claws poke your own bruised body. Bruce kneels down, lifting your head as you flinch at his touch. “Our poor teddy….” He says lowly, he shows pity more than guilt.

It makes you sick as you try and roar at him, growl. Anything. But in the corner of your eye, you see Dick ready to press the button. You immediately stopped trying to fight. “You seem cranky..” Bruce says, he then helps you sit up as Damian moves by his father.

“Father, maybe it’s time for them to eat some honey?” He questions.

Honey…it’s not honey. It’s a drug to make you loopy. To make you obey them. To make you happy and do anything they wish to do to you.

To make you their perfect little teddy bear.

Martian demigod? Where the mortal parent is Martian Manhunter?

Alright let's go, another sort of long one!

There are still limitations to speak of and yet Martian can be very OP as well, just like Kryptonians, but there’s one major downside where they’re weak to Fire. Depends on which lore you want to go with where they’re just weak to fire but there’s also a bit of Martian Lore that despite how flexible and vast the capabilities of Martian, they’re were made to be weak to Fire, not as a physical weakness but as a psychological weakness. For those who don’t know there’s a piece of lore where the Guardians of Oa, placed a powerful psychic block within the Martians to inhibit and prevent the Martians from using their genetic talents for conquest. This happened when the Martians were they were known as the Burning Maritans, where they were constantly ablaze and inflicted suffering and torment into others; relying on the heat of an inferno and the psychic suffering of others in order to reproduce. There’s more to this lore but that’s the gist of their weakness. Otherwise, I can see them adapting more into the aspect of the gods and oh boy, this can be very dangerous and powerful. Out of all the gods that Martian demigods would benefit from the most are: Apollo, Ares, Athena, Dionysus, and Hephaestus With the rest from being mid to low power.  

Apollo-Martian demigods benefiting from producing light, especially when the Martians live underground, and a healing factor

Athena-Martian demigods adopting strongly from Athena and their Martian parent where their telepathic and psychic powers are immense, with even stronger intellect, and able to form telepathic bonds that are like Satyrs. There’s also the possibility of Athena-Martian demigods inheriting Athena’s quirk of how she can have children- Anyways, Athena-Maritan demigods would be cracked at creating inventions and crafting with Martian society being so technologically advanced and with their intellect allowing them to just create things. 

Ares-Martian demigods would probably be most at home and adapt into their power prowess with Ares being technically connected to Mars. Dionysus-Martian demigods being more adept at the psychic and mental realm.

And Hephaestus- Martian Demigod would be rare since Hephaestus is a God of Fire, but if Hephaestus and a Martian had a demigod, their child would no longer have or be able to bypass the Fire Psychic Block and come into their true nature and power much more easily. Now there’s the possibility of that demigod being too powerful and dangerous and being evil, so there’s that. Otherwise, they too are at the risk of having an asexual birth, like Athena does with her own children, but with fire. Putting that aside, the engineering and creation of a Hephaestus-Martian demigod would be HUGE since Martians are very technologically advanced and can make a lot of stuff. 

In general Martian demigods will still be vulnerable to physical earthly dangers but I would say their major weakness is to magic; much like the reasons for Kryptonians but because it’s Magic then anything else.

"So, handling your archnemesis," Danny starts. The room falls quiet, heads slowly turning to look at the man as he writes the words on the chalkboard. When finished, the characters somehow both messy and neat at once, Danny places the chalk back down and claps his hands.

"I typically call them fruitloops. Often they're in a better position than you are- older, richer, more powerful. They may have some sort of status that protects them when facing the public."

Tim wondered where Dick was right now, and if he was laughing. His brain was lagging like a computer as he tried to process what Danny was saying, and how seriously a few of his fellow teen vigilantes were taking this.

"Some of their more common tactics are-" the chalk was picked back up, and Danny writes as he speaks.

"Manipulation, isolation, conditioning, and empathy."

MICE.

Tim stares at the board, and quietly slips put his phone.

-What have I done to deserve this.

His head thumps against the desk. Conner leans over, gives him a pat on the shoulder but returns to taking notes as Danny goes on to explain the conditioning tactic.

“It’s currently—” Jason leans back on the counter’s edge to glance at the clock, “—five in the morning.”

“We talked all night?”

The refrigerator’s light glows in the kitchen, casting its hue on you and Jason. You stay seated stubbornly on the counter. The cool surface biting into the bare skin of your thighs.

“I’m freezing.” You groan.

Jason coos. He moves to stand between your legs. Your head instinctively falls to his shoulders.

