I know there's a lot of people out there that think Dark and Light should have a romantic relationship, but, hear me out...

Twin siblings. Make 'em twin brothers. Yin and yang, what have you, but they're basically total opposites in some very key ways. One example, Dark is easily flustered and takes things to heart a lot. Light is more unflappable and clearly settled into his own skin. Makes arguments the most frustrating things ever for Dark given that he'll be all ready to bleed off the resentment he has from being thought of as 'the bad one' and Light just, doesn't match his energy. Doesn't get mad. Absolutely sees the projection for what it is, and Dark is just no no no no I wanna be pissed off at something LET ME BE PISSED OFF!

And meanwhile Light's like sure, man, you can be pissed, but not at me because my existence isn't what's wrong here. We both know you're not mad because of ME specifically.

And Dark gets huffy because he's not gonna be able to correct all instances of nyctophobia on planet Earth. Though Light lets him rant a bit anyway because, hey, better than the guy stewing in private.

But yeah, sibling snarkiness and in-jokes. Silliness. 'Oh remember that time when you-' quickly followed by 'WE SAID WE WERE NEVER SPEAKING OF THIS AGAIN AND HERE YOU ARE SPEAKING OF IT'. Occasional moments of Twins being Twins.

Autobot Leader Grieves Fallen Comrade (Optimus X Human Y/N)

Optimus Prime stood in front of Y/N's lifeless body, his spark heavy with grief and sorrow. The battle between the Autobots and Decepticons had been brutal, and Y/N had sacrificed herself to protect her comrades. As the leader of the Autobots, Optimus had seen many losses, but this one hit him particularly hard.

He knelt down beside her, his massive frame dwarfing her small, fragile form. Gently, he reached out and brushed a strand of hair from her face, his metal fingers trembling slightly. Y/N had been a brave soldier and a loyal friend, always ready to fight for what she believed in.

Optimus bowed his head, his optics dimming as he struggled to control his emotions. Around him, the other Autobots stood in respectful silence, their own sparks aching with the loss of their comrade. Bumblebee, who had been particularly close to Y/N, let out a mournful whir, his doorwings drooping.

"Y/N was a true hero," Optimus said softly, his deep voice resonating with emotion. "She fought with courage and determination, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. We will honor her memory by continuing the fight against the Decepticons, and by protecting her species."

With a heavy spark, Optimus carefully lifted Y/N's body into his arms, cradling her against his chest. He would ensure that she received a proper burial, befitting a warrior of her caliber. As he turned to leave, he caught sight of the devastation around him - the smoldering ruins of buildings, the twisted metal of destroyed vehicles. But amidst the chaos, he also saw hope - the determined faces of his fellow Autobots, ready to continue the fight in Y/N's name.

"Till all are one," Optimus murmured, his optics glowing with resolve. "Till all are one."

Thinking about how if Regulus looked in the Mirror of Erised he wouldn't of seen himself with James, or himself with Sirius.

He would see James and Sirius happy, surrounded by the people they love and care about. Because Regulus didn't care if he was happy. What Regulus desired the most was for the people around him to be happy.

And if I said he broke down because he spotted himself in the crowed, and knew he couldn't give them what they and he wanted...

Some first attempts at drawing Light and Dark from Orion and the Dark. Also a fan character named Twilight, who handles the transition between night and day. So, dawn and dusk, though for her it's like painting. She's a bit younger than Dark and Light, given that it took a bit for that sort of thing to actually take place, like you'd probably need actual planets and horizons for there to be a dawn and dusk.

But, well, even though this 'kid' is about as old as the occurrence of a sunset and a sunrise, Dark and Light still think of her as a younger sister. Doesn't help that she's smaller than they are. Helps with getting from zero to 100 when flying, she's easily the zippiest out of the three of them, but yep. Both Dark and Light seeing this one pop up in the pre-Cambrian age and its like, omg tiny, she's TINY...

And yeah, Twilight totally climbing all over her big brothers like a glowey little monkey. Dark loves it and is pretty tactile in return, though keeping night underway takes up a lot of his time, especially with other entities that rely on him to do their jobs. Though Twilight does start wearing a hoodie ensemble similar to his robe and oh boy there went his emotions because it's clear she's trying to emulate him...

Light is less able to be climbed on but he enjoys talking with and having one on one time with Twilight, more of the type to want to build up the kid in other ways and provide guidance. He's also the one that tends to be the most intuitive, easily reading when Twilight maybe isn't doing her best or needs someone to talk to for a bit. Again though, responsibilities. He's gotta be moving as much as Dark has to be.

So they kinda cooperate as best they can when it comes to Twilight and keeping things in balance. Seems to go well, at least until the boys start arguing more often than usual...

showing shadow's life on the ark was such a good fucking idea. sure they're just little moments, but they've given me an even deeper appreciation for his character

I've ALWAYS wanted to see more of maria and this is exactly why. seeing how she and shadow were on the ark makes her death less of a plot point in shadow's past and more of a proper tragedy

there's something about seeing shadow be so open, to hear him admit to insecurities he's having.....it makes seeing how he acts now almost miserable. because now, we know how much of himself he's closed off to others, how much tighter he's holding onto his emotions. to me his character no longer feels like a lone-wolf hero, he feels alone

we always knew she was his purpose....now we can see she was his whole fucking world. maria never struggled with who she was (this ugly heartless creature...i'm really no different than this thing), and she had a place she was going to eventually return to (I was created here, I don't know if there's a place for me on earth), shadow only ever had her

and now, we know her. we know just how kind she was, how she looked out for shadow just as much as he looked out for her. how, while she was a bright spot in shadow's gloom, she never shied away from talking about the harder parts of their lives. and now that we know her, I feel her loss deeply instead of a vague "oh, that's sad"

shadow's side looks so empty without maria there.