“Poor baby.” You can imagine the smug grin on his face. “Weren't you the one who decided not to sleep tonight–”

“But–”

“–to eat, what is this again?” He picks up the Ice-cream carton placed next to you.

“Ice-cream. I was craving something sweet.”

“No wonder you're freezing. Plus, we need to address your sweet tooth.” He laughs.

“I have a weakness for sweet things.” You place a chaste kiss on his cheek. Jason snorts. The corners of his lips curled.

You snatch the carton from his hands. Grabbing the spoon you take another bite. You can feel your mouth freeze as the cold spreads in your mouth.

“Oh no, poor baby–”

“Shut up, Jay.”

“Want me to warm you up?”

You give him a faux glare.

“How do you stay warm, anyway? You hog all the blankets, maybe that's why.”

He gasps. “No, I do not.”

“Take responsibility, Jason Todd. Warm my hands for me.” You reach out your hands in front him, fingers wiggling. The smile on your face reaches your eyes.

With a tender grip, he wraps your hands in his, the warmth of his palms spreading slowly into your cold fingers.

“I spoil you too much.”

“Kiss me,” you whispered.

He smiled, a pearl-iridescent grin that lures you in. “You always order me about.”

“Kiss me.”

“Now you want a kiss? Are you sure?” The corners of his smile curled, turning into a teasing smirk. “Because once I do, I might not be able—”

Your hands grasped the fabric of his collar and yanked him down.

His lips danced around yours. The taste of him seeped into you akin to honeyed nectar. His hands encircled your waist. Calloused hands fleetingly ghosted over your skin.

“I love kissing you.” You murmured.

“Spoiled.”

“Shut up. You love me.”

so I’ve seen lots of fics about Bruce coming back and finding out things like Tim loosing his spleen or Damian getting shot (on multiple occasions by different people) and he almost always finds out by either having dug into the Batcomputers records and stumbling across it or just seeing it on scans or something after Tim or Damian is injured

but imagine for a moment Bruce finds out, not on his own, but by the others telling him.

And by “tell him” I of course mean that they all automatically assume that he already knows about all of it(because he’s the worlds greatest detective so obviously they don’t need to say anything) so they never bring it up until they mention it one day in passing and nearly give him a heart attack.

for example:

Bruce: Tim, I need you to come with me to speak with Dr. Thompkins down at the clinic about that new drug that’s been circulating

Tim: Oh, sure thing, just let me grab my mask

[Bruce not saying anything but looking at him confused because Tim is already fully suited up and wearing his domino mask?]:

[Tim, now wearing a surgical face mask]: Ok, I’m ready! [Bruce just staring at him, waiting for some explanation. He doesn’t get one.]:

Bruce: Tim

Tim: hm?

Bruce: Why are you wearing a face mask..?

Tim: Oh! Well Dr. Thompkins got mad at me last time I came to the clinic without one because there’s a lot of sick people there and I should be more careful since I’m immunocompromised-

[Bruce, immediately cutting him off]: Wait, what?

[Tim, slightly confused]: She got mad at me when I didn’t wear one last time..?

[Bruce, equally confused and growing very concerned]: No, not that. You’re immunocompromised?

[Tim, now completely lost because this is all common knowledge?]: Uh, yeah??

[Bruce, even more concerned]: How??? What do you mean??

[Tim, getting annoyed and rolling his eyes]: Well that’s what they call you when you have no spleen, Bruce.

Bruce: What.

[Tim finally realizing that, just maybe, they skipped a step]: I have no spleen? It got stabbed so Ra’s took it

[Bruce, about to have an aneurysm]: RA’S DID WHAT-

______ Or like him finding out Damian had his entire spine replaced

Bruce: Hey, do you think it’s strange Damian’s so small?

Dick: No?? He’s ten?? Ten year olds are small?

[Bruce, audibly concerned]: No, I mean don’t you think he should have grown some by now? Is he not eating enough?

[Dick, immediately relaxing]: Oh, that? Yeah, it’s fine

[Bruce, still concerned]: Are you sure? I was taller than that at his age

[Dick, waving his hand dismissively]: Nah, he’s fine. I think the spine replacement just stunted his growth a bit

Bruce:…

Dick:..?

[Bruce, near hysterically because all his kids somehow keep losing pieces of their insides and none of them seem bothered by it??]: his wHAT- ____

Dick has to spend the next several hours trying to stop Bruce from making everyone do a mandatory medical examination so he can make sure none of his other kids are missing anything

Dick promises that it was just the two things

Bruce is not reassured
